Gold star hench that helps the plan go as far as possible before the hero thwarts the villain and who somehow always miraculously survives any explosion/gun fight/fire/etc that breaks out
And they decide one day that their luck is gonna run out eventually, so they should quit while they’re ahead, so during the next fight when the hero kicks the hench into the ocean, they decide just to go home instead of bouncing back up to keep helping the villain, y’know, quiet quitting, cause it’s not like the villain’s gonna actually care, they can’t remember the last time they actually personally addressed them
Which all works out great…till they wake up to both the hero and the villain breaking into their apartment, the villain because they did put together that their star hench didn’t come back, and the hero because they have a no kill rule and they need to make sure they didn’t accidentally kill a hench when kicking them into the water

being attached to Data as a character is wild cuz every episode about him is either so wholesome and about his humanity or it’s like “hmmm how can we further dehumanize him”

One of the few headcanons I somewhat really attach onto is just my hc that Jamil is Bigender and goes by He/She. But in the way that you have to have such an INSANELY CLOSE BOND with Jamil in order to be allowed to refer to him as "she". You can't be an average joe and call him "she", cause if you do that, not only will your ass get beat, but your ass is getting beat so hard you wake up five months later cause you were put in a coma.
Surprisingly one of the few people that are allowed to call Jamil "she" is Kalim, but only when they're by themselves, since Kalim realized he can't go around referring to Jamil as her in public or that will influence others into doing it as well and Jamil wouldn't like that, so he's keeping it low.
Also yeah because I CAN, yes, Floyd is allowed to call Jamil she as well (<- flojami maniac), but unlike Kalim, Floyd doesn't hide it in public that much unless Jamil asks him to. Thankfully no one is influenced by him cause whenever someone else calls Jamil she , Floyd will full on go "oh you can't call Sea Snake that, you aren't allowed to, now I have to get rid of you. C'mere" and chase them around the school on all fours like some paralysis demon until someone physically stops him

Do y’all think it’s considered a promotion or a demotion for the Showfall employees to get assigned to be henchmen for cast members? Cause on one hand, they’re part of the show, They get the ‘honor’ of being a part of it! On the other hand the Puzzler likely accidentally fuckin blasted two off-screen henchrats off the face of the planet

"why are you so worried abt random accidents, stuff like that rarely ever happens" well you see I'm too disabled to ever evacuate a situation on my own, so I'd rather be a safety advocate now than become a statistic later
#like. part of the reason i avoid large crowded events at all costs unless they are outdoors#is because i know for a fact i would more likely be a victim of crowd crush than any disaster like a fire#i am slow. i am very fragile. i have extremely poor balance#even if i could walk on that particular day (which is becoming less and less likely by the month)#i would be knocked over almost immediately by a light shove and be trampled#as well as like. my diminishing ability to make it UP stairs in the event of a fire in my apartment#because i live in a basement apartment and there is no elevator or alternative way upstairs in this building#if i were on an upper floor i would bear the injuries and just throw myself down the stairs if it were that severe of an emergency#i know far too well how to protect myself from a hard fall and would likely be able to avoid too severe an injury there#but if i had to crawl up the stairs i don't know if i could make it#these things are also why i fear car accidents so much#i physically cannot use an airbag without it breaking my collarbone; my height and general brittleness guarantee that#so it's just not. active. on my side of the car. like it was manually disabled#and I'm already so severely disabled i just. i can't emotionally handle something else. on top of everything#i have a do not resuscitate order in place bc of that. so if my heart stops for any reason they shouldn't try to restart it#that's a recent choice bc like. i can already barely handle the emotional toll of my current disabilities getting worse#i would not be able to handle something new unless it were like. a more severe form of one i already handle well like. losing my legs#i miss running but it wasn't as hard to give up as; say; losing use of my hands- they're the only way i can do ANYTHING nowadays#the few times my joint pain got bad enough that i fully lost use of my hands for a few days were absolute torment#and I'm far far too scared of my voice being recorded to use anything with speech to text like. it's a BAD paranoia i can't shake it#so i would just kind of. be locked out from most tech. and THAT is currently the only way it's possible for me to be social#so i would actually just fully lose my mind like it's already fragile enough i would break i would just break#i love large transport vehicles but i struggle to trust the safety of most other than trains because those tend to be. fairly safe#I've watched enough train disaster videos to know how robust the rules and regulations of modern trains are#(all regulations are written in blood!)#i trust cars very little though and since buses run on the same streets i worry. a Lot#not that there's any buses that run near my apartment the closest bus stop is three blocks away and it only comes twice a day#and it only runs to the college and nowhere else so there's. very little point to me using it#and very few ways for me to even access it in my current physical state#it's very much not an accessible bus stop the sidewalks are diagonal in most places and my right wheel is malfunctioning now bc of it

