Gas dehydration is an important process in gas processing. The produced gas is saturated with water, which must be removed. If not removed it can create problems like corrosion, water condensation and plugs created by ice or gas hydrates. In addition other contaminants like H2S, CO2 and mercaptans must also be removed. Gas treatment systems like dehydration and gas sweetening removes these impurities and makes the gas suitable for transportation and further use.

kind of obsessed with the third person perspective of all this. imagine the purgatory arc from the census bureau perspective told like a report. a dark shadowy virus takes over your vacation island. your residents go missing while on their way to evacuate somewhere better. and when they come back they are not the same. not even close.

I have now lived in four different states for a considerable amount of time, and some are simply inferior to others based on objective rankings. Namely: Gas station snacks. South Carolina has BOILED PEANUTS at EVERY GAS STATION. There are these big drums of hot, soggy, spicy, salty peanuts, served into styrofoam cups (you grab an extra for shells). Michigan was alright too, since almost every gas station had popcorn and that’s probably a more logical road snack than wet nuts, but New Jersey… NJ’s gotta step up its game. Y’all got Wawa pizza? Is that it? Come ON. I think fried mozzarella balls in a cup would do numbers here tbh, so there are options! You don’t have to be lame! Expand your horizons!

I have...extreme intense pain in the lower abdomen and I only realised how painful it was is because, half in a dream still, I tried to grab a hold of my stomach whilst carrying another thing which was more than my weight limit, and the surge of pain was so fucking bad that it woke me up. Rolling over was nearly impossible and I thought I was going to die by tearing a hole in my fucking intestines or something.

I thought it was appendicitis at first because I'm terrified of that, however I'm not experiencing any of the other symptoms (most notably, it didn't start with pain in the navel), and based on the sites I've checked, I should be good unless I develop a fever.

To be honest, it's probably from dehydration, given that I barely drank anything today and then chugged two water bottles after hours of parchedness and I am still...incredibly thirsty.

But that's just a neat little update in my quickly deteriorating physical and mental health! If I don't make a post about the daily movie, you can probably guess what happened. 👍

Is Overgreasing Dangerous?

Greasing is an important process that ensures the smooth functioning of machines. Let’s understand these two aspects first - Overgreasing and Undergreasing. To determine which of these is more problematic could be difficult but we can definitely decide which one is more damaging. Too much grease can generate excessive heat in the bearing and may result in seal failure. When the lip seals rupture because of over greasing, it allows the harmful contaminants to enter the bearing housing. This would create excessive pressure and may collapse the bearing race. On the other hand, not putting enough grease may cause damage to the rotating parts. Undergreasing allows contaminants to enter the load zones. We can say that it's better to avoid both aspects of over and under greasing.

How to determine the amount of grease a bearing needs?

The factor responsible for determining the right amount of grease depends on the dimensions of the bearing or its housing. Greasing must be done based on proper calculations. A formula that is used commonly is as follows:

The outside diameter of the bearing is multiplied by the width (in inches), then multiply the answer by 0.114. This would give you the amount of grease in ounces required for that particular bearing. For example - If the outside diameter of a bearing is 3 inches and the width of a bearing is 0.5 inches, then 3 X 0.5 = 1.5 1.5 X 0.114 = 0.17 Thus, The amount of grease needed is 0.17 ounces or 4.8 grams.

How to solve the problem of Overgreasing?

After having a grip on how much grease to put, try to master the frequency. Take help from various tables and charts available for determining the frequency. Calibrating the grease guns could be a simple and easy step to determine the correct volume of grease. It is very important to discontinue greasing when any abnormal pressure is encountered. Manual grease guns used in the industry have a few disadvantages. The poor control of grease guns may lead to over/under lubrication. Because they are low in cost, easy to use, and allow the technicians to inspect the equipment during the tasks, industries prefer using manual grease guns.

Setting up a maintenance program could be a game-changer. Keep a track of each grease point and schedule maintenance & inspections for the same. Initially, it may take some time and effort but the end result would be great and impactful.

Zoro is absolutely a passenger princess when he and Sanji go on road trips. And not just because Zoro would by them lost but because he’s a napper and because Sanji 1. Needs Control and 2. Secretly loves to feel like he’s serving Zoro by acting as chauffeur

They’re not the kind of couple to hold hands on road trips but only because Sanji drives stick (Zeff taught him and he’s proud of that). Zoro DOES like to rest his hand on Sanji’s knee which does impede hear shifting a little but it’s fine

Sanji is a “pee every time we stop for food or gas” person, while Zoro will only piss if he feels like it (and he never does— he gets dehydrated on trips).
