Ok, I don’t know why I came up with this. But I think this is kinda funny because I’m literally obsessed with seiyuus, sooo...why not, lol? I still can’t believe Vanitas (and Riddle from TW) shares the same voice actor as Milo (AFTER THE CONFESSION OF THE LAST EPISODE THIS CONNECTION ACQUIRED A TOTALLY DIFFERENT MEANING) and I can’t stop thinking about the fact that they’re both doctors with blue eyes ahaha. BUT. BUT BUT BUT...RYU IS ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LEVEL. Dear Hanae-kun...are you sure you’re ok? Yes? I’m kinda worried (and still shocked by the discovery, ngl) Saito Soma...He’s a king. Honestly. I LOVE HIM AND HIS VOICE. He has such a sexy yet sarcastic way of dubbing... I’m in love with his voice. AND I’M STILL OBSESSED WITH THE FACT THAT HE DUBS MIYANO WHEN SASAKI IS LITERALLY DUBBED BY RAMUDA FROM HYPNOSIS MIC. I can’t help but laugh because...you know...Gentaro and Ramuda...no no no no... chottomatte...this is SO ABSURD AHAHAH (If you know the relationship between them in Hm you can understand me).
TASUKU HATANAKA IS ONE OF THE BEST SEIYUUS I’VE EVER INTERACTED WITH. Seriously. Go and listen some of the Akkan Yatsura’s songs because he’s truly AMAZING, GUYS.
MAKOTO FURUKAWA!!!! I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE WE CAN FINALLY LISTEN TO HIM RAPPING. OH YEAH. Ty sm, Paradox Live. THANK YOU. This man...His voice... The way he says “...Ange“... Ooooh my God. Love him with all my might.
But can we talk about the fact that we can hear Aomine (or Sukuna, as you prefer) and Kuroko challenging into a rap battle???? Can we talk about this?? MH? Todou rapping....this is a picture that will hardly disappear from my mind. Subaru is incredible. Last but not least of my pseudo-clarifications on this trash post is that we can have LANGA vs REKI and Moriarty vs Sherlock in Paradox Live battles. This is amazing, guys. I can't get over this kind of things. [now i’m gonna pray to have Yuichi Nakamura and Kenjiro Tsuda involved into this beautiful rap world asap]

Happy AoKaga Day!
I’m writing a fic as well that I will be posting at a later date, but I thought I’ll make my AoKaga fic masterlist as well. In case you guys don’t know, I’m an author as well on AO3 under the same username! This will be sorted from longest to shortest.
Erasing The You of Now Word count: 238,284+ Status: Completed, bonus chapters are still being released Rating: R18 AU: Touou!Kagami Summary: Whenever Kagami's red and Aomine's blue meets, explosive magic happens. It's not always a sight to behold, but they are learning in hope that perhaps one day, they will create firework.
King and Lionheart Word count: 40,734+ Status: Ongoing Rating: M AU: Fantasy Summary: It's no secret that in every kingdom, there exists a decrepit part that mars its beauty. Everyone turns a blind eye when it comes to slavery and Taiga wishes he can do something about it. Unfortunately, for his birthday, his dad bought him a slave. Damn it.
Keep Your Eyes on Me Word count: 36,668 Status: Completed Rating: R18 AU: Camboy!Kagami Summary: Sick of being broke, Kagami kickstarts his career as a camboy. He has no idea what he's doing, so he turns to the camgirl fanatic Aomine for tips on how to be a successful cammer. Of course, he's "asking for a friend", but Aomine is too stupid to see through the lie.
Welcome Home Word count: 33,419 Status: Completed Rating: T AU: Amnesiac!Aomine Summary: Kagami wanted to forget about the stupid fight five years ago that made him lose his best friend, rival and part-time lover. They were just bratty kids with too much pride, after all. Aomine took it a bit too literally.
KnB Kinktober 2020 Word count: 8,158+ Status: Hiatus Rating: R18 AU: Various Summary: Late submission for Kinktober. I'll be doing all 31 days with various pairings but mostly AoKagaAo centric.
The Overpowered Fighter Word count: 6,969 Status: Completed Rating: R18 AU: Sort of isekai Summary: Kagami can't stand Aomine's guts. But Panther? Panther is great. 11/10 would marry. Chef's kiss. Perfection. AKA the kinda-maybe-not-really-isekai AU that no one asked for.
The Way to a Man’s Heart Word count: 6,915 Status: Completed Rating: T AU: Chef!Kagami, police!Aomine Summary: There's a new shop that opens near Aomine's place and by god, the food is amazing. He came for the food and he stays because of... the food. And maybe the pretty redheaded shopkeeper too, but mostly the food.
1 AM Word count: 4,085 Status: Completed Rating: T AU: Fireman!Kagami, police!Aomine Summary: Their love story begins with silence. Then that silence blooms into something more.
Four Steps of Drunkenness Word count: 3,532 Status: Completed Rating: T AU: Future Summary: Whenever Kagami's red and Aomine's blue meets, explosive magic happens. It's not always a sight to behold, but they are learning in hope that perhaps one day, they will create firework.
How to Woo Aomine Daiki Word count: 3,314 Status: Completed Rating: R18 AU: Future Summary: Step 1: Play hard to get Step 2: Fail, apparently Step 3: Try to salvage it somehow
With Extra Sausage Word count: 2,990 Status: Completed Rating: R18 AU: Future, pizza delivery man!Aomine Summary: "I—" Hiccup. "Changed my mind. I'd like a tall, smoking hot beefcake to go, please." Aomine gaped at the weirdo incredulously. AKA Pizza delivery man Aomine and that drunken customer Kagami.
Messy Eater Word count: 2,098 Status: Completed Rating: R18 AU: Future Summary: Sometimes Aomine just wants to torture Kagami.
Bottled Sunshine Word count: 1,576 Status: Completed Rating: PG13 AU: N/A Summary: Aomine is addicted to Kagami's smile.
Well, that was unexpected Word count: 1,526 Status: Completed Rating: R18 AU: Future Summary: How was Kagami supposed to know that his boyfriend loved being treated like shit?

kiridai, haizaki + akashi seijuro II
part one here
For a moment, Akashi wonders whether he’s hallucinating.
Of course, he’s in perfect condition - both physical and mental - and this mirage can’t be one inspired by desire either. If that were the case, if it were some bizarre manifestation of his missing Teikō, he’d be imagining Kuroko or Midorima instead. Maybe even Aomine, though that’s a stretch.
He certainly wouldn’t have conjured up the Haizaki Shougo by choice.
“Oi, Akashi, long time no see!”
His fellow first year is leaning against the lockers, just a few strides ahead of Akashi, adorning a black hoodie over the issued white Kirisaki Daiichi shirt, first few holes unbuttoned and tie undone.
“Haizaki.”
Why Haizaki’s attending a school for the very rich, for those with power and success foretold in their futures, when he’s neither of those categories, Akashi doesn’t know. It’s hard to come up with a good guess either. All Akashi can think of right now is that, of all people he’s ever met in his life, Haizaki’s the last he would have ever liked to meet again (let alone go to the same school with, for the second time in a row), and that he’ll be late to his next class, if he dignifies Haizaki with a response longer than one word.
Unfortunately, it seems Haizaki has other plans.
“A little bird told me,” grins Haizaki, stepping in front of Akashi, and side-stepping when Akashi does. His face is inches away from the redhead’s face, as his tongue darts out over his thumb, “that you’ve not been able to join the basketball team here. Guess they were looking for a skilled team player, and you couldn’t fill the requirements, huh?”
“Enough, Shougo. I don’t have the time to entertain you.”
Akashi pushes against Haizaki’s shoulder, trying to get past. Haizaki pushes back.
“To think you kicked me out of the team - and now look at you.”
“Good. Bye. Shougo.”
“Three years here, and you’re not going to play basketball for any of them. Better start coming up with excuses to not play with your miracle buddies. They’re all going to have way surpassed you as players by the time we graduate.”
Akashi’s faintly aware of his shoulders shivering, as he glowers at Haizaki.
“Watch your tone,” he snarls.
For a second, Haizaki looks a little unnerved, as if he’s instinctually reverted back to the days Akashi was his captain. But the emotion soon passes. All that follows is a smug grin that haunts Akashi for the rest of the day.
It’s the disrespect; that’s what Akashi can’t handle.
The mere concept that some arrogant fool like Haizaki, who’s never worked for anything in his life, could have been handed a place on the first string on a plate, just because someone somewhere (Hanamiya) has such fun meddling with people’s lives.
*****
If Akashi had ever liked Haizaki at all, had ever held a single non-negative emotion towards the guy, he soon loses it. The boy's like a kanji whose definition you search up once, and now you’re seeing it everywhere you go. For weeks, Akashi hadn’t known Haizaki was a member of the same school. Yet now they've been bumping into each other every day. And, every time, Haizaki’s got trainers on, or a basketball in his hands - if he had had half as much an enthusiasm for the sport during middle school, then maybe he would have been able to continue as a member on the team - and he meets Akashi’s gaze to smirk, as the ball spins on his finger.
The time he once spent playing basketball, Akashi now spends riding, working on additional homework, studying Shogi tactics, and searching up Hanamiya’s name. The second year’s eyes tease him from within his computer screen, as he carefully reads through all the information on the Uncrowned Kings - searching for anything that he could possibly use against Hanamiya, since he’s already understood that this is an opponent he can’t face without preparation. But all he learns is that Hanamiya played ball with Imayoshi in middle school, that their team was expectedly successful, and that he won some university level prize for chemistry last year.
That, and (from a blog on the third page of Google results, by some kid who faced the Kirisaki Daichi basketball team last year): “I used to like superhero movies. I liked how predictable they were - that you could always bet on the hero being stronger than the villain. But now I’ve faced that fucker Hanamiya, I don’t know about that anymore. He’s the shittiest piece of shit I’ve ever met, and, not only does he get away with it, but also he completely defeated against my senpais, who’d spent years training for that moment. It’s like he’s sent from hell.”
It’s with this blog in mind, that Akashi, with his newly acquired position as student council head, decides to forgo fighting with Hanamiya face-to-face, to make the matter political instead. That’s one angle he knows he can succeed at; it's what his father trained him for.
He's superior to Hanamiya - by far. He's a born talent, and he'll know nothing but success in his life, once he's sorted out the second year. Hanamiya's nothing but a cheap bully in comparison.
*****
“Finally,” Akashi announces, towards the end of the student council meeting, sat with his back straight, “I’m concerned about the basketball team.”
There’s a collective sigh to varying degrees, by the other members of the committee. One girl slips the boy beside her a 10,000 yen banknote, as he rolls his eyes.