Watched some of the kineto pet analysis/playthrough/explanation vids so here! Au where squiddo is a little Guy in the internet you can download but the player (Ashswag if I make this into a fully fledged story) discovers that the seemingly innocent program is far more sinister underneath
And despite Squiddo being rather innocent and naive, she’s never had a friend before so please don’t leave

One thing I really really loved about Star Twinkle is how each of the villains had their own fighting style. Even the monster of the week concept was different depending on who was summoning it. I just think it's neat, I already miss it dkksksks

Steam curled in thick tendrils around the locker room, the steady patter of water against tile filling the air as Logan stood beneath the scorching spray of the shower. He ran a hand through his damp blond hair, letting out a satisfied exhale.
"Another—hah—another damn good game," he muttered, tilting his head back, letting the water cascade over his sculpted shoulders. His muscles ached, but in a good way—evidence of a battle well-fought on the field. He smirked to himself. Of course they’d won. They always won when he was on the team.
He rolled his shoulders, steam swirling around him, but there was something else—something faint, almost imperceptible. A whirring. A high-pitched hum, barely audible over the water.
Then—click. A sharp, mechanical sound.
Logan frowned, shaking his head. "Hh-heh, must b-be…" His voice caught, hitching unnaturally for a fraction of a second. He cleared his throat, dismissing it, but then—another sound. A faint hiss, like air escaping through a vent.
His access panel had opened.
But Logan, of course, didn’t notice. He wasn’t programmed to.
The overheated processor buried deep in his synthetic musculature was automatically venting excess heat, the mechanism clicking softly as hidden vents along his back and ribs spread open. Warm air gusted from inside, blending with the steam of the shower.
"H-hot water's g-good for s—sore muscles," Logan muttered, his usual cocky drawl faltering for an instant. "G-got to keep the—hah—the machine running, huh?" He let out a sharp chuckle, unaware of the irony.
The water pounded against his body, rivulets streaming down over his vents. It shouldn’t have mattered—he was designed to be water-resistant. But his panel had opened, exposing delicate inner circuitry. Tiny droplets trickled into the crevices of his framework, slipping past seals that weren’t meant to be breached.
There was a sharp bzzt somewhere deep inside him.
Logan jerked, a barely perceptible twitch of his fingers.
His systems recalibrated, struggling to compensate for the intrusion. Another bzzt crackled in his chest, a faint pop from somewhere behind his ribs. He blinked, his usual smug smirk flickering on his face, almost as if it were an expression being re-rendered, forced into place.
"Sh-should c-cool off soon," he muttered, his voice stuttering over the words like a scratched record. "N-nothing—nothing t-t—t-to w-worry ab-about."
Another mechanical click. His fingers twitched again, this time more violently. His left hand curled involuntarily before his systems forced it back into place. A sharp whirring noise filled the shower as his processors struggled against the damage.
Then—his leg locked.
He nearly toppled, catching himself against the tile. His laugh came out choked, glitching mid-sound. "H-heh—whoops. B-b-bit of a—hah—misstep there." His grin didn’t fade, even as the servos in his knee let out a quiet, straining reeeEEEEE before finally releasing. His stance corrected itself.
For a moment, it seemed like the malfunction had passed.
Then his chest jerked—just once, sharply. His torso twisted slightly as if an invisible force had tugged at it.
"Unu—unusual a-activity detected," Logan muttered, his confident tone suddenly eerily flat, his head tilting slightly as his system tried to run diagnostics. The words weren’t conscious; they spilled out without his control, an automated alert overriding his usual bravado. "R-re-routing po-power t-to c-critical syst-systems."
He blinked hard, forcing his body back into normal posture. "Hah, y-yeah. A-all good. Just a—just a li’l p—p—post-game st-st-stiffness." His voice wavered, skipping slightly on the syllables, but he powered through it, grinning even as a sharp zap crackled from somewhere in his core.
The scent of overheated circuitry mingled with the steam.
Another jolt. His fingers twitched, then spasmed—his entire arm following, seizing up for a second before jerking back into normal position.
He didn’t acknowledge it. Couldn’t.
"J-just gotta—gott—gotta—" His voice cut out mid-sentence. Silence.
Then his entire frame gave a violent jerk.
The servos in his neck let out a sharp whir-click, and his head tilted too far to the right before snapping back into place. His chest heaved, a reflexive mimicry of breath, though his systems no longer required it. His vision flickered, his HUD overlay flashing errors faster than his processor could filter them.
ERROR: COOLING SYSTEM FAILURE. ERROR: UNEXPECTED WATER EXPOSURE DETECTED. ERROR: MOTOR FUNCTIONS UNRESPONSIVE.
His knees buckled. His grin wavered.
"H-heh—hah—c’mon, n-not—n-not now," he muttered, forcing himself upright, his body moving in jerky, unnatural motions. His servos whined in protest, a grating mechanical screech echoing in the shower stall. His system was losing the battle against the water seeping into his frame.
"J-just need a—a sec," he continued, speaking mostly to himself. "G-gotta—hah—gotta—" His voice cracked, breaking into static for a second before snapping back. "P-power through. W-we d-don’t q-qu—"
His words cut off again. His whole body shuddered violently this time, fingers clawing at the tile as another sharp pop burst from his core. His cooling fans sputtered, their whirring turning sluggish, erratic.
His processor locked up.
His eyes remained fixed forward, unseeing, as his systems tried to reboot. His fingers spasmed once more, then stilled. The last traces of steam swirled around him as his damaged servos gave out entirely.
One final jolt wracked his frame.
Then—silence.
His body remained upright for a few seconds longer, his expression frozen in place—a confident smirk that had yet to register his own defeat. His systems fizzled out one by one, background processes flickering into darkness. His balance gave out, and his frame tilted forward, slumping heavily against the tile wall.
A final, faint beep.
And then—nothing.

