Part 5 of my JTTW designs, I realized the only other female characters I've drawn so far are PIF and Chang'e so I figured it's time for more gals

I was originally going to draw the Lady Bone Demon with more skeleton-like features but I didn't really like any of the versions I tried so I decided that making her look more human and innocent may be more fitting anyway (especially since this art is during JTTW), because in the novel she depicts herself as an innocent young mortal to deceive Tripitaka, and opted to give her some skeletal motifs in her clothes and hair decor rather than her physical body.

Having HIB related thoughts again and had a brilliant thought about what a certain little monk and scorpion demon's dynamic would be like:

Dasheng: "Hey brat, why are you crying?" Liuer, near-incompressible blubbering: "Because I met a scorpion girl and she says she gonna marry me, and thats why I'm crying!" Dasheng: "You're crying cus you don't want to marry her?" Liuer, nodding: "Yes." Little Scorpion Demon, appears in elaborate wedding outifit: "I WILL MARRY YOU!" Liuer, shrieking: "NOOO!!"

The Scorpion Demon is only a tiny little girl who's in love with the idea of love. Very Pucca-esque. She is still a great foe to the Golden Cicada. Because no matter his age or universe, Tripitaka thinks girls icky.

The adults think it cute at first, but Guanyin has to lay down some ground rules after the second or third time the little Scorpion Demon tries court-napping Liuer.
