anyways, i don’t have it all completely planned out, but the story is largely as follows:

[ACT ONE]

this act is primarily focused on Setup, and claudia and abigail don’t meet yet. we follow abigail throughout season one of hannibal (which remains largely unchanged except for being set in the 70s rather than in the 2000s), but we also learn abigail’s history prior to the events of season one: delving into her character, her gender transition (she’s trans femme in this), and her relationships with her mother, father, and marissa schurr.

meanwhile, claudia, who is alive(in highly classified and spoilery ways), is hunting for mason verger. (the vergers are now vampires and mason is now the one who kidnapped claudia, not bruce) she finds margot verger instead and the two hatch a plan to kill mason. this fails, leaving margot wounded (and with court ordered therapy…) claudia helps nurse her back to health and they begin having a situationship(ish)

[ACT TWO]

this is where the madness officially Begins. claudia and margot quickly realize what hannibal lecter is. claudia follows him, and discovers abigail. the two begin talking, abigail unaware of who (or what) is visiting her. they become… close (gay gay lesbian gay), and claudia doesn’t share her discovery with margot. (alexa, queue causal by chappell roan)

hannibal pays for abigail’s gender affirming surgery and just generally is his manipulative self.

meanwhile, alana bloom is putting together a psychological profile for a serial killer known as (revolutionary), ‘the vampire.’ this killer is likely female, drains her victims of their blood, and targets sexual predators. her name is margot verger. (dun dun dunnnnnn… and the cat and mouse game begins)

(this is about where i realized that in doing away with the toxic yaoi vampire love spiderweb, all i’ve done is create my own toxic yuri vampire love spiderweb.)

on the eve of mizumono, when hannibal tells abigail to pack her things, abigail alerts claudia that something is happening. claudia arrives just as… The Thing happens. she doesn’t have time to kill everyone, only to grab abigail and race to the verger mansion, where she begs margot to turn her. (woah look it’s a parallelism)

anddddd that about concludes the parts i’ve fleshed out, except that there will be Revenge and Patricide. x4. sorry not sorry xx they’re all going to hell.

Just realized that the gunshot wounds on Garret Jacob Hobbs are in nearly the same places as the antler wounds on Elise Nichols.

And yet, Will Graham is a horrible shot, and doesn't have the stomach to pull the trigger

Really makes me wonder if he ever kills someone the way he wants to, rather than just copying the MOs of others. I would love to see a role-reversal AU where Will is a notorious copycat who never kills in a unique way.

I listened to the audio at the end of aperitif and counted nine gunshot sounds, which means Will shot Hobbs once for every girl he victimized; 8 dead with Abigail as his ninth.

um anyway isnt it fucked up how will considers himself a father to abigail for literally the entire runtime of all 3 seasons even though she literally says "just because you killed my dad doesnt mean you get to be him." like buddy i do not think the relationship you think you have with her is anything close to the one you actually have

this!!! will and hannibal are EQUALS. abigail’s tragedy is that she will always be the sacrifice, always a tool for her fathers. garrett jacob hobbs sacrificed her so he could keep her near, hannibal sacrificed her to keep will, and will sacrificed her to keep hannibal.

abigail, (for the short time we had her actual character on screen and not the memory palace/hallucination appearances) was desperately trying to find her own meaning and purpose. she wanted to break free of her fathers, she didn’t want to be defined by their sins. but she is doomed to always be a pawn, to always have her meaning be ascribed to her. her tragedy is that she will never be her own person. she will always be a victim of the people who were supposed to take care of her

i hate when people call will graham a sacrificial lamb coded character. like no!! abigail was the lamb. will is humanity, corrupted. hannibal was playing god and abigail had to die so that he could forgive will of his betrayal.