You know who would never try to undermine Trina talking sense to Spencer or defend Spencer raging at Trina by idiotically comparing him to a divorcee? Cam. Cam would never do anything as stupid as that.

continued from this | @opalchoi
The corners of her mouth remained uplifted in her usual gentle smile once Chiyori observed Opal-chan reanimate after her display of affection. Chiyori was aware that Opal-chan had a tendency to disconnect from the world, so seeing her zap back to reality like that wasn’t exactly novel, but watching her become flustered was cute regardless. “Oh, I- okay..” she returned, smiling still, though couldn't help but feel a little rejected once the other turned down her offer to help.
When the pinkette proceeded to tumble down — clumsy as usual — Chiyori instinctively took a step backward to prevent herself from getting tangled in her friend’s fall. Her brows arched in half surprise, half concern, and she was about to extend her hand toward her friend. However, Opal-chan seemed to be up on her feet again before Chiyori could actually offer her any assistance.
Luckily, though, Opal-chan didn’t seem to be badly hurt, and with a smile of relief, Chiyori mirrored the finger heart gesture. "You know, I'm always here to help you, Opal-chan," she returned before her hand fell back to its natural rest at her side.
Casting her eyes downward, Chiyori considered the question about her day for a moment. “It was… okay,” she shrugged, not sure if there was anything new to bring up. Her day had been as per usual — not really bad, but not amazing either. Studying to become a nurse wasn’t exactly a struggleless journey. Like most things in life, it had its own ups and downs.
Amber eyes landed back on the pinkette once Chiyori remembered why she’d come to visit her friend at the coffee bar today. “Ah, Opal-chan, I saw they offered a good deal on clothes at the mall this week." With both hands holding onto the strap of her bag, Chiyori tilted her head sideways. "Would you have time to go shopping with me one of the coming days?”
