hello hello! this is my art blog :•) more info about me under the cut + common tags i use

been drawin a long time but i've never just made a general art blog before. also i mostly use tumblr on desktop so things may get wonky lol. i have a warrior cat blog @ninewhiskers and i follow/interact from my main, @whiskrz

- general dni criteria, also prefer not to have my art tagged as "kin" or have interactions w/folks under 16. i also don't give a shit about any kind of discourse because i think it's stupid.

- content can suggestive/nsft but it will be tagged appropriately; generally don't provide tw for things beyond the usual suicide + self harm

- media interests: my little pony, team fortress 2, rick and morty, the simpsons, if it was on cartoon network/adult swim in 2017 im prolly into it

i think equestria girls missed out on making human(?) twilight closer to her pilot self, a snooty and standoffish and occasionally kind of rude and dismissive. i get the shy angle but missed opportunity in sunset seeing the princess of friendship pre-friendship

I found one of my old drawings yesterday and it made me feel many things.

This art was created 10 years ago. It was 2014, I was still 14 years old and I remember being so proud of it.

Starting to be a part of MLP fandom was a turning point in my life. I was never a social child - I was introverted, shy and anxious, I had interests that were considered weird. When girls at my school started to get interested in more „grown-up” things, I was still hooked on cartoons and toys and things like that. And with MLP - I finally found my people.

I met my husband thanks to MLP. Almost all of my current friendships started out thanks to MLP. I started to draw more frequently thanks to MLP. If not for this fandom, I am certain I would be a completly different person. Better or worse - I don’t know. But I’m happy where I’m at.

Thank you Bronies, thank you Pegasisters, thank you anyone who is still part of this fandom today. You all mean so much to me and I hope that you know that all of your interests are valid and wonderful no matter how old are you. 🩷

I think I’ve found my favorite randomly generated pony name.

Imagine this pony with a literal shadowy cake for a cutie mark. And she’s got this Victorian Gothic bakery that all the cool ponies go to. Like Pinkie Pie in Generation 4, but much more mellow.

thinking abt fluttertwi things.....

twilight being dorky and trying to do something romantic for her but she goofs up and ends up embarrassing herself instead, like tripping with flowers and managing to spill them on her head, making fluttershy giggle

or short and calm flights together during the evening that ends with them both being tired, but they enjoy the scenery anyways. fluttershy never felt all that comfortable flying, high in the sky that is, but she loves to do it with twilight

twilight!! helping her garden and take care of animals!!! twilight likes to drop by her cottage to help her garden and take care of her flowers, and goes to the sanctuary often to help her with chores, fluttershy is very very grateful for this and always gives her a "thank you" kiss <3

fluttershy always knows calming techniques when twilight is stressing over things, and always knows how to help her when shes frazzled and having an anxiety attack, they usually end up cuddled together under a blanket at the end of it :]