“Look, Akashi, you’ve not been here long,” begins the 3rd year Vice President, adjusting his glasses, “but I’ll save you the trouble of wasting your time with this. If you’ve got a problem with them; well, no, you don’t.”
“I’m not sure I understand,” replies Akashi, who knows damn well what’s going on, but who wants to hear it admitted by these buffoons who have let Hanamiya run free across the school.
The student council has spent so many hours of their week sat in this room of mahogany chairs with plush purple seats, with the large, arch-shaped windows which overlook the campus grounds: mostly the golf course, but with the indoor gyms in the corner, where the Kirisaki Daichi basketball team is no doubt messing around as Akashi speaks (why would they bother practicing if all they do is injure opponents?) And thus student council enjoys many privileges too, which one would only deserve if they were keeping the school in order - but that's something which they lost all hope in managing, the minute Hanamiya stepped onto this campus unchained.
“We don’t get involved with Hanamiya, or anything he does, or any troubles he might have allegedly cause. Ergo, we don’t get involved with any of the rest of them either.”
“The headmaster-“
“The headmaster’s an old friend of the Yamazaki family’s. Even if he wasn’t, he loves Seto and Hanamiya - they’re the type that's guaranteed to get into Tōdai and become very powerful in the future - he's always indulging in them. You know, in the past, we only had a sports scholarship for golf, but this year, Hanamiya claimed he had to have one for basketball, something about a talented player who couldn't afford the school fees. So it was up to us to factor that into the school's budget, because God forbid someone goes against Hanamiya. You can do whatever you want as student council president - we all know you're more than qualified for the position - but just leave Hanamiya be.”
Fighting his inner rage at the sheer ridiculousness of the situation, Akashi exhales slowly. How can favouritism be so blatant? How can a couple kids with better opportunities than others have so much power?
And, worse, everyone’s starting to get up already, undermining his own power as the president. Like they think this meeting’s over.
“Haizaki Shougo has injured teammates in the past.” Akashi adds quickly, “it’s not in the school’s interests to allow him to represent us.”
The girl that had been sat opposite Akashi - the editor-in-chief of the school’s magazine - slips her backpack onto her back, as she asks, “has he injured anyone here?”
“He very well might have.”
“Then take it up with the discipline council.”
Akashi allows a thin smile to form across his lips. Hope. Potential for at least one ally against the Kiridai team.
“Who’s the head of the discipline council?”
“Hanamiya.” When the Vice President looks at Akashi, there’s genuine pity in his eyes. “With all due respect, I think you should give this up.”
******
As Akashi makes his way through the school grounds, to where a chauffeur should be waiting to drive him home, he stops briefly by the flower beds by the entrance to the main building. They’re being tended by a tall man, with dark hair, and darker eyes, but his movements are gentle as he sprinkles root powder onto the soil under the rose bush.
If only, thinks Akashi (watching the stranger, hoping the splendid colours of the flowers might lower his blood pressure enough to not explode at his father this evening), his school life could be so simple. How nice would it be for his only responsibilities to constitute of some gardening here and there, in a world where useless bureaucrats, Hanamiya, and (by default) the basketball team, didn’t exist.
But even this dream is quickly shattered.
“Furuhashi!” yells a pink-head obnoxiously, with a basketball jersey loose around his torso. He's accompanied by the second year who had led Akashi to the gym on that fateful first day, “you seriously ditched us just for your roses? We’ve had to scour the whole campus looking for you - Hanamiya didn’t want us to leave without you, but, man, between you and post-practice udon-”
“You've known me this many years, Hara,” replies Furuhashi, standing up slowly, “and you really didn’t to check whether I was by the flowerbeds first?”
Only now does Furuhashi see Akashi. They stare at each other for a long moment - Akashi with nothing but disappointment in his eyes, and Furuhashi clearly wondering why a stranger looks so disgruntled with his existence - until Hara interrupts.
“Oh hey, Akashi,” he grins, “you wouldn’t be standing there, hoping we’d invite you to join us, would you? Alas, only the first string’s allowed on these outings. But, if you wipe down the court, then I might just put in a good word for you.”
The man beside him chuckles. Furuhashi rolls his eyes, and wipes the remnants of soil of his trousers.
Akashi walks off without looking back once. He walks so fast he’s practically jogging. The more he hears of the pink-head’s voice, the more he thinks of Kise, or of all the Teikō team and of the times they spent together, post-practice, whilst now they’re spread across the country, whilst he’s stuck at a school with Haizaki and Hanamiya, because his father is so convinced his son will become a politician.
“I see you’re not on the basketball team anymore,” says the man that evening. His are the only words said over dinner; Akashi doesn’t trust himself to open his mouth. “Good. You should join the golf club instead; the prime minister’s son’s an alumni of theirs.”
In the night, Akashi dreams that he’s in an exam hall, but he can’t understand any of the questions in the test before him, and he’s not got a pen with him either. Feeling nauseous, he raises a hand, and the teacher lets him leave to the toilet - but with a distrustful glimpse in her eye, like she thinks he’s just a cheat. When he stands up, his belt snaps. Forced to hold his trousers in place himself, he runs all the way to the school bathrooms, but, when he finally finds a stall available, the lock on the front is broken, and Hanamiya’s filming him with a grin.
He wakes at 2am, yet can’t fall back asleep. Instead, he decides to search up the meaning of the dream, before shortly closing his computer again after all that comes up is insinuations of stress, fear, and cowardice. What’s worse is that it’s possible. He might be stressed. He might even be nervous.
At 3am, he finds himself watching a recording of Kirisaki Daichi’s match with Seirin last year. And, maybe it’s just the delirium of only having slept a couple hours, but, when the pixelated Hanamiya snaps his fingers and Seirin’s centre is moved out of the court on a stretcher shortly after, Akashi shivers.
He feels feverish, sick and cold at the same time, and yet he plays the match on repeat till 7am comes around, and it’s time to prepare for school.
*****
Hanamiya grins when he sees Akashi - and his rumpled shirt, and the dark circles under his eyes - during lunch.
“I hear you’re student president now,” he says, as he wraps his arm around the first year’s shoulders, close enough that Akashi can see the redness of the captain's knuckles, remnants from the previous student he dealt with.
Around them, students cast quick looks at the duo as they walk past. They gaze at Hanamiya with curiosity and thinly veiled worry, and at Akashi with nothing more than sympathy. He’s never felt more humiliated.
At last, glaring and making sure his voice retains a cutting edge, Akashi replies, “I am.”
“Well I don’t know if you know, but I actually run the discipline committee,” Hanamiya’s voice is practically singing, as he gives Akashi's arm a squeeze, “so if you ever have a problem with anyone, if anyone’s ever bothering you, just let me know. I’ll soon sort them out for you.”
Akashi clenches his fist, stares down at the ground. Bitter, bitter rage rises within him, but stronger is the sense of defeat. His heart tells him to apologise - for anything at all, just to get this man off his back - though he refuses to allow himself to sink so low. Better, he knows, would be to leave before he says something he’ll regret.
And, as he walks away, he hears Hanamiya’s voice behind him - “I look forward to working with you, Sei!” - and the words ring in his head for the rest of the day, like a threat.
He understands now, if nothing else, what the captain means, when he talks about ‘trash’.
****
authors notes:
if the above fic is unreadable, it’s because i was up researching akashi at 4am, and then spent 5am onwards writing and editing this. lowkey, i really enjoyed writing this! in particular, putting the work in to write the point of view of a character i’ve written so little for in the past, was a lot of fun, and, more so, trying to fit in little canon details about akashi into this fic too. (he comes off a bit of a patronising twat in the manga/anime, but, man, there’s a whole to be uncovered between the lines). so, hopefully, if any of y’all are akashi fans, you won’t notice too many ooc aspects in this :D
also, i'd like to dedicate these odd 2.2k words to @dust-of-fandoms and @thecrimsonacademic ! your enthusiasm towards this au really motivated me, so i hope you like this addition to the first part :)

Alright alright alright alright it's tiiiiiiime. Always wanted to rank the super powers in KnB so now imma do that.
Disclaimer, this won't be about the characters themselves or their attributes, strictly just the skills. If I rank a players skill above another that doesn't necessarily mean I think X character is stronger than Y character or anything this is just signature skill. Also i have watched KnB at least 8 times, and the movie at least three times so if I mess up someone's ability roast me I deserve it.
Now enough nonsense let's do it
#8 Kagami's Super Jumps
Okay don't get me wrong dunking is the coolest move in basketball, but kagami had so many cooler areas of his game that turning him into a dunk beast by the end of the series really takes away his amazing style. Also he says he wants to fight in the air and midorima points out "it doesn't matter how high you jump I know where you're coming and what you're doing" like super hops are great and all but he should've used it for enhancing his other moves.
(Meteor Jam is sick as hell though, ngl)
#7 Aomine Daiki's Formless Shot
Okay, this ability is not bad. It's low mostly because Aomine doesn't use it/need it. He's shown to be so powerful that this is kinda just him fucking around to troll his opponents, which don't get me wrong style points are real, but this is for sure aomine's weakest ability
However it is sooooo deadly, it's powerful but Formless Shot vs. Forced Zone Activation? Yeah don't lie you know which one is way scarier.
#6 Murasakibara Perfect Defense.
Yeah that's right defense is fucking sick. You wish you could defend half as nice as murasakibara. This dude literally fought an uncrowned king, the phantom sixth man, and a runner up generation of miracles candidate on his own at the same time. And only lost to some invisible shots. He covers EVERYTHING!!! if you don't got that DEEP deep range you do not get to play. Do not pass go, do not collect $200, say hello to dikembe mutombo on your way to the bench.
#5 all the dojutsu, yeah that's right I'm naming all the eyes (Emperors, Eagle, Hawk, whatever Nash had) dojutsu. In fact I'm naming Emperors eye Byaku-Shar-Rinne-gan and you cannot stop me. And even though the eye tier list is easy to figure out, the ability to see the whole court is fantastic and any point guard with that level of awareness is deadly. The secondary abilities granted I count as skills not as baseline super powers, i.e. killer handles from akashi (which Kise uses), or seeing a perfect back tip steal opportunity with eagle eye so those aren't on the list. And I think each eye is strong enough to warrant putting them all together here
Now to break the established rule
#4 Kuroko's Phantom series AND God Passes
Yeah that's right, I'm putting techniques in a list I specifically made to not talk about techniques, bite me. Ignite series is top tier, misdirection and misdirection overflow are god tier (yeah so he can use it once, big deal, it's still god tier) and the phantom series are just too fun. If I had to pick one ability from kuroko though for this list purpose, his misdirection is his ability. Yeah it can't be spammed and without it he's nearly useless but ill take a player who can take charges and force opposing players into foul trouble over a ball hog any day.
