I’m not really bothered by people misgendering me, regardless of if it’s on purpose or on accident.

I used to get bullied a lot growing up, but I learned that the best thing you can do is ignore it all together. That, or own it. Telling them otherwise won’t change anything, and it’s not worth fighting over something that I don’t care about.

The people who do it on accident though are the least of my worries. I can’t see myself getting worked up over a mistake, you know? I don’t see the point in correcting them.

My old prosthetic used to be pink. I got that one so my mom would recognize me after the accident since pink was her favorite color. After I left the hospital though, I went back to school and got made fun of for it.

I guess I was just sick of being told that pink was a ‘girl color’. I don’t remember what I was thinking, but one day I just decided I didn’t care and tied my hair in pigtails. I don’t really think colors and styles and clothes have gender, I guess.

a character isn’t ‘trans coded’ just because they’re gender non-conforming. please let GNC characters be GNC in peace. you can have headcanons, but don’t claim that the character must be trans just because they dress a certain way... it creates the idea that cis people can’t be gender non-conforming without having it mean they’re actually trans, which is a harmful idea trans people have tried to distance themselves from for a long time. GNC =/= trans.

hm, alright. so after giving your kins a looksy, here’s my analysis:

starting off, you seem to be a very polite person. mostly out of a fear of conflict more than anything, you probably try to avoid it if you can, however, there are notable exceptions. while you dont mind quietly suffering to avoid fights yourself, if people threaten your friends you will stand up for them.

i also feel like you perhaps haven’t had the.. greatest home life, to put it bluntly. perhaps explaining your shy nature, and why it’s easier to respond with witty comebacks and sly jabs than your actual fists.. though, i suppose, speaking is often easier than actual fighting.

hm.. perhaps you’re also gnc? eh, i dunno, it was just an interesting pattern i noticed.
