Just a random fact, so my s/I doesn't go by Shark within the mob universe. I want them to go by my middle name as their first. The nickname shark just stuck for a long time that I'm more comfortable using that now.

Our ship name would be different. Since Reigen is the last name, our actual ship name with mine would be more like Esquirei (pronounced eh-ski-ray) Renataka would be for first names. Sharkrei is just for tag to not use my irl names online

aaaah i can't choose one!! I suppose most of my favorite myths are stories from the bible (cain and abel & abraham and isaac being the main insanity-inducing ones) but if we're counting folktales, i always really loved a korean story my grandmother told me about the daughter of a blind man who signed up to sacrifice herself to the sea god/mer-king because the sea had been so dangerous lately and the kingdom was offering food to the family of any girls who sacrificed themselves. instead of drowning, the sea god falls in love with her and she returns as an queen or something, i don't exactly remember. i have always really loved that story.