#3 Midorima Shintaro - High Arcing Three
Okay here's the thing Midorima Shintaro High Arcing Three is a dumb name and I'm mad that I'm placing it this high up on the list but. Objectively. 3>2. So yeah, take your spot with pride green boy. Yeah that's right, I think it's a neat ability but I didn't think it should be this high up, until you sit down and realize yeah cool your sick ass hops and your full paint and midrange defense and your handles are all well and good. But you're getting two points while I get three from anywhere. And don't lie seeing that mid air catch and shoot was the absolute SICKEST thing ever. Akashi liked it so much he straight up STOLE it. Sure dunks are hype but that is the most SKILLFUL thing ever shown. Now to the toppest of top tiers.
#3 Aomine Daiki Forced Zone Activation
Golly Gee Willickers Dai-chan how come your mom let's you have two basketball superpowers. Okay I hate to say it Zone is cool but it sucks that it becomes pretty much required by the end of the series to stay relevant. That being said, Aomine can activate it whenever and that's insane. If Aomine continued training, you realize he'd be nearly if not entirely unstoppable except by arguably only one character in the series
Two if you think Akashi with his eyes could beat Aomine (yeah he beat Kagami's zone, but Akashi even considered Aomine the strongest at teiko, so if aomine stayed serious he'd be even more of an untouchable monster)
#2 Shogo Haizaki - Steal
Okay okay okay okay okay, yes. Technically I'm putting kise twice. Honestly steal is to copy what red eyes is to blue eyes in yugioh. Steal has so much POTENTIAL to be the strongest ability in the entire show. Being able to take the opponents moves away would cripple many players. If Haizaki trained hard he may have even discovered perfect Steal so he could stop the Generation of Miracles techniques, the only two who wouldn't have an issue would be aomine (because technically Formless shot can't really be stolen, he can just do a Formless shot from a different form and just yeah) and Kise (I think kise had more techniques in his toolbox, and that he was too scared to try those moves against haizaki because he was nervous at seeing Steal for the first time). Steal is busted but it has nothing against number one.
#1 Kise Ryota's Copy and PERFECT COPY
Copy is actually insane, while he can't shut down the ability to use a move like Haizaki, being able to do your move but better is probably just as good. Yeah you can use that dunk on me, and yeah you might know how to defend against your move, but im faster stronger and smarter than you. Kise literally just "I am Kakashi of the Sharingan I know 10000 jutsu" nah son I'm Kise Ryota of the musically gifted (love eagleburger) and I know all the basketball moves.
And PERFECT COPY, duuuuuude if you don't think perfect COPY is the best ability in KnB you're actually just not smart. When Kise with perfect copy was THE ACE on a team MADE OF ALL THE ACES, yeah you just straight up win with that ability. Also kise didn't even use it to its max ability, yeah he copies the generation of miracles but they say that he removes the limits of his normal copy so now he can copy anybody. Yeah it takes a huge toll on his body but kise could copy NBA players (likely for even less time than normal perfect copy) if he really wanted to. So yeah, Kise is dumb strong.
That's it, that's my list. Bye.

Can I request hcs how would gom+kagami+himuro react during their gf's first time doing 'the do' ? How would they treat their s/o? 😳🤭if that's too much characters feel free to write the ones you want !!) thank you!!
I already kinda did kagami when i wrote his dating headcanons so i’m just gonna skip him
GOM+ Himuro being their s/o’s first time:
Akashi:
He found out on the spot
Straight up between your legs making out with you, things are getting hot.. and THAT’s when you decide to tell him you’re a virgin
Thankfully he’s well aware of what to do, just teeny bit annoyed cause he could’ve at least brought lube
Will prep you like his life depends on and we all know akashi never does anything half-assed
Experience wise? Doesn’t have much. But he knows what he’s doing
Will take it slow and practically make an evening of it, he mainly studies your expressions to know if he should move or not
Is very proud to be your first, it means alot to him
especially since i see akashi as more of a date for marriage type
Will draw you a bath for aftercare and even ask your preferences for salts and scents
Bitch you’re getting fucked lavishly
Midorima:
Tell him before , do NOT catch him off guard
Studies it
I’m not even joking , he studies it
Even went as far as looking into kama sutra
Probably is a virgin as well , not that he cant get any?? He’s just not into flings and is picky with dating
Wants to ask takao since he has more experience but also doesn’t wanna let takao tease him so he just keeps staring at him angrily
Took a looooong while for midorima to finally ask him and thank god the latter didn’t laugh
Just chuckled and gave him pointers on what to do and NOT to do on their first time
“I suggest keeping it simple and slow, don’t try to experiment too much on your first time, i’d say avoid kink/fetishes till you’re more comfortable with eachother”
Surprisingly takao was very mature with his explanations but midorima still cant help but blush
When it was time to do the DO, baby was very slow and careful
Will probably be worried if you seem like you’re in pain even though he took his time to prep you and used plenty of lube
So both of you will need to reassure eachother
Over all a very wholesome experience, will clean you up, hold you close kissing your forehead and ask if you’re okay before drifting into much needed sleep
Murasakibara:
Probably asked you if you’re a virgin as soon as you got comfortable in the relationship
Definitely fucked before but he cares about you so he’ll just do a quick double check on the way back from school with tatsuya
Knows he’s fucking big and that he needs to take it slow
King of oral lemme just say it
Will eat you out until you have to ask him to pull
“I think we should do this more often”with your juices on his chin
Gives you a break to catch your breath before starting to penetrate
He loves how you hold on to his biceps
Very fucking observant, he almost bottoms out instantly when your expression changes from pain to bliss
Absolutely enjoying every single second of it
Is the type to kiss you while thrusting into you because he just cant get enough of your lips
Cleans you up after and sleeps holding your waist with his head against your stomach
Aomine:
DEFINITELY fucked before
Many times
In other words, boy is experienced and he knows what he’s doing
Asked you if you were a virgin by the second date
Wasn’t into doing it with virgins because he has to hold back and take it slow but .. found himself being so turned in by the thought of being your first
Is determined to not use lube but brings a bottle... just incase
The amount of times you came on his fingers or mouth???
Honestly you probably did that so many times but today.. is the day.. ya get deflowered if you catch my drift
Usually have a tit for tat rule , as in if he gives you oral you give him oral and vice versa
But today he said it’s all about you with the softest smirk before kissing you deeply and ma’am, your toes curled
And he was NOT lying
You never even thought aomine could be that gentle
Takes his time, lets you adjust and kisses you to distract you from the pain
Goes slow at first and gets excited when you ask him to go faster but he still won’t go at a 100%.. that’s for next time
Tells you that you’re fucking beautiful and that you were made for him
You cum together and both of you fucking loved it
Carried you into the shower with him and if you feel like it.. hey round 2
Kise:
He’s a model so let’s not pretend he didn’t have some flings here and there
Not as experienced as aomine but definitely knows what he’s doing
Never actually asked, you just brought it up one time
He feels very special to be your first
Honestly this boy is definitely a romantic
Will kiss every inch on your skin while telling you how gorgeous you are and how lucky he is
Literally looks in love
Loves it when you grip his hair while he’s going down on you and when you cum he leaves a little peck on your clit before going back to kissing you
Holds and caresses you thighs while penetrating you
Asks you if you’re alright and if he should move
Eye contact when he’s not kissing your lips, your jaw, your neck
Surprises you with a gentle spank and squeeze on your butt
Would prefer to relax with you in a bath but if he’s feeling tired, you’ll take a quick shower together, and nap right after while holding you close
Kuroko:
Is a virgin
Let’s not even deny it you’re obviously his first
You’re both honest with eachother so you knew pretty early
Reads some books to have an idea on what to do but doesn’t go crazy into research
Doesn’t ask anyone or talk about it
It’s a private matter and he’s a private guy
Encourages both of you to explore and experiment, i mean you’re both newbies and he sees no shame in that
He’s rather excited to learn and discover with you
Asks you to not hold back on being vocal as it will let him know what he’s doing right
He’s surprisingly vocal as well
Just lots of caresses and slow movements but so passionate
Honestly you practically cancelled all plans and made a day of it
Tries SO many things
And the boy is kinkyyyyy but you love it
Will clean up and hold you against his chest, brushing his fingers in your hair until both of you drift to sleep
Himuro:
Boy gets fan letters day and night
So i’m just gonna take a wild guess and say he definitely fucked
Mainly when he was frustrated to be honest with you
When he starts dating you and finds out you’re a virgin, he gets this weird possessive side popping up
Too happy that he’s your first
When he gets too arrogant you tease him by saying maybe you’ll have someone else pop the cherry and his ego deflates
“Yeah maybe kagami would do the trick-“ “ now wait a damn minute”
Definitely had non-penetrative sex many times
Like when you tease him he feels the need to prove himself and thats how you find yourself in the locker room against the wall with one leg slung over his shoulder and his head disappearing under your skirt
You didn’t set a date or plan for it to happen , it just did
Like one day you were in his room fooling around and asked him to take you
God he almost came right then and there when he heard you
Kisses you deeply while penetrating and whispers small encouragements while pushing into you
Like “ you’re doing so great baby, almost there.. just a bit more”
You barely cought your breath after orgasming before pushing yourself on his lap to his surprise
Kissing your shoulder while you ride him and encouraging you while holding your butt and helping you move, meeting your thrusts to get you close because he knows how tiring it can be the first time
When you’re done you just stay in his lap while his dick goes limp in you, slowly kissing before you push his hair back and smile
“You’re so beautiful”
His breath actually hitched in his throat
He was just so love struck and knew he never wanted to leave your side

Long ago, Egypt was ruled by Pharaoh Akashi and his Court of Miracles, the most powerful magicians in all the land. They each possessed one of the Millennium Items, which granted their bearers the great and terrible power of the Shadow Games. However, the Millennium Items and their power was cursed; they were the beginning of the ritual for summoning the dark god Zorc, who came to possess the Pharaoh. To save the world, the weakest of the Miracles sealed them all inside the Millennium Items, where they have been dormant for centuries…
In the modern day, the Shadow Games have been reinvented as the trading card game Duel Monsters, and the Millennium Items have found their way into the hands of young basketball players duelists who have awakened the spirits within. The spirits in each of the Millennium Items have the ability to take over the body of their host and, while in control, they can use some of their former power to perform impossible feats of basketball.
