; so I'm currently using Genderflir ( a term I recently discovered, originally just using Genderfluid ), but I'm having doubts ... Because, although the definition seems to fit how I feel perfectly, I have literally never seen / known of anyone that uses it. And so I feel like, weird ?? Logically I know that since the term exists, and was easily findable on a wiki, other people are Genderflir. But I still feel alien, and like I'm the only Genderflir person in the world- and know I feel like I'm lying to myself and should " go back " to being Genderfluid ?? I don't know. I'm sending this because I guess I need clarification ? Confirmation ?? Something along those lines, just someone to tell me I'm not weird or lying to myself, or disrespecting other Genderflir people by identifying as Genderflir even though I'm doubting my gender so much- qwq

It's no secret that I love micro labels, but there are some downsides to them: micro labels can lead to a feeling of alienation from community. But here's the thing: I promise you that there are more genderflir people out there than you think. And I promise you that you can use your micro label and be genderflir, and you're still just as much of a valid member of the genderfluid community <3

You're not disrespecting anyone. You're not lying to anyone. You're being yourself and I think that's beautiful. And even if you were the only genderflir person on the earth, that wouldn't invalidate your gender in any way! Gender is complicated and unique and fluid and indescribable sometimes, and I believe that there are as many genders as people, because we all have a slightly different experience, even if we use the exact same descriptors.

Finding yourself and the correct label for yourself is a journey. Change is human and natural, you're not wrong for changing labels. You're staying true to yourself, and that's amazing! It takes courage and self-respect to embrace change, and it's great that you're being patient with yourself and accepting of your journey. It's normal to doubt yourself occasionally, but be gentle with yourself🫶🫶

If the label makes you happy, keep using it. You're absolutely valid and you're always going to be more than welcome on my blog!!🩷🤍💜🖤💙

My gender is so confusing. I'm technically nonbinary, but calling myself that gives me dysphoria because my identity primarily aligns with my agab (afab).

But I don't know if I want to be called a woman or not.

But i am really feminine and girly in a lot of ways and I feel emotions primarily in the way that women usually do.

And a am a little bit of a boy and think my thoughts in a way that's more associated with men.

But sometimes calling myself partially a man feels good and sometimes it's dysphoric.

And my man-self is kind of like how most men feel, but also very different from how most men feel.

I don't know.

It's like my emotions are female and my thoughts are male.

I guess I'm some kind of paragirl, demigirl, genderflir, boyflux, genderqueer boy, libra-masculine combo

Genderflir Flag

Also known as Genderfloa (gender-flow-ar) refers to a person who describes themself as genderfluid/genderfluix (or another alternating identity) but is mostly female in some way.

It is different from girlflux or genderflux as genderflir people can (or typically) experience other genders that aren’t necessarily feminine or woman-aligned (this includes masculine genders).

A genderflir person may be female most of the time, feel more comfortable while female, or the experience of femininity as an identity is more intense than others they may encompass.

I thought the term girlflux was kinda close but looking at it it doesnt seem to encompass masc+male gender shifts :/ do you know any that could fit?

; so I've come to the random realization yesterday that I believe I'm ( AFAB ) transmasc. Not a trans man though, I've never 100% felt like a man ( which is why I identify with genderflir ) and although sometimes I feel like just a woman, I still don't like the feeling of my chest. I wouldn't necessarily call it dysphoria, it's more of just a general discomfort that I know is because of my chest. Whereas I'm fine with all my other feminine features, although my hips do sometimes bother me ?? But just, I can't decide if I should get a binder, or hope for top surgery in the future ?? Because I don't fit what would be described as dysphoria, but I also know I want top surgery ...

; I'd also like to mention I told my girlfriend about this and xe was super supportive !! Which gave me the boost of confidence to even start looking at top surgery, etc.

if you want top surgery then you should get it. you can get it don for whatever reason you choose. it doesn't have to be because of dysphoria it can be just because you don't want those parts on your body. your transition is your transition, don't let anyone tell you to do it. how to. it's really awesome that you have such a sportive partner!

Hi. I found some gender identities that i wanted to bring some attention to since I haven't really seen any content for them here on tumblr: genderflir and genderfloy

Genderflir (also known as genderfloa) was coined anonymously in 2021. It means identifying mostly as female, but having some minor or occasional fluidity with other genders as well. A genderflir person can identify as genderfluid as well, but does not have to.

Genderfloy (also known as genderfloe) is the masculine version of this. It means identifying mostly as male, but with some minor or occasional fluidity with other genders. Again, they can identify as genderfluid if they would like, but do not have to.

I have seen two different versions of flags for each of these genders.

Genderflir

On the first flag, the pink stripe represents womanhood, or the part of one's identity that is mostly female. The peach, a mix of pink and yellow, represents feeling partially female, or the fluctuating to and from female. The white in the middle represents any other gender a genderflir person might experience.

Genderfloy

In the first flag, the blue represents manhood, or the part of one's identity that is mostly male. The green stripe is a mix or blue and yellow, which shows feeling partially male, or fluctuating to and from male. The white in the middle represents other genders a genderfloy person may experience.
