A A24 divulgou novos pôsteres de MaXXXine, último filme da trilogia de terror que conta com X - A Marca da Morte e Pearl.

O elenco da produção conta com o retorno de Mia Goth, além do elenco também contar com Moses Sumey, Elizabeth Debicki, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Halsey, Giancarlo Esposito e Kevin Bacon.

No último filme da trilogia, Mia Goth volta como Maxine, a única sobrevivente do ataque ocorrido em X - A Marca da Morte, e que continou sua jornada em direção à fama. Veremos a sua jornada rumo à fama para se tornar uma atriz de sucesso em Los Angeles na década de 1980, mas acaba sendo atormentada por uma série de assassinatos em série. A forte ligação com Hollywood já era esperado, como já indicou o anúncio do filme feito pelo estúdio.

MaXXXine tem direção de Ti West, que também foi responsável pelos outros dois filmes da trilogia. A produção será uma continuação direta de X – A Marca da Morte e manterá Mia Goth como protagonista.

X – A Marca da Morte já pode ser assistido no Prime Video, enquanto Pearl está disponível no TeleCine.

MaXXXine estreia no dia 11 de julho.

Dragon Con saw the galaxy descend on Atlanta, and joining Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Danny Trejo, and Manny Jacinto onstage was Moff Gideon actor Giancarlo Esposito, who discussed a number of topics including his own thoughts on the future of the franchise, leading with The Mandalorian and its characters leaping from the small to silver screen, perhaps in a trilogy of films. "As in the MCU…Disney will figure out how to join all of these characters into one really great movie or TV show. That's my sense of where it will go," Giancarlo Esposito explained to the crowd. The actor added that "Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau have a new vision, continuing on with a Mandalorian movie…My sense is that it's all going to converge at one point or another and we're going to have another set of… [a] trilogy, or more, of films." We know Favreau is knee-deep in filming The Mandalorian & Grogu, with a Filoni film to follow, and along with the forthcoming second season of Ahsoka and the upcoming Skeleton Crew who knows - perhaps the two films will expand into a trilogy of Mando-related adventures.