The cast:
Takao Kazunari actually plays trading card games as a hobby and serves as the bridge between the basketball players and the world of Duel Monsters. He ends up with the Millennium Ring (an actual ring, to be worn on one’s finger), which contains the spirit of High Priest Midorima.
Kagami Taiga wonders why they can’t just save the world by playing basketball. He has the Millennium Bracelet, which contains the soul of the weakest of the Miracles, Kuroko.
Kasamatsu Yukio has the Millennium Earing (he refuses to get his ears pierced and instead wears it on a chain around his neck), which contains the soul of recently appointed Chief Spymaster Kise.
Former Chief Spymaster Haizaki, was driven mad by the power of the Millennium Items, and turned on the Pharaoh.
Himuro Tatsuya has the Millennium Comb, which contains the soul of General Muraskaibara.
Mayuzumi Chihiro has the Millennium Eye, which contains the corrupted Pharaoh Akashi. Initially Mayuzumi is stubborn and tries to fight back, but gradually Akashi and Zorc drain him away, until he’s almost an empty shell.
Seto Kaiba, teenaged CEO of the game company Kaiba Corp. He starts off with the Millennium Stylus, containing the soul of the Pharaoh’s Chief Advisor Momoi, and the Millennium Armband, which contains the soul of General Aomine.
The story:
Takao, Kagami, and Kasamatsu meet at the Interhigh tournament and discover that they all possess Millennium Items, which contain the souls of Ancient Egyptian sorcerers. The spirits claim not to remember anything about the Millennium Items or how they became imprisoned within.
Takao convinces Kagami and Kasamatsu to sneak away with him to the Duelist Kingdom Duel Monsters Tournament, where Takao’s friend Yugi Muto is competing. They want to meet the inventor of Duel Monsters, Maximillian Pegasus, who wants the Millennium Items for some unknown purpose, in the hopes that he knows something about them.
At the tournament, they run into Seto Kaiba and his younger brother, Mokuba. Pegasus takes their Millennium Stylus (Momoi) and Millennium Armband (Aomine) and they must be rescued by Kagami and Kuroko.
After the Duelist Kingdom Tournament, the Miracles and their vessels return to basketball for the Winter Cup, where they discover that Himuro and Mayuzumi also have Millennium Items possessed by Ancient Egyptian spirits.
Now that everyone is together, Kuroko challenges the rest of the Court of Miracles to a final Shadow Game, which takes place in a facsimile of their lives in Ancient Egypt, where Kuroko takes on the role of the Thief King, trying to steal the Millennium Items and summon Zorc, and it is up to the Pharaoh and his advisors to defeat him and save the world once and for all.
However, this is not truly what happened in the past and the Miracles’ guilt threatens to destroy them. Only with the help of their modern-day vessels are the Miracles truly able to redeem themselves and defeat Zorc.
In truth, the Millennium Items were created in a bloodthirsty ritual, which required the sacrifice of an entire village - the pharaoh chose the thieves’ village of Kul Elna. It was Pharaoh Akashi who ordered the creation of the Millennium Items and High Priest Midorima who initially discovered the cursed ritual and oversaw their creation. The other members of the Court of Miracles only used the items and were corrupted by their dark power, they only later learned of the secret of their creation.
Kuroko, the lone survivor of Kul Elna, infiltrated the Pharaoh’s court to exact his revenge and was eventually granted one of the Millennium Items. However, before he had the chance to complete his plan, he discovered the even more terrible evil of Zorc, lurking within the Millennium Items. Instead, he sacrificed them all for the safety of the world and has been waiting to complete his revenge ever since...
The story begins with Takao reawakening the spirit of Midorima in Millennium Basketball, but I only have the strength for one Yugioh rewrite right now, so I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into what might have been!

KnB commentary : Why Kuroko and Kagami make such a compelling Duo (The Astrological Angle)
In my previous post I made a brief discussion about how the KnB characters don’t fit in their Zodiac stereotypes and how they fit in quiet well with traditional Eastern (Vedic) astrological views. Here I need to discuss why Kuroko and Kagami are the “Light and the Shadow” of the series and how it is seen through their Astrological signs (Sun Sign)
Kuroko is born under the Second Aquarius constellation of Shatavisha (the constellation of 100 Physicians) Ruled by the North Node of the Moon and Kagami is born under the first constellation of Leo, that of Magha (the blessed one) Ruled by the South node of the moon. These two are very special signs under very special constellations. The nodes are shadow planet and that’s how the Vedic Mythology explains how these were created (trust it’s important)
Tumblr media
Story time:
Okay... so eons back, in the ages of God: Indra, King of Gods and Master of Thunder pissed off a sage real bad. That sage cursed the gods to be bereft of “Shree” or “Fortune”--the entire universe fell into complete chaos because there was poverty, famine, weakness, petulance everywhere. So the gods and the demons gathered (for the first and final time) to churn up the oceans to bring the Goddess of Fortune or “Shree” (popularly known Laxmi) back.
The churning was done with the help of a great serpent and a mountain named Mainak, and the Demons pulled the snake from one side and the Gods from the other end. Long story short, a lot of things came out, including the Shree, and the Elixir of immortality. all the things were divided between the Gods and Demons by Vishnu the God of Sustenance and husband of Shree, but when it came to the Elixir, none of the groups wanted to share it with the other. So Vishnu meditated that both will get equal share, but he knew if Demons got it, they will destroy the universe with their dark powers. So he tricked the Demons into thinking that they were getting the elixirs, while the Gods drank it for real.
One of the Demon, Rahu, figuered the scam out and joined the God’s team in disguise; and who found him out: Surya (the Sun) and Soma (the Moon). whilst the demon was having the elixir and it reached only to his throat, Vishnu beheaded him with his Discus. The Head became Rahu: The North node of the Moon and the Headless body became Ketu: the South node of the Moon. Because the state were brought by two luminary bodies, they are still trying to kick their asses whenever these shadow planets conjunct with Sun and Moon in birth chart.
Tumblr media
Kagami, the Ultimate light to Kuroko
In Astrology, Ketu or the South node represents hidden talents, detachments, things that gets stored as Karma and gets result later: be it good or bad. The Rahu or the North Node on the other hand signifies illusions, phantoms, big ideas, out of the box thinking, excessive desire, passion and immense gains. Rahu is the head, who is full of ideas but needs a vessel to fulfill his desires in the earthly life. Kuroko, from the very beginning had this very impossible standard to conquer his old schoolmates, The Generation of Miracles, who were vastly out of his league as basketball players: he is this “phantom” that is looking for a conduit because he cannot be alone as an individual to shine.
Kagami on the other hand is this prodigious player with his immense power and skill which comes naturally to him without even “trying too hard”: this is Ketu talking. Ketu sometimes gives people (especially in fire signs) the hidden talents or skills that they can do without trying too hard, and they think it’s natural. But Ketu being Ketu also creates detachment through it with other people who think that it is unfair when he gets to be so good, while they are barely scratching the surface. He is a power stored up and he practically has no direction other than “being no 1”--he has no clue how he will do it until Kuroko comes in picture.
In Kagami-Kuroko dynamics, Kuroko is definitely the brain of their  duo: he is the one who puts sense in Kagami, puts stratagies in him in early stages, and Kagami is the body: with his talent he utilities Kuroko’s potential to the fullest. Incidentally, Kuroko’s birth constellation is ruled by the “Head” North node, and Kagami’s the “body” South node.
In the Zodiac wheel, the First Six Signs are: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo and Virgo and on their opposites, respectively sit Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. It can be seen clearly that right to the opposite of Leo: “the House of Sun” sits Aquarius: “The House of Saturn”--polar opposites. One represents heat, passion, extravagance (sun) the other conservation, coldness and calculation (saturn)--they were meant to counterbalance each other: Kagami getting cooled off while Kuroko getting the warmth.
Tumblr media
Why Aomine-Kuroko/ Akashi-Kuroko Didn’t become the thing
Both Aomine and Akashi are sun influenced: Aomine is born under the second Sun ruled constellation Uttar Phalguni (the younger red one) and Akashi is born under the final sun ruled constellation, Uttar Ashada (the undefead one). Sun born people are filled with energy and they radiate plenty of it. And because of the radiance, the Nodes influenced or Rahu and Ketu influenced people love to be around them, to bask into their light and warmth. While the Sun energy benefits the Node, (Kuroko, who is Rahu influenced), it makes the Sun energy either drained or combust: either they flare up too much with energy, or they just get exhausted. Even in Horoscope, whenever Rahu sits with Sun in the same house, it eclipses the Sun: it comes from the Vedic Myth that because Sun and Moon found out Rahu’s mischief, Rahu tries to swallow them up from time to time and Solar and Lunar eclipse occurs (please don’t @ me every culture has their own Mythic take on these things)
Aomine broke out into depression after he started playing with Kuroko as a duo. I am not saying it is Kuroko’s fault, but here some of Kuroko’s draining Nodal energy comes in play. Daiki became very good, almost combust with energy and suddenly he fell into this void of space. This is what Rahu does: it gives sudden gains and takes it all away.
Tumblr media
Akashi on the other hand is complicated to understand from the first. I had my doubts, like why would he come to scout Kuroko all the way from his ranks and teach him the phantom passing technique? Then I understood something else when I started to do this thing: Akashi, born under the Last Sun Rule Constellation had already reached the maturity of the Sun energy--which means the Sun was wise enough to keep the draining nodal energy at bay. The budding rising sun is represented by the Krittika Constellation under which Hyuuga is born (Taurus), then comes the Youthful and vigorous midday sun Uttar Phalguni,Daiki’s birth constellation (Virgo) and then comes the Old and mature afternoon sun Uttar Ashada, Akashi’s constellation (Sagittarius) represent the Three Sun energies in Zodiac Constellations, and Akashi amongst them represent the light of the sun with it’s imposing and without the harshness. Perhaps it’s his stars that convinced him to give Kuroko a position that will maximize their “gains” (a domain Rahu represents, along with 11th House of Zodiac: Aquarius) through passes. But he would not be working with him 1-on-1 because the gains must be distributed wisely

ewbts - my top moments
no i will never stop laughing at that abbreviation it’s beautiful. buckle in because this is gonna be long, and probably don’t read it unless you’ve watched/read kuroko’s basketball and like izuki lmaoooo
chapter 1: hatchling, awaken
Izuki swallows. “Why do you all think I can do this?”
Then Kiyoshi turns to him with steel in his eyes (that must be how he got nicknamed Iron Heart - he seriously never backs down!) and asks him very clearly, “Why don’t you?”
Why don’t I think I can be captain?
