Tumblr media
3) An-Her/An-Hur/Inheret (Onuris)
Tumblr media

I just came back from a week and a half long vacation to New Orleans and the Caribbean. Before I left I reached out to Isis, Artemis, Apollo, Hermes, Bast, the Universe, and all of my guides to help keep myself and my family safe from the heat.
Thankfully, everyone had a great time and no one had too much trouble with the ridiculous temps!
So now it is time to give thanks and offerings for those who kept an eye out for us.

altars for kemetic/egyptian gods
hi yall, another purely based in UPG, new agey post! historically, deity offerings for the ancient egyptians often took the form of art/sculpture/hymns, incense (like frankincense or myrrh), or offerings of food (especially meat and bread) and drink (wine/ale, mostly). dialogue with the gods was often facilitated through the pharaohs or funerary rites, but your average person had access to daily magic and regular temples as well.

The beauty of Bastet is in a fit of laughter with people who are dear to us
The beauty of Bastet is in our interest to keep our home clean
The beauty of Bastet is in the success of music with our instrument
The beauty of Bastet is in a tender cuddle with our cat
The beauty of Bastet is confidence and love for oneself, without the need to put others down
The beauty of Bastet is in the healing of our trauma.
The beauty of Bastet is in observing the moon
The beauty of Bastet is sunbathing
The beauty of Bastet is the warmth in our homes.

I found this picture in Pinterest
Bastet is one of the goddesses I pray to and work with. She has an important place in the spiritual family.
(My beliefs come from spiritual syncretism so don't take that literally for your practice and spare me your opinions on my beliefs)
I love her so much that I wanted to make a post for her with some little thing that I bring back to her.
Be blessed.
