If you’re still doing the prompts: 14.)“Close your eyes and hold out your hands.” With Red and Kitty
Hi there Prissy, I really hope you like this a lot!
Even since the bike incident that Sherri has tried to ride a bike for the first time in her life and crashed into Red's knee and also on the tree; Red has been struggling with walking without his stick on his left arm and with his relationship with Kitty when it comes to romance a lot.
Red is feeling weak with the walking stick on his left arm and plus, this made him feel vulnerable about his health and his position as the man in the Forman household; Kitty is feeling bad for Red at this point in his lifetime so that Kitty has an idea of a lifetime for Red and she is going to make him feel so better in this world.
"Close your eyes and hold out your hands Red." Kitty said to Red softly as she took Red's hands and goes to the kitchen where she and Red could slow dance together alone with the slow music to create a romantic atmosphere and also for the rest of the evening; Red has come a lot happier than he was in this morning and it's all thanks to Kitty's help with his situation with the walking stick made this day, the best day ever for him.

By the looks of it, unlike Naranja/Uva Academy, Blueberry Academy is age restricted since we only see kids as students there. Since Kieran is in class 1-4 and Carmine is in 3-2, it's safe to assume that Carmine is only two years older than him despite being like a foot taller.
Logically Carmine got in first, and then Kieran two years later. So Kieran would've been on his own until then. I imagine he still had no friends during this time; I mentioned it before, but Japanese rural villages like Mossui have a population issue.
In the Higurashi series, which takes place in the 80s, there's less than a dozen kids between elementary and middle school age in Hinamizawa, and they all share a single classroom and teacher. In timelines where everyone gets to live (lol), the school eventually shuts down entirely when all the kids age out and no one replaces them. It also appears that anyone who wants to continue their education has to move out of the village entirely.
I don't think I've seen a teenage NPC in Mossui? When Pecharunt brainwashes everyone in town and brings them to Loyalty Plaza with it, besides Carmine, they're all middle-aged or elderly. The time Kieran was alone was probably when he frequently snuck off to Ogerpon's cave.
Of course, this also means Carmine never had friends in Mossui either. Thankfully she at least has Amarys at school. Until then though, they literally had no one else to hang out with, and they still only hang out with each other when they're home because the situation hasn't changed.

Ok, I ended up watching some of the Golden Bachelor out of curiosity. And I get the sense Gerry and Theresa genuinely do like and care for one another. Some attraction. But they aren’t “in love.” Not properly.
But that’s what happens when you are both widowers in your 70s.
You need someone, you need some companionship. You settle.
I’m not even saying this is a bad thing.
Literally more interesting than any other season of The Bachelor involving the hot 20 year olds.

Do ALL humans have a ridiculously long lifespan in the Destiny universe??? Like is that just an alternate universe where humans have naturally very long lives, or was that a result of the Golden Age and advances in science and medicine prolonging life? If it was Golden Age, then wouldn't any Guardians who died BEFORE then have a normal life (accounting for existing advances to ward off death from disease and injury)? Did they manage to modify all humans so that going forwards they naturally age slower and love longer? I would have thought the increased lifespan was only accessible with GA advancements and that not all of that would be possible anymore (though some definitely)
Humans got their extended lifespan due to the Traveler's gifts. Probably also a combination of some of the advanced technology allowed by the Traveler's arrival. But it's generally seen as the Traveler uplifting us in pretty much every way.
Micah Abram also confirms that this definitely only started with the Traveler (the "you" in the last sentence is the Traveler):
I read that before the Golden Age, people only lived to 100 years old if they were lucky. And by then, they'd be so sick, they couldn't get out of bed!
Good thing you came along.
The Traveler probably did something to us innately by coming here and spreading its gifts and Light along with terraforming. Since the Traveler (paracausality) is involved, it's incredibly hard to say how this works. Most likely, this also affects Guardians that died back before the Golden Age. Since they're rezed now, in the time of the Traveler and are also personally imbued with Light, the extended life span probably still applies.
Advanced technology also definitely helped. We know that Clovis was basically being sustained with tape, hope and pig organs. He was also alive all the way until close to the Collapse, but it's also implied that he may have been alive before the Golden Age as well. How do we know? Well, the first ever Speaker, the one that existed before the Golden Age and was the first one chosen by the Traveler as a Speaker, noted:
The clinicians at BrayWell call it "interplanetary relocation maladjustment psychosis": a psychobabble catch-all for mental disturbances that they can't explain.
This was in response to the first time he got visions from the Traveler and nobody understood it. Apparently there was a "BrayWell," possibly some sort of medical establishment that was fully established and equipped to treat this person as soon as the Traveler arrived, which implies that the Bray brand existed before the Golden Age which would also imply that Clovis has been around that long.
This would possibly have him exceeding the 300 years limit, which isn't surprising given that he needed frequent organ transplants and was dying every other day back during his work on Europa. It was always sort of implied that he was exceptionally old then and falling apart. This is also why he wanted the Exo program to work as fast as possible.