“Because nobody thought I could be until now.”
aka “ceru is a masochist”, exhibit 1/???. anyway lets hear it for insecurities!!
chapter 2: liftoff
Predictably, Kuroko drags him aside at practice the next day and says, “I have something to tell you, Izuki-senpai.”
Izuki smiles at him. “Is it about your five evil exes?”
Kuroko looks horrified. “My what?!”
i think im funny
chapter 3: crash landing
As Izuki walks off the court, he looks for flashing glasses and grey eyes.
He curses himself for the heavy sadness that falls over him like a blanket when he doesn’t spot them.
yay for “ceru is a masochist” exhibit 2!
Oh, he [Izuki] watched videos of Aomine, came up with strategy after strategy to corner him, but videos and strategies can only go so far. Aomine in real life is something else entirely, a flash of lightning setting the court on fire with the sheer elegance of his crazy street basketball. All one can do is sit back and watch, awed beyond belief. Nothing can curb the wild madness that is Aomine Daiki – unrestrained, gleeful insanity dancing across the court like it’s his playground.
i also rlly like this line, it has some pretty imagery and we all know im a slut for pretty imagery~
chapter 4: a broken bone grows back stronger
“All right,” Koganei says to himself, moving to stand in front of the hoop. “One more time.”
He jumps, raising the ball to just above his face and releasing it. It misses, and he lets out a cry of frustration.
Can he even do this? Is it worth the time?
Koganei bites back the wave of guilt that washes over him at the thought. Izuki, Kiyoshi, Tsuchida, Rinnosuke, Kagami, Kuroko – he’d be letting them down if he didn’t give this his best shot. They’re all so dedicated to basketball that they each have a special skill honed from years of practice and love for the sport. If he can’t bring anything of his own to the table, what will he mean to this team? Seirin makes him want to be a team player, to add his skills to theirs rather than shining on his own. The change is good, yes, but he doesn’t want to stop there – he doesn’t want to be useless.
He will not be useless.
a bit of context: in this fic, since hyuuga did not return, koga became the SG for seirin :D i think my favorite character to develop, apart from izuki, was koganei - it was so fun to imagine all the ways he could have gone!
chapter 5: spreading new wings
All too soon, the day of judgment arrives, and Seirin convenes in the gym one last time before they head off to the Winter Cup building. No one says anything; not Kagami, fresh from his training trip to America, not Izuki, not Kiyoshi or Riko. They simply stand there, breathing in the scent of cleaner and leather and something else that’s so entirely Seirin, and knowing that no matter what happens this Winter Cup, they will return to the gym different people than they were before.
Different, and better.
Then they head out and off to the opening ceremony of the Winter Cup, not looking back once as they do.
yay for more pretty words!!!
“Oh, no worries. The actual motivational part is coming. Anyway, as I was saying – Tōō was just better than us that day. It’s hard to admit, I know: far easier to blame yourself, say you didn’t give it your all, but you know; we all know. It was their day to shine, not ours. But I think we’ve worked hard enough and are in a good enough mindset to change that, today. We aren’t scared or apprehensive about Tōō and Aomine, because we’ve faced them before. We know what attitude they’ll walk into our game with, and that’s what we’re going to exploit!”
“You’re going to exploit,” corrects Tsuchida. “Unlike you, the rest of us aren’t manipulative bastards.”
That raises a bunch of cackles, which quiet down when Izuki gives his team a glare. It doesn’t work on Riko, however, who sniggers under her breath and smirks at him.
izuki highkey sucks at pep talks lmao
chapter 6: ride the storm
Kagami and Aomine were made for each other. Made for this rivalry, this intense competition that will push them to their very limits and carry them onto a plane that no ordinary human can reach. Neither can defeat the other per se - they’re destined to stand neck and neck forever. However, one has a trump card on his side; and that trump card can make all the difference in the world.
Aomine Daiki may be strong, but Kagami Taiga is just as good. And damn him if the power of Kagami’s determination coupled with Kuroko’s unshakeable support won’t overwhelm the undisputed king of basketball.
Move aside, light bulb, Izuki thinks vindictively. The tube light is here to replace you.
pretty words. gay words. i love them (aokaga + izuki being a salt man lmao).
chapter 7: eagle versus aegis
“So bitter,” he [Izuki] reflects aloud, answering Himuro’s question.
That’s the emotion in his eyes. That’s what I might have become, if I had let my anger grow.
And suddenly he isn’t seeing Himuro Tatsuya anymore, but a version of himself, a version with darkened eyes and a mocking smile and pain and rage bubbling below the surface. Immensely talented, but not able to break the last barrier. Because he’s an ordinary man, and it’s as much as an ordinary man can do.
Strong, so strong. But also so terribly, heartbreakingly weak. Weak in a way that today’s Izuki Shun will never be.
GOD where do i even start w/this scene its literally everything i’ve ever wanted to write ksjfhsfj
chapter 8: clawing through mirages
Izuki’s taken aback for a millisecond before he continues his mad dash towards Murasakibara, letting out a war cry as the center makes to simply toss the ball into the hoop.
“It wasn’t their intention,” says a quiet but familiar voice. “But, this is the result of Kiyoshi-senpai and the other upperclassmen’s tenacity.”
Izuki grins, feeling new strength fill him up.
Together, huh? Okay. Together.
“This is where it ends for you!” shouts the voice, becoming stronger.
Not one, but two hands knock the ball out of Murasakibara’s hands and onto the ground. Kuroko shimmers into vision, smiling at Izuki with all the happiness in the world, just as the final buzzer rings.
i loved writing this match tbh, yousen is super underrated!
chapter 9: catch the updraft
21 - 22, in their favour at long last. Izuki grins at Kasamatsu, who shakes his head wearily.
“Using my own advice against me. What a terrible student you are,” he says, affecting an old man’s voice.
“The true student is the one who beats the master at his own game,” Izuki says quickly, sliding back into their familiar banter. “I swore to myself, my drive would beat your drive today, kitakore.”
“When did you get so wise?” asks Kasamatsu with a sigh, ignoring his pun and receiving the ball from Kobori, who was quick to grab it once Koga scored. Izuki just laughs, not bothering to reply and instead focusing carefully on Kasamatsu’s movements.
Kasamatsu shifts his weight right, left, then right again. Izuki narrows his eyes, trying to figure out what the hell his upperclassman is doing—
But it’s far too late, as Kasamatsu successfully passes through his defence in his moment of distraction, ball clutched tightly in hand. The sound of the scoring whistle is shrill and unpleasant to Izuki’s ears, and his chest stings at the loss.
“What was that about the main course?” Kasamatsu teases, wearing an enormous grin as he comes forward to guard Izuki once more.
izuki + kasamatsu banter is so so fun to write y’all have no idea
chapter 10: headwinds
This is your fault. If you’d been a better captain, a better point guard, a better everything, none of this would’ve happened. Seirin would have been well in the lead and controlling the game—
Izuki shakes his head violently, trying to get rid of his intrusive thoughts. He knows he’s a good captain, and doing this to himself will do no good for the rest of the team. He has to be strong for them. He has to lead them to victory, he can’t be a weak person overwhelmed by emotion. But it’s so hard to breathe, suddenly, and Izuki’s about to sink when—
“Don’t worry, Captain. I’ll take care of this match today,” says a confident and familiar voice, and a hand claps down on Izuki’s shoulder. He turns, a little surprised by the sudden contact, to find Koganei’s cat mouth set in a determined frown. “You can rest your hopes on me. I’ll be Seirin’s wings for as long as you need me to.”
kogazuki brotp feels man. kogazuki brotp feels.
chapter 11: cliff edge
Riko nods, sobering up a little. “I do know. And… I have to admit, I was a little harsh on you in the early days… I kept comparing you to Hyūga-kun.” She looks at the ground briefly, then raises her head to continue, meeting Izuki’s eyes with no hint of doubt in her own brown irises. “But then I saw how different you were. How you were never willing to give up, even if you were the worst player in the world. That’s what… that’s what made me truly believe in you.” She swallows thickly, taking a deep breath, but not averting her gaze from his.
The honesty and trust in her eyes is what shatters Izuki’s calm.
He steps forward, and she rises too, opening her arms. Then he hugs her tightly, murmuring, “Thank you for having faith in me.”
The “Of course. You’re family,” that she whispers back fills Izuki’s already overflowing heart even further.
Eventually, he lets her go, and she drops lightly to the ground, straightening her sweater and skirt.
“We never speak of this,” Izuki warns her, moving towards the door of the room.
Riko nods, back to her usual haughty demeanour. “Of course. No one can know we’re actually big softies who care a lot for each other.”
“To them, we’re just sarcastic jerks,” Izuki agrees. “And that’s the way it stays.”
anyone said izuriko brotp???? this fic is just platonic feels tbh
chapter 12: overcast skies
What should I do? Someone tell me! the voice cries out in Izuki’s head, a voice he hasn’t heard since the loss to Tōō. It is the same voice that whispers all his insecurities in his ear in the dead of night when no one is around to reassure him, the same voice that gave rise to all his fears and worries. It is the voice of the vulnerable and weak part of Izuki, the one that needs someone to guide him with a gentle hand, and he hates it.
It is a voice that, frankly, he never thought he would hear again. Yet, here it is, crying out for attention, screaming for someone to help.
He thought he had left it behind. It turns out he was wrong.
Izuki shoves it deep into his heart with more effort than he’s exerted all game, breathing a heavy sigh when he succeeds in locking it behind the glass wall that keeps his emotions away.
let’s hear it for “ceru is a masochist” exhibit 3~
chapter 13: nosedive
“I don’t know who you are,” Koganei completes his little speech, anger brimming in every part of his being. “But I know that my captain is Izuki Shun, not Akashi Seijūrō. The coach can bench you if she likes; we can fight without our captain, because we know he wants us to win for his sake. We’ve been fighting without him all the match, and we can continue doing so. We don’t need a player that can’t play with the same passion as us!”
Izuki looks at the ground and doesn’t respond. Somewhere within, something is stirring at Koganei’s words. Something that cries out to fill the gap inside him.
Next to speak is Kiyoshi, standing up and executing much the same move as Koga had by yanking Izuki up by his collar. However, Kiyoshi pulls Izuki into a standing position so that Izuki is half-leaning against him.
Brown eyes meet black, and Kiyoshi simply states, “I didn’t expect this from you, Shun.”
Then he rears his fist backwards and punches Izuki in the jaw.
“ceru is a masochist” exhibit 4!
chapter 14: bird of prey
“I just… I didn’t think you’d give up so easily.”
Koganei’s head shoots up. There’s fury in his eyes, and his face is white. His hands are shaking.
