The Owl Sanctum
A crossover between The Owl House and Doctor Strange (2016) SYNOPSIS: The magic of Doctor Strange and The Owl House collide in The Owl Sanctum, and at the center of the story is the teenage foster brother of self-assured teen Luz Noceda, Stephen Strange, whose life changed forever after a horrific car accident robbed him of his mother and the use of his hands.
When Stephen and Luz accidentally stumbled through a portal to the magical realm of the Boiling Isles, their lives began to change for the good as the foster siblings find themselves in a world where magic, witches, and demons are real! There, they meet Edalyn “The Owl Lady” Clawthorne, the most respected, feared, and powerful witch on the Boiling Isles; and her small, furry sidekick, King, as they stay with them at the Owl Sanctum.
Luz wanted to become a witch, so Eda agrees to take her in as her apprentice, but Stephen doesn’t want to learn magic beyond healing his hands for he has to retain his childhood dreams to become an Earth surgeon as he had gone through every magical treatment imaginable and every college-level textbook for any hope of a magical remedy that can heal his hands and his nerve damage.
But Stephen quickly learns that he was born with magical abilities because he has the heart of a witch with a magic bile sac and later discovers the journal of the Ancient One, a powerful Sorcerer Supreme from long ago who left behind a series of clues which lead to the most ancient and powerful artifacts she left behind all across the Boiling Isles to ensure that converging dark forces and mystical threats can’t get their hands on them.
With Eda’s teachings, King’s encouragement, the Ancient One’s journal as a guide, and the help of new friends Clea, Wong, Amity, Willow, and Gus, Stephen and Luz are well on their way to find the most sacred of magical relics of the Ancient One – such as the Book of Vishanti, the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak that acts as the antithesis of the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, a box set of Sling Rings, the Wand of Watoomb, the Cloak of Levitation, the Mirror Scroll, Dragonfang, and even the Eye of Agamotto, created by the father of the mystic arts, the mighty Agamotto – and battle against unseen forces of Agatha Harkness, Baron Karl Mordo, Emperor Belos, Nightmare, Mephisto, Dormammu of the Dark Dimension, the Imperator, Umar, and even…Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch!
Despite how much they drive each other nuts, Luz and Stephen still genuinely love each other and always have each other’s backs.
The Owl Sanctum explores and follows the narrative of what would happen if the events of The Owl House (2020-2023) occurred differently with the inclusion of the mystical world of Doctor Strange – including Stephen Strange, Clea, Wong, The Ancient One, the Dark Dimension, Scarlet Witch, the title of Sorcerer Supreme and much more.

Note
Kyoko Sakura has in common with Edalyn Clawthorne from Owl House having the same fesityness and using magical mid ranged weapons. Wearing red clothes. They also have a dark cursed monster form. Kyoko with Ophelia and Edalyn with the Owl form. They have gems in the middle of their chests and have an open rebellious attitude.
I always thought she looked cool

From what I wrote in Announce7: Link(Special: A little of Eda and Yuko relationship) And this video looks at how similar Hooty and Mokona are.
Tumblr media
Edalyn: But Clow was okay to change Hooty's name to "Mokona". That's cute but weird. No wonder why Fei Wang couldn't notice him, he's the protection of the shop too.
Punch: Hooty really is Mokona?!
Edalyn: Oh! I also heard that there was a good drin..
Punch: No spoilers, thank you!
Remember White Mokona and Black Mokona still had similler abilities and secret techniques. After all, Clow Reed had created the two Mokonas with Yuko after encountering the original Mokona: a white Mokona that could travel through worlds. Black Mokona had a blue gem made by Clow Reed and has the ability to seal magical power and also holds Sakura's memories of Syaroan and Watanuki's memory of his past.
Also, According to Dana Terrace, Hooty has an evil twin called "Booty". So in Tsubasa of Phantasia (AU), Booty is White Mokona.
Tumblr media
I already introduced that Yuko and Lilith Clawthorne are the same person in Tsubasa of Phantasia. And Yuko had a sister named Edalyn Clawthorne
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The relationship between Yuko and Mokona is the same as with Lilith and Hooty. Because Original Black Mokona is also Hooty itself in Tsubasa of Phantasia.
Well we don't know what Hooty was, even Kyle said Mokona was a strange creature. So if you want to know 2 Mokona's 108 secret techniques in Tsubasa of Phantasia, you can check Hooty's secret techniques in the Owl House series more.

