Jackpotshipping is unlikely. They've gone through the hassle of raising their "MK" and currently are trying to take care of Luzhen. Honestly they're happy with Li Yunxiang and their kids. CherryandOliveStones though? After they've figured out that they can make kids together (naturally and through clay-egg-projects), they would def plan for more. Cherry would think aloud like;

Cherry, holding baby Xiaoshi: "Man, I'm gonna be so bummed when the Pebble is too big to be carrying around like this." :( Olive, light-heartedly: "True... but once he's large enough and running around on his own two feet, we can think about making him a little sibling for us to carry." So yeah, the moment any empty-nest feelings kick in; Cherry and Olive are doing terrible things Ghost (1990)-style and making more baby monkeys. Xiaoshi probably gets slammed with the news of a baby sibling(s) when he's like... a toddler cus his parents could barely hold themselves back.

These songs are the trailers/animatics in my head so uh. It's kind of hard to explain them without that (which is why I literally CAN NOT) for a couple of them lol. Oh!!!! And I've also got some other songs that really should've made the playlist but I just didn't add for some reason. Laziness or whatever. One's literally called birthday party. I uh. Don't think I need to explain that one.

But also I just like, whatever who cares if some of the songs on there aren't ones I 100% associate w what we want so here's the full playlist live your dreams. Most of them I associate at least a moderate bit. BUt under here is the fucking essay I've somehow written lmao I lost my mind somewhere along the way.

WHAT YOU GONNA DO??? By Bastille and Graham Coxon is first on the playlist for a reason. It's sort of like, similar to the rocking feeling of what being cramped on the subway was like to me? And it's a song that's pretty obvious with the lyric comparisons. The 'you' in the title IS you! What are you gonna do? You have us (Gotham, the world, the batfam) listening, so what are you gonna do with it? And it matches readers future response quite well I think. And it feels like something that a superhero would have in the background, which certainly helps.

Keep You Mine by NOTD and Shy Martin was actually just one of those songs you were listening to on loop at the time you were doing a thing, and then became intrinsically linked to that thing, but it still represent WWW quite well! It matches more so the later acts of the story, where you and the boys will have some issues staying together with eachother. But it's still poppy and romantic in tone!! Because you guys and your relationship, despite everything that'll happen, you want to keep each other y'know? And reader's like possessive and jealous in a cutesy way to offset how absolutely psycho bonkers the guys will end up being... But I also feel this too matches the superhero vibes? Somehow? The fight on of it... You must keep fighting, for each other!

Tinfoil Hat by Dolo Tonight is like,,, about the frustration of being a Gotham resident I suppose (or anyone living in late stage capitalism with a mental illness) but especially you! Since you totally fucking got ripped from one universe to another and um, i don't know if you've noticed this yet but... there seems to be some issues with readers idols??? Seeing as you love the waynes but hate the bats. Please duck under the comically large chekov's gun and come this way. Also because reader for a little bit does geniunely think she's crazy and need to go to the psychiatrist but obviously thinks that is the worst idea ever because the gotham mental health system is really just prison. and it's a prison with her nemesis. not the place to be.

Live, Learn, Die by Lavin is pretty obvious too, but in a much sadder tone. Reader as a character has at this point come to a conclusion that I'm sure many of us do in their lifetime (I know I have at least) which is that... things suck, and then you die. She doesn't want to die, but she doesn't really particularly actually want to live, she's just so damn focused on survival she's never actually even had the time to realise that. This other version of her who didn't have 24/7 adrenaline running in her body was obviously significantly worse off and seemed... off. If everyone you love is dead, is surviving for them even worth it anymore? She's still learning, so maybe she'll learn something different this time...?

Thelma + Louise By Bastille is a song about a scene that I am so damn eager to get to which unfortunately is in act fucking 3 which is my favourite but like. Suffering I am suffering :) Anyways I can't tell you too much about it because of but I will say that it's a road trip between you, Dick and Jason! It's very fun and absolutely no complex feelings are involved whatsoever. You meet Lucy the giant elephant (actual roadside attraction in new jersey lmfao). This song is Dick Grayson coded in like... mostly sunny vibes. Like the warmth the song gives, that's how you make him feel.

Temper Temper by LimeCordiale is a song that is about... you and Jason... and his poor poor habit of enabling you. 'Me and my girlfriend that I let do whatever she wants to me because shes hot' core. Bruce sees the two of you in the landing and gets immediate d10 psychic damage it's impressive. You were stuck, absolutely. Despite trying to break out of poverty, out of your circumstances, fortune simply wouldn't smile on you. And again, that other you seemed to reflect that stagnancy. She wasn't going anywhere either. In my head I see the two of you dancing like marionettes alone on your stages alone, unable to fight against the strings pulling at you. It's only till you start dancing with eachother, till the strings start tangling that you start getting any freedom. That you're able to start getting anywhere. Maybe being set off course was the best thing that could happen to both of you?

