Giratina and Arceus

If you understand that, I am sorry.

I’ve been sitting on this for like a year because it was a kickoff for a larger au/story. however. I waited so long that I’ve changed the actual story, and Giratina isn’t even involved anymore. I really like this anyways unfinished as it is.

This is LAST TRAINS HOME, which in the original draft was essentially “Emmet makes a deal with the devil to bring Ingo home, Ingo just wants to go back to Hisui because He Lives There”. The current draft has more nuance than that now (and jirachi is involved) and it may become a full fancomic one day.

New AU dropping, boys.

So basically it's a hybrid between the 'toxic chain/possessed Kieran' AU and the 'Kieran is Ogerpon' AU.

In this AU, the events of the teal mask play out normally.

After Kieran looses his fight to Julianna, he starts hearing a mysterious voice in his head. It starts playing with his insecurities and telling him he needs to be stronger.

"That's why the oger didn't want you as a trainer. You were too weak".

Thanks to the voices advise and 'encouragement', Kieran quickly rises through the ranks of the Blueberry League and becomes champion. However, he also becomes a massive jackass.

The voice tell him that everyone is beneath him. He starts bullying other club members until the point were everyone is too imtimidated by him to hang out with him.

He is distant and aggressive towards the Elite 4. He doesn't even attend meetings and barley does any of his champion responsibilities, causing Amarys and Crispin to step up. Lacey was too busy helping Cyrano with academic duties. Drayton dedicated all his time to helping out the trainers Kieran bullied.

Kieran started skipping classes and dedicated all his time to training. The only person who still talked to him was Carmine.

However, after months of trying to reach out, Kieran finally snapes at Carmine, causing her to retreat from him. After this, Kieran finally realises he is truly alone. But thats when the voice makes a deal with him.

He could continue living his life alone and unloved or he could dawn the mask and start a new life. Kieran takes the mask, not fully understanding the deal. He ends up loosing his human form and turning into an Ogerpon. It is then that the voice reveals itself as Pecharunt and it steals Kieran human life.

Because of Kieran's shitty behaviour, he suspended from the academy for one month and 'Kieran' is sent back to Kitikami.

Kieran is left roaming around the Terrarium, dealing with the fact that he is now a pokemon and a whole fuck load of self esteem issues.

However, he is eventually found by Carmine and the new exchange student, Julianna.

Some notes in this AU -

Kieran isn't evil. He's a young child who needs help and the only people who notice are also children themselves. (Carmines doing what she can but she's still young and inexperienced)

Pecharunt has no control over Kierans actions or emotions. He basically says things to Kieran to encourage his negative thoughts and continue his unhealthy downward spiral.

I didn't explain this earlier but when Kieran put on the Ogerpon mask, he left behind a human mask that represents his human form. Pecharunt is currently wearing it.

Pecharunt wants a family again. He woke up many years later to find the old couple he used to live with had died. He wanted a family again but he wanted to live equally among the humans as well. So he started scheming to steal Kierans human life.

His plan just consists of him manipulating Kierans life until he was completely cut off from his friends and family. Once Kieran has nothing, he could trick Kieran into trading him his human life, then he could rebuild Kieran's life from the ground up.

Kieran's not having fun adjusting to life as a pokemon but he believes it's his punishment for being a dick to everyone.

Juliana's meowscarada is called Verde (haven't figured out what the rest of her team consists of yet). Carmine's mightyanna is called Subarashi (Suba for short), her sinistchi is called Chia, morpeko is Kamu and ninetails is Kyu (I used google translate for this, sorry if they're weird). Kieran's furret is called Shippo and his hydrapple is called Ringo.