[Image ID: digital drawings of characters from The Owl House. From top left clockwise: Lilith Clawthorne, a white woman with black with a gray streak. She’s wearing a gray shirt with a low battery symbol on it and looks sad. Next is a bust Amity Blight. She is white and has lavender hair and golden eyes. Next is King. He’s a demon with an animal skull supposedly over his head. He has yellow eyes with purple irises, black fur, and wears a dog collar. Beneath King is Eda Clawthorne, the Owl Lady. She is yawning and stretching. Eda is a white woman with bushy gray hair and a black gem (?) on her chest, half covered by her pink shirt emblazoned with EDAS BAD GIRL COVEN. Finally, Luz Noceda is next to Eda. She is a Dominican-American girl with curly brown hair and light brown skin. She’s wearing a purple and white top and is smiling mischievously. End ID]

Some philosophical angst idea I had: Post-Belos-defeat, someone stumbles upon a method that _might_ be able to turn petrified people back but. they aren't sure if it will actually work, that the turned back will be alive, that they will not suffer horrible side effects. And that there isn't a better method out there. What's more, some were partially smashed. Should they test the method on those? Wouldn't it be cruel to wake them only to make them suffer?
Bullshits some magic explanation. Bullshits some magic explanation. Bullshits some ma--
Not so much "stumbles across" as "actively looking for," but here you go!
xxx
Luz stared up at the stone statues—the ones they’d been too late to save. “Do you think they’re still… alive?”
“I don’t know,” Lilith said in a small, subdued voice, “I never thought to ask. At least you destroyed the wretched thing.”
Hunter made a “hm” noise, and the two of them turned to face him.
“Out with it,” Lilith sighed.
“Belos was working on fixing it. I uhhhhhhhh saw him with the blueprints a few times. Do you wanna smash it again, or…”
Luz grabbed Hunter by the shoulders. “Do you know where the plans are?”
“I mean—I could probably find them—yeah. Why?”
“If we know how it works, we can reverse it,” Lilith picked up, “If we find the plans, we can find out how it works.”
Hunter sighed. “Okay. Yeah, let’s… go to my uncle’s room.” He led them through the keep to the room that used to hold the portal. His hand stalled on the doorknob, but he turned it and pushed the door open. “I don’t know how many of his blueprints and designs survived everything, but… this is where he did most of his tinkering. If the plans are anywhere, they’d be here. The thing itself is down in the dungeons, if you want to take a look.”
“I do. Lilith, can you find the plans?”
Lilith delicately nudged a book with her foot. “I can try. Where’s Edalyn? This will go faster the more pairs of eyes we have.”
“She and King are busy helping out with rehabilitation for the wild witches that were locked up. Amity’s working on dismantling the remaining abomaton soldiers. Willow’s helping with growing more palistrom efforts, and Gus is helping. It’s just us. Give us a shout if you find it!”
Luz followed Hunter down to the dungeon, and he blasted open a door. The petrification machine was behind it. Luz hissed in. She hadn’t seen it since it had nearly killed her mentor. “I hate that thing.”
Hunter was hooking it up to the ceiling and pulling it off of the ground, removing a panel on the bottom. “Try not to break it again, we need it in one piece. For now.”
Luz stood under it, peering up at its inside. “Huh. That’s a lot more… wires and stuff than I thought there would be.”
Hunter gingerly reached into the machine. “Well—Belos didn’t have magic of his own—so he used a lot of machinery—to harness magical powers—got it!”
The machine powered down, and Hunter pulled a small green crystal from the inside. “Power source,” he explained, “The machine itself just taps in, so you can probably figure out anything you need to know from those blueprints—you want to figure out the magic that turned those witches to stone? Look at the source.” He dumped the crystal in her hand. “I’m going to the library, see if I can find any other sort of cure. Try not to accidentally turn yourself to stone.”
“Can it do that without the machine?” Luz called.
He shrugged as he walked away. “I dunno. Have fun!”
Xxx
“You got anything?”
Hunter yawned. “A couple of ideas. There have been ‘turn people to stone’ curses before, and some of them had cures, but… I don’t know that this is the same. Any luck on your end?”
