traditions [garrett denali]
description: If I may ask I'd love to see Garrett snuggled up for a night with his human mate. Snow outside, she's got hot coco, fuzzy pajamas, a warm blanket and a fire and the two are watching Christmas movies(The classics of course! Nestor the long eared Christmas donkey is one my family always has to watch). I'd just love to see him all domestic and coddling his mate. Please and thank you for your time!
requested by: @twilightlover2007
warnings: none
thank you for requesting! merry christmas!
Tumblr media
"be careful, it's hot." your mate, garrett, warned you softly as he handed you a steaming cup of hot cocoa. you smiled at him, noting how he had gotten it just right - in your favorite red mug, with whip cream, mini marshmallows, and cinnamon sprinkled on top.
"thank you." you told him, blowing the steam away as you did. garrett smiled back at you before positioning himself next to you on the couch. he adjusted the blankets around the two of you, making sure you had the majority of them so you wouldn't get cold while the two of you cuddled.
garrett had your human nature down - he was always putting your safety and needs above his own and was always considerate of how different your statuses were. this was his first christmas with you and he was picking up on your traditions quickly as well.
for example, the hot cocoa, mountain of blankets, and the christmas tree decorated perfectly were all part of your christmas holiday. and now that you were both settled, he had put on one of your favorite christmas films of all time - nestor the long-eared christmas donkey. your family had watched christmas movies every year as a kid and it was a tradition you continued yourself as you got older.
you smiled again as the movie began, cuddling further into garrett's side as you took a sip of cocoa. his arm was wrapped around your shoulders, tucking you tightly into his side. you peeked a glance at him, your heart filling when you saw him watching the movie with honest eagerness.
you leaned up to kiss his cheek, catching his attention. "thank you. this has been one of the best christmases i've had in a long time."
garrett smiled and leaned down, pecking a quick kiss to your lips. "i'd have to agree. i don't celebrate much anymore but i'm glad i get to with you."
you had to reach up and kiss him again, your heart filled with love for your mate and the christmas season. "merry christmas, garrett."

Twilight Garrett with a mate that does martial arts and was in the Army
Let’s say he gets bored waiting for the volturi he begins asking someone to fight him for “practice”
You take him up on your offer mainly because you’re tired of hearing the preaching of how much better they are than the volturi by not eating humans
He immediately notices your stance and he figures out you’ve had training in some form
Your fighting isn’t erratic, it is instinctual but more in the way that you’re trained to see the best way to win a fight
He becomes fascinated the longer the fight goes on, when you win he becomes hooked
He becomes inquisitive, asking about where you learned to fight, why you would want to learn, and when it came in handy
Then he finds out you were in the army and man this guy has a million questions
What’s changed, who’s in charge, are there good leaders, what’s basic training like, wait what do you mean the army can have phones during basic, what weapons did you use, what’s your MOS, why did you join?
While all this information draws him in he wants to know more. So you compare stories, talk about the life you remember.
He doesn’t stop when the confrontation is over, you both decide to take you time going home.
After a few more days he decides to just keep walking with you, and soon enough he decides he doesn’t want to be nomad anymore.

Style- Garrett x OC
Garrett x Lucy
Description: Garrett likes Lucy’s style.
Word Count: 1.3k
Tumblr media
Lucy, in general, was well known for her fashion sense all around Forks. People considered her clothes to be…eccentric at best and just plain odd at worst. She, like Alice, was a fashion designer. Their styles were drastically different, though. Alice loved to work with darker colors. It made sense considering she, along with the rest of her “family,” were extremely pale and darker shades worked best with such a skin tone. Lucy, meanwhile, always went with more colorful pieces. She took more risks and honestly, they usually paid off. She made brighter colors work for her.
As a matter of fact her bright clothes were what first caught Garrett’s attention. All the other vampires in the Cullen home (permanent and temporary) wore dark and muted colors. It seemed that black, white, tan, dark blues, etc were the unofficial dress code. Well, except for the second shortest girl of the Cullen clan. Instead, she wore a seventies inspired dress with white, yellow, pink, orange and brown vertical stripes as well as long white flower lace sleeves along with three inch white platform shoes to get her up to a solid five foot three inches.
Almost as soon as he saw her, their eyes met. It didn’t take them long to understand the bond between them, which brought a smile to both their faces. Their eye contact didn’t last long before Garrett’s eyes trailed down to her outfit, examining it. She took the time to do the same to him. Normally, she absolutely detested dark colors because they just felt so basic and flat to her. But that all seemed to change when Garrett wore them. He made them look good to her, which was not an easy feat.
With her study of him done, she found herself looking at his (admittedly handsome) face and trying to gauge his reaction to her clothes. By this point she was used to the looks she received from the other residents of Forks and even a few vampires that were now in her home, but for some reason Garrett’s gaze felt different to her. Perhaps it was the fact that he was her mate? That was the best she could come up with as she watched him.
