Theories and Headcannons Pt. 19

So the ore snatcher has struck again in Doc's latest Hermitcraft episode (24) during his vacation in France revealing the peace treaty and return of the stolen deepslate diamond ores were a hoax implanted by an impersonating hermit as a way to coax Doc from flooding the whole world of Hermitcraft Season 10.

So this concludes that JoeHill wasn't the intitial or prime as the "true" ore snatcher but a acquaintance or assistant to the original ore snatcher. Leaving three signs as final goodbye message to Doc after returing the stole deepslate ore thanking him for the fun from the conducted shenanigans.

So the signs were crafted from warped wood stating :

So with this new revelation of information there's still two main question unanswered that are, who is/are the ore snatcher and who are they aiming for next?

From the evidence gathered, in Sign 2 it used the pronoun of "we" compared to the other adjecent signs using "I" so this would suggest that the ore snatcher is an overmind of sorts. Controlling and manipulating others as a leader. With the previous peace treaty, that would mean as a futile, last ditch effort to halt Doc's efforts to flood the server was an impulsive move made by one of the employers without the Ore snatcher's permission. Effectively JoeHills could've been one of the minions commissioned or ordered to act as a punching bag to Doc's wrath.

So who is the leader or the Ore snatcher? Leaeding speculations and Doc conclude that Cub may be the man behind the escapades due to his nature of being the Jingler. But previous signs placed in the stall have also being signed by $, concluding that the leader would have been the face of the Ore Snatchers and the others as backups or assistants. Another leading clue is in Sign 1, "I return from holidays" but I have no clue who have returned from their break besides Doc. So that question still remains a mystery.

Another inquiry would be who would be the next target(s) for the Ore Snatchers? The use of plurals could mean these series of events would be already preplanned or loosely planned like guidelines in a story. But who knows. Maybe the next big technical redstone project would be the next target of the Ore Snatchers.

Hello you asked who would like to hear about your Doc headcanons. It is me I would.

*Gasp* someone wants to know about my Doc headcannons!

Suppose a bit of it does come from cannon, the creeper-goat-cyborg-butterfly man himself. Even as he made the arm and eye as a replacement for lost parts, they feel more right than the organic parts ever did, more comfortable, more like him. (yes, he made them both himself, guy is out here connecting redstone to his optical nerves by himself and making a whole cybernetic arm with one hand).

And ever since he gave himself goat horns after season 8, he's been itching to do more. The Goat horns were like a missing part of himself, and later that same season he was looking down at that borning grey elytra...

So yeah, he does redstone modifications to himself, it makes him feel comfortable, makes him feel less like a dangerous mob.. and he enjoys seeing just how much he can change himself while still staying himself. He's got the Hivemind he can do it, and oh does he want to.

-Speaking of the Hivemind, they aren't a group of technical players that all get together and help each other out with redstone ideas, no, they are the voices in Doc's head. It varies whether I make them just voices Doc hears, dead players, or a gaggle of godly entities (that took notice after he created the charged creeper and killed a god).

Love to make him hear voices, gotta make all the favs slightly insane and overly powerful.

And you know how creepers can sneak up on you, so quiet that you don't notice until you hear that tell tale sizzling noise right beside you? Yeah, Doc sometimes uses that to sneak up on Hermits, just for fun.

Aside from that the usual created in a lab, which if I'm in a particularly angsty mood I do have a slightly more manipulative version of. And there's probably a bit more that I'm not remembering at this moment, but that's the main stuff!

taking over the Oscar Delancey tag and beginning my journey to normality, let's go

updated Oscar headcannons weee (adding characters from Freddy's Dead because Shon Greenblatt acted in that and i can, characters: Spencer, Carlos, Tracy, Doc, Maggie)

(if Oscar goes to school) Instead of going to the lunchroom they go to sit in the corner of the library on the floor and read or draw because they don't have friends

they do have friends they just don't go to the same school as them, they all go to schools in different Burroughs or better schools then them while they settled for their zoned because they weren't given enough time to pick one and doesn't have the grades for a better school

their guidance counselor is the bane of their existence

Ela is their favourite class because it's the only one they're good at and they have more than one friend in

