LEF: "Hey since you denounced me as your goddaughter - mind if I steal your strongest (and now mortal) son as my husband? K thanks! Byyyyyeeee!!!" Li Jing: "EHHH!?" Nezha, on earth:

The character I'm referencing is: Lady Earth Flow/Half-Guanyin/Golden Nosed Albino Rat/Mouse Spirit. An infamous literal and figurative maneater, so much so that most adaptations show her as a vampire. Her MO is to target monks to SA and eat them for their yang energy. Tripitaka is nearly a victim in the novel, if not for the fact he was deep inside the monastery with a cold. Wukong however is nearly assaulted in his monk glamour - which he responds understandably by trying to kill the spirit with Ruyi Jingu Bang.

Later it is discovered in the villain's lair that she's a goddaughter to Li Jing - he spared her life after she became an uplifted mouse spirit. But she took the opportunity to become something even worse...

Curiously, Li Jing mentions having a little daughter in Jttw - a six year old girl named Zhenying who's not even old enough to fly or cause mischief. He briefly gets very confused when Wukong shows up claiming his daughter is assaulting and eating monks. Though Zhenying likely only exists for the joke.

Lady Earth Flow is subdued by Li Jing's army and is denounced as Li Jing's goddaughter, her fate left up to the Tathagata Buddha.

So here comes the TMKATI au; where its been a couple hundred years, and Nezha is on earth after getting exiled from Heaven by the Jade Emperor. He's about his awkward and rebellious late-teen years, and he and the Noodle Family have been arguing for some time about what he'll want to do when he graduates.

Lady Earth Flow, having escaped/revived, decides to exploit a boy's trust so to take a hit at him and his father... Living as a school counsellor, she has many victims ripe for the picking - but for the Lotus Prince to fall into her lap is a chance far too good to miss.

Don't worry, nothing too bad happens to our dear boy. Even if him and his guardians are arguing, he still shoots off a text to his little siblings + Sandy about where he's going. And no matter his age he's pretty distrusting of authority.

LEF severely underestimates how much the depowered god can fight back. And how much Li Jing cares for his son...

LEF has gained power in last few centuries, albeit lazily; pinning the Pagoda King with spiritual clones when he comes to his son's rescue.

LEF discovers the poppet made from Nezha's shorn hair and laughs. He's still crying about him? His little boy is about to become a man!

The mouse spirit alights the poppet with the fire from her oil lanterns.

Li Jing sees his youngest son's life flash before his eyes. And sees red.

He hugs Nezha tight afterwards, telling him that it's ok and that it's all over, all whilst covered in his former-goddaughter's blood. Nezha stares blankly, hugging his father tighter than he's ever had in last thousands of years. He saw the memento his father held so dear - one made by a parent in mourning.

The rest of the parents show up shortly afterwards, worried out of their minds for the same boy.

Lady Earth Flow is sent packing to King Yama himself. But not before she gets arrested by mortal police for her crimes.

Lady Earth Flow is actually the Golden Nosed Albino Rat Spirit who attained her powers after practicing Taoist arts for 300 years. She secretly ate the Candles of Redolent Blossoms at Vulture Peak and called herself "Half-Guanyin". She has fought and defeated by the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King, Li Jing, and the Third Lotus Prince, Nezha, is ready to finish to kill her. However, the Buddha told them both to spare her life and she has become grateful for mercy. Li Jing adopted the rat out of pity, thus she acknowledged Li Jing as her godfather and Nezha as her godbrother.

She moved to the Bottomless Pit at Flaming Air Mountain while self-proclaiming herself 'Empress' among the rat spirits and renamed herself "Lady Earth Flow". Years later, Lady Earth Flow had birthed the Golden Nosed Obsidian Rat Spirit/Yìchén and titled her as 'princess'.

Lady Earth Flow owns different variety of swords made by the personal blacksmiths, found in her own civilization with its valuable metals that has extraordinary properties, including the ability to absorb, store, and release the large amounts of kinetic energy. Lighter than steel, conductor of electricity, and almost impossible to destroy.

In JTTW, the pilgrims pass by Black Pines Forest, she disguises herself as a human damsel and uses Yìchén to attract the great monk's attention. Tang Sanzang takes pity on both her and her daughter, he lets accompany them to a nearby temple, but Sun Wukong sees through the demonic cover.

While the pilgrim rest and Yìchén is resting in a temporary temples as she has been feed with milk, Lady Earth Flow lured and ate six monks in three nights and was about to lure Tang Sangzang to try and seduce him, but thankfully Sun Wukong caught her in time as the two fought.

After numerous attempts, Wukong put her in a tight spot and he brought Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing to fight along side to corner her. Lady Earth Flow uses her time to distract them with her trick and captured Tang Sangzang and taking Yìchén back in her arms.

With Tang Sangzang in her domain, she actually doesn't want to eat him for immortality. Instead, she wants to marry him. Her servants brought him vegan meals and clean water for him to drink, they went out to satisfy the basic needs for him to survive. Clearly, Tang Sangzang is very much committed to Buddhism and she's trying her best to persuade him to marry her and become Yìchén's stepfather so they can be a family together.

Wukong, being a small fly, tells his master that he'll go in the wine and once she's drinks it, he'll immediately kill her.

So she puts up a toast for the two to drank wine together, Tang Sangzang interfere her to don't drink it as Wukong's plan failed.