It looked like he was trying to figure out whether he liked it or not. For the first time since she’d started designing she felt…self conscious. She hated it, it made her feel awkward and shy, not wishing to know what he was thinking. Either way it was hard to tell as he kept his face totally neutral, which did not help in the slightest.
Just when she felt like she couldn’t take it anymore, he finally looked at her. Once again their eyes met, though instead of having an impartial gaze, his eyes now had a hint of mirth in them. They matched the small smile that formed on his face as he spoke.
“I like your style.” That was all he said, but it was more than enough for Lucy. She found herself smiling in relief as she thanked him.
Garrett was pleasantly surprised to learn that her attire wasn’t just for special events, but were in fact her everyday outfits. It was a breath of fresh air for him, which in turn made Lucy pleasantly surprised. She found herself becoming giddy that he liked her style. And it seemed that her fashion sense wasn’t the only style he liked about her.
The next morning Lucy, Garrett, Zafrina, Bella, Edward, Carlisle, Ramona, Benjamin, Eleazar and Kate had gathered in the woods a few miles away from the Cullen home. They’d decided to practice channeling their powers and train for whatever could potentially come from the confrontation with the Volturi. The others watched as Bella took hold of Edward’s hand as Zafrina focused her gaze on both of them, presumably making him see something that the others just couldn’t. The man shook his head as he looked around, eyes looking rather distant compared to the rest of him.
“If she weren’t holding my hand right now, I could swear this was real,” Edward muttered as he shook his head, impressed. Bella also shook her head, but for a different reason than her husband’s.
“I don’t see anything.”
“Edward, you didn’t tell me your mate is a shield,” Eleazar piped up. While a look of understanding appeared on the boy’s face, Bella just became more confused.
“What’s a shield?”
“It’s a defensive talent,” Lucy explains.
“It’s why I couldn’t read your mind, even before. And why Aro couldn’t,” Edward adds, looking at her.
“You have a very powerful gift,” Eleazar concluded. Lucy then watched as Kate suddenly grabbed Bella’s hand. They stood there for a moment, then the Denali girl dropped her hand with an impressed expression.
“Oh yeah, she’s a shield alright. Should’ve put her on her ass.”
“Or your voltage has been exaggerated,” Garrett spoke up from beside Lucy, making the others look at him. Kate turned to him with raised eyebrows, holding her hand up as if she was daring him to touch her. It seemed that the man wasn’t one to back away from a challenge because he took a step towards the blonde and began reaching out.
“I wouldn’t do that,” Lucy warned, though he took no heed. As soon as their fingers touched Garrett was electrocuted enough that it caused him to fall to the ground. A gasp escaped Lucy at the sight, and she watched worriedly as he stood up. He didn’t seem to be hurt from what just happened. Instead he looked impressed.
“You are an amazing woman,” he said simply. A twinge of jealousy shot through Lucy as the duo shared a smile. She hadn’t felt this way since 1948, when her sister and Jasper met and almost instantly fell in love, and she instantly remembered how much she hated it. It wasn’t a good feeling seeing something like that and she was tempted to leave. Before she could do so, Benjamin suddenly faced her.
“Lucy, Edward tells me that you have a unique gift. I’ve been meaning to ask what talent you possess,” he said, which effectively turned everyone’s attention to her.
“Oh, you wanna talk about a powerful gift?” Laughed Ramona from the other side of Benjamin. That instantly eased the tension in Lucy’s shoulders and she found herself smiling at the girl.
“Well? What is it?” The Egyptian boy asked curiously. Before answering Lucy took a deep breath and closed her eyes, feeling her body morph into who she wanted to look like: Benjamin.
“I don’t know, you tell me,” she finally responded. What surprised everyone was how similar she sounded to him. It was almost creepy how uncanny it was. An amused smile appeared on Carlisle’s face.
“If you couldn’t tell, Lucy has the power to shapeshift and perfectly mimic whoever she thinks of,” he explained to the others.
“And that includes power recreation,” Lucy added. She looked down at the ground and hovered her hand. Just moments later a Juliet Rose bloomed out of nowhere. Within seconds she looked like her normal self, and she looked around at everyone else. Those who hadn’t seen her powers looked thoroughly awed by the show, but no one more than Garrett.
“Incredible,” he breathed out, which made her look at him. If she thought he looked impressed by Kate’s show of powers, he looked absolutely amazed by hers, like he’d just seen something life changing. Lucy knew that if she was still human, she’d be blushing with the way he was looking at her. She watched as he crouched down and picked up the flower. He kept his eyes on the flower as he stood back up, and their eyes met once he was at his height. A small smirk appeared on his face as he brought the flower up and nestled it into her hair.
“I like your style.” And just like that, things felt normal to her again.

Twilight Imagines- Benjamin
First Sight
Tumblr media
[Masterlist]
Requested by: @twilightlover2007
Summary: in where the Cullens are getting multiple covens together to help them convince the Volturi that Renesmee is not a danger Benjamin spots [Name] and is immediately enamored by her. Even with her two year old daughter. Also finding out they have similar abilities.
