What is the Beta Ratio?
The beta ratio refers to the efficiency in which a given filter element removes the particle of a given size. The Beta Ratio is calculated using the ISO multi-pass test standard 16889:1999.

So, to purchase a filter with a beta ratio of 2-10 is considered poor, it is advised to use filters with at least a Beta factor of 75 and 98.7% effectiveness. High quality, efficient filter assemblies can achieve 200 to 2000 Beta Ratio for given particle size and should be ideal to achieve a low level of contamination.

NWR #25 and #26: The Sodor Turbomotives.
The Sodor Turbomotives 1 and 2, AKA Orkney and Andreas respectively, are identical Pacific Steam Turbine locomotives, who work on the NWR. Orkney, who despite her name, is actually a girl, was originally the LMS Turbomotive #6202, built at Crewe Works in 1935. She was surprisingly down to earth for a express engine, especially compared to other LMS engines such as Lord Rathmore (later Big City Engine) and Princess Elizabeth, probably due to the fact that like most steam turbines, she had a really big problem with running at low speeds. This really didn't bother her too much however, and she often stood up for the little guys on the LMS. In 1946 however, one year after WW2, she was trialed on the NWR after Gordon broke down and was sent away for repairs. After doing quite well, she was purchased by the NWR later that year, and later got upgraded to be more efficient at Crovan's gate works. In 1949, her younger twin brother "Sodor Turbomotive 2", named Andreas after the last king of sodor, was built as another reserve express engine, and made so She didn't feel lonely as the only member of her class. In 2019, the two turbomotives were given the numbers 25 and 26 respectively, after sporting no numbers prior. Andreas is a Friendly yet timid and insecure engine, doubting if he could be as good as a normal steam locomotive most of the time, but he always has his older sister Orkney by his side, and the two care for and support each other a lot, "a bond as strong as iron" they would say. Since 2013, they have also been given there own express trains.
And before you ask, my AU's 6202 was purchased in 1946, before she was rebuilt into a LMS Coronation Class and destroyed in the Harrow and Wealdstone Crash of 1952 in real life.

A Nuclear reactor is just a fancy steam engine that uses fission instead fire and the part that explodes is a boiler it's literally the steam mechanism by which Locomotive boilers fail where the crown sheet gets too hot melts out a hole and the boiler turns into a steam powered trebuchet

Were you referring to the Union Pacific Steam Turbine Electric? They were a pair of Experimental Steam Turbine Locomotives with an Electric Transmission built by General Electric in the 1930s but they had a lot of issues however they were streamlined with a bulldog nose similar to many early diesel electric Locomotives like the EMD F3, FL9, E7 and F7

Would you be willing to give us some more about Zephyr and Betla?
Zephyr-aka the GT3, one of my favorite all time engines. A gas turbine built as a 4-6-0, her delayed construction meant she was considered outdated on arrival to British Railways. She performed well, and was lived by her crews. There was nothing mechanically wrong with her or her performance, but BR wanted diesel electrics and she was considered non-standard. Shes part of the NWR now on the Little Western, running mixed trains from Arlesdale to Mantaou. I really hope someone makes a new build irl.
Betla was a steam outline built to be destroyed in a stunt for an action movie. Those plans were derailed when she awoke. The NWR supplied a (non-living) replacement in exchange for her. While actually a diesel, she has been enthusiastically adopted by her Britannia class 'siblings'.
She mainly pulls freight on the mainline from Tidmouth to Barrow, but occasionally will pull passenger trains on especially hot days during dry summers, to reduce the chance of a lineside fire breaking out.
(They didn't even use the shot of the replica in the movie, instead using cgi for the crash)