Izuki continues, calm and careless as he always is, “Really… after you gave me all that talk at halftime? I don’t believe this is you.”
Koganei’s jaw clenches, and he cries, “But I have done everything I can! He’s just too good—”
“And when has that ever stopped you?” Izuki keeps his voice quiet and even, but it has the gravity he intended it to - Koga falls silent immediately, eyes wide and riveted on him. “When have you ever backed down from fighting? You don’t know the meaning of giving up. You’ve never cared about whether someone’s better than you. I knew a shooting guard once, just like you, and he had the potential to be the greatest in the world. He was held back because he cared that he was worse than others. But you? You never blinked at it, just practised and practised until you could do the impossible.”
His words are getting louder with pride; he’s unable to keep it steady with the outpouring of emotion in his speech.
“Tell me, who can master Ray Allen’s form in one and a half years? Who can be such a rookie at basketball, yet be able to fight an Uncrowned King and respond to a shot that has left all its previous victims unable to move?!” Izuki leans forward and jabs a finger into Koganei’s chest demandingly. “Tell me, who the hell was that?!”
“Me,” Koga whispers timidly, looking down.
ahhhh yay for more platonic comfort and bonding. *izuki voice* yelling is the way to get ur team to get their shit tgt
chapter 15: born to soar
Izuki finds himself moving, barely thinking as he grabs the ball and bawls for an attack. He’s running faster than he ever has, flying up the court like there are wings on his legs. No one follows at his pace - they’re all too far behind.
No one but Kiyoshi.
The rhythm beats louder than ever, a heavy pulse in Izuki’s head and heart. He can feel Akashi on his heels and knows he needs to do something.
One second left—
Izuki’s hands move on their own, passing the ball to the one person he knows that he will always find.
Kiyoshi catches it and jumps.
Fortyfivethirtyfivetwentyfivefifteen—
The ball leaves his hands.
Fivezero—
The whistle blows to end the game. Kiyoshi’s shot hits the backboard and drops straight into the basket. Time stops as a shrill sound screeches into the air and the ref shouts, “124 to 123, Seirin High wins the Winter Cup!”
there we go. the most heartwrenching scene of this chapter ahhhhh
chapter 16: final flight
“We should go. Don’t want to keep them waiting too long,” Kiyoshi says, staring daggers at Hyūga, who to his credit doesn’t flinch but merely stares back.
“Let’s go, then,” Izuki agrees. He looks straight at Hyūga and allows a small, formal smile to play on his lips. Hyūga just nods, accepting the answer.
Izuki nods back, then turns around and starts walking away. But even as he moves toward the exit, something weighs heavily in his tired chest. For the first time in a long time, he isn’t confident in his decision.
Acting on impulse, he turns on his heel and yells out, “Call sometime, maybe!” before walking backwards out the door that Kiyoshi holds for him.
It’s an open-ended suggestion. Hyūga can choose to wallow and ignore it, or he can choose to pick up the phone. Izuki isn’t going to do so either way - he’ll be happy if Hyūga makes that call, but he won’t be terribly sad if he doesn't.
This time, he’s going to be the one that walks forward without looking back.
ahhh okay so this scene means a hella lot to me personally because... i had to grow, the way izuki grew. izuki’s now strong enough to sort of put the olive branch out and say, “take it or leave it,” and if it’s left he’s not gonna be upset. that’s something i really learned with a lot of difficulty and i think that that growth - in both me and him - is a lovely thing.
and there we have it! my favorite moments from each chapter of this story. *cries in a corner* god i can’t believe it’s over...
THANK YOU FOR THE JOURNEY!

God day! Can I ask scenario about Akashi tell his girlfriend about his mother, his childhood and his disorder?
Hello! Yes you can!! I did research which is why this took so long.
Key points
This takes place your second year of university. You met Akashi during your first year.
Let’s Begin!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Take a deep breath you said to yourself, as you stood in front of the Akashi manor. You can do this.
Your boyfriend texted you, asking you to come over to discuss something. With your boyfriend being one to discuss serious topics in person rather than text, it made you anxious. Was he moving? Or worse...was he going to break up with you.
Just ring the doorbell. It’s so easy, just push the button and... You stopped yourself, your hand shaking as it hovered over the doorbell. I...I can’t do it-
“L/N-chan.”
You jumped in surprise as you saw your boyfriend staring right at you, with the door opened. He was wearing a red button down shirt-with the first three buttons undone-with a black tie hanging loosely around his neck. He paired the shirt with black slacks.
“Hi Akashi-kun.”
He raised an eyebrow, confused as to why you look like you saw a ghost. “Come on in,” he said, ushering you in. After taking your shoes off, he took your hand and led you towards the family room.
He used my last name....that’s really not a good sign. You sighed softly, unaware that the redhead heard you.
The moment you reached the room, the both of you headed towards one of the couches. you noticed two empty glasses and a pitcher of water sitting on the coffee table. Akashi sat down, releasing your hand. “Please sit.”
Pressing your lips together you sat down next to him, placing your hands on your lap, not meeting his eyes.
The silence between you two was tense and thick, making both of you uncomfortable.
“You look nice today.”
You raised an eyebrow at him; you were wearing black leggings, paired with a (F/C) Oversized hoodie with your university name on it. Your hair was in a messy bun and to add to your chaotic look, you were wearing two different colored socks.
“I actually look like shit, but thanks I guess,” you shrugged. “You could’ve dressed more casual you know.”
“I apologize, I came from a meeting,” he said taking off his tie and placing it on the table. “Would you like anything to eat? Or drink?” He asked as he started to pour water into one of the glasses
“Please,” you started, startling the redhead, “If you’re going to break up with me, just do it. Don’t prolong this because its not fai-”
“What are you talking about?” He cocked his head to the side with a look of confusion on his face as he placed the pitcher down. “Why would I breakup with you? What makes you say that?”
“W-Well, you called me by my last name, which you rarely do unless its something serious...and what can be more serious than a breakup?”
Akashi reached out and grabbed one of your hands, rubbing his thumb over it. “I’m sorry if it came across that way.” You looked up at him as he continued, “But this is a serious conversation that I want to have with you.”
“O-okay. What is it?”
Taking a deep breath, he began, “You’ve opened up to me about your past, and I know a lot about you. And it doesn’t feel right that you know nothing about me.”
“What do you mean?” you asked, “I do know stuff about yo-”
“I’m not talking about the basic parts. I’m referring to my past and...a part of me that I’m ashamed of.”
Sei-Chan.....is opening up? You looked at him and saw a mixture of fear and uncertainty in his eyes. “Go ahead,” you said, “I’m listening.”
Taking a deep breath, he turned to face you. “Alright.”
“As you know, my mother passed away when I was in my fifth year of elementary school from an illness. I wish you could’ve met her,” he said with a slight chuckle, “Since my father was strict with me, and wanting me to succeed in every area possible, my mother was the only one who supported me emotionally. She’s the one who got me into basketball.”
“She sounds like an amazing person, Seijuro.”
He nodded, “She was. She was the kindest woman, and strong willed since she dealt with my father. When she passed, my father became more strict and I was never truly happy. With her gone, my childhood was very limited. However, basketball made me feel closer to her. I was surprised when my father allowed me to play...as long as I won.
“When I attended Teiko, I was one of the few first years to ever be a part of the first string, and after a short time, I was promoted to captain; it was hard, but it was worth it. It was during my second year that the “Kiseki no Sedai” was formed, and it was during that time that the other members were advancing their skills and their egos except for me.”
Their skills? You asked yourself. If their skills were developed since middle school...what the hell were they like before?!
“One day, the team was starting to slowly fall apart; Aomine skipped practice, which then led to Murasakibara questioning why he couldn’t skip as well. This of course led to an argument which ended up turning into a one on one match between the two of us. Due to our height difference, he managed to push me back, and it was at that time that I realized I would lose. I never lose; I’ve never lost in my entire life. The Akashi family can never lose and I didn’t want to shame my family name.”
You saw Akashi fiddle with his hands; it was a rare sight to see him nervous and...unsure. He’s always so calm and collected...this was a first for you.
“However, something happened that day and...I ended up winning. I obtained a new skill, the Emperor eye and that was when....I changed. I was more cold toward everyone; I was confident to the point I was rude, yet the team listened to me and respected me. It was during our third year that I emotionally hurt Kuroko. We were all at nationals and we faced his good friend. When Kuroko got injured, I prevented his friend from seeing him, guaranteeing our team's victory. I then advised the other miracles to not hold back. We ended up crushing the other team....and crushed the spirit of his friend. This resulted in Kuroko disappearing; he was hurt by us.” He paused, as his grip slightly tightened around your hand.
You placed your hand on top of his and rubbed it with your thumb. “Take your time. I have nowhere to be.”
Taking a deep breath, Akashi continued, “At the end of the year, Kise, Aomine, Midorima, Murasakibara and myself all made an oath to face each other on the court, since we all ended up going to different schools.,” he saw you start to open your mouth but he cut you off, “Please let me finish. I want you to know everything before you question me.”
You nodded and he proceeded. “I was superior...I was better than everyone. When I entered Rakuzan, I quickly became captain, and just like during my third year of middle school, treated my teammates the same way; being arrogant and calling everyone by their first name without the proper suffix-even to my senpais. I was focused on having powerful teammates, winning at every cose, and not caring about training or hard work, which I always used to believe in.
“When it came time for the Winter Cup, the six of us met up before the opening ceremony; however I wasn’t expecting Kagami Taiga being there. It was then, that I attacked him with scissors-”
“Okay, I’m sorry but how did you get scissors?”
“...They were Midorima’s lucky item of the day and I told him I needed to cut my hair, but that’s irrelevant. Please, just listen.”
“Sorry, proceed.”
“I gathered everyone there to make sure they remembered the oath we made. I hadn’t heard from Kuroko since middle school, but I knew he would follow the oath...and I was right. Kuroko ended up beating Murasakibara, Aomine and Kise; my team managed to take down Midorima. I told him that victory is everything and that I willingly wanted to be his enemy. I remember when he told me I still had not changed. What he didn’t know was that I had changed; my abilities had developed further.”
Once again, Akashi paused, and you gave his hand a light squeeze. “Go on, Seijuro.”
“It was time for Kuroko and myself to face off.  It was going well, we were winning and Kuroko’s ability of misdirection was wearing off due to Mayuzumi-san being Rakuzan’s misdirection specialist...until he gained it back.  During the game, I started to get frustrated with my teammates and slowly started to lose faith in them; eventually I started to play by myself. This led me to obtain the ability to enter the Zone, where my abilities increased.
