Been a terrible almost 2 weeks for me because I’m still waiting for my insurance to untangle so I can have my scans. This is important as my scans are only every six months to see if the cancer has spread. December was my six month mark but with Christmas right around the corner I decided to wait Until January. And I was not having any symptoms. Not only do they use scans to see if the cancer has progressed but they also use pain. I definitely have quite a bit of pain in my spine but that’s for my surgery and it’s a different type of pain so I knew that wasn’t cancer. Cancer pain to the bones is an animal all into itself, there really is nothing like it. I naïvely thought that I would have my scans and the beginning of January and all my worries with dissipate. Unfortunately with me moving there was a hick-up in my insurance and it’s taken quite a bit longer to untangle than I thought it would. The problem with this is of course my mind is racing and completely taking me to places of severe anxiety. Now every ache and pain I have I think it’s cancer. I cannot begin to tell you how difficult this has been to wait patiently. Yesterday I was praying about this and I opened up my Bible app and of course there was the perfect verse for me. Maybe God is building my resilience��� Teaching me to be patient and to wait on Him. Worrying is not going to change your situation or help me at all I just have to calmly be patient and cross each bridge as I meet it with God’s help. #godsincharge #godisgood #patience #faith #faithingod #faithingodsplan #cancer #cancerwarrior #cancerlife #lifewithcancer (at Ladera Ranch Community)
