CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

Clay Nickel is based on Clank from Disney Fairies. He is a 24 year old sparrow man, construction worker, and uses he/him pronouns. He has the power of flight and tinkering. Clay is portrayed by Nathan Alexis and he is open. 

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

When someone mentioned fairies, Clank would probably not be the first picture to come to mind. He had rough hands, he wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, he wasn’t dainty and elegant, and he could be rather clumsy; that’s how he got his nickname, because you could always hear him coming. But none of that meant he wasn’t good at what he did. While his off the wall ideas could be hit or miss, many of them proved to be useful in preparation for spring. Like his rocket launcher that shot seeds out quicker than anyone could plant them by hand. What he lacked in book smarts, he more than made up for in creativity. He lived a simple life in Pixie Hollow, all of the fairies working together tirelessly to keep the seasons moving along, but not so much that he didn’t have time to build his friendships, and relationship with his very best friend. It was the life Clank had always known, and he was happy with the way things were. He could have never imagined it would change so quickly, without rhyme or reason. He remembered vividly waking up on a bench in a park he didn’t recognize, though he couldn’t remember how he’d gotten there. Clank might not have been the smartest guy, but he was sure that kind of thing wasn’t normal. It took half a day of wandering around town in circles to run into his boyfriend and soon their other friends, and that was enough to put him somewhat at ease. He continued to work on his random inventions, selling them in Mary’s shop when she opened it, and he tried to go about life like things were normal. He knew if Bobble couldn’t figure it out, no one could, but Clank missed home. He missed the way things used to be. He missed not having a conventional job. He may not have fit in perfectly with the other fairies, but he certainly didn’t feel like he fit in with the humans. Don’t get him wrong, Evermore is a nice little town. Unfortunately it’s a town that Clank doesn’t feel like he was ever meant to belong in.

I HAD A FEELING SO PECULIAR

❀ Ralph Rackett: He’s worked with him on a few projects. Ralph has taken cleared areas for buildings Clay’s team were paid to put down. He seems like a nice enough guy... but with a short fuse. ❀ Anna Arikoğlu: Outside of Bobble, of course, he would say Anna is his very best friend. She doesn’t make him feel dumb or out of place, and her laughter is contagious. She’s one of few people he thinks he would miss if they were to get out of here. ❀ Dawn Bellwether: He didn’t know it was possible, but she’s almost too nice. He really enjoys talking to Dawn, but there is something off-putting about how much she seems to care.

This is one of my favorite scenes on the show, Castle. The look on Nathan Fillion's face is priceless. And when Castle says I'm Crichard Cratchel, I lose it. I'm still giggling. 🤣🤣😍 I've, actually, read Naked Heat. They publish Richard Castle's books in real life, and you can get them at your local library. I prefer the Nikki Heat books over the Derrick Storm books. They're all entertaining. I love that they published a fictitious author's books from a TV show, and you can, actually, read them. I think that awesome!! 😁😍

Last part for the 5x16 commentary. What I found interesting here was what Molly said about this scene - that it was the first time that Alexis was being affectionate towards Kate

I'm not sure if she meant the first time ever in the show or the first time since Kate and Castle got together. Because I was so sure in my mind that Alexis and Kate hugged previously before 😂 but I'm also not that curious to check... yet haha please let me know though if you know the answer haha thank you 🤍