Unfortunately, like before, Kuroko and Seirin had the upper hand, and the same feeling I felt back at Teiko came back...I was mentally damaged by Seirin’s duo.They...broke my victory-sealing trump card; they defeated my ankle break move. I messed up the rhythm I had made for my team.  I remember what Mayuzumi-san said to me...”
~~Flashback~~~
“What a disgrace,” Mayuzumi said, looking at Akashi.
The three Uncrowned Kings gasped in shock; never have they heard someone talk to their captain like that.
“Did you think we’d comfort you or cheer you up? We’d never do something like that. You made all those pompous statements, but this is all you’ve got? I can’t believe that. You’re nothing like the guy I first met on the school roof. More like...
~~~~~~
“...who the hell are you. Those words struck a chord with me...I kept asking myself who I was. I had flashbacks of my mother...of my childhood. It was then that....I faced my other half; the true me. I realized that I enjoyed those days when I could play as much as I want to with my teammates...my friends. I wanted my inferior side...this side of me.. to stay locked away...But only seeking victory, abandoning everything else...I lost sight of why I wanted to stand strong. I couldn’t hold back the urge to win against Kuroko and Seirin...and I regained control. My team forgave me...and while we ended up losing, it was fun to play the sport again.”
Mayuzumi-san.... You tried to remember who he was. You remembered your best friend forcing you to watch the game with them-even though you weren’t quite paying attention (you were just there to socialize). You knew who the other three members were...and you vaguely recall Akashi talking about him...Oh! He was the quiet one!
“After hearing this, I will not blame you for leaving. Even if I’m no longer the other me, I still shouldn’t have the privilege of having you. You don’t deserve to have someone messed up like me” Akashi looked to you, indicating that he had finished.
“So...let me get this straight,” you started, “Up until your third year of middle school, you were, who I will call “Boku-shi.....then you changed to this “Ore-shi” persona”
Bokushi? Oreshi?
“.....only to return to being ‘Boku-shi’ after losing against Kuroko?”
“I guess... yea,” he slightly stuttered.
“So...you pretty much suffered from a form of Dissociative Identity Disorder,” you asked, getting a nod from the redhead. “And that is why you think I don’t deserve you?”
 He nodded once again, looking away from you this time. “You don’t think I’m crazy for having a conversation with my other persona?”
You shook your head. “That persona of yours...it wasn’t your fault. It was due to the disorder. It is usually caused by any trauma during one’s early childhood; in your case, it was the emotional abuse from your father as well as the death of your mother-”
“By then...I may have already started to be torn apart.”
“And when you add the stress from falling behind your friends and almost losing...you were torn apart even further.”
“I had to stay the strongest so that I could continue to play with them, which is why my other half  was born” Akashi’s voice rose as he yanked his hand away from yours, clutching it into a fist. “I tried to keep them together by winning..those who were irreplaceable. That was the only way I knew how. That weakness was what created him! I was weak!”
You froze. You had never seen your boyfriend like this...vulnerable and open. His past really is haunting him. Now I see why he wanted to talk to me in person about this. You placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, “Sei-chan, please look at me?”
Hearing you call him by his nickname, he looked up at you
Your hand slipped from his shoulder, and you started to rub his back. “Thank you for opening up to me. I know this must have been hard for you. I appreciate you being vulnerable with me, but you have nothing to worry about; I’m not going anywhere.”
“W-what?” he jerked back, “But what I did...it was wrong and disrespectful-”
“And it was all in the past,” you cut him off. “Leave the past in the past. What’s done is done. Besides, you regained your friends after this ordeal right? You lead them to victory against those douchebags from America-”
“But he came back during that match,” he said, being the one to cut you off. “I willingly allowed him to return because we were going to lose. Everyone played hard, and I wasn’t going to let my fear hold us back.” He sighed and looked down again, “It didn’t really matter, my other half was no match against them.”
“...Then...how did you win?” You asked, “If you were too weak to deal with the loss, and your other half couldn’t do it...then how did you win?”
“...We merged. We worked together, and helped our team win.” he briefly paused, “But he’s still there and he could come back-”
“Akashi...your friends accepted you again right? After all the stuff that happened, they let you back in. Part of him will always be with you, yes-I’m pretty sure they all know that. However, you overcame him...your weakness....you did that by yourself...you controlled him. You might show some of his traits here or there....but there’s a good chance he won’t be coming back.” You scooted closer to him and kissed his cheek. “It’s going to take a lot to scare me off, Akashi Seijuro.”
Akashi couldn’t help the smile that came across his face; he placed a quick kiss on your lips and brought you into a hug. “Thank you,” he whispered, smiling wider as he felt your arms hug him back.
Breaking the hug, he looked you in the eyes. “How did you know what to say? How did you know what it was?”
“Sei-chan, I'm a psych major,” you chuckled, “I kinda have to know these things. Two different personalities is a sign of DID; however, usually people don’t remember what happened when they let their other personas take over...so yours is a unique case.” You took out your phone and began typing away.
“....What are you doing?”
“Making a note to ask my professor if there’s a proper term for your condition. Don’t worry, I won't mention anything personal-just that you were able to remember what you did as your other persona took over.”
“You better not mention my name, or else.”
“I won't, I promise.”
“Tell me, why aren’t you surprised. Don’t tell me it’s because you’re a psych major-this is a serious condition. How does it not bother you.”
You put your phone down and looked at him, “Because I suffer from mental illnesses too.” Akashi looked at you in surprise. “I suffer from Anxiety and depression. So no, mental illness don’t bother me.”
“So that means you-“
“No, I don’t self-harm,” you started cutting off Akashi’s thought. “Whenever I get depressed, I just get sad and quiet. I usually want to be alone...yet I also want comfort.”
“I see. That’s good to know,” he smiled. “I’ll make sure to do just that.”
 You smiled back at him. “But I’m curious...how did your teammates know when your persona took over?”
“...my eyes changed colors; one was gold and the other was red.”
You leaned closer to his face and smiled, “Well, whatever color your eyes are, I’ll still love them the same.”
He smiled and, cupping your face, brought you into a kiss.
~~~~~~
BONUS
“So Akashi finally told you, huh?” Kagami said, taking a bite out of his burger.
You nodded, as Akashi took your hand and gave it a light squeeze.
Earlier, Akashi was invited to a game with his old teammates and Kagami and he brought you along. You never got to see them play as a team-or half a team since it was 3 on 3- and you were in complete amazement; their teamwork was spot on and...you got to see the smile of your boyfriend, having fun. Now, the lot of you were sitting at Maji Burger, the boys catching up with each other.
“...And you’re still with him?”
The smile faded from Akashi’s face, only to be surprised when you flicked the salt container at Aomine, hitting his right in the middle of his forehead.
“Of course I am,” you responded, ignoring the complaints coming from the blue haired male. “The past doesn’t define a person, it's the present that does. Sei is a good man with a good heart.”
“But...are you really prepared for his ‘mom mode’?” Aomine grinned, still rubbing his head.
You looked at your boyfriend, “‘Mom mode’?”
“Back at Teiko, I was considered the ‘team mom’ while Nijimura-senpai was the ‘team dad’.”
“Yup! Your boyfriend was a nagging mom!” Aomine laughed. “Kuroko, get up and go sit down. Midorima, you can’t have your lucky item on the court. Murasakibara, put down the bag of sweets. Kise, stop staring at your fangirls! He literally nagged everyone except me!”
“Not true, Aomine-kun. If anything, you were the one he nagged to the most.”
“W-what? Tetsu!”
“He’s right, nanodayo! ‘Aomine, you can’t leave practice.”
“Aomine, you can’t have your magazines on the bench.”
“Aomine-cchi, you’re at practice-get off the bench and get on the court.”
“Aomin-”
“Alright! I get it! Enough!!” he pouted, as the whole table bursted out laughing.
The laughter died down and the group talked about memories from their middle school and high school years.
You looked over at your boyfriend, and couldn’t help but smile; seeing him smile....seeing him genuinely happy...you were happy that he regained his friends trust...and you knew that If his other persona shows up...
“Akashi-chií! How could you say that?!”
“He’s not wrong though. You do need to settle down you know.”
“But shouldn’t he grow up some more first?”
“Kuroko-cchi! Mean-ssu!”
...Akashi will still be accepted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And there you have it! I hope it was to your liking; i was up til 2 am this morning writing it.
Until next time!

canon meme: beating touou !!!
send me a scene from canon to overthink!!!!
on all levels including physical, this is personal.
the set-up. kagami is initially disheartened in his first defeat to aomine. it's not that he's questioning whether he should play bball, because that's never even a thought that crosses his mind. he'd been so sure of himself and his ability that it knocks him back getting his ass kicked. and by someone who had been so sure from the start that he would get his ass kicked. losing matures him a lot. it's so important, in fact, that i like post-losing kagami a whole lot more than pre-losing kagami. he's more deliberate, and he's driven but with the feeling of defeat near in his mind.
the moment of doubt. he's not just playing for himself anymore. he's not just playing because he likes the sport, which he insists is the most important reason to play bball. he's not just playing because he's good, or because he's got a point to prove about beating aomine. knowing that kuroko is determined to beat aomine due to their history drives home to kagami that there's more riding on this than his own feelings. he's playing for kuroko, he's playing for everyone. beating aomine isn't just about his own pride being hurt. he enters the zone for his friends. he loves his friends. power of fucking FRIENDSHIP. my personal least favourite trope but this match does it so well. it's not amped up, there aren't three doors to open, it's kagami being super cool and awesome and believable. i think it's a highlight of the show/manga and not just because aomine is in it i swear.
the success. kagami is so chilled out immediately after winning. there's celebration, he's like HELL YEAH (understandably), but he doesn't gloat once because he's a good boy and i love him. he recognises how aomine's feeling because i imagine he felt that last time too, but not as much as aomine because he's had less time Undefeated lmao (kise beats him, mido beats him, im pretty sure teppei?? i dont know i dont care the important thing is aomine in this scene and i thrive on it. and kuroko i guess. anyway) he's so blunt & frank because he doesn't think it needs to be that deep bro lmao. he immediately challenges aomine to round 2, anytime, any place bitch. he really said "why are you crying you big fucking baby i'll play you again tomorrow if you want to" and i agreed with him by default because he is just so right? he's right. kagami's reaction to aomine being openly :O :( is exactly what he needed to hear, and it pulls him out of the moment. he'll think about it later, of course, but it helps prepare him for kuroko's fist bump request situation. kagz meanwhile sees the focus shift onto kuroko and aomine's important conversation and stands aside for it.
the aftermath. aomine is a lot easier to get a hold of after that. god knows he doesnt go out of his way to talk to kagami for months because kagami is a lot, i get it, but while they view each other as rivals, kagami would definitely list aomine as a friend especially after extra game. kagami walking into the room after extra game and aomine still saying "huh. so he's coming too" and immediately going "I THOUGHT WE WERE OVER THIS" king shit. aomine be kagami's actual friend challenge. i think if aomine was a friendlier, more out-going person nowadays, then kagami would have acclimatised to being actually friends pretty quickly?? like with kise, even if kagami would say (which he would say) "wtf kise isnt my FRIEND???”, they so are pals. same with aomine. not so much.... midorima... or murasakibara... akashi... but kagz definitely vibes with kise and aomine most. i think it’s important to note that kagami doesn’t do talking about friendships and feelings. he probably wouldn’t refer to kuroko as his friend either despite them being actual inseparable besties. he’s not gonna say “i hate that guy” tho.
end of the day, kagami’s words to aomine after the win are, essentially, “this has only just begun,” which very clearly says kagami intends to be aomine’s rival, and not some guy who beat him and then left him in the dust. i maintain that kagami beats aomine in like 1 in 20 one-on-ones, and it’s with the pressure of carrying seirin’s hopes that kagami manages it this time. next year, aomine’s going to be even better, and i seriously wonder whether kagami will manage it, rakuzan win or not.

