This sums up my spiritual journey in 2020. At the beginning of 2020, quite a few changes took place for me (along with everyone else), both externally and internally. Spending a lot of time alone during the pandemic gave me the chance to really find myself, and finally, I feel whole. This transition wasn't easy yet also created a sense of deep peace within me. Beautiful destructions may sometimes have to happen in the things you once found comfort in, or in your career, or even in parts of yourself, to sheds layers of your life that no longer belongs to who you are. Inner growth forever unfolds new discoveries. Some may relate to this short quote. As human beings, we often go through similar experiences, individually.

Standing by me, In times so hard, Being there to see, All of my UNO cards. From sharing the lunch, To having small fights, We sit side by side, In darkness and light. I have spent most of this afternoon, penning my new poem, The Serpent. In its completed form, I hope this poem conveys, to the reader, the important role that mindset plays in the overall devolopment of our own happiness. This thought of yours, It makes me shiver, Not of the fear, But of the love. I want to see you, Everyday in my life, For when you go, I'll be dead inside. I have walked on this path, Where I knew you aren't mine, But, I still thrived. I have seen death, I know how it feels, I have been to the grave, That was dug by me. I didn't want this, I never wanted this to feel. But, I have no control over that, For your heart is clean as sea. The looks you see, Doesn't matter to me, I knew my heart slipped away, The day I saw your deeds.