I sit in the living room with Bella and Edward as we watch Renesmee play with Athaliah. I cross my arms, holding myself. "How do you feel?" Edward asks me suddenly and I turn to him. "Read my mind." I roll my eyes, he scoffs out a laugh. "I'm asking so you can let it out."
He responds, I look back to the girls. "Yeah, we haven't talked much since you found out about her." Bella chimes into the conversation. I frown for a second.
"It's a weird situation, I don't really know how I feel." I tell them in all honesty. One second Renesmee was a newborn and seconds later she was months old and now she's physically 4 years old.
"I just wish we didn't have to deal with the Volturi. Once again." I hold my head in my hands. Last time we dealt with them was when I turned into a vampire, Athatliah was only 16 months old. They were worried that I would turn Athaliah.
We had to convince them I wouldn't go near her until I had control over my thirst and she wouldn't know anything about us until she was the age of turning or if anything I would fake my death and she'd never see us again. It's something I don't even want to consider. It's something I have 16 years until I have to truly think about. The Volturi believed us when Aro looked into Edward's mind along with mine. Also with the fact that my ability was strong, I would put up a fight. They didn't need any of their men dead.
"I wish that woman just talked to us before running straight to the Volturi. She's also going to get killed." I lift my head back up. Renesmee takes Athaliah over to us and they both smile. I pick up my daughter, placing her on my lap. Edward doing the same with his daughter.
"All right, lovely, it's time for a nap." I stand up. "I'll meet you guys outside." I tell my two best friends before walking upstairs. They have a crib that was originally for Renesmee in Edward's old room. I place Athaliah down. I could tell she was tired so when she started crying I knew it was only for a few minutes.
The first year of her life I cried almost every time she cried. I couldn't handle it. My mom was a huge help since Athaliah's dad left in the beginning of my pregnancy. His parents moved to a whole different state so he didn't have to be a father to our baby. I grieved the relationship in the beginning. I don't really care anymore.
Bella was the only friend I've had ever since giving birth. Other people judged right away. Not Bella. She sometimes would babysit for me if I had to work and no daycare. My mom would pay her as well. Edward then started to help with her. Then he bonded with Athaliah as well. They both became an aunt and uncle to my daughter. I am forever grateful for them.
When her cries stop I snap out of my thoughts. Quietly slipping out of the room. I go downstairs and join everyone outside. Bella and Edward showing the new vampires renesmee's gift. I look off into the distance to see Carlisle and Esme coming our way with three new people. They're from the Egyptian Coven, they drink human blood. I lock eyes with the younger looking man. His eyes were a dark red. They felt entrancing. I couldn't look away. That was until Rosalie comes up to me.
"Could you help me with something?" She asks in a quiet tone, I furrow my eyebrows but nod my head. Following after her. Feeling eyes watch me the entire time. The blonde leads me back into the house where Zafrina, Kachiri, and Senna were standing in our way. "These ladies are from the Amazon coven. They wanted to meet you." Rosalie speaks softly, I place a hand on my chest, confused on why they would want to speak to me. "They've heard of your ability." Emmett tells me, I let out a little 'oh' standing straighter.
"Zafrina likes meeting people similar to her. Having incredible gifts." Kachiri informs me. "What's your gift?" I tilt my head, intrigued. The quiet woman smiles slightly, staring at me. Focusing on something and then suddenly I'm not in the house anymore. I'm back outside. But not our outside. A different place. A place I've never seen before. It was gorgeous.
Then I'm back in the house and I stare at her with wide eyes. "That... was amazing." I tell her, utterly in shock. She grins back to me. "We'd like to see your ability." Kachiri says, I make a face, turning to Rosalie and Emmett who nod their heads for me to do it. "We'd uh, we would have to go outside." I lead the way outside, in front of the porch. The three from the Amazon Coven stand on the porch with Rosalie, Emmett was standing in the door frame.
I smile to them as the cloud above us gets darker than earlier. Their expressions are confused until I bring my arms in the air and it starts raining. It was sprinkling at first then thunder struck. I felt the others crowd around me. I then make it storm. Everyone getting soaked. And then suddenly it stops as I stop focusing on the sky. I take a deep breath. The others begin to clap.
"That's just a tiny bit of what she can do." Emmett roars out, I nod my head sheepishly. "How did you find that out?" One of the Denali sisters ask me. "When I turned, the pain caused a storm. The wind was strong. The weather was insane that night. Later on when I wasn't paying attention and every time I had a huge emotion, a storm began every time. It's a lot easier to control now." I smile as I then make it begin to snow. Renesmee runs up to me with a huge smile. I pick her up so she can play with the snowflakes.
"This is a powerful ability... The Volturi would have no chance against us." Garrett laughs beside Kate who has a tiny smirk on her face. "You could deflect my electricity and make it more powerful." She tells me, lifting one of her hands to show me the electricity coming out of it.
Then everyone begins to talk to one another about it. I place Renesmee down, she holds my hand though instead of running off. I listen outside of the others to see if Athaliah has woken up but her breathing is still slowed. I can tell she's about to wake up. Her naps aren't very long lately.