KnB Fic Recs
Yo, my lovelies! My Sterek rec list is so long, I had to take a break from it, sorry! There's like 400 fics to still rec, but in the meantime I thought I'd go with some KnB recs that I haven't touched in a while. They are all grouped according to the ships, with my favourite KnB ship at last.
On a sidenote, dedicated to @grettalks cuz she's into KnB if I'm not entirely wrong.
⭐ Favourites are marked with stars⭐
***
▶️ Akashi Seijuurou/Furihata Kouki
•  And He Embraced Them All (Because Kouki Is Worth It) : In which Teikou!Akashi switches places with his future self and meets Seirin!Furihata. Time skip AU.
•  Solitary Bliss : Akashi is away on a business trip, leaving Kouki alone and yearning for him, but when he finds comfort in a relic deeply linked to their past, his misery rapidly subsides. Fluffy smutty AkaFuri.
•  The Sun and the Mole Rat : Akashi Seijuurou was like thesun; beautiful, radiant and infinitely unreachable. It was an impossibly stupid thing that someone like him could ever be compared to someone like Furihata Kouki,who was so ordinary in everything, nobody would look at him twice should he walk down the crowded streets.
•  Who Are You? : It starts with an accidental love letter. Then friendship and relationship happen… for quite a while until something inside Akashi snaps and ends it one-sidedly. It’s a lot of hard work to get Furihata’s Akashi back, but it still works out in the end.
•  Anomalies : If there was one thing Kuroko hadn't expected when he ordered Furihata and Akashi to take their children on playdates, it was this.
▶️Aomine Daiki/Kagami Taiga
•  (Look) What You've Done : The one where Aomine is a cop and Kagami is a firefighter.
•  A Kitchen Window Like This ⭐: Kagami and Aomine start a long weekend off on just the right notes.
This is literally one of the sweetest domestic aokaga out there.
•  Cum Here Often? : Kagami’s team win the All Japan Intercollegiate Basketball Championship and they go out to “celebrate”.
•  Dumb Werecats Who Play Basketball : Kagami has a hard enough time being a madararui before his hot rival starts smelling really, really good. Sex Pistols crossover.
Okay,  I'm a sucker for anything even remotely ABO alright?
•  Corners : Mafia!Aomine is out to wipe out Kagami on his boss’ orders. Semi PWP. I suck at summaries, sorry.
•  Firefly Without a Light ⭐: Aomine Daiki is occasionally a shitlord and sometimes he figures that out without needing to be told. Other times, not so much. Porn + emotional rollercoaster.
•  First Time Fit For A King : "Yeah." Kagami rubs the back of his neck awkwardly."I don’t get it though. Why me?"
"Because." Aomine tilts his head up a little, and Kagami doesn’t know if he should feel insulted that Aomine is literally sticking his nose up at him. "You're the only one who has the potential to beat me at basketball. Maybe."
•  Jersey : “Oh my god,” Kagami says, and he’s grinning now, a sleepy, shit-eating grin. “Thisis a thing for you, isn’t it?”  , a.k.a, jersey porn.
•  Overexposed ⭐: AoKaga and taking shots off abs.
•  Packed Like Sardines : Train porn lol 😂 or whatever fucking in a train car is called.
•  playing pick-up ⭐⭐: Aomine comes to visit Kagami in the US except — “Hey, Kagami,” Aomine asks.“You live in Las Vegas, right?”
“What? No,” Kagami replies, readjusting his phone underneath his shoulder.
“Well, I’m in the airport at Las Vegas right now,” Aomine begins, and Kagami doesn’t even want to hear the rest.
•  Rewind > Pause > Play : Kagami threatens to leave when Aomine turns to alcoholism to cope with his career and has given up putting forth an effort in their relationship. Angst with a happy ending.
•  S.A.A : The idea of sitting in a room with a hand full of people discussing how sex makes them feel was not at the top of Kagami Taiga’s to-do list, but when that dark skinned, blue eyed stranger walked into the room, Kagami found himself editing that list and putting that man at the very top.
•  some kind of madness : Aomine picks a fight in a bar trying to protect Satsuki’s virtue (🤣🤣) and Kagami patches him up.
•  Strut : Kagami congratulate Aomine on a very flashy win in his own special way.
•  THE RISE OF ASIA: NBA EDITION ⭐⭐⭐: Aomine and Kagami, through the eyes of an interviewer. A masterpiece, truly. This is one of the very first AoKaga fics I read and I'm still very much in love with it.
•  The Power A Name Can Hold ⭐⭐⭐: Super long soulmate AU full of angst and hurt, but with a happy ending. Absolutely stunning.
•  The Care And Feeding Of ⭐: Halfway through his tenth burger and Aomine’s fourth, listening with only a half an ear towards that bastard’s constant grumble of thought with the occasional hurmph of ingestion thrown in, Kagami realized that he was,in fact, actually dating Aomine Daiki.
An all time favourite full of silliness.
•  The Hot Neighbour : It takes Kagami three weeks to move into his new apartment but only one day to start stalking the incredibly hot salaryman in a suit.
•  the pizza factory ⭐: Aomine gets accepted at the pizza factory where Kagami is a chef. Or so it goes. A very funny, snarky personal favourite.
•  thigh to thigh : Kagami's more experienced than Aomine is; that's not exactly saying much. PWP.
•  Twitter Project : Kagami's social studies class has a new project: Tweet a celebrity of your choice. Aomine has been on the receiving end of some hilariously awkward tweets recently.
➡️ sequel : TakaShin sidestory, very cute with a pinch of AoKaga from before.
•  underneath the cup in a black, marker pen ⭐: Kagami writes letters on styrofoam cups to hardworking salaryman Aomine. Coffee shop AU.
•  Wildcat Blues : In a world where shapeshifters, vampires, wizards and other preternatural beings walk the land, finding everlasting love can be a bitch.
•  Worst Kept Secret : In which Kagami Taiga is a werewolf and nobody is supposed to know. Key point - 'supposed to'.
•  Wrong Number ⭐: Aomine managed to score this busty babe's phone number, but when he texted her, the person who responded was everything but busty.
•  texts from last night ⭐⭐: Kagami gets smashingly drunk and Aomine takes it upon himself to drive him home. Drunk sex ensues.
▶️Kise Ryouta/Kasamatsu Yukio
Okay, so I saved my favourite KnB ship for the last! Have fun!
•  (500) Days of Kise ⭐: Wherein Yukio Kasamatsu's life is a romantic comedy. Office AU and so very cute. Mutual pining. Kinda, if I remember right.
•  The God of Small Things : Kise gets scratched by Kasamatsu's new cat. Cat fluff.
•  flower/s : Kasamatsu comes home from a work related trip, and Kise has something up his sleeve for Senpai’s return.
• KiKasa Week series :
1. he's got the answer it doesn't go away : It figures that the universe won't even give Kasamatsu the luxury of hindsight bias.
Okay. This is like, the best of Yukio that I've seen. Team dynamics and Kise joining Kaijou.
2. what you have tamed : First lesson in being team captain: you don't get a break.Ever.
3. slow down if you want to : It's been a week already, and Kasamatsu still can't let go.
4. in the face of these forces : Wherein Kise only started playing basketball in his third year of middle school, and Kaijou still scouted Teikou's small forward.
•  Perfect Coffee : Kise was a perfect employee– he had a sunny disposition and stunning looks who attracted the customers and he additionally had a real talent for making coffee. So he was a blessing that gods had bestowed upon Kurokocchi and his friend, no matter what they both said.
•  Of French Girls And Pretty Boys ⭐⭐: Kasamatsu takes up art class for extra credit, and Kise is the unfairly attractive figure model. College AU.
•  Narita Ground ⭐⭐⭐: Kise loves riling up Narita Ground's air traffic controller.
This is one of those “if you ship kikasa and haven't read narita ground, then you're living under a rock” kinda fics. I swear by it. Ultimate favourite.
•  KNB TFLN : College AU with multiple pairings besides KiKasa. Smutty.
•  First Impressions : But Kise Ryouta, damn his eyes, is beautiful., OR
Yukio looks over Kise’s profile before he comes to Kaijou.
•  Ten Things Kasamatsu Finds Annoying(ly Endearing) about Kise : Kise always smiles at Kasamatsu when he's finally done with his seemingly-interminable beauty regimen (there is no other word suitable for this) and says, "Thanks for waiting for me, senpai."
•  Fadeaway ⭐: Kasamatsu dodges. "You don't deserve that," he says, setting a slightly faster pace. "Inconsiderate, stupid, no-good first-year aces and their idiotic, inconsiderate, stupid, worrisome actions."
•  KiKasa Week series ⭐⭐⭐:
➡️  ️part 1 : “He's good-looking?” Kise demanded, before he could stop himself with the thought of how unattractive jealousy was.
Okay so this is at the end cuz it's super old and I couldn't find the active link, but nevermind. It's fucking awesome.
➡️  part 2 : Kise peeked at him. "But cute?" he said, trying to recapture the dutiful boyfriend adoration look.
Kasamatsu stared at him. "Now that's just gross," he said.
➡️ part 3 : "You do look kind of like him," said Kasamatsu, since obviously no one else was going to come out and say it.
"I really don't," said Kise, his mouth hilariously turned down.
"Maybe in a few years," said Kasamatsu. "You'll grow into it."
More to come! Stay tuned!♥️
