3-days-long girls night: why you need it.

Currently been out of state visiting one of my best friends! I think its so funny how we planned doing so many activities but ended up just hanging out in her house, we've been playing dress to impress and stardew valley, watching not so good movies and drinking champagne! Sometimes you need a 3-day-long girls night to remember who you are and what life is about, right?

When you have a friend that moved out of the state, it can get hard to keep the same level of intimacy or to remember all the new things you have to tell them. I mean, of course we have texting and facetime, but while the evolution of tech is pretty amazing at connecting people, there are things we can only share human-to-human style and it is inevitable to lose a little bit of contact even if we promise not to, which makes me sad sometimes. However, I learned it also means you get to nourish a different type of relationship that can be just as beautiful.

I found it very healing to be able to reconnect with her and having heart to heart girl-talks about all the things that made me cry, laugh and rage about these past months helped me realize new things about myself and what I've been through. Of course you can only understand how big of a shadow work it is after you menage to overcome the anxiety that comes with revisiting old situations... But if you've been looking to heal some stuff and make peace with past situations, try visiting an old friend (bonus points if they live far away), I promise there is so much to learn about you from others!

girlsss, i need your help! my mom's trying to convince me to get into a public all-day school in my country (here this is not common at all, usually it's just 5-ish hours, this one would be 10-ish hours) and i know in usa y'all stay longer at school...i wanted to know how it is, how do y'all survive this shit? maybe gimme some tips? things are really complicated for me on this academic world!