A person walks up to me, startling me. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." It was the younger looking man from the Egyptian Coven. I wave a hand. "It's alright, I was trying to make sure my daughter was still sleeping." I sigh out, looking down to my niece who was staring up at the man.
"Your daughter?" He asks, looking around. "Her name's Athaliah." I tell him, we begin to walk inside the house, Renesmee sticking by my side because I think she knows we're going to see my girl. "Beautiful name." He compliments, I quietly thank him. His looks are entrancing I can barely focus on what is being said.
It goes silent between us until Renesmee speaks up in a small sweet tone. "He can make tornados, smaller than yours though." I smile down at her. "Really?"
I've only created a tornado once and right as it formed we made it disappear. That was before Renesmee was born though. Of course Emmett told her about it though. "Our gifts are incredibly similar." He tells me. Before he can say anything else though I hear my daughter begin to stir. Her tiny whines sounding out to down here. "Oh, I have to go, I'll be back." I step up the first couple of steps. He stands there, I can tell her wishes to say something though.
Renesmee was already running to the bedroom though. "What's your name?" I ask him.
"Benjamin." He says. I smile. "Beautiful name." I then head up the stairs.
Renesmee is playing with Athaliah through the bars of the crib. I smile, heading over to them and picking up my daughter. "Let's go play downstairs." Renesmee says, taking my hand once again and dragging me back down. Benjamin was still standing there just as he was before I left.
I was glad to be honest. I was hoping he waited for me. "This is Athaliah, Athaliah, meet Benjamin." I bounce her on my hip, pointing to the beautiful man. She tiredly looks to him.
Then suddenly doing grabby hands at him for him to take her. I furrow my eyebrows. It usually takes her a minute to get used to new people. He sticks his hand out, letting her grab onto it. It wasn't enough though she lunges her body forward so he could take her out of my arms. I laugh. "Sorry, you don't have to-"
"I don't mind as long as you don't." He puts his hands out and I shrug my shoulders, handing her over to him. Renesmee watches, a little bit annoyed until Edward comes in and tells her to go with him somewhere. I watch as my daughter puts his face into her hands. I then wondered if that was a good idea looking at his eyes which were red. Meaning he eats humans.
I bit my lip. He looks over to me and I think he can sense my worry. He gives me a short smile and places Athaliah down. She walks back to me, hugging my legs. She's still waking up.
Later in the night Bella and I were getting the girls to sleep. Athaliah sprawled out, her arm going over Renesmee's torso. She's holding onto her hand. I look up to see Bella looking at someone. I trace where. It was Benjamin who was sitting beside Jacob. He was staring at me though. "He seems enamored by you." She whispers, careful not to wake the kids. I snort out a laugh. "Yeah, okay. He wants a single mom." I joke, rolling my eyes.
"I mean the whole time he's been here he's been staring at you. He keeps trying to talk with you and he's brought you up to us every chance he gets. Asking about your ability." She informs me and I give her a look. "Yeah, he's interested in my ability. Not me." I sit up straight, crossing my legs.
"You're so oblivious, [Name]." She comments, sitting up as well. We eventually get up listening to Vladimir and Stefan talk about how they despise the Volturi and why. They were characters, that was for sure.
I sit down by the fire, a log was already there but no one else was there. They all went to different areas of the woods. I stared at the flames wondering how tomorrow was going to go. Someone sat beside me but neither of us spoke. I didn't even move my head to see.
"[Name]." The person speaks up after moments of silence. I hum out in response. "I uh I've never been left this speechless before. I don't know what to say around you." It was Benjamin, I smile to myself before turning to face him. "I'm boring, I apologize." I say, now just observing his features and I wonder what he was like as a human. If he was always this perfect.
"No, you're not at all. You make me nervous. It's a feeling I don't think I've ever experienced." His eyes lock with mine and I badly want to look away. But I can't. I'm stuck in place. "When did you turn?" I slightly change the subject. "1815." My eyes widen to his answer. He begins to laugh at my reaction. "Sorry, that was rude." I rub my hands together, finally looking away due to embarrassment.
"I expected it, when did you turn?"
"Last year."
"A newborn practically and you're that in control of your ability?" He seemed to be surprised.
"I couldn't control my ability completely until maybe six years after turning." He then ignites fire from his pointer finger. "You control the elements?" I ask in amazement. "And you control the weather." He states.
"Our abilities are incredibly similar." I laugh, excited. Watching the flames on his finger tip before he closes his fist and it goes away.
For hours we talk about our abilities, about his life before turning. I do the same. Telling him a bit about Athaliah. It never felt like a bad subject bringing her up like it usually does with men.
He actually asks about her and that's where I feel he doesn't want to be with me but to be friends.
"Your daughter truly has your looks." We both look to my sleeping daughter who is still sprawled out. I smile. "Thank you. She's my everything." I tell him.
"I can tell."
"I'm interested in getting to know you more." Benjamin says, this time he cautiously takes my hand into his. Making sure I was okay with it before gripping a little tighter. "What do you want to know?" I nervously ask.
