It looks so damn stylish, you should know! I always was too sensitive to Creature’s story in book, and when I saw it staged… damn⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️

you don't even have to ask for it, he just knows when you need it

*Big sigh* 😔He clearly would... And if you like honey in it? This man would fight bears just to find some in the wild for you...

You were sitting on the cot of your shared tent. You didn't know exactly why but you were feeling kind of blue tonight. Maybe it was because you didn't do as well as you would have liked as you wanted in that stagecoach robbery you told everyone you would handle. Or maybe you were just tired...

Your head felt too heavy to carry, and it dragged you to lie on the cot just like an anchor dropped to the Ocean. You were about to drift of to sleep, dark thoughts mixing in your head, like the opaque eddies of a muddy pond, when you heard footsteps heading to you.

"Oh, sweetheart..." Arthur whispered to you, sitting on the edge of the bed next to your legs. His eyes were full of care and worry, he didn't expect you to be already in bed. "Here, I made you a cup o' tea. Jus' how you like it."

You slowly got up on your elbow to grab the cup, your heart warming up just as much as your hands when you took it. Arthur looked at you as you put your lips on it, a small grin of his own on his face, as if waiting for something. You instantly smiled against the cup, recognizing your favorite kind of tea mixed with...

"Did you... Did you put honey in it?" You asked with a still tired voice, but surprise and amazement winning the best of it. "How did you manage to find some?!"

Your eyes were sparkling with happiness and wonder. He thought it was one of the best view he ever had the chance to see.

"Ah, I found a beehive today in the forest. Had to beat the Hell out of a damn bear for it, but I win."

Your mouth dropped.

"You're joking, right?"

Arthur laughed deeply and answered your question with a sniffle, his chest still slightly rising from chuckling. "No am not darlin'." He then nodded his head to the corner of your tent where he had put his riffles, his satchel, and... An enormous bear's pelt.

"You're... Unbelievable." Your eyes went back to him, heart pounding at the fact this man had seen a beehive in the wild guarded by a bear, thought that yeah, ma girl likes honey in her tea, and just shot the beast and skinned it.

"Anything for ma sweet girl."

Arthur then put a small kiss on your forehead, seemingly satisfied his gift was appreciated. You were savoring it as if it was pure gold. You would have to thank him properly for it. For starters, a nice massage before sleep could be a good idea...

can't stop thinking about Dmitri choosing what Sergei wears for the birthday dinner; especially because he does it in a manner that is so indescribably hot to me. (the way he looks him up and down, smiles almost condescendingly, but is clearly excited, tells him off for wearing what he does and wanting to stay in, almost whining about how it's his birthday and so obviously Sergei has to comply, already having a fitting suit ready at hand, etc.)

and so I'm just over here and absolutely running with that because nobody can tell me that Dmitri wouldn't do that with his partner, as well.

just- Dmitri choosing your outfit when he's going out with you (or for other occasions, or even generally), and you're both loving it because it's casual yet intimate, and it's also a great act of love and affection because in order to dress somebody in a way that makes them comfortable and happy you have to know them so deeply that it's transcending.

do you ever think about how lucanis keeps losing and losing and losing — his entire life? losing his parents, losing his childhood because of the crow training, losing his freedom, his sleep, and one year of his life due to imprisonment. then the maker smiles upon him, and he's discovering something good (rook, the veilguard team, purpose), acquiring something back (his family, his life, his freedom, his job, his city), finding some peace in mundane things (coffee, cooking, taking care of others). it feels like the scales are finally moving, balancing — only for him to lose again. he loses caterina, he can lose his city to blight, he loses at weisshaupt, he loses grip on himself (thanks to spite), he loses control — he loses himself, piece by piece. rook can help lighten the load on his chest (thanks to spite), he gets caterina back, and breathing feels a little bit easier. but loss is not done with him. he loses illario, and it feels like losing a limb, a large piece of himself violently torn away. he's visibly shaken, but no one truly knows what it takes to string the assorted pieces of himself together and keep functioning. and then loss deals what seems like the final blow: some of his friends are dead or lost, and rook is gone, too. he failed; he only knows death, doesn't he? life only takes, and takes, and takes, giving only to tease and take it back. at that moment, he's falling apart completely — until they find rook, and there's a sliver of hope once again. the scales are moving, the team wins, they eventually go back to their lives — and that's when he realizes that the final blow is the life as the first talon.

Been a minuteeeeeee

College has started up for me and people were NOT lying about the “adjustment period”. It’s definitely a learning curve and my mental health has been fluctuating so much. I haven’t forgotten abt this blog tho or @ask-corrupted-sticks . I want to get back to interacting with yall again!!! I really miss it, and honestly, I need it. Going back to tumblr-ing kinda gives me that “home away from home” feeling while I’m dormed up over here. Feel free to send in any questions (can’t answer with a drawing for now tho 😭 but you WILL get a lil text response)!!