as a secret fan of the trope “immortal being imprints on family but is initially 1 or more generations off from their actual Destined Romance in it, leading to tragic problems”, and an even bigger fan of relationships (romantic or otherwise) which are wildly awkward for everyone except the happy couple, I think it’d be great, actually, if:
Idril and Tuor decide to have another child at some point, really any time in the Second Age or later (just one, though—living in Aman is already kinda straining Tuor’s fëa; he’s fine, but parenting a half-elf is…a lot)
The Choice of Peredhil is innate, actually, though only for one generation out unless complicated by Maia blood. Their daughter (Name TBD) chooses to be an Elf with no hesitation—save 1 Man kept alive by dint of Ulmo being clingy a loyal friend and patron, everyone she knows are Elves, or Ainur! Why would she want to leave her family, friends and home?
Shortly after Maeglin gets out of Mandos (which takes longer than anyone in the family but the Fëanorians), they meet in circumstances wherein neither realizes who the other is, familially speaking, and nor does either introduce themselves properly
They almost just straight-up elope, but NameTBD Idriliel decides at the last moment that she really would like to introduce him to her parents first, and she to be introduced to his. Possibly all at once?
(Maeglin either genuinely thinks she knows who he is or by some contrivance fails to tell her between the proposal of this meeting and the meeting itself. Either way, he fully intends to introduce himself fully to her parents, and he has no intention of marrying this maiden whom he loves without her knowing his identity and dark first life.)
Absolutely nobody, including Maeglin, is adequately forewarned
Chaos ensues

i've said it before, i'll say it again ー while both of tamarack's grandparents easily clock in that tamarack and i have crushes on her from pretty much day 1 of seeing us interact together, it's her grandfather who sees it as much more serious than just 'puppy love'. dorothea thinks we'll grow out of it as we get older, not that she'd be against having me as a granddaughter-in-law but she is just more practical about these sorts of things
crushes come and go, ours probably will too
she eventually concedes that her husband was right the entire time

Sophia is very specifically Sicilian and a rural village girl so it's actually logical she would struggle to understand some Standard Italian! Sicilian is its own language and Sicilian Italian is its own regional dialect. I'm 95% the writers weren't thinking of this but it actually makes sense.
Anon, you anticipated me! That’s exactly my hypothesis on why Sophia doesn’t speak proper Italian. In some parts of Italy (especially in the South, or in rural regions) people still speak their dialect before they speak Italian, and prefer their local dialect to Italian in their everyday life. Nowadays everyone learns proper Italian in school, but especially back when Sophia lived in Sicily, she definitely would have spoken in her local dialect only!
Interestingly enough, though, most of the “Italian” expressions she uses aren’t actually Italian nor Sicilian in origin (or, when they are, they’re used incorrectly — see using the word abbondanza as an insult). I think this is where her status as an immigrant comes into play: I have to suppose those words and expressions are part of the (Brooklyn) Italian-American vernacular, and considering she’s been speaking that vernacular for most of her life, it’s not surprising that she defaults to it. I’m afraid I don’t know enough about Italian-American slang to properly verify that, though!

Away from the party, the sound is coming through muffled and yet, it all still feels so overwhelming to Flynn. He’s looking at them, even more desperate and confused than they usually make him feel, his heart beating so fast that he’s worried that they might be able to hear it, too. “All your friends are still here.” He tilts his head towards the inside, the belly of the beast. “I guess, I’m just wondering how much do they know,” he clears his throat and hopes it makes his voice steadier, “about us?” He, too, would like to know if such a thing even exists.

Thinking more about Cami deciding to kill Golden and Joy, I figured out a more concrete reason for her to snap.
So, Chapter 3: The motive this time are dark secrets. So, if nobody dies in... Let's say, two days, everyone's secrets are revealed. Of course many of the characters are talking about ways to deal with this, but Golden most importantly is freaking out inside.
See, for him to be the Ultimate Heir, his family's company would have to be one of, if not the most powerful company in the continent (possibly world). They have a massive amount of control over the government, and have used that to make themselves richer and screw over the competition. They have allowed extremely corrupt individuals in positions of power because it got them benefits, and have screw over people who wanted to make things better for the common folk because it inconvenienced them. And he's afraid that hearing all that, people will think the worst of him, and assume he endorses his family's actions.
He doesn't want to kill, though, so he needs to be prepared for that to be revealed. So, he goes to Cami -the therapist of the group- to see if she can give him some advice on how to deal with the possible fallout. Except my headcanon for Cami is that she's an orphan who grew up in foster care, and experienced first hand just how shitty it was. Her situation was never stable, there wasn't ever enough money to feed or clothe all the kids, the orphanages were understaffed to all hell... And hers was one of the better ones.
So when she puts together that the company Golden's family owns is the reason why nobody could ever pass laws to make things a little less bad for her, or why the prospect of giving social services more budget was always rejected... The idea of taking down that horrible company by murdering both of its possible heirs becomes appealing. Very appealing.