Art used to be their favourite subject but now it's their least favourite because of the teacher

they're allergic to nuts, glutten, certain ingredients in some lotions that they can't remember, and takes sleep meds (shut up this is the projection portion(please don't shut up ily /p))

they can't stand the smell of paint and the texture of velvet makes them physically ill

general headcannons

they've busted their ass a good 6 times standing on shit to make himself as tall as Morris

they think they can get away with sneaking out but someones always there

at some point they were caught by Jack like 3 blocks away from their place trying to sneak to their friends place (this could go in the projecting part too tbh)

Oscar's 5'3 but will swear on their life that they're 5'5,

their favourite colour is grayish pink

for a good majority of their life so far they've had issues with food, but not in like an ed way, they have issues with food in a celiac way

they have a pet goat that they took from the farm when they left with Morris that they named Goatee

when they were younger they would try to hide the goat under blankets and stuff and would be genuinely surprised when Morris lifted up the blanket and saw the goat (they still do that now they just don't get surprised when Morris finds Goatee)

Doc play fights the other hermits by running up to them and headbutting them, normally they can take it because armor, but at the start of the season there's a good chance they get a bit beaten up (it would also explain why they're all slightly insane. Getting bonked in the head by a big ol' goat)

He faints when he's scared... that's it.

You should totally give him some leather armor as an offering to the goat lord. Muncha chruncha.

He's has no qualms against tossing you off a mountain.

Hermitcraft Headcannons

LONG POST

Since I’m apperantly writing a fanfic now I figured I might as well list my headcannons for the hermitcraft members personas + Timmy. 

I have not had the time, energy, or attetion span to watch all of the hermits so quite a few of these are based solely off of other fan interpertations I have seen. There’s also some hermits I do not know what to do with who are excluded from this list.

This list starts out very Grian focused due to the fact he introduced me to the hermits as well as the fanfic I’m planning being centered around him and Timmy.

Timmy - Caridinal hybrid, was a listener but after Grians escape was taken to replace his brother. Related by blood to Grian, non-blood related to Pearl

Grian - Was born human before being taken in by the watchers and being forced to become one, after escaping he dyed/coded his wings to look like a parrots and claims to be a parrot hybrid. Related by blood to Timmy, non-blood related to Pearl.

Pearl - Moth hybrid, escaped evo alongside the others and spent a few years searching for her brothers before finding Grian in Hermitcraft and joining him, spends season 9 researching the watchers in hopes of getting Jimmy back. Adopted sister of Grian and Timmy.

Mumbo - Born a human, turned into a vampire at the beginning of season 8 and spent that season not killing in an attempt to deny his new hybrid-status. Is the person who orginally found Grian and brought him to hermitcraft.

Scar - Vex hybrid who likes to pretend they’re an elf, has unspecificed medical issues (I am not going to try and diagnose scar) that affects his walking abilities, often uses a cane or wheelchair to get around. Jellie is his emotional support animal.

Cub - Vex hybrid, big brother energy. He’s the second oldest hermit, however thanks to a de-aging experiment he’s physically one of the youngest. 

Iskall - Dwarf, lost an eye while doing redstone. Is often mistaken as Impulse’s brother.

Impulse - Dwarf, had difficultlies growing a beard so he’s super upset whenever it gets cut. Often mistaken as Iskall’s brother.

Gem - Deer-fey hybrid, has a deep connection to nature, hence her tendency to build naturey things, is able to manipulate plants. 

Bdubs - Everyone thinks he’s a fey, is actually just some random dude. Scared of the dark, hence the very strict sleep schedule, and wears moss because it’s very comfortable. Also for some reason everyone keeps letting him put people into positions of power.

Doc - Born a creeper hybrid, was experimented on causing him to be a spliced creeper-goat-cyborg hybrid. Wears a lab coat because it makes him feel in control of what happened to him, and despite apperance is the sweetest person you will ever meet.

Ren - Wolf hybrid, has a very large family made up of different characters he has played (renbob, the red king, etc), due to his wolf hybrid status he has seperation anxiety

Etho - Enderman hybrid, has always hid his face due to his anxiety (same) but after recieving a scar that covers 2/3 of his face he’s even less willing to remove his mask.