"No, I mean courting you. You being mine, me being yours." He explains, I scrunch my nose before saying. "it might be forward, I know this. But you, seeing you, talking to you today. It only makes me want to be yours more."
"What about Athaliah, she comes with, we're a package deal. I'm a single mother. She's human, you eat off... humans." I take my hand back, now giving him a serious expression. It feels crazy but I feel the same way. I feel so strongly for him and I can't lose it but I also have to put my child first.
"I'll love her as my own. I'll eat animals for you both. I'll learn." He assures me, I pause for a moment.
"This feels crazy." I laugh out. "But I'll give it a try. I'm interested in getting to know you more." Even though we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow I don't care. I deserve to be happy even for a little bit.

“It's really good to hear your voice saying my name, It sounds so sweet. Coming from the lips of an angel Hearing those words, it makes me weak” - lips of an Angel, Hinder
-------(3rd pov)-------
Bella and Edward's wedding ceremony went off without a hitch and now they're husband and wife. Y/n clapped for her little brother dispite the lonly and aching pain she felt, she wanted what Edward had.
During the reception y/n turned off her hearing aid, getting tired of all the noise that surrounded her. She was leaning against the wall away from everyone when her best friend Eleazar came up to her.
“you okay?” he asked, she didn't respond too stuck in her day dream. Eleazar nudged her, making her look his direction. She turned her hearing aid back on a smiled.
“you turned your hearing aid off again?” he asked. She shrugged. “I hate how loud it was getting”
“try listening to all this with vampire hearing” Eleazar joked.
As the friends talked something or someone cought her eyes. She looked over and saw a scruffy vampire joking with Emmett and Rosalie. She pointed towards the vampire. “hey El, who's that?”
His gold eyes shot to the direction she was pointing. “I don't know... Friend of Edward's maybe”
Garrett looked around as he was joking with Emmett, he tried to ignore the smell of humans everywhere as he had promised not kill anyone, but then one smell cought his attention, it wasn't an appetizing smell... It was a smell he was attracted to. He looked over and saw a woman, the prettiest one he's ever seen.
He couldn't explain the emotions he was feeling, but he knew one of them was jealously as she laughed with a guy he didn't know. He nudged Rosalie not taking his eyes off the girl.
“who's that over there...” he pointed at y/n. Rosalie smiled. “that's y/n.. She's the newest member of the family, she's kinda like our big sister”
“she's gorgeous” he mumbled and for a second he forgot about the advanced hearing him and Emmett possessed. Emmett smacked him upside of the head. “that's my sister... My human sister”
Garrett, not phased by the smak walked towrds y/n, completely ignoring Emmett's threats. As he silently walked towrds her he felt relieved as another woman whisked the guy she was talking to way.
“Hey, I'm Garrett” he said flashing his devishly handsome smirk. “you looked lonely”
“y-you mean board” I she chuckled. He smiled then looked at all the couples dancing. “would you care to dance?” he held out his hand, y/n didn't know why but she took the strangers hand.
“I'm y/n by the way”
“Garrett” he replied as he pulled her to the dance floor and flawlessly swayed around the room among the other couples his ruby eyes stared into her's like a love sick puppy. “can I ask you something?” he asked.
“Sure” part of her thought he'd ask about the hearing-aid, it's always the first thing people notice about her. But not him, the first thing he noticed was her eyes. But then he asked somthing cought her off guard.
“Do you believe in love at first sight -or should I walk by again?” he grined. She let out a chuckle and looked away as she unexpectedly blushed at the cheesey pick-up line.
“really? You've been spending too much time with Emmett it sounds like” she joked. Before he could awnser Jasper came up with smile but his eyes held fire.
“can I cut in?” He asked. Y/n gave her brother a weird look as Garrett released his hands from her.
“Sure”
“what was that about?” she asked putting her hands on his shoulders. Jasper just shrugged. “What, I can't dance with my sister?”
“you can but, Emmett and you both have been acting weird, so has Eleazar” I said as we danced to a more up-beat song.
She looked passed Jasper's shoulder and saw Garrett talking to Rosalie. He looked up and their eyes met. She immediately looked down when he flashed her a smirk.
The smiles, the pick up lines, it didn't go no where the rest of the night. It's not like he had the chance, her brothers and best friend wouldn't leave her side. It didn't go anywhere passed a dance, or so she thought.
After Bella and Edward left for their honeymoon people dispersed throughout the next two days. But one didn't leave, Garrett hit on her every chance he got and she didn't know why. She was sure it was just in his nature to do so, but it was annoying.
She always felt a little insecure about her hearing aid, she never thought a guy would find it attractive. She got over it thought and she wasn't ashamed of who she was, but then Garrett shows up and she starts to question everything.
~~~~~~~~(.......)~~~~~~~~
It was night three and Garrett still. Hadn't left, he used the excuse that he wanted to catch up with Emmett. He wasn't catching up with Emmett.
That night she sat on the roof of the house trying to get some peace and quiet, but she wouldn't be alone for long.
