Not that it makes up for it, but it is really surreal to see MGA apologize and promise to do better after the disastrous Mean Girls releases.

Especially after years of dealing with Mattel Creations bullshit, where they have a limited release that gets bought out by bots, then turn around and do it all over again without batting an eye.

It's just very funny to me that the first time MGA tried a release method seemingly inspired by Mattel, it ended with an apology.

u know i really appreciate that when dan heng's ancestry (is that the correct term here lmao) was revealed, the express crew didn't take it as a betrayal like i see that so often its ridiculous

they've all just been so kind about stuff, not pushing him to talk about anything, just letting him know they're there if he does ever want to. (there was smth that stuck with me that welt said. i can't remember the exact phrasing but it was like "he's running from something, and we don't know from what, and sometimes i don't think he really know either." they just...they perceive danger, and dan heng is just a stray they picked up along the side of the road but immediately he is family. his past doesn't matter. they're going to protect their own. THEYRE SO !!)

and when he is forced to reveal these things, they're just like "oh is that really u dan heng? u good my bro? aight lets go save the world or whatever!" and he's the one hesitating to include himself in the team, he's expecting to be distanced, but for them, nothing has changed. and nothing has. he's still dan heng, silent but deadly nerd of a big bro and that's how it should be goddammit
