Lever House, the landmark building designed by Gordon Bunshaft and Natalie de Blois of Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill, in 1952. At Park Avenue and 53rd Street, it changed the nature of the midtown part of the avenue from one occupied by apartment buildings for the wealthy to one lined with glass-fronted office buildings. In the 1980s it was designated a city landmark and added to the National Register of Historic Places.

So I was doing some math, and I THINK Skully is almost as tall as Malleus without his horns

I think the main reference to his height is Epel being surprised they're the same age because he's taller than Sebek, yes? which I find interesting, considering Jade and Malleus -- two of the tallest guys in the main cast -- are also there. and, since I've never been one to not think waaaay too much about the absolute stupidest minutiae about fictional characters, I see two possibilities:

one is that Epel is extremely good at eyeballing heights (I actually do feel like he could be? like. I'd believe he can estimate someone's height fairly accurately by calculating based on the life stages of an apple tree, or how many apples tall they are, or something else apple-related like that.) and Scully does, perhaps, fall into that narrow margin between Sebek and Jade in height.

OR two, out of the three certified Tall Guys there, Sebek is Epel's main frame of reference because he's the only one he's had any real interaction with for, let's be fair, pretty obvious reasons.

SO in conclusion, we still have no concrete answers and will probably have to wait until next year when we get his card profile, alas alas. 😔

I think other people have made this comparison before me but I see SO MANY parallels between Elain Archeron and Yrene Towers.

They both want to bring some good to the world after it's seen war and violence.

They are both told (Yrene by Hasar, Elain by Nesta) that they've grown "claws" or a "backbone", after retaliating to Hasar/Nesta's comments.

They're both individuals who don't want to pick up a sword or fight - and are underestimated because of it. Yrene showed herself to be just as capable as every other character who did fight in ToD and KoA and I can't wait for Elain to also come into her own right.

We saw both characters as "weak" the first time they were introduced (Yrene in TaB, Elain in TaR onwards) but when we do see into their head in their book, we see that they're SO much more than that.

I want Yrene's arc from Elain so bad.

A new puzzle collaboration with Reverie Puzzles this time featuring the characters from Throne of Glass. It was such a delight to work with them again and I’m super proud of how this turned out. I’m definitely biased but my favorite part is probably Abraxos because he is just the best boy. 😌
