If I were a Pokémon gym leader...

-SPECIALTY: Water Type💦

-OUTFIT: It may not have much to do with my element, but these clothes are similar to the ones I usually wear. Not all gym leaders wear outfits that are related to their types. Plus, they have blue all over them. If anything, you can imagine I'm wearing a swimming suit underneath.

-AESTHETIC (MY VIBES): I may be a water type specialist, but that doesn't mean I spend all day doind activities related to it. I actually prefer to stay at home and chill. However, I do enjoy swimming and it helps that I live next to the sea.

-BATTLEFIELD: Since I couldn't come up with my favorite field, you can look at these examples I found on the Internet and picture it in your mind. All in all, there would be a huge inner pool with different depth levels, with also some space to fight out of the water.

-TEAM:

Draco, the Gyarados. Having one always does you good. The name speaks for itself.

Georgina, the Araquanid. I really like it and wanted some Alola representation. I once had an araquanic in one of my lockes in Pokemon Indigo, so I wanted to honor her here.

Angel, the Lapras. I was gonna pick Milotic but this one can gigantamax so... The name has no explanation. A pretty name for a pretty creature.

Babosa, the Gastrodon. Same. Swampert was going to be in this spot, but I already had chosen one starter. For those who don't know, 'babosa' literally translates into slug.

Pancho, the Ludicolo. The 'lightning rod' pokemon. I think his name needs not a translation.

Alejandro, the Quaquaval. My starter because I like the design and I'm Spanish, and the name because I love Lady Gaga.

-BADGE: Yeah, I know what you're thinking. I had no imagination left at this point.

Thoughts while reading The Trials of Apollo - “The Dark Prophecy” with my nephew-

1. I still cannot get over the name Lester for Apollo

2. Even after being humbled a bit, he is still the cockiest bastardized out there

3. I love the idea of Leo just having a good time with his girlfriend and his dragon and helping a God out and then there is Calypso and Apollo just snarking at each other the whole time

4. I love Calypso so much- just straight punches someone, breaks her hand, and almost immediately says fuck it and kicks someone and breaks her foot. I just really identify with this

Today I decided cath bus again but was worry when will stone Rd close? The group of them get through Thanksgiving, Christmas and Kate's daughter, Annabelle's, birthday party, but not without Kate feeling as if she is slowly losing her mind. When the police find her mother's bracelet, along with a cell phone, inside of Simon's office, this convinces Kate, along with everyone else, that he is the guilty party in murdering her mother. Simon is arrested, and Blaire's true colors come forward.

For years, Blaire thought her birth mother had abandoned her to go to Hollywood, leaving her behind with her father. When her mother never returned for her, her father remarried, eventually sending her off to boarding school where she met Kate, along with her parents Lily and Harrison. They accepted Blaire without question, inviting her to spend summers with them, before eventually asking if she'd like to live with them full time. In general, Kate's parents became her parents.

It wasn't until two days before Lily's murder that the truth came out: she WAS Blaire's birth mother. After a one-night stand left Lily pregnant, she gave that baby up for adoption. A year and a half later, she had Kate and kept her. It was a secret that Lily held onto for several years, never telling a soul including her own husband. The father of Blaire was her best friend's husband, also the father of Kate's other best friend Selby.

When Georgina, Selby's mother, went to the house the night of Lily's murder, which she vehemently denied until her driver confessed to having taken her there because Simon and Kate had been good to him over the years, Georgina announces that they had gotten into an argument when Lily confessed their indescretions, which led to Georgina pushing her and Lily falling. Wanting to make the murder look like a breakup, Georgina thought she had taken the correct steps to cover her tracks, but had failed.

Because of what happened, and believing that Kate was trying to keep Lily from her, Blaire began sending her the threatening messages, though she denies this to police and is never formally charged with any wrongdoing in the end. Blaire attempts to kill Kate by setting the house on fire, but has a change of heart and rescues her.

In the end, Blaire returns to New York, but actually has had a nervous breakdown, landing her in a psychiatric institution, though she is under the assumption that after she and her husband, Daniel, had divorced, she would attempt writing on her own but her writing was deemed not good, so she turned to acting. Blaire's breakdown leads her to believe that she is now a well-known actor, and is married to a prolific producer and director in Hollywood.

Kate goes to visit with Blaire eventually, and Enid, Blaire's stepmother, tells her the truth, that Blaire was always trying to sabotage her marriage to her father, and that it was HIS decision to send her away, not hers. Kate begins to understand why she was always acting so strangely, but since they are half-sisters, wants to try to make amends. Enid explains that it is best to just take her lead.

This book was a bit of a doozy. I gave it 4 stars because I always enjoyed Constantine's books, but I feel like this book was ALL over the place with its plot, and was a tad bit boring. I figured out it was Blaire about halfway through the book, but I kept going anyway. I was a bit disappointed in the long run, but overall, it was quite enjoyable.