You're really just a civilian, you're not that important in the grand scheme of things... But why do you like them? It's for such stupid reasons. It's because of the way Damian reads romance novels and Jason never properly tapes his nuckles and Dick has a stupid bleeding heart so he keeps taking too many hours at the Bludhaven pet rescue and Tim always fucking sends you the new york wordle, connections, crossword and spelling bee first thing in the morning and then asks if you want any help when he knows you want to do it on your own and- Every single moment of you is done with such love and sincerity and heart and they can't help but fall in love again and again and again. I haven't finished MYM myself despite enjoying the first G5 movie. Partially because I find it a little too babyish in comparison (which y'know, its fine that it's targetted towards littler kids, although G4 and Bluey prove you don't HAVE to dumb it down to be fun, educational, and memorable), and because I really dislike the choice to make Opaline the reason ponies turned on each other. Like yeah, it wasn't PERFECT but idk, as a black person I think the first movie at least got closer to addressing bigotry by showing it isn't JUST antagonists like Sprout and Phyllis spouting off bigoted shit- even the good guys Sunny and Izzy had preconcieved notions of the other races too! But going "Nah, nah actually this random alicorn brought back racism because evil" reaaaally cheapens it. But moving onto my point: what do you think about Opaline? I'm curious to see your opinion. :3c

i ended up watching the rest with my little cousins (who coincidentally are how i started watching bluey lol) and was...disappointed. it wasn't much of a love letter to g4 as i think they wanted it to be and as a plotline on its own, it's weak and doesn't really hold the thematic relevance that at the very least even the weakest g4 villains had. it's cute, but i can't blame people for finding it so hollow when g4 genuinely managed to pack a lot of wit, care, and geniune passion into its writing (ah. before um. the final seasons that is. ppl are talking about cozy glow again on twitter and im reminded of The Agonies).

yeah, was not impressed by "bigotry is ackshually caused by One Bad Person". i'm not asking for an indepth examination of structural bigotry from thy miniature equus, but i think a lot of cartoons and things for kids have been able to take these concepts and present these more complex ideas in ways that can still be understood. one could say, it's better if we let kids understand these things as how they are than dumb it down.

since im a person who like to make aus that does not fit with the canon at all, im gonna go all batshit with this one lets go. i havent made proper aus in a long time hhhh

They're gonna be humans in this AU, because I have no idea how to incorporate planes in a setting like this. (also i think it may or may not fit since 'advanced tech'...does not really exist. it isn't set during old times though, it doesn't have a clear time period because it isn't set in our earth.)

The characters don't have clear designs, but FYI, I'm personally going to use my own gijinka designs for visuals like 'screenshot redraws' in this.

This world is filled with islands, but without a clear bridge between them. So the only and the safest way of transportation is with, well, ships. This includes supplies too.

Pist, one of the small islands, took charge of transferring supplies to the other islands due to its location, under the name of "World Delivery". "WD" in short. (the reason for that is the amount of way to the other islands are pretty much same. Although visitors are not really common in the island, even if it's in the center of the whole ocean. It's not a touristic place. People prefer going to Gire, or Dimdi.)

Jimbo-Sky-Storm are 3 of the residents in Pist, and they are in the charge of this delivering organization. Jimbo is the head of it, Sky and Storm are second-hands.

A client sends a letter to WD about what they want, and boom. If there are smaller orders, they'll be sent by small ships. If the order clashes with a supply delivery, it'll be sent with a big delivery ship. Still fast. (residents of pist usually go to there themselves to order. its close)

There is a factory in Pist to produce the supplies (although rumors say the trio uses an extra deal to make their delivery items because there are almost no workers in the factory...)

Storm manages the factory, Sky is in the charge of managing the delivery ships.

There are many ships that work directly for World Delivery HQ (most of them being Pist residents), but there are freelancer ships that come to help them from time to time.

(I divided them in a quite strange way honestly, because I didn't want to seperate the s1 quartet or some 'squads' sorry xP Also FYI: there are many ships. So they don't only consist SW characters. Think of them as...extras? yeah that. i wanna make them go on a long trip once and i dont wanna put wd out of business)

The main ships in the AU (not all of them work in Pist but when they pass by they do work for them sometimes. i was gonna put them all under the same workplace but then scrapped that)

Speedy (they're still working on the name. the other three teases the hell out of jett because of this): Consists of only Jett, Dizzy, Donnie, Jerome. Smallest ship with a crew of only 4 people. They reside in Pist, and they're the only ship out of all the SW ships that is actively working for WD.

