hello and how are you?

We've done it all! We've hit 150,000 Words today!

I am here once again Everyone to let you know that another victory is given unto us this month! We've managed to hit the solid goal for the month and with a good old five days - about a whole week - left within NaNoWriMo!

Honestly this has been a wild ride for us, and we do still have the goal of hitting 5k Words a Day, and so, even with two victories within our belt, we are going to be continuing the good fight! We want to make sure we get ourselves through the month with all the motivation as we started it in and so, with that, we are going to be doing our best to continue on with our goals and focus and progress!

We also do have all of the goodies of winning NaNoWriMo, but we will celebrate with everyone else at the the end of the month! Until then, we're keeping up the good fight and hope everyone has been having fun with whatever misadventures you have been a part of this month!

teen being wanda's son has got to utterly piss off agatha in a truly deep, soul cutting way. i mean, not only is wanda the scarlet witch, a being of complete power, the woman that trapped her in a goddamn revolving door of tv tropes for 3 years, but she also cheated her way into keeping her imaginary son.

in agatha's eyes wanda maximoff got everything she's ever wanted, and its not fair. no wonder she immediately turns on the vicious, ice-cold malice towards teen as soon as it clicks into place. not only did she care for him (what a kick in the balls that is), she's also just been taunted with her dead son's voice, while wanda's stands in front of her posturing over morality (of all things, it was absolutely the worst time of all to start yapping about that. agatha's just been told her mother wished she killed her at birth, i really dont think she was up for a chat on ethics)

Since a changlings role is to replace the child as to not cause any problems, wouldn’t it be easy for the changling to just go ‘missing’ during adulthood? By missing, I mean disintegrating. Like, the magic needed to make a changling isn’t meant to last anyway. So one day every changling that has ever existed will go into the woods and never be seen again. The magic it was made of going back into the world. It also solves the problem of potential children. Changlings physically can’t get into romantic relationships and if they do they’ll disappear into the woods before the idea of having kids even comes up. Kind of scary though since if the not Timmy was out on a family camping trip and just straight up rounded a corner in front of the Turner parents and BAM. Gone.

You would be correct about that. Changelings are not meant to last longer than 2 years past the child's adulthood.

Perhaps it's due to Timmy's immense Good Luck when he was human, or perhaps due to Timmy's stubbornness, but his changeling has thus survived well beyond its necessary lifespan.

Regardless, his changeling is nobody's concern. Not that it has ever been anybody's concern. A well built Changeling will collect bad luck into its body by nature. If Wishes were to attract Luck, then Unwishes attracts Bad Luck.

It'll sort itself out eventually.

DP x DC AU: Danny desperately wants to find the explosion guy. Tim is really good at covering his tracks... he didn't account for ghosts.

The explosions make it onto TV as purported terror activity and most people haven't heard of that part of the world much less ever given a second thought to care about it. The only real reason it gets reported on has something to do with the Justice League and... Danny knows too much.

He's been in training for Clockwork's court (which he's suspicious of- feels like kingly duty bullshit- but Danny is playing along out of curiosity for now) and he's learned a lot about how the living and non-living worlds collide. That means learning about CW's usual suspects- one of which just happened to have a ton of bases around the area Danny was seeing on the news.

It didn't take long for Danny to try to piece together that whoever blew up Nanda Parbat was trying to fuck with the League of Shadows, and was doing it successfully. Less green portals in the world the better, same goes for assassins. But it gets Danny thinking... Maybe he can employ similar tactics on the GIW Bases that keep spawning on the edges of Amity Park. It would at least set them back while he and his friends navigated the help line desk to request Justice League intervention. None of them can leave Amity Park, so outreach is going to have to be creative.

So Danny figures he'll just find the guy. Call up some ghosts who were there, or er, came from there and get a profile and track him down. But the ghosts keep saying it was The Detective. Annoying!

Danny goes full conspiracy theory, gets Tucker and Sam involved, and begrudgingly asks Wes Weston his thoughts.

He hadn't expected Wes to garble out a thirty minute presentation (that had 100 more slides left to go before he cut it off) about how Batman totally trained with a cult and so did his kids. Danny kind of rolled his eyes but... hey, new avenue of searching in the Infinite Realms at least.

The ghosts confirm that Bombs is for sure not Batman's MO- But maybe his second kid would know? The second kid was already brought back to life though, so no way to easily reach him... Danny starts to realize that this might be the work of a Robin now. Wasn't the red one known for solving cold cases? (Sam provides this information- its a social faux pas to not know hero gossip at Gotham Galas- everything she's learned is against her will).

It all comes to a head when Danny goes about the hard task of opening a portal for the guy to come through at just the right time, explain the infinite realms so he doesn't panic and then describe what the fuck was going on with the GIW. It takes months, just over a full year, of random (educated guesses) portal generating- Finally, Red Robin drops into the land of the dead.

"So, you're the guy I've got to talk to about explosions right?" Danny enthusiastically asks.

Tim thinks he's died and landed in the after life following 56 hours of being awake and plummeting off the side of a building into a Lazarus pool. Nothing makes sense about the kid in front of him.

"Yeah, I got a guy for munitions." Tim answers cooly.

"How do you feel about secretly sanctioned government operations that violate protected rights?"

"Gotta get rid of 'em some how. Need me to point you in the right direction?" This might as well be happening.

Well, we did it everyone! We got to 50,000 Words today!

This means, for those of you watching and waiting, that we have hit one of our goals for this November! Traditional NaNoWriMo is officially completed and finished! This was as planned, and now that Traditional NaNoWriMo is completed, we can continue onward and upward to the next milestones and goals for the month!

We don't have any of the official certificates for NaNo - they don't really think most people will be out here writing out 50k in 10 days, which is entirely logical - but we'll let you know when we get them!

In the meantime! Thanks for being here, we'll see ya as the month continues, and let's all have a great NaNo, wherever you are in this wonderful and wild adventure of Words and Worlds!

just watched someone who has never ever played pocket camp before play the complete version and omg, not having leaf ticket trauma really changed the way she played haha, she spent those leaf tokens like they would keep coming forever(and she might be correct honestly, its kinda hard to say) while i have been hoarding them like i still feel the cost of the micro transactions i used to pay to this game 5 years ago

I do appreciate the nice asks genuinely- and hopefully it doesn't come off as though I resent them. It's just unbelievably exhausting to keep doing this when I don't really get anything from putting all my energy into drawing shit and. ultimately, nobody in my personal life cares what I do. I guess I don't know what I expect from doing this shit and uhm. For what it's worth I am sorry for constantly making everyone deal with this melodramatic shit. But GOD I am tired