“Any chance you have an extra heart? Mine’s been stolen” Garrett smirked as he jumped on the roof and sat next to her.
“Garrett” she said simply.
“Yes?” he smiled.
“shut up” she smiled softly and shook her head.
He chuckled, she looked at him and she couldn't held but laugh with him. They talked into the night, important and useless stuff on both ends.
“can I ask you something?” he asked”
She nodded. “how did you get thing on your ear?”
She recoiled and moved her hair over it without relizing it. He grabed her hand gently stopping her. “I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you”
She shrugged. “I've had it as long as I could remember... I was one of Carlisle's patience before he took me in”
“I know thst look” he started as he read her body language. He could be all jokes but over the centuries he learned how to read people.
“I didn't realize it when we first met ya know? I noticed your eyes” he said. She looked into his red ones and saw nothing but the truth. Being around Edward for some long she learned how to read people too, just the human way.
“I think your beautiful” he admitted. She looked at him shocked at his boldness, but then she couldn't deny the connection between them. Without out thinking he leaned down and connected her lips to his could ones. He froze for a second, not expecting it but his brain quickly rewired and he pulled her closer.
~~~~~~~~(1st pov, present time)~~~~~~~~
The whole family was in shock when Renesmee was born, the little miracle quickly terned into a curse when Irina outed us to the vulturi.
We gathered many witness, even some of Garrett's old war buddies. The house was full of red eyes and being human thst wasn't so great. Garrett knew that too which is why he wouldn't leave my side for too long, and if he did Eleazar or carlisle would be with me, watching me like a couple of body guards. As much as he loved being around my brothers I think those two are the only ones he really trusted.
He especially didn't trust Vladimir, not because he thought he would drink me, but beacuse he saw the way Vladimir would look at me and flirt with me. He was nice and I was too head over heals about Garrett to realize the flirting.
After Garrett told me his concerns I started to notice Vladimir's flirting... Then it started to get annoying. Tody was one of those days.
Vladimir smirked and continued to flirt, you could tell it was getting on Garrett's last nerve. Vladimir then tunred to carlisle. “carlisle, do those little hand movements you and Garrett always do, she can't hear me”
I snorted “I'm not ignoring you, my hearing aid just doesn't like you” I said not taking my eyes off my book. “and it's sign language you Dracula want to be”
Garrett smirked as I snapped my book closed and left the living room. “that's my girl” he smirked and followed after me.
We got threw the week though and the kid was safe and so was the family. The witness said their good byes thought out the week and left for home. The Denalis were the last to stay, which was nice to just morn the death of Irina.
Sigh...
I don't know how it happened really, one second I was saying goodbye to my knew friend Benjamin and then the next I'm lying in the woods covered in my own blood... I couldn't hear a thing either.
~~~~~~~~(Garrett's pov)~~~~~~~~
I looked around the house feeling uneasy. Y/n hadn't been back yet and that was unsal for her.
“have you guys seen y/n?” I asked coming into the living room. The family looked up confused.
“somethings wrong” I mumbled. Some of them shrugged and said she usually disappears after a 'family emergency'
“maybe she got tired of you and left for Egypt with Benjamin” Emmett joked. I knew it was a joke but I was to nervous to think of a usual comeback.
Everyone chuckled but Eleazar looked at me just as worried. “your right... Somthings not right”
Alice dropped something and gasped. She looked panicked, I feared the worst. “it's y/n”
I didn't think twice and was out of the house in seconds with Carlisle and Eleazar behind me. We raced around the woods frantically. The deeper we got the stronger the smell of her blood was, I gasped feeling sick at how strong it was.
I stoped and saw her hearing aid. “over here!” I shouted. Eleazar was at the scene first. I jumped back aginst a tree at the sight of her... Blood never looked so sickening.
“Garrett she needs you right now” Eleazar said as his hands socked up the blood as he checked her womds
“I can't do it” I gasped. “changer her! Please before she dies”
I closed my eyes as Eleazar bit into her. I would be sobbing like a baby if I was human.
~~~~~~~~(1st pov)~~~~~~~~
When I opened my eyes everything seemed so clear. I could see the tiniest cracks in the wall and every single dust partical.
I heared birds chirping. I was so loud it was like the bird was on my shoulder yelling in my ear.
Wait..
I reached up and I didn't feel my hearing aid. I immediately sat up and looked around. My eyes stopped on Garrett. He looked so relived.
“are you okay?” he asked frantically. My eyes widened at how clear his voice sound, I could always sort of hear him but to hear him clear as day made me want to cry.
“say something eles” I said ignoring the question. He looked at me with a questioning look. “What?”
“say something! I can hear!” Garrett shot up immediately with suprise. “oh shit!”
He looked around with the biggest smile. “oh my god! I love you! This is great” he picked me up and spung me around.
“I love the sound of your voice” I chuckled. He pressed his lips to mine in a passionate kiss. “I love you” he said.