(well, except for the time they all suddenly disappeared one day on a journey. Turns out they sneaked out.)

Neptune: Mira, Bello, Swampy, Wily, Sparky, Neo. They never stay on islands, instead they live in their ship. It's bigger than Jett's, so it has extra rooms for other things like a greenroom. Speaking of, the crew has a reputation of making herbs and medicines due to their master use of plants (thanks to the captain and her first mate.) They pass Pist by all the time, and help them deliver things, mainly medicine.

Goldstar: Paul, Kim, Badge, and numerous other officers. They're a security ship, and Blackbird is number 1 on their hit list. They're usually sent by Miz, to catch thieves and sometimes to hunt monsters. (But the crew of Goldstar has no idea about what Miz is doing after they hand over the criminals or the monsters, because they're constantly on missions.)

Although their beef with Blackbird's captain is a personal case, not Miz's (mostly for Paul).

Loyalty: Grand Albert's restored historical ship. He travels between islands, along with his students (the top student being Narae) He used to be a famous adventurer that fought thieves who stole artifacts and returned them to their homeland, but now he retired and in prefarence of a slow, peaceful life. He's now sailing a ship-library and is open to visitors. Somehow pirates don't get too close to him.

He also has a granddaughter named Ellie (who is also his student) but she left due to her wish to sail to adventure with her own friends.

Galacti: The most mysterious ship possible. Nothing much is known about them, except for one thing: They're seen during the night. Their morals and goals are also unknown. They're also known as the ones who only know the safe ways to the North. And they home several magical artifacts: ancient spell books, weapons, mystic plants, etc. All of them are wanted by Miz, especially the captain.

Blackbird: The most notorious ship, with the crew of ruthless thieves. They love to mess with the other ships, they ambush the delivery ships while on their way, steal their goods, and scatter the 'useless' ones to the ocean for ships to crash on and sink.

Rumor say the captain Phantom used to navigate a security ship, and people wonder what led him down this path.

No one knows which islands are the crew is from, but they know for a fact that they can sail to the waters in South effortlessly. (The waters in South are also violent, so majority of security ships sunk in hopes of investigate the island.)

Tech is a bit weird in this AU. It does not exist, but it does at the same time. Phones, internet, or holograms, those stuff doesn't exist, for example.

There's a thing. It's not a common thing, it's a rumor in some islands, it's forbidden to use or even speak of it in some islands–

It's magic. Yep.

Big islands like Miz forbid anyone to ever talk about. Ironically, the most powerful professional magic user is from Miz.

Small islands like Pist though, it's mostly a rumor in there.

Anyway, the magic in this AU mostly relies on spells. Only some certain people can do it. For example, rumor say the mysterious ship Galacti can use magic effortlessly (especially the captain). But the island of Miz, the island the captain is from, can't catch them because the ship is literally invisible.

There's also another type of magic. It's not like a 'wizard-y' type, or done with spells. It affects the physical appearence, like 'monsters'.

Sea creatures are the only known 'monsters' at the moment but there are some research for other possible 'monsters' alive.

There are 3 different sea 'monsters' rn:

The 1st type: Your good ol' cliche sea creatures. They live underwater all the time, cannot go up to surface. Some of them look like a giant squid but some of them have humanoid appearence (like sirens). They're the most common.

The 2nd is: Luca-style. They appear as humans when dry. One of the main ship captains is this. No wonder she rescues people so swiftly from the water? Also the new lackey in Blackbird too, but with the addition of a siren voice.

The third type is a curse that turns the person into a fish, then a bubble. They start to appear as scales under eyes, then ears start to look like fins. At the end of two days they will turn into a full fish, then foam (curse you little mermaid /j). It has a solution though, but it can only be found in the north side of the ocean. Sadly, most people who got cursed end up meeting their demise because the North is even harder to reach than South. The ones who do would still have some side effects like: constant need for hydration and the transformation into a mer-person when dove into water.

(this is completely inspired by that one episode where jett and jerome turn into mer...planes???)

Hmmm...... out of all my biases, I'd probably say my svt bias line? But tbh, lately Minghao's attacking me A LOT with comfort feelings so I'm gonna go with him. He just radiates that calm, soothing energy and wisdom, but he's also cute and clingy and just has that annoying unhinged sibling energy sometimes?? What's more home than that?? (Also my dad is really into fancy tea and tea ceremonies so... yeah...)