Fun fact - This plot concept was taken from an old submas fanfic I started writing but never finished. Short summary was Ingo coming back to modern day Unova but he still has amnesia. His and Emmets relationship becomes very strained. Emmets ends up making a deal with Giratina to help turn him into a zorua and use hi illusion powers to get close to Ingo again. (I may post a full summary of the story one day)

Because of this, in the original draft, Kieran was going to turn into a zorua. I changed it just incase I ever wanted to revisits the old fic. Also I thought it would be funny if he turned into ogerpon.

This was heavily inspired by the Kieranpon au, the possessed Kieran au and the movie 'a whisker away'.

Toxic Consequences AU Animatic is Finally Done!

Artist rambles/explanations under the cut

1. Anything that is silhouette is from Kieran's pov or mind, whether it's a dream, or how he views a certain experience or person. His view on how things went is different than what actually happened.

2. The only exceptions are the part with the silhouettes of the Loyal 3 on the signboard with the Ogre (and kinda the Loyal 3 in general). This is due to the signboards looking like that in canon, plus I'm lazy XD.

3. After the initial deal, the colors in the animatic have a purple-ish tint to them, as well as Dokutaro having color. This is intentional.

4. The dream/flashback sequences have more color than the rest of the animatic, again this is intentional.

5. Giratina has a role in the AU, which once I finish the details, I'll explain later. But for now, he can only observe.

6. Kieran has his hairstyle change through time as Dokutaro influences him more.

7. This animatic took like a week to make and I despised every second of it.

8. Dokutaro actually has a backstory here. And while I didn't like how the old couple was in canon, I decided to have fun with it here.

The Hisui Trio in my AU!! :D

I wanted to make reference sheets for the three, even though i took a ton of inspo from many things but its for investment i promise i promise

Those three are friends in this AU, they are all in the present world and they are like a family to each other tbh, they might get into a few arguments but they talk it out later on.

To be fair i think those three would give each other kisses, not in a romantic way though, its just more of a platonic thing i guess??

The three of them own dragon type pokemon, from gen 4, 6 and 8 (me like even numbers dont mind me), i kinda felt like these pokemon fit them best by personality (im not exactly sure for 100%)

Dropping the lore here :

The only way Adaman and Irida could go back and out of Hisui was by Volo taking them with him by going through portals with Giratina, of course the two of them got frightened at the sight of Giratina showing up right in front of their eyes for the first time but they got used to it later on.

As a gift of gratitude from Volo for still being accepted by Adaman and Irida even after everything he's done in the past, he made and gave a clone of Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia to them so that they could also travel through the portals or around the world without his help (he's getting tired from babysitting them pls let him live).

Adaman and Irida just live with Lucas, Dawn and Barry in Twinleaf Town, sometimes Volo comes by to visit them and hang out with them. Lucas and Dawn dont have memories of Rei and Akari, so they have no idea of what Volo used to be back then, if they would then oh boy they would try to kill him.

{With Dialga} Adaman possesses Steel type powers (or Metal Bending as they say), he uses it a lot for combat but also for reaching high places if he cant go up there or reach it by climbing, he bends the metal into a form of a long rope in order to get up there.

{With Palkia} Irida has Water type powers (or Water Bending), she is not really the type of a person to fight but she rather heals others, it also works on pokemon too, though sometimes she can kick ass once in a while if anyone drives her mad.

{With Giratina and Arceus} Volo has all the elements, including Dark type powers but he never uses those as he only sees the bad in them and never wishes to use them, reminding him a lot of Cyrus {bro hates him more than anything}, with Volo being an Archon, he can summon pretty much every pokemon, including the legendaries and mythical ones, and the ultra beasts, even though the legendaries are gods too and are feared by many, Volo however just sees them as misunderstood creatures/beings, as he has a better bond with them than with his own people.

Volo despises humans, he only sees the bad in them as he has only seen the bad things that humans did, and with Volo being isolated in Arceus's realm and being there for about 280 years (met Arceus at 20), he cant really change his opinion about it, even if he has friends that are different than the rest of the humans, Volo still has doubts that humans are good, unless proven to him. Sure, Volo is the archon and savior of this world and he is trying his best to make the world a better with no wars or catastrophies, he hates humans, but he just wants peace, but he is aware that even if this happens one day then the peace wont last forever, the world cant remain peaceful for eternity, theres always going to be something happening all the time and he will have to deal with it on his own.