“love you too”

hi! i’ve been really enjoying hearing your thoughts on the whole “olympic coven” thing (tbh it wasn’t something i had really thought about a lot before — i always just thought of them as “the cullens” lmao so i’m learning lots of new things)
but omg let me just say re: your possible alternative names post — “st. carlisle and his disciples” is canon!!!!!!! to me!!!!!!!!
i feel like to a lot of the other vamps the cullens do seem kinda cult-y, and even to the ones who know/like carlisle, it does kinda feel like there’s a little bit of an eyeroll and a “yeah my weird friend carlisle who likes helping humans — strange but charming i suppose”
i guess maybe it wouldn’t be like an “official name” but i absolutely 10000000% can see other vamps calling them that casually, or maybe it’s one of those things that was a joke one time and then it stuck
anyway, i just wanted to say that reading “st. carlisle and his disciples” sent me into absolute hysterics and then i was like “oh shit that’s so good tho like that’s literally them”
i hope you have a lovely day!! 🥰🥰
I'm sure I'm not the first person who has used some variant of that, but I find it so funny too and it seems like human nature--or, well, vampire nature--that Carlisle's whole deal would rub some vampires the wrong way, or they'd be inclined to tease him.
I sort of imagine it really started in Volterra, with its proximity to Rome/the Vatican and the seat of the Catholic power. Carlisle's not Catholic, but I'm sure to ancient vampires who pre-date Christianity, that distinction is hardly important. "The Vatican's that way, Your Holiness," etc.
I also suspect that early on Carlisle was probably a bit more "preachy" in the sense that he was 'young' and native and idealistic and the first few times he met another vampire he had probably assumed they'd be THRILLED to learn the Good News that animal blood was enough and they didn't have to kill people. And he'd give them this pitch that probably sounded like the vampire equivalent of someone knocking on your door and trying to convert you to their religion.
There's also this thing people do where they get kind of . . . defensive, in a weird way, when they meet someone who opts out of doing something that 'everyone' else does. For example, I don't drink alcohol. Not for religious or moral reasons, but more about family history, mental health and a genuine lack of interest. But some people get SO WEIRD when this comes up, like they think I am judging them for drinking or think I think I'm better than them for not drinking. And I imagine Carlisle gets this from other vampires, too that even if he's not proselytizing, other vampires still get this defensive reaction and respond with "okay St. Carlisle we get it, you're pure and holy and we're soulless demons."
But yeah, pre-BD I wouldn't have guessed he has as many friends as he does; I had kind of gotten the impression that only the Denali coven and Aro liked him and everyone else found him kind of annoying, the Ned Flanders of vampires. BD paints a different picture of vampires who like him, would risk dying for him, but I imagine there's still an element of teasing there, especially with the likes of Siobhan and Garrett. Maybe less the off-putting religious zealot who tries to convert you and more like the weird hippie vegan friend who lives on a commune. Nice guy, means well, but super weird.

When she's changed they're not sure if she will gain eyesight as Carlisle said there are some things even venom can't fix. I think it would make Garrett melt being the first thing she's seen. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Please and thank you!!
(A/N: I apologize for how long this fic took, I was having a few problems with my computer. Nonetheless, I enjoyed writing this! Garrett and his human soulmate may just be my favorite thing to write🤭. I found the dynamic between Garrett and this reader to be so refreshing to express. I added a bit of my own twist to the end with the readers abilities, so I hope you don't mind. As always, Enjoy!)

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the twilight characters, nor do I claim them as my own. This work is purely fictional.
Summary: You had come to terms with the fact that you would be blind for the rest of your life, and the fact that you would never know what your lover, Garrett, looks like. But what if there was an accident, and you had to be changed? Would the venom grant you your eyesight?
‼️TW‼️: Mentions of blood, physical injuries, slight angst
Word count: 2,331
“Describe it again”, Your voice holds a pleading edge as you lay your head back on Garrett’s lap, “Please?”
“I’ve already described it two times, my love” Garrett chuckled, his thumb traced over your cheekbone. He was looking down at you, you could tell by the way his voice echoed.
You closed your eyes, snuggling further into him, “A third time couldn’t hurt.”
“ I guess not,” Garrett hummed, “ The snow, as I said is white-”
“White is the color that feels like pillow feathers right?” You inquire, rubbing your fingers together as if you could imagine the very feeling.
“Mhm-hm”, Garrett hummed in agreement, “ The snow itself is falling fast. Some of it is hitting the window beside us, while most of it is landing on the ground. The pine trees, the spiky ones, are covered in it.”
You shifted before he could continue, “ What does it make you look like, the snow? Does it make your hair a different shade? Do you get paler, if that’s even possible?”
“ I thought my appearance wasn’t important-”
“-It isn’t!” You reassure, “ I love you for who you are, obviously. I just want to know how you change with the seasons.”
“ His hair is a shade lighter. It goes from a cold tone to a warm tone, and no, it isn’t possible for him to get paler” Kate’s voice echoed from down by your feet. The Denali’s had been your makeshift family for quite a while, that’s how you had originally met Garrett. Kate had befriended you, despite the fact that you were just a human. You were a ‘fun soul’ she had insisted.
