Before everything possibly blows up today, I wanna say some stuff.

Every piece of fanfiction and fanart made for this ship is still art, and in my opinion, should be kept up (not forcing). You didn’t know that they were brothers at the time. If you don’t want it connected to your name, maybe label it as “Made before they were brothers” and orphan it on AO3.

About a year ago, I started reading fanfiction. The first ones I ever remember reading are “There Are Thorns On The Roses They Throw” (by @lightning-and-sparks) and “Address me, Your Majesty” (by @ssstarlighttt). Notice how both of these are pretty much Jacklust/Wanderrose centered fanfictions? Yeah.

Around 6 months ago, I started writing fanfiction, and this fanfiction had the ship in it. Even though it wasn’t the main focus of the fic, it had a big enough impact on the story in the long-run, to where I am unsure if I will ever finish it. Less than a month ago, I released another fanfiction. This one, similarly to the other one, was not focused on the ship, But it also had a big enough impact on the story. I may not ever finish this one either.

No matter what, I am pretty sure that I am keeping both of my fanfictions up. I am planning to just tag them as “written before they were brothers”. Another reason that I’m unsure if I will finish them is that I do not write quickly. By the time I finished both of them, I would not be surprised if Just Dance 2026 Edition has been announced.

I have read so many Jacklust/Wanderrose fanfictions, and each and every one has been a masterpiece - one that someone put hours into thinking about, and hours forming that into words to end up sharing with the community. Same goes for the fanart. I thank everyone for their contributions to this ship.

I would love to make a list of shout-outs to all the amazing fanfiction writers, but that would take a very long time, as there is so many. I wish us all the best luck for today.
