ok random twin headcanon time

so in dante's inferno, there's this one part of one of the inner circles of hell (6th? 7th? idk it's been a while) where there's a ton of snakes that can bite people and change their forms into animals, objects, etc. this part of hell is devoted to thieves. (insert obvious metaphor here)

now initially in tdc, there was going to be at least some influence from the divine comedy, as shown in concept art featuring the iconic 'abandon all hope ye who enter here' over the carnival gate. sadly, this did not make it into the final cut.

and twin in tdc is a snake-person, who can shapeshift and change forms, and who primarily deals with greedy sinners which would most likely include thieves...

so it's not far of a stretch at least in my view, that twin would have some kind of venom that, when injected into a sinner, could change their form as well...

this is all headcanon so don't take it too seriously, but it's a fun idea to work with imo. what do you guys think?

Idk why but my idea of writing Pavi's voice is to just have him use absolutely no contractions. Like, having him say "Do not do this to me! I will not be deceived by you, not ever!" or something like that just makes sense to read in his voice to me

been reading a lot of pavi largo fanfic lately because i am down horrendous for that dumbass and i have two main takeaways.

1. people who choose not to emulate his accent in their writing are valid (i’ve tried and it can get annoying, but if you can do it without it getting annoying then more power to you)

2. if you do decide to emulate his accent you can’t just put an ‘a’ after every other word and expect it to make sense. there’s a cadence to it. i’m all for making fun of italian accents but you gotta do it right.

the state is a tiny little cryptid thing

the rive is a monster that spans new york, pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware. also washington crossed it once and that was like kinda a big deal i guess. like crossing the rubicon in rome.

the state tries to me more important with its “im the first state!!!” bs (seriously its even on the fucking license plates) but we all know. its the river.