He ran to the sacred shine that has a tablet on it and Yìchén is playing nearby. Wukong was ready to destroy the tablet to get his impulsiveness out, he suddenly stop and read the tablet, belonging it to Li Jing and Nezha. So, he took the tablet and Yìchén with him to file a complaint to the Jade Emperor up in the Celestial Realm.

Up in the Celestial Realm, Li Jing was being accused that he adopted his daughter. Prove that Wukong is carrying the incense burners, tablet, and a literal baby in his arms as evidence. Li Jing is denying, saying that he only has three sons, Jinzha, Muzha, and Nezha, and he also claimed that he has a "seven year old daughter" whom she doesn't know anything about demons or monsters.

Wukong scoffed it off as he head on to the tablet to Li Jing. He did and his eyes turned to Yìchén because she does have a gold nose on her face. Aware that this evidence is real, he tried to take the tablet away from Wukong, but Wukong backed it off and he implied that Li Jing is trying to destroy it. If that doesn't work, Li Jing will execute Wukong for treason (obviously it didn't work he can't die.). Nezha stopped the assault as he admits that Lady Earth Flow is family. Nezha points to Yìchén and that newborn is also a part of the family, making her his adopted grandfather, who has nothing to do with this situation.

Li Jing apologized to Wukong for accusing him, but Wukong is adamant on suing both the father and son. But he will let it slide for their sake because he wants his master safe and sound while continuing he wants to continue onwards to the journey.

Meanwhile, Lady Earth Flow is trying and trying to persuade Tang Sangzang into marrying him and once he said, Lady Earth Flow snapped as she raise her dagger to strike him in the heart. She was stopped by Nezha and the celestial army. She plead for Nezha to spare, but how could he after the stunt she pulled after the first mercy he was halted.

OThis punishment cause Lady Earth Flow and the rest of the rat spirits were involved with the plot arrested by the celestial armies to face imprisonment, where she had to leave Yìchén behind to fend for herself in the later centuries.

I don't know what will happen in LMK S5, but I doubt that she'll appear in it. But it was fun drawing her in my art style!

In case you were curious about Diyong from my previous ask here’s a rundown of her:

The Golden Nosed Albino Rat Spirit was a rat who studied under Guanyin but abandoned her studies after deciding that she wanted to become far more famous and revered that her teacher (gaining the epithet Half-Guanyin), creating a kingdom of spirits within underground tunnels (complete with a Buddhist temple), she later went on to kidnap Tripitaka wanting to make him her husband, after she was defeated she was spared from death by Nezha and she in turn swore loyalty to him and became his sister.

She hasn’t appeared in LMK yet, though in MK’s flashback to his creation one of the animal statues that was shown was a rat which could be a hint to her appearance in season 5 (since Nezha is likely going to play a bigger role in season 5 we’re likely to get a look into his background, which includes his family).

In terms of her personality I imagine her to be a hopeless romantic who falls in love too easily (I could see her going gaga over MK just by bumping into him), which makes her act like a shy school girl (until she’s rejected), with most people she’s either a snobbish high society lady or a complete tsundere, with the only exception to this pattern being Nezha, whenever she’s with him (even if there are others around) she becomes a sweet, energetic, upbeat, and obedient little angel.

She has a strong distaste for the Pilgrims, Tripitaka especially for rejecting her, though she does respect Wukong as a fighter, and has a soft spot for Ao Lie (being the only member that didn’t hurt her physically or emotionally).

Her abilities include the standard celestial powers (72 transformations, cloud surfing, and basic magic), earth manipulation so precise it’s like looking at flowing water (hence her name Diyong (Lady Earth Flow)), and a mystically heightened sense of smell that stems from her golden nose, she’s also a skilled swordsman often wielding dual blades.

(In terms of media exposure she only appeared in the 2011 live action JTTW series, which I can only guess the reason for that being that most creators didn’t want to include more than one husband-napping, which considering only a quarter of Wukong’s enemies are well known it kinda makes sense, and the reason they always go for Scorpion Queen over Diyong (even though she has much more impactful character ties) is because SQ appears directly after the most bizarre chapter in the story (the kingdom of women), so she’s much more memorable)

How would Li Zhenying/Lady Earth flow exist in your AUs?

In JTTW,(in chapter 83 i think?) We're briefly infromed that Li Jing already has a young daughter,Li Zhenying,who was maybe 7ish in the chapter,and his other self proclaimed 'daughter' Lady Earth Flow,the golden nosed albino rat.

I get we dont have much info about them compared to their brothers but I'd really like to know about them in your AUs!!!

Lady Earth Glow was more of a goddaughter from what I heard, and In the book I’m pretty sure Li Zhenying was played as more of a joke, since she’s not really anywhere else in the mythology of the Lotus family.

So while Lady Earth Flow might potentially be one of the characters that may come in to play later on, I don’t think it’d be so soon. There’d have to be a reason that she would come up out of hiding, especially against the very people who got her saved from being executed.

As for Zhenying, she’s not canon (yet). In Lionsword canon, Jing had three boys with Yin, and a baby girl with Azure.

anyways. In this Au, the timeline is rearranged. Monkey king would go on “vacation” far earlier, leaving Mk alone. Maqacue appears, convincing Mk to join him. Leaving the others behind.

(Y/n) began working later than in the original fanfic, she began training with GNAR (golden nosed albino rat) after only being in china for a few months.

she began working at Pigsy’s after seeing a “help wanted” sign.

(Y/n) and mei’s & (Y/n) and Mk’s relationship will be very different.