“I’ve gone through almost every crystal compendium, every gem gazette—nothing. Not a single mention of this… thing.” She tossed the gem up in the air for emphasis. Her hands fumbled it on its way down, and it dropped. Hunter hit the floor as it sparked with green magic, sending out a pulse. Luz quickly threw up an ice wall to protect herself.
“Whoa.”
Hunter crawled out from under the table, glaring at her. “Hey! Be more careful with that thing!”
Luz gingerly picked the stone back up. “What do you think that does?”
“If I had to guess? Turn living things to stone.”
“…Wanna test it out?”
“Noooooot particularly. You feel free to turn yourself into stone.”
“Not on us. We’ll use a plant or something.”
“… alright. You turn me to stone, I’ll kill you.”
“Deal.”
Xxx
Luz poked her head over a wall of ice. “Ready?”
Hunter pulled out his staff, levitating the crystal “Ready.”
He dropped the crystal into the ice container Luz had created, then ducked behind her ice wall. They waited, then moved back around. Luz gingerly pulled the ice shield away. The plant inside had turned entirely into…
“Ice?” Luz poked the plant gingerly. “Why’s it ice?”
Hunter gingerly picked up the crystal. “It doesn’t turn people to stone. It releases—what, some magic pulse on impact, integrated with whatever it touched last? In this case, the ice.”
“The machine. The blueprints. The machine was stone—it integrated the blast, and—”
“Stone people,” Hunter finished.
“Okay. Sure. How do we undo it?”
Hunter shrugged. “Drop it on a witch?”
Luz frowned. “You think that’ll be right? I mean, what if that just turns them into the witch we use?”
“Can’t hurt to try, right?”
“It can definitely hurt to try, Hunter! What if we just make things worse?!”
“They’re turned to stone. I don’t think it gets much worse. If it bothers you that much, we can try it on one of the smashed ones.”
“Eugh.”
Hunter threw his hands up in the air. “What’s the issue now?”
“I just… I’m not sure it’s a good idea.”
“Again. They’re stone. They’re already broken. We can’t make it worse.”
“So, what, you bring them back to life just so that they can feel their arm being cut off? So that they’ll just suffer and die in immeasurable torment?”
“You don’t know that it’ll happen like that.”
“You don’t know that it won’t! Besides, what if there are—are—long-term effects?”
Hunter grabbed her by the shoulders. “Luz! They! Are! Made! Of! Stone! Even if there are long-term effects, are we really doing anything bad? I mean, option one: remain a statue forever and ever and ever and be functionally dead. Option two: Slight risk of bad side effects upon turning to life. They’re stone. They’re basically dead. The only place they can go is up.”
“What if there’s another way?”
“What if there’s not?” Hunter shrugged. “Okay, quick test.” He grabbed one of their other test plants and put it in the ice container. He used his staff to levitate the crystal again, this time ramming it into living plant before ducking behind the ice curtain. Luz slowly walked back to the plant. Both of the plants were living again.
“Works!” Hunter crowed, “Come on!”
“Wait!” Luz called, “What if it won't work on something more complex? What if the plant dies in a couple of days, or doing this links the two living things together? And what if using you as our template here makes them not have magic or something?! We should get another witch! Juuuuuust in case.”
Hunter rolled his eyes. “Are you trying to buy more time to try to talk me out of this again?”
“No! Just… let’s use someone else. Because with you… y’know. And I don’t want to accidentally give someone Lilith’s owl beast curse.”
“Fine. Call your girlfriend.”
Luz used her Tamagotchi to send Amity a message, shifting from one foot to another. “What if it just turns them into a pile of flesh?”
“Gross. Functionally. Dead. It doesn’t matter.”
“Yeah, okay, Frankenstein.”
“I don’t understand that reference, but I’m going to assume it’s bad.”
“I just… if we wake them up just to suffer and die…”
“They’re already basically dead, don’t you want to give them at least a chance?”
“Is the chance worth the pain we might cause?”
Hunter shrugged. “Was taking a chance on me worth the pain it caused?”
“That was different.”
“Was it? I don’t know, Luz, I just… I think we should try. We can do it on a broken-off arm or something. If that makes you feel better.”
“What about some of the stuff you found? For the other curses?”
“We can try those if this doesn’t work. I’d be even more suspicious of trying those out, though. They were made for an entirely different curses—if you think this carries risk, using the original source material, those are even riskier. We’d be treating a symptom, not the curse itself.”
“I guess.”