False - Eagle hybrid, is super sweet but will nto hesitate to fight you if you so much as look at a hermit the wrong way. 

Stress - Flower fey, resident healer and grower of plants, is terrible at taking care of herself. 

Cleo - Born human, became a zombie hybrid after a funky respawn that healed her bit failed to revive her. Is sensitive to the sun, though is able to stand in it for short periods of time, survives off of raw meat, is the go to for new clothes and surgerys thanks to her mastery of stitching.

Joe - Human, no one is convinced. Isn’t great at being social, but loves hanging out with cleo because he feels as though she gets him.

Jevin - Slime hybrid, is naturally green but uses dye to make himself blue in an attempt to differ himself from the hostile mob. Without the human skeleton that resides within him he is unable to maintain his shape.

Keralis - Resident eldritch horror, sweetest man alive, will trap anyone who hurts his friends in the void.

X - Voidwalker, needs his armor to breath the overworld air, really good at over working himself, does not have a shadow.

Ex - Shadow-voidwalker, used to be X’s shadow, isn’t nesscerily evil but has people issues due to be cast out by the person he used to be bound to. 

Zed - Sheep hybrid, always wants to know more about the world around him

Tango - Blaze hybrid, cannot get wet, cannot withstand cold weather, cannot be burnt, his hair is made out of fire and grows or dwindles based on his current emotions, a terrible liar

Not included in list; XB, Wels, Beef, and Hypno. Tfc also isn’t included, as I’m unsure how I feel about alluding to him in fanfics following his passing, so out of respect I won’t pretend he doesn’t exist but I also won’t be including him in headcannons or fanfics. May he rest in peace. 

Based on this list alone guess which hermits I have and haven’t watched. If this gains any traction I’ll follow up with my headcannons on hermitcraft as a server, as well as the fanfic idea I have at the moment - it is in the very early stages of development, but I live off of validation and feedback so I’ll probably post ideas for it regardless.

Theoreisiosous and Headcannonous Pt. 13

So before Doc or the other hermits reveal who the ore snatcher was, I want to explain my theory that Etho and Joel or the Boatboys were the real culprits when stealing Doc's deepslate diamond ore.

My reasoning is that Etho being the technical or redstone genius he is, just wants to have some fun poking the goat as he's rarely seen online or posts anymore. And why Joel is also included, is his ability to imitate or emulate the styles and characteristics of other hermits. Take example of him posing as Etho when creating the simplistic statues of different hermits and keeping that facade for a few weeks.

So with this duo, it's possible for both of them to be capable of being the ore snatcher. With Etho's technical genius of swapping the ore with empty deepslate WITHOUT breaking the machinery and Joel's imitative techniques by framing hermits such as Scar as the ore stealer.

But there are some holes or intricacies in this theory that contradict what is considered to be cannon information in Hermitcraft. Some of these being that Etho would be careful or downright avoiding intricate redstone technology and he's being spending less time on Hermitcraft, and that the sneaky or stealthy style of the oresnatcher doesn't match Joel's style of messing with other hermits.

But it's still a theory.

One of my favourite headcannons is also related to creeper hc.

So when creepers hiss they also produced some sort of smoke (smells like gunpowder) and because Doc is part creeper, but with some other mobs mixed in (mainly goat lol) and he was almost fully reconstructed (that's why he's a cyborg), he can also do as creepers do and produce smoke and also hiss, but he can't exploat like them tho :D

Idk if this are good headcannons but I like them :D

Infection au update

The resistance are just writing au ideas for this au 

so basically I had this idea where Doc basically takes the role that Mumbo gave up and is now the stepfather of the kids and here are Infected!Doc headcannons ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -Doc is way more overprotective of the kids than Grian is and often times doesn’t growl but instead attack right away -Doc is Half infected but he can control his speech on rare times  -Doc is a Mushroom/Mountain Goat Hybrid -He has horns that curve like a ram’s -He fidgets with his horns when distressed -he isn’t always near the kids due to being taken for tests but when he snaps into his infected side, he starts running to the kids

-When they first found Doc, they saw a monster ram into the resistance’s cell and panicked until Impulse started reaching for him for a hug -Grian sometimes gives Doc scritches and Mumbo is jealous of Doc -Doc also gives Gri pets when he is stressed.

