I just love how we find breadcrums - I went on a comment section on a DPS post and a comment by SonjaToastbrot led me to this trailer. If you're on tiktok (I am extremely confused as to whether it is back) and Instagram does have reels of the French production which looks FANTASTIC - But this is a trailer of the German production - Hope this is helpful

rough lil essay on why i think canon charlie would be an english teacher!

i think charlie had a stronger bond with mr. keating than people tend to realize. like when the boys first met keating and he was mocking pritchard, you can see charlie's eyes kinda light up and he's thinking "ok this guy's actually cool". keating became a huge guiding light for all of the boys, but imo especially charlie, i think in general he really looked up to keating, especially because both of them were seen as troublemakers in school.

charlie was also already really angry at cameron for betraying them, but what really pushed him over the edge was when cam blamed keating for neil's death. because he understood that what keating really did was help neil live for the first time in his life.

when keating was fired and charlie was expelled, i like to imagine that charlie wouldn't have given up on neil and keating's legacy of "seizing the day". he's already disappointed his parents, so he stops pursuing the career they wanted for him. instead, he decides to become an english teacher to carry on keating's work and try to inspire future generations, hopefully with a better outcome.

summer dps headcanons!

meeks makes the BEST playlists, especially for road trips

they all go swimming in the lake in the evenings before their meetings in the cave

if they're ever in a canoe or rowboat together, charlie definitely tips it and laughs when everyone gets wet

neil and todd go for cute little ice cream dates!

pittsie and his huge family have a summer home that he invites the poets to (i feel like he has a better relationship with his family)

they play sardines in the woods together and todd is by far the best at hiding!

one time they couldn't find him for hours because he was way up in a tree

knox loves beach volleyball but lowkey sucks at it

cameron can actually play really well though

they go to an amusement park and charlie drags them on all the most nerveracking rides

at least one of them definitely throws up

knox collects tourist fridge magnets from all the places they travel to

neil likes to catch frogs at edge of the lake

he always lets them go but he wishes he could keep them, his parents never let him have pets

the poets go camping together and cameron especially is a magnet for mosquitoes

charlie puts sour gummies in his smores and the rest of the poets think it's gross

but knox eventually follows suit
