Here's something different! Lately I've been finding myself in the mood to do more with larger scale vinyl child dolls. I have very few of them in my collection, as I can be rather particular about faces and hairstyles, and the ones I like are often beyond my means to acquire (someday I will have an American Girl doll...). However, today my small family increased by one more, with the addition of Glitter Girls Ciara. She doesn't fit in at all with the aesthetic I tend to gravitate towards with this type of doll, but when I saw her orchid/periwinkle split dye and bright violet eyes I couldn't resist so many purples.

Unfortunately I am rather clueless when it comes to straight hair (all my hair care knowledge pertains to managing curls) but I can do braids! So she got some braids XD Somewhere down the line I might look into giving her a more involved style.

Well here's my little group for now, hanging out next to my desk. They're all all due for a wardrobe upgrade, which I'm in the process of working on, though health issues in the past week have slowed my crochet hook considerably. Hoping things will pick up again in a few days once I've had some time to rest!
