#ghostbusters: frozen empire spoilers

Yall, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire was soooo good. Spoiler warning kind of so if you haven’t watched it yet maybe skip this.

I only really watched this for Finn Wolfhard, and I haven’t watched the other ones (you’re allowed to make fun of me, sorry yall). I was surprised by how little screen time Trevor had, but he was kind of annoying anyway. I really liked Phoebe and Nadeem. And no one can disagree with me on this, but I think Phoebe 100% had a crush on Melody (ghost girl) and wanted to become a ghost for a little while just so she could kiss her or something along those lines. I will not be taking any criticism.

Gotta say, subjecting yourself to expiramental science just so you can be on the same plane of existence as your ghost definitely-more-than-a-friend, getting betrayed by said ghost definitely-more-than-a-friend, and still definitely wanting to kiss them before they move on to the "particles of the universe". Seems kinda Gay.

Thank you to Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire for making it canon that the Ghostbusters actually did do a song and music video with Ray Parker Jr. as advertisement for their services.

I whole-heartedly believe that it was Janine's idea and she lost her mind watching Egon and Peter grumble about it while Ray and Winston have the time of their lives.

That feeling when you temporarily turn into a ghost so you can be on the same temporal plain as your Ghost Girl Friend but then your Ghost GF is actually working for the Big Bad Guy because she thinks its the only way she can get to the otherside to be with her family (they all died, she accidentally burnt down their house) and she tricked you into becoming a ghost (temporarily) so the Big Bad Guy could control you and make you release him from his trap. He then sets out to end the world and almost kills your entire family but then Ghost GF has a change of heart and actually helps save you and your family (using the same thing that killed her family, this is her unfinished business and so she can now move on) and like you didn't even get to have your first kiss.

Ghostbusters Frozen Empire AU where Melody stays in the living world as a ghost and becomes part of the firehouse crew. Shes a ghost so she can interact with other ghosts physically and she uses this to fight Slimer from time to time like he's some feral raccoon in the attic eating their snacks because Trevor brought up how he keeps stealing them

Phoebe working on her pack at like 1am (She's a Spengler, being a workaholic is in her blood) and suddenly she hears crashing from the attic followed by Melody screaming "GET YOUR OWN TRASH" and Slimer grumbling

Or maybe every now and then she goes to the mayors office to fuck with Peck for the fun of it just to keep him on his toes and he is about 20 seconds away from having a heart attack at any given moment because of it. Ray reading the news talking about how city hall might be haunted and he looks at Phoebe like "you wouldn't happen to know anything about this would you"
