So at school I never rly specified pronouns (bc it feels awkward 💀), just name, and as funny as it is to watch teachers fumble over pronouns when talking about me ("she-he- [last name] said-"), shoutout to my Russian teacher for learning I go by Alex and immediately he/him-ing me w/o me ever saying anything, no questions asked 😎 she's also started correcting *other* people when they misgender me by just repeating what they said but with the correct pronouns and louder 😎

The other day she started saying in front of class abt how "Alex's name always confuses me" n I got worried for a sec but then she said it's bc she wants to say Alexander instead since just "Alex" isn't a [nick]name in Russia. and she put my name on the popsicle sticks she uses to call on ppl as Alexander, which I learned today since I got to use them while presenting smthn 😎😎