-The kids often reach for Doc since he is so tall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here are some headcanons I have been thinking of.

U got any headcannons for ex,x,and ax?

every once in a while I'll get an ask about x bros headcanons and I absolutely love it, so ty for asking me this. Also, if people have hc about them too, feel free to send me an ask! I love reading about them

- both Ex and Ax are non-binary! Ex is totally confortable with it but Ax realized it not so long ago so he's still in the What Is My Gender zone™

- Ax loves animals but he always pretends he doesn't

- I already talked about it but Ex loving gardening is such a cute idea!! His base is full of plants and he gives some of them to the hermits depending on the condition in their base. Ren's base is in a hot and dry biome so he gets all the cactus, False gets lots of seaside plants, etc

- Ax is friend with Helsknight. He doesn't approve his whole Evil thing (and he lowkey hopes their friendship will turn him around) but they still hangout regularly

- Ex lives next to Npc and Robot Grian. When Grian abandonned Gumbot Jr, they adopted it instantly

- minecraft please add goats because Ex must have a baby goat pet

- X and Ex now get along very well despite their past, but Ax only recently came back in their life (early season 7) so it's still weird between them. They're working on it tho

- Ex is often with team Zit or with Keralis and Bdubs. He really enjoys causing mischief without causing big troubles

- Ax hangs out more with Doc, Mumbo or Cubfan. He likes watching them do redstone even if he doesn't understand it.

- Also Ax sometimes ends up with Joe and Cleo. They go play minigames together or he helps them collect leaves for Iskall's game

- idk if I've already talked about that but despite what everyone thinks, Ax isn't that mean. He usually is quite harsh with people he doesn't know bc he's really scared and socially anxious. (many hermits don't like him bc of their bad first impression). When you get to know him, he is a really nice person

- also his lack of apathy isn't in the way of his friendship with the hermits or his brothers

- Ex still feels guilty about all the time he tried to destroy the server. He told nobody but X about this

- ways to show love/appreciation: X will mostly use words, Ex is all about helping other people and proposing his help when anyone has something to do, Ax is more about small daily acts like baking someone their fav cake

I'll go a little deeper lore-wise on this last one, so its longer

First, a little lore: in my general minecraft hc, each dimension has its guardian, a God-like creature that can create life. The Overworld guardian is the oldest one, and the End one is the youngest.

About how Ex and Ax were created: years ago X agreed to take part in a experiment about the void and the End. Scientists managed to trap a small part of the end void in a machine. They wanted to test how players would react to it so they got X to be a test subject for them without him knowing. X was put in the machine repeatedly, dying bc of the void and respawning. After a few months, X was tired and wanted to flee but couldn't.

One day as he is in the machine, a voice starts talking to X. The End guardian managed to reach him, and they talk. X mentions how lonely he feels. When he comes out of the machine, Ax comes out with him. This baffle scientists, and they try to recreate it asap. After a few failed attempts, the End decides to do it again and Ex is created.

They all manage to espace the scientists at different points later on, but that's another story.

All the gender headcannons make brain run wild, but, i will do pronoun hcs instead because hyperfixation. (some of there are probably wrong because i don't know the hermits that well, but)

Cleo - She/Her but in a distinctively non-cis way. i feel like she'd use a lot of emojipronouns though

Joe - either no pronouns or it/its, Joe just has that kind of vibe

Iskall - She/He/They with no preference, but they just typically tell people they/them because its easier

Doc - 100% uses goat themed neos, along with he/him

Mumbo - any and all, and he means Any and All. you can not misgender it. xey typically just say he/him because she panics too much to give an actual answer.

Grian - who knows, not him (has settled on he/it for now, probably will hoard pronouns in the future)

Scar - feels like he'd use he/him and she/her, and any variation of those two. idk why

TFC - he/him in a distinctively non-cis way as well. the elder trans

Etho - pronounfluid. no clue why, just the right kind of vibe

(I have vague ideas for more, but i do not know how long this is already so, yknow)