Yonghoon's passion is obviously his music and making weves cry and wtf he's really good at soccer??? And look, it makes me feel emotional like all his songs and I'm geniunely in awe of how hardworking is - but I wanna keep this lighthearted and the one thing he's also passionate about and that's honestly hilarious to me and that I admire greatly is how he's always trying to rizz up Kanghyun askjgdahsg because SAME 😭😭 Nothing makes my day quicker than leader line bickering lmao, I love them so much I want what they have (also he was so happy when he finally succeeded ;-;)

For Hongjoong, his passion for fashion and especially the stuff he does with his clothes is just ??? idek how to describe it, like the joy he radiates and how freely he seems to express himself in his art is just ??? i'm a mess, sir???? idk idk just something about people being creative and expressing themselves just makes me emotional wreck

So for Hongjoong I'm really torn between his eyes and his lips?? But probably his eyes because he's the master of facial expressions and his eye acting???? Unreal. He's just has such pretty eyes and I hope that whoever came up with putting the lil gems right under his eyes in the shoots for the spin off gets a raise

Hello! I just wanted to say that i love your Tom analysis I’ve read it so many times and while I was watching Capsize and Tom interact, your essay of him popped into my mind. And I wanted to connect our points, if that’s alright?

The act of receiving items is something that is very indicative of the personality of both the giver and receiver. When it comes to the gods, Mianite gives a wooden sword and leather armor while Dianite gives considerably great quality armor and weapons in comparison.

You state in your essay that the relationship between Tom and Dianite is transactional. And I think that Capsize is as well with the champions. For instance, for building a ship she gives Tucker a map, for the pufferfish Jordan gets three redstone, and when she transports the mooshrooms to the island she expects payment for that.

But when it comes to Tom she gives him very personal and personalized items. Nemo, her old vessel whose sails she changed to red (used to be white), and a sword with unbreaking 20 expecting nothing in return for any of them. In fact he never has to fear her taking any of that away because she states that “ye can’t be claimin’ a gift back! That be rude!” (she says this to Jordan when he asks for his gold back). She even comes to his defense when Jordan mistakes the ship to still be hers.

In the beginning Capsize is adverse to Jordan not only being a captain but at the thought of being co-captains together. Both Jordan and Tucker are her subordinates, but her and Tom are on an equal standing because she named him captain of her old vessel! She knowingly did that, seeing how the sword she gifted is named Captain Syndicate’s Cutlass.

Someone who holds no expectations from him, respecting him, and going out of her way to be kind to him must be such a breath of fresh air for Tom. So unlike his god and even his fellow champions at times, once you get a taste of that it’s hard to fit back into an old mold of yourself.

Crazy how season one ended with the both of them being best friends.

Okay not in CR fandom BUT did want to say something about the "They'll eventually get into NFTs" thing. People are aware that sometimes a person higher up can make decisions that everyone on a lower position can disagree with right? Like if their COO does try to jump on the bandwagon, that doesn't necessarily mean Matt and the others will agree with the choice just because he did it. 1/2

And earlier this month, there was a whole hullabaloo where a games publisher announced an NFT project and almost immediately a bunch of the dev teams who worked with them released statements saying "We don't like this, we're not gonna work with them anymore" and wouldn't you know it, that same day, the Publisher announced that they were going to shelve the idea. 2/3 (Cause I'm longwinded I guess)

NEWT’S POV:

I stood by the doors waiting for them to open as minho jogged up to me 

“morning newt” he sighs

“morning, what's the matter with you this morning minho” I ask him

“oh just uh something I need to chat with you about before we go” he says

“fine alby you can yell at him when we get back” he smirks before the doors open and we run off into the maze soon enough going our separate ways I ran for what seemed like ages just little corners going around and around the maze till I stopped for a drink and in an opening to another way I saw something move I was deadly quiet in fear it was a griever till another opening I sore movement it was too slow and quiet to be a griever I slowly stepped around a corner and saw someone stood there, it didn't look like anyone I knew from the glade till they turned it was a girl she sore me and looked panicked running into my arms “Woah! uh hi” I say

“hello” she smiles before snuggling closer to me

“are you alright? what on earth are you bloody doing out here?” I ask her 

“I don't know I just woke up here a couple hours ago, I can't find my way out, do you know the way?” she asks sounding very scared and confused

TIMESKIP:

“newt!” i hear a female voice yell across the glade as i chatted with alby