At some point last year, I came up with my design for a Giratina-Volo hybrid. I recently decided to start referring to him as Distortion Volo (I was just calling him Gira!Volo before, but that's basically the JP ship name for Giratina/Volo so I wanted to get away from it).

I'm pretty sure that Giratina is based off of centipedes, but centipedes are NOT hot to me (sorry if you like centipedes, you're still valid though) so I drew inspiration from snakes for his design. There's just something so appealing about naga Volo. <3

The idea of a Gira-Volo hybrid first came up in the volokari server. During this conversation, I doodled this rough little comic to illustrate the potential application of spooky ghost tendrils in a horror setting.

From this point on, I could not stop thinking about Distortion Volo. I quickly came up with an AU for him. I've only been able to get out a few ideas in sketches/drawings, but I have SO MANY IDEAS for this silly danger noodle.

Even though the initial doodle was more horror-themed, because I'm me, this AU eventually turned into a silly romcom about Dawn and her weird eldritch abomination bf.

I won't go into too much detail but here are the basics for this AU.

It takes place post game PLA. Volo works through his conflicting feelings for Akari/Dawn and basically goes from obsessive and jealous to obsessive and possessive. Dawn is depressed and wants to return to her original time, so Volo strikes a deal with Giratina and fuses with them, allowing him to use Gira's power to bring Dawn back to modern Sinnoh. From there it's mostly just silly hijinks with Dawn and her weird monster guy who clings to her whether she likes it or not.

Unfortunately, some of my Distortion Volo art is too spicy for tumblr so I can't share it here. But whenever I draw some sfw danger noodles, I'll be sure to share them here!

Izuku Midoriya's Type Hero Notes Volume 1: The Pitch Black Hero: Darkrai.

Quirk: Bad Dreams. Puts people to sleep and gives terrible nightmares.

Type: Dark

Number 2 on the list of heroes that look like villains, not many people know he actually did used to be a villain (unlike the number 1 on that list The Renegade Hero: Giratina). Bullied and neglected for a "Villainous" Quirk, he eventually snapped and in a panic put an entire town to sleep with his now patented Special move Dark Void and went on to do that to many other towns. It was only through the intervention of his then nemesis now wife The Lunar Hero: Cresselia, with her Quirk Lunar Blessing, that he was stopped and was able to go through the Antihero program to redeem himself.

Strengths: Like all heroes and villains with Type based Quirks he is more effective in battle against those with a Type weak to him like Ghost or Psychic. His sleep abilities also make it so he needs to be dealt with quickly or the fight ends on the spot. He's extremely fast but prefers ranged combat. Functions better in the shadows

Weaknesses: Bug, Fighting and Fairly based Quirks but he wouldn't be a Pro hero if he didn't have ways to deal with those. Not as effective in the light. His wife ironically enough can hard counter him despite being Psychic herself.

Encountered: Stopping a mugging in a dark alley on my way home. Seemed surprised I knew so much about him yet wasn't scared in the slightest. Though given most people with Dark type Quirks are seen as automatically evil and thus end up being the villains they say they are it makes sense and that's not even considering his actual past. Got his autograph!!!! He's way nicer than people think. Look forward to working with him when I'm a hero.

Hello hello! For yall that don't know me, I'm Billy or Sataara, either is fine, and I read a lot of submas fics so I decided to make a list of some recommendations that I have! A few things about me is that I can't deal with unhappy endings, heavy angst and/or any pairings where both brothers are with someone else (also no bl/nkship), so if you're looking for any of these types of fics, I'm sorry but you won't find it here :/

That aside, I'll make more than one post since this was getting kind of long, this first one are just multi-chapter fics! Most of these are either reunion fics or Ingo living after getting back from Hisui, with some exceptions! This fic got me hooked from start to finish, I was up until 5am at one point because I just couldn't put it down. Reunion with a lot of bumps in the road that only make the story more interesting and flashbacks that only add context making the fic more robust.