Hunter sighed. “Look, if it really bothers you, just… don’t watch. Go away. Keep looking for your nebulous other cure. I’ll take all the ethical responsibility for this one.”
“I can’t do that, I know you’re going to do it, I’m not just going to close my eyes and pretend you’re not.”
“Alright, then. Come on.” Hunter waved the green gem at her. “We’ve got some witches to un-petrify.”

Okay time to elaborate on the Wild Witch Lilith au bc its actually a lot more than her being. You know: a wild witch
So while Lilith’s running away is the CAUSE of these changes, Raine and Hunter are both more prominent in this as well.
Lilith messed up and was going to be petrified, but got out before they could even announce it. She becomes a wild witch but keeps in contact with Raine Whispers, a school friend, as well as one child in the Emperor’s coven: Hunter, the golden guard.
She leaves hunter a note that directs him to Raine and the two of them learn to get along (after, of course, it’s explained that Lilith allegedly left him a note. Even then, Hunter is suspicious. He didn’t know Lilith further than a nod or possibly a shared mission. But she expressed worry for him, so after a lot of time, he decided to - hesitantly - take her up on her offer to meet a friend. It will take him a while to trust them truly.)
More in a storytelling form under the cut
It’s about two months later that Lilith manages to catch Hunter at Raine’s house. She comes in through the back door and is searching lazily through her bag for the spices she apparently promised last time she intruded. Seeing Hunter makes her falter. “Ah, the golden guard.” While she doesn’t seem particularly excited, she certainly doesn’t sound upset.
Raine looks confused. “Was he not the one you gave the letter to?”
“Oh no, he is.” Lilith says, still standing by the door. “I just didn’t particularly expect to ever really... see him.” Now she moves to the table where they’re sitting and seats herself in one of the chairs. “You won’t hand me over to the emperor, will you?”
Hunter shakes his head.
Raine elbows Lilith in the arm. “Never expected to see him? Don’t tell me you were planning on leaving me to take care of a kid alone every other Saturday?”
Any stress that Lilith may have had drains from her as she laughs. “Is that when I should have been dropping by? Our friday date nights don’t work for you?” Raine laughs too, and Hunter doesn’t recognize the atmosphere. It’s calm, and it’s teasing, and it’s nice. He comes back more often.
(Lilith and Raine talk a few weeks later, Hunter having come and left for the day. Raine raises a brow over their glass of cider and asks if this means they have both have custody over a child. Lilith laughs. She says that, well, maybe they do.
Raine leans back in their chair. “However will we assure we won’t fall in love?”
Lilith rolls her eyes fondly. “Easy. I think you’re stupid.” She’s teasing and they know it.
“That’s a bold move against a teacher, Clawthorne.” Then, in retaliation: “Well, it’s good I think you’re annoying, then.” They’re teasing too.
A pause after their laughter has subsided. Then, and Raine asks this one too, “Wait- are we sharing custody with the Emperor?”
Lilith makes a choking sound over her glass of water, and then, a dribble of water coming from the corner of her mouth, says, “I can promise you I won’t fall in love with him.”
Raine raises their glass with a mock solemnity. “Cheers to that.” Their cups clink together.)
Lilith and Raine are there for Hunter. They’re there for when he’s hurt and there for when he’s happy. Raine is a wonderful teacher and Lilith is happy to show the magic that they can’t supply.
(Hunter has no magic and can’t use what the two of them teach him, but Lilith, out of all of them, is the closest to having the ability to use wild magic. Wild magic is the ability to mix magic as one pleases, and it’s with great annoyance that she finds she can’t do that. “I thought the emperor’s coven was the only coven where witches don’t get their magic restrained!” She complains, later.)
Hunter learns how to play instruments, and Lilith enjoys attempting the xylophone, when Raine chooses to bring one home.
(She enjoys the simplicity and the sound, she says. Raine steals the mallets from her and produces two more, playing a quick song with the mallets pressed between their fingers. “Is it simple now, Clawthorne?” They ask, and turn around to their awed audience. There’s a sudden realization that they have a two person crowd watching, and with a flushed face, they call off the rest of the day’s music lessons.)
Hunter enjoys the guitar and clarinet, they find. The piano is an old friend to him, and he’s happy to play it mindlessly when he has nothing else to do.
