I’ve realized in recent years that a lot of folks think that going to see a play means like. Going to New York or London or something.

No. That is not true. Go to your community theatre or local university productions. See if there’s any professional companies where you live. Go to a Shakespeare festival. There’s theatre everywhere. A lot of it is actually quite affordable as well. And if you know someone involved in the production they might be able to get you comp tickets