Legends, ponderances, and then some. by An_Ephemeral_Walk

Of all the lands, all the regions, all the timelines, it was Unova that was chosen. It was Unova that was the first to lose someone to a mythical being outside the domain of Truth and Ideals. It was Unova that fell victim to the being already tormenting both the Sinnoh of now, and the Hisui of then. While it wouldn't be Truth or Ideals that would ultimately lead Giratina to regretting going along with Volo, it would learn the taste of regret and defeat all the same in many flavors. Stealing the partner of a fiery ghost is a lesson not learned yet, but it will be. Oh, it will be.

Settling back home isn't easy, but there are always people who stand behind him, particularly his precious little brother who missed him so dearly.

But talking about this fic in specific, the concept uses a common trope but the way it's used is fresh and so intriguing! I kept reading each chapter as soon as I got the notification, I cried happy tears reading it.

It's by complete happenstance that Emmet stumbles upon his blog, having taken on cooking as a hobby during Ingo's absence.

A while ago during my Sketchtember escapade, I made yet another AU with Highlands shipping as somewhat of a focus, but mostly it's like this:

Cresselia and Giratina posses Melli and Ingo respectively and they get into such shenanigans that Dialga and Palkia call up on Adaman and Irida to essentially tell them "Guys, they are too silly, you need to stop them because if we were ti come and do it, we would just beat our sibling into lasagna and your region would be gone so please deal with our f- up."

The tomfoolery includes:

1. Acting very out of character yet making everyone in Hisui believe that they are the people they are pretending to be.

2. Deciding to go on a vacation to Unova to see their old friend Victiny.

3. Adaman can't use a map for the life of his.

4. The legendaries channeling their powers through full! Pokéballs just to make the Pokémon in them match their aesthetic.

5. 2 people being so gay for eachother, they almost make the 2 legendaries kiss.

I don't actually know how would I end the story for real, all I came up is an in character of the AU but Idk how funny ending where Zekrom just yells "DIVORCE! NOW!" and Cresselia and Giratina are forced to leave the bodies they possessed.

Also when it comes to the Pokémon, I'm actually thinking about drawing that for real and even got like... A gimmick for these forms.

For Melli's Cresseliad Pokémon it's that they get bulkier (more HP + 1 of the defences boosted + they can still attack while using Rest).

Ingo's Giratinad Pokémon would actually mimic what happens when Giratina changes form and simply put, the offensive and defensive stats swap.

Realizing I don't post a lot of my art because it's 99% silly little aus, so lemme share some more silly little au art

Au ficlet I never finished (ongoing-ish) with some spice where Volo fuses with Giratina as a last ditch effort to beat Haru. Haru is given the open to be his warden and convince him there's good in the world worth protecting (there was no real second option) and Volo preys on Haru's loneliness and isolation. Technically never faced Arceus which saved his life tbh.

Their energy by present day is very "divorced"

He is still Volo's warden though, so when Cyrus manages to ensnare Giratina!Volo, Haru shows up and possibly beats him to death with a pipe

MONSTERS AU (started by @desertparallel )

Haru is a construct that was created to deal with monsters (think MIB) but he tries to mask himself as human. In reality he's the entity inside a magic mirror (mirror mirror on the wall etc) that was put in a body because if the body gets too damaged he just goes back to his mirror and there's no human life lost.

Volo is a vampire that doesn't know he's not a human and is so so afraid of accidentally hurting him. Lysandre is a vampire Haruko has been keeping tabs on for thirty years and they are assholes to each other. Lysandre doesn't consider him a real person because he was never technically alive.