(He plays it the day Raine first finds him with a bandage on his face. They can’t convince him to take it off, but he wears it for a month. There’s a scar on his face after the bandaid is gone. He doesn’t say anything about it and Raine doesn’t press. There was something sad about his song on the day Raine found him playing.)
Raine and hunter convince Lilith to dye her hair a light blue grey (They requested white, to match with their general scheme, but she refused.) and Lilith gets Raine to add a gem to their outfit. Hunter can’t get anything permanent, but both adults enjoy playing with his hair while he’s with them.
Lilith and Raine have cared for Hunter for two years now. Raine’s been climbing up the ranks, and while Hunter is away, (Hunter is a good kid, but he feels an obligation to his uncle. Neither adult knows what to do about it. All they can do is give him as safe a space they can.) they talk about ways to mess up any plans Belos may have. On a late night, Raine admits that Eda (the name is spoken with mixed feelings. Neither saw her last under good circumstances.) was the cause of their drive to do something about the terribleness of the coven system. Lilith says nothing.
She lives more at Raine’s house now. Sleeping on the couch after helping them with a plan, then leaving if there’s ever a knock on anything but a window (Hunter refuses to come in through a door) to keep from the possibility of them getting arrested for holding a criminal in their home. Wandering the city never ceases to be nerve wracking, even with the difference in her appearance.
She was only at the convention to cheer on Hunter. While his place as the mystery guest unnerved both her and Raine (He was only sixteen. Taking place as figurehead of the coven was too much.) he seemed excited, so they congratulated him, and Lilith confronted the terrifying possibility of being recognized to go clap for his performance.
She was recognized. Somehow, her sister spotted her (Was she not also a wild witch? She hated covens, and really, Lilith saw no reason for her to be at such a convention.) and asked about her disappearance. Lilith rolled her eyes and dusted off every question, interrupted only by a human child asking for Eda’s help.
“I’ll leave you to it then,” Lilith said, and walked off. Her sister’s “I’m not done with you!” Only made her chuckle as she searched for Hunter in the crowd.
Lilith attempted to leave a long while later. Apparently the place where the human’s witch’s duel had taken place was broken rather severely. She’d stuck around only long enough to see that most spectators were gone, and she watched both the young Blight and the human storm out of the door before Edalyn pointed up at her.
“HEY LILITH!” Eda called. “I WANT TO TALK!”
Lilith narrowed her eyes and called up magic. “WELL I DON’T!” She yelled back.
That was how Lilith ended up in Raine’s house, bruised and annoyed. Lilith refused to admit how she ended up hurt, tight lipped as she healed herself and avoided eye contact with the equally amused and concerned bard on the sofa.
The next time Lilith saw Eda was after making a bet with Raine. Lilith was terrible with alcohol, honestly, and it didn’t get much wine to get her talking smack. It was a blurry memory, but all she knew is that she needed to get some sort of powerful artifact, to prove... something to Raine.
A flower of youth sounded good. She gained a map, and with a small offhand comment about what her sister must look like now (She’d seen posters, and a younger Eda’s hair was growing white already). She was doing perfectly fine on her own, but somehow, for some reason, her sister had decided to tag along. Which was fine! They were bonding a bit, really. Especially after the blood sucker (emphasis on sucker. Little bitch.) started trying to scare them. Cute, but the sisters were mean when they wanted to be, and oh, did Lilith want to be.
She lost the bet, but she saw her sister again. Under better circumstances (though only barely) and without a fight. She could call that a win.
It happened again (Not a clue how she got roped into a grudgby match, but it was fun while it lasted.) and again (Eda finally getting caught on account of that little human she found was terribly tragic.) and again (also getting caught after accidentally slipping to the human that she’d caused Eda’s curse was more than a little embarrassing.)
She wanted to say sorry. She didn’t think it was enough.
Eda was understandably upset.
Lilith didn’t have a proper cure. She’d been looking for one for a while now, but even any knowledge about the curse she’d used was gone. All she had to make up for it all was her backup plan.
“With this spell declared, let the pain be shared.”

Oc for TOH cuz i wanna make a fanfic
(I might make an Oc x Oc too so her info may change depending on what I write, if I do {probably}her looks and appearance might change)
So basically I wanna make an oc x cannon thing but I wanna share my oc, her outfits, backstory, and more info on her sooo ya.
Also I just wanna say that she’s Edalyn’s daughter so I figured I should use younger her as a base since they are mother and daughter, also I apologize for the sloppy art but heres the stuff.
