God does not want anyone to perish in their sins, He loved us enough that He would give His one and only Son Jesus, that whoever that places their faith in Him and humbly turns and repents from their sins will be saved! God made a way, now it’s our turn to receive it.

Don’t lose the opportunity of salvation if it is given by God as a free gift out of the richness of His love and grace

Casa Del Prado Theater. 1800 El Prado, San Diego, California. • Balboa Park is one of my favourite places to visit in San Diego. • The El Prado Complex, in which the Casa Del Prado Theater belongs, is a historic district in Balboa Park in San Diego, California. The 13-acre (5.3 hectare) complex includes 13 contributing buildings and one contributing structure. Most of the structures were built for San Diego’s Panama-California Exposition of 1915–16 and were refurbished and re-used for the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935–36. The original architects were Bertram Goodhue and Carleton Winslow who designed them in the architectural style Mission Revival, Spanish Baroque. The area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. I was baptized this Easter Sunday (2022). I was delaying, putting it off because I have time, right? That’s what I hear a lot of time. Having time wasn’t necessarily my issue. My issue was mustering up enough courage to make myself vulnerable to my Paster and church community. I’ve always been the quiet church goer, in and out as unnoticed as possible. Well, I did it! I reached out and set baptism on 4/17/22 in motion! Glory to God that he put it on my heart so much that I couldn’t hide anymore. Easter Sunday service and the 10, yes 10, baptisms that followed were astounding. Pastor’s message, the testimony, and a cram packed house made for such an impactful service. Praise rang out, tears flowed, and God was surely moving in that place. Sunday afternoon, I received a message thanking me for my bravery. I was told that if it wasn’t for my actions, they may have never had the courage to go forth with their baptism. As I was laying in bed , I realized that it wasn’t me. God did that!! HE USED ME! Man, does that feel crazy good. The word “used” tends to drag along negative connotation but the Lord “uses” us to reach others, to spread the gospel, and so much more. I was used by Lord God Almighty and I am in awe! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL THING! 💛

Details from my recent visit to the Hotel del Coronado - an historic beachfront hotel in the city of Coronado, just across the San Diego Bay from San Diego, California. Built in 1887, with it’s grand opening February 19, 1888. It is one of the few surviving examples of an American architectural genre: the wooden Victorian beach resort. It is the second largest wooden structure in the United States (after the Tillamook Air Museum in Tillamook, Oregon) and was designated a California Historical Landmark in 1970 and a National Historic Landmark in 1977. L. Frank Baum, author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, did much of his writing at the hotel.
