Something I forgot to mention until now is a little detail after you retire Jake early, because it prompts Roger to be like "hey why tf did you do that man" and you can just be a turbo cunt and say it was bc you couldn't stand his broken voice box and Roger just moves on but considering he has a natural stutter and not one caused by a mechanical failure knowing that that was the reason the last guy you knew got put down must be anywhere from uncomfortable to outright nerve-wracking for real.

"The rise treatment" isn't exactly something I would want to emotionally involve myself into intentionally, for one. The constant worry that the show won't get a good ending or will be cut short not because the team isn't competent but because upper management just doesn't care sucks. Plus never knowing when episodes will drop. And often it doesn't really seem to matter how many people rally for the show; if it's arbitrarily decided to be worthless then it's tossed aside. It sucks as a viewer experience lol, and I'm a bit burnt out of riding that kind of roller coaster. (I like supporting the creators but I need something a bit more stable as my next interest iykwim ^^;)

Beyond that... I think everyone experiences this to some degree, and I just experience it very strongly, but if I start with a neutral or slightly disinclined stance towards something and then get it shoved at me too many times when I'm not open to getting into it, it very quickly evolves into strong negative feelings that are hard for me to get over. This unfortunately happened with Monkie Kid right after Rise was canceled, when a lot of people started jumping straight to it and flooding my dash while I was still kind of grieving Rise. (Much to one of my friend's horror lmao they have been trying so hard to get me to watch Monkie Kid for years.)

i already said this but i missed entropy it feels so comfortable. second skin type kin.

i think peter was a bit odd bc while i do kin him i Also kin. an unknown number of peter pans. and the muddling of that was difficult.

entropy is not even associated with a real mythos, the closest specific i have is the i love you virus. but even then its very much a broad thing.

even the small things. getting info and staring off into space while i see various images/travel to a person/look up information/etc. being able to just. seamlessly interact with technology. its a very comfortable way of interacting with the world.

even also just... being more friendly with yan? and having a different sort of conviction and being... well i dont wish to say less selfish as peters last act was an act of sacrifice, albeit a deeply hypocritical one. more. aware of the connections. bigger picture.

being interconnected with things and other people especially other rifts is. i cannot say... just again oddly comforting.

the voice (further back in my throat. softer. if i were better at voiced itd likely be more lilting and... spacey or slow but i am both far too adhd and not skilled enough) even is like... i do not know. soothing in a way.

idk i could go on and likely will after the next session and maybe beforehand but. i did not realize how much easier playing entropy is. almost like its a really big kin or something.