And there will most likely be more outfits.
(I’ll be telling what each outfit is for - left to right - but if you don’t understand I’m sure you will after I describe them!
Btw putting a trigger warning cuz my oc has SH scars and others plus her backstory is rather brutal and abusive so if you’re not comfortable then just prepare or scroll<3
[her backstory and her in general is mostly bases off of my childhood and stuff but shes just a better version of me- so trigger warnings for self-harm, abuse, yelling, and all that kinda stuff]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Soooo those are her outfits and the bird on her shoulder is her palisman which I’m about to show.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her palisman’s name is Piper, which I was also list info about after Venus.
And then heres her beast form.
Tumblr media
Okay so, the first outfit of hers is her sailor uniform which was when Luz and her went to slay the Selkidomus on an Emperors ship which Eda had robbed while they were on it. Also where Venus met the Golden Guard (I can’t decide on a name pls help if you want/can)
The second outfit is my original idea for her to be in the Emperors Coven so it’s scrap but I might have use for it in the future.
Her third outfit is also for the Emporors coven but it’s the thin layer of clothes that she has under the cape, armor, and all that stuff but i might use it for her Grom outfit, or a sneaky outfit, maybe both though. Could just be her casual/date outfit, who knows.
Fourth outfit is her Hexside outfit, even though she doesn’t ever go and just decides to learn from Edalyn instead. She prefers learning with Eda since shes much more fun then the teachers at Hexside. However she does go from time to time just to see Edric and Emira Blight, but to also check up on Luz and her friends to see how they’re doing.
Fifth is her flyer derby outfit, nothing much to explain really. The brightest outfit of all of them.
I decided that she’s afraid of heights so she won’t be on the flyer derby team she’ll just be a cheerleader. (I’ll give her a different outfit)
Lastly, her sixth outfit. Just a loose shirt that covers her shorts, along with thigh-high socks and some sort of animal slippers.
The yellow gem on her chest is for the same reason as Eda, because Edalyn had a child a while after getting cursed. The child was cursed too and they hadn’t realized because when Eda got cursed she was 15 so her daughter’s curse will not show until she is 15 which she is currently. (idk its just how I think about it don’t hate please.)
Uhhh I’m not sure if theres anything else to explain..so I guess I’ll just start writing the backstory even though I don’t know a lot about Eda’s past after she was cursed but here we go!
Venus hoped that she’d get to live with her mother, Edalyn Clawthorne, after having to stay with her always yelling father. Due to her mother’s criminal records, she wasn’t allowed to keep her daughter. Being the person she was though, she took her without any regrets. Edalyn didn’t care about Venus’ father after learning the bad person he was.
Not much of a backstory but Venus started living with Eda at the age of 4 and started learning how to stay confident, strong, and powerful. She was also welcomed into ‘The Bad Girls Coven’ by her mom. I’ll make her an outfit with the shirt.
Also if/when I write the story we’re gonna learn more about Venus, I guess. I’ll make sure to put trigger warnings whenever a chapter is released.
Onto the actual needed info?

It’s one early morning at The Owl House, Boiling Isles, Edalyn “Eda” Clawthron, Eda is a tall, slender woman in her forties, with ivory skin, pointed ears, maroon lips, and golden eyes. Her untamed hair is thick, long, and layered with two tones of gray. She has a screw-in golden fang that sticks out, orange claw-like nails, and an oval amber gem on her sternum. Eda got chubby double belly, rounded face almost have double chin, thicken legs, fatter flabby arms, plump fingers and chubby foot. Eda’s life changed since many Adventures and Missions, Eda devices to take a break, Her nightwear consists of a plum sweater with amber cuffs, a stained, long, violet nightgown, and light yellow worn out bunny slippers, Eda’s nightwear lifted up by her chubby double belly, you can see her underwear wedged between her asscheeks. “Mmm” Eda let out tired groans as slowly get up from her couch. “Hoots, is breakfast ready yet?” Eda waiting for answer but no response. “Oh right, missions with Lilith and kids” Eda chuckle a bit until heard door knocking. “Ugh, I’ll get it” Eda sigh as get up slowly and use her Staff as walking crane to balance her walking, her chubby double belly almost flow her knees. “Coming” Eda let out tired yawns as waddled to her door
*Saphira was dressed up in the white cloak and saw hootie as she smiles*

Amity was making her way to the Owl House to spend time with luz. The overweight blight was very bottom heavy thanks to her mother's genetics. Something Eda definitely saw on the regular when they were both in school together all those years ago.
