I think cybertronians should be more freaked out by the fact humans eat other living things.

Like come on, bots only ingest energon which is inanimate crystal juice, they’re regularly grossed out by normal organic functions, and you’re telling me they don’t bat at eye at the idea of their friendly little Sentient companions straight up killing other animals and eating them??? I feel like that should def cause more cognitive dissonance for them, esp autobots since they actually get close to humans.

Like I can see them being grossed out but accepting of the fact that wild animals eat each other- they are WILD animals and all, not exactly sentient or even necessarily intelligent after all. But HUMANS? The organic creatures that are the closest to them (going by tfp standards where they don’t mention many other organic species) in terms of structure and emotion and intelligence?? That has to be concerning on some level to them.

Referencing tfp and MTMTE where they have scraplets and sparkeaters, i feel like that’s what they’d kind of associate it with which would freak them out more. God forbid they hear about how common cannibalism is in survival situations, I don’t even know if they’d be able to sympathize the slightest bit with that considering as far as I know cannibalism Isn’t Really A Thing for them. That’s a thought in of itself tbh, would they be able to reckon with the concept of being so hungry you’d eat people you know, when it’s physically impossible for them to do that? How do you rationalize the choices others make in desperate situations when you know you’d never have to make that choice anyway and you’ll never have their perspective on it?

Anyways, I’m entertained by the idea of them being able to ignore stuff like nuggets or patties considering it doesn’t look recognizable as what it is but being downright repulsed by steaks, especially if its bloody or has bone visible. They don’t like the visual reminders of their sweet little organic friends consuming flesh and blood. Too freaky for them.

In my mind palace a lot of dragons in the ninjagoverse (especially younger dragons) play bite/nip as a friendly/affectionate gesture… and this leaves Riyu and Wyldfyre in a tough spot, considering their teammates are squishy and fragile. They have manners, yes, but. Consider. Want to bite :(

I'm thinking about how AFO & Yoichi might have found a bunch of KFC scraps after Christmas as kids, but didn't know why that was, they were just thankful for the food in the middle of winter.

Then Yoichi finds out about Christmas and convinces his brother to celebrate with him. But is thrown in a bank vault before he can ever celebrate.

AFO never celebrates it because he's above holidays (also, Yoichi loved celebrating all holidays and they remind him of him)

it's fascinating to me the way people ( jsc and others ) will use the term "got under her skin" in regards to her feelings for roman. i think it's in part to do with gerri's inability to feel for the sake of emotion. she's the woman in a man's world, if she's kind: she's showing weakness. if she cries or gets angry: she's too emotional. she is so calculated in her emotions, in the way they are displayed and perceived, i think that's the only fitting term, really.

he got under her skin. he chiseled away the mask, and what's devastating about that is he could see her if he knew how to look, but he doesn't. roman has no idea just how much he's affected gerri.

gerri can feel him there beneath her ribs, far too close, and rome doesn't even realize he's done it.

Sorry, it’s Londo’s turn as the fave so like-

I love how they introduce him. He’s just this tired but relatively harmless hedonist justifiably pissed about an attack on his people. He’s funny! He’s charming! He’s friends with a bunch of the other characters.

And it makes it easy to forget about the other parts of him. He’s a nationalist. He genuinely believes his great Empire should be running the galaxy. He’s power-hungry and self-absorbed. Until those parts start getting more and more obvious and brought to the forefront.

And then he starts a genocide.

And yet they still show you him trying to mitigate the damage. And maybe help people.

But he’s still most angry that people like him less. He still fully believes in the Great Empire.

And you still like him. Even while you want to flay him alive for everything he does, for doubling down on his own shitty decisions.

I do not think truly for one moment that Londo was redeemed. But I can’t say I don’t really enjoy watching his story unfold.

so insane of wanan to name the "mad dog" arc after haejoon but make it about eunyung. insane. their lives are so strongly connected and the two are written so insanely as a pair. even when they don't want to be involved with each other they still are. "mad dog" but eunyung is going mad and living like a stray dog. "mad dog" but haejoon has changed, in part because of eunyung, so it's no longer who he is. "mad dog" but who is it about?