Amity was so ready to spend time with Luz she was excited when the door opened. All this excitement almost instantly vanished as she made disappointed face seeing it was just the owl lady.

I really enjoyed episode 1 and all that. But I had a little bit more fun about with episode 2 and need to talk about a handful of thing.
So y’kno... spoilers, if that matters, probably not.
Really good to see lumity’s relationship is not developing at a pace that would force me to make a “they be pinning” amv to the sound of every breath you take.
The magic of semantics is actually real. Structural linguistic is the most powerful discipline in the Boiling Isles. One copy of that Saussure book there is tantamount to a nuclear warhead.
I was writing a fic that involved Luz and the twins breaking into Hexside, and Emira has an AK-47 she named V. After prying, Luz finds out the Blights do some obscure arms dealings and have the two had brought enough arsenal to start a war. It wasn’t supposed to adhere to cannon. I’m scared.
The Blights are this mix of Corleone, Lannister and Oppenheimer and I love it.
Bump: Best boi. Period.
Seriously, Luz’s dynamics with everyone there is just delightful. Mittens: we all know about it, no need to extrapolate here. The twins: absolutely delightful, lots of shenanigans to be had, would commit plenty of crimes against humanity for an episode of those two hanging out with either Luz or Eda. The parents: we’ll get to that.
I know what the fandom took to be Amity’s best line from this episode and all, I agree it is indeed great. BUUUUT. her best line for me is hands down “The ingredients are... very fresh”. That’s the kind of comedic gold I keep coming back to this show for.
Odalia and Alador. Horrible, horrible people. I mean, they’re capitalists so that should go without saying. That being said I absolutely adore them and am so happy we, as fandom, had our expectations regarding them as these uber machiavelian things shattered. They’re just capitalists, and probably not the most competent ones at that. And sure, they are terrible parents too, but not so much so that a little chat with a very angry Edalyn Clawthorne wouldn’t solve it enough. Like, seriously, to my utter shock I’m considering genuinely retiring my disturbing the noise pic in favor of Odalia’s cunning business woman/con artist grin.
They are fun, I’m having fun with those characters. And their dynamic is pretty cool too. For the most we as an audience are kinda led to believe she takes a more dominant role, but then Al speaks and she actually listens. They seem to be pretty in sync and that’s cool. Also that gem walkie talkie thingy as our first introduction to oracle magic was quite neat as well.
Their dynamic with Luz is also pretty interesting. Saw a bunch of people saying their problem with Luz would be something more a priori, something more beyond her control like her beyond human, her not having a bile sack (though I still headcannon the apendix being the human anatomical equivalent: meaning Luz will fart magic, but I digress). But nope. It was just: “Yo, your friendship with our daughter is not profitable for us. So shoo”.
That means that should prove herself an asset (which she kinda already did at least to Alador), it would all be smooth sailing for our little ship from then on. Therefore, one rubiks cube (specifically for Alador) and one Camry’s owner’s manual, both things that are probably in a pile of left over human garbage somewhere in The Owl House, and Lumity is golden.
I am seriously obsessed with the idea of Luz giving Allie boi a Rubiks cube. Without any ulterior motives or anything just like “yo, dude, thought you’d like this”, he looks at it for a few moments and just responds with a “welcome to the famiglia, lass”.
Moreover, here’s the thing about us, humans. We ain’t got no magic, so we need to resort to our ingenuity. Luz experienced our ingenuity and has enough of a passing understanding of our technology for them to be able to reverse engineer it. And I don’t mean just weaponry, pretty much anything that can be sold.  She sells her human experience to them for a share of the profits and a generous percentage of stocks  and blam: she’s set for life, thus solving the Clawthorne family money situation.
To clarify: Blights = famiglia; Clawthornes = family; Nocedas = familia. Luz will start saving for christmas presents in january.
Also, the golden boi appearance at the end there. Top notch, gotta say. Funding private research on weaponry is precisely the sort of shit a tyrant would do.
So, in conclusion. Here’s Luz’s currently relationship status with all Blights.
Oldest Blight children: potentially a blossoming friendship.
Youngest Blight child: Blossoming romance.
In-laws: Blossoming business partnership.