Then, after a visit from her cousin Carlisle, Garrett randomly appeared. Apparently, during Carlisle’s visit, he had come to the conclusion that you were the type of warmth Garrett needed, and he was right. The two of you clicked instantly. With Garrett, it was like you could see the world, even if you physically couldn’t. He made you feel whole, despite the rest of the world thinking you weren’t. Garrett never figured out how Carlisle guessed you would be his mate, but he’ll be forever grateful nonetheless. He had since then become happier, and healthier as the Denali’s would put it. Garrett hadn’t touched a human in the years he’s known you.
“Thank you, Kate, at least someone is helpful” You snort teasingly.
Garrett scoffs sarcastically, If I’m not helpful, then I guess you’ll have to find another mate who will read to you.”
“Carmen would” You huff, folding your arms stubbornly.
“Speaking of Carmen, she wants Garrett to take care of a bear problem” Kate informed, she must’ve been standing in the doorway now since you could barely hear her.
You didn’t need perfect eyesight to know that Garrett had rolled his eyes, “ and here I thought Kate had come to visit because she missed us”
Tanya had been gracious enough to let you and Garrett stay in the guest cabin, which was only a ten-minute walk from the main family house. It gave the two of you all the privacy and independence you needed but still remained close enough for the others to pop in and out.
“Will you remain here while I take care of the bear, or would you like me to take you over to chat with Kate-”
You sighed, cutting him off before he could worry anymore,“-Darling, we’ve lived in this cabin for years now, I can handle myself long enough for you to handle a pesky bear.”
“Yes, I know, and I’m not doubting you” Garret paused to cradle either side of your face, “ but leaving you in this house so far from the others just worries me. I'm sure Eleazor can handle the bear.”
You pulled Garrett’s hands from your face, “Garrett go, I will be perfectly fine while you’re gone.”
“Stubborn as ever” Garrett grumbled underneath his breath.
You snorted, “I heard that.”
“ You were meant to” Garrett replied before turning away, “I’ll only be gone a moment. Don’t venture outside the snow is getting worse-”
“-Gooooo” You groaned, tired of the princess treatment. Garrett mumbled a quick, ‘fine, fine’ under his breath before whisking away. The rush of air he left behind aided the deep breath you took. The house was now silent, and normally you hated silence. This, however, was nice. A moment of true independence is what you needed. Not that Garrett didn’t give you that, because he did, but he also smothered you sometimes. You had dealt with the challenges of being blind long before you met Garrett, and you would continue to deal with it even when he wasn’t there.
A thump near the door caught your attention. You cocked your head to the side just in time to hear it again. It was heavy and repetitive. Your palm slid flat against the living room wall as you moved closer to the door. Normally you would use your walking stick when venturing outside, but you only planned on opening the door this time, not exiting it.
“Hello?” You called out loudly, hoping that whatever animal it was would scurry away before you opened the door, but as you paused, the thump sounded once more. You opened the door slowly, cracking it just enough for you to step one foot outside. The sound was louder now as if it was right next to your head. You took your hand off the door for only a second, a second too long apparently. Before you could comprehend what was happening, your foot lost its grip on the first step and you were descending downwards. The icy steps met your back harshly, probably cracking a rib or two upon their greeting. Your head received the worst of the fall it seemed. It hit the cold step so hard that the ice turned warm, or perhaps that was just blood that you were feeling. Your heart stuttered at the pain, and Garrett had heard it. He was back by your side before the muscle inside your chest could beat again.
“ No, no, no, you were supposed to stay inside” Garrett panicked, he slipped a hand under your neck so that he could assess the damage. His undead heart would’ve dropped to his stomach if it could’ve. Sat at the bottom of your head was a gnarly gash that trickled blood onto the snow.
“Garrett-”
He put his other hand to your cheek swiftly, reminding you of his presence, “Yes, my love?”
He could see struggle decorate your features momentarily, “ I can’t move anything. Why can’t I move?”
Garrett stilled,“ Don’t worry about that. I’ll call Carlisle and he’ll fix everything-”
“-Why can’t I move?” A phantom ache spread across Garrett’s chest at the panic in your voice.
“Carlisle will explain everything, I promise” Garrett slid his hand away from your face and place it beneath your legs. Slowly, and carefully, he moved you back into the house. He placed a towel beneath your head and called Carlisle at the same time. The blonde doctor was quick to reassure Garrett that he would be there as soon as possible, and that he was. Carlisle took no more than a half hour to reach the Denali residence. Kate had been the one to greet him at the door. She explained how bad your condition had gotten, and just how much blood you had lost. Carlisle knew what he would have to do before he even entered the house, and it seemed Garrett did too.
“ Carlisle” Garrett greeted.
Carlisle nodded in return, “Hello again, Garrett. How is she?”
“ She is still awake, no need to talk about me as if I’m not” You spoke quietly, though to you it sounded loud.
“ My apologies” Carlisle chuckled, “How do you feel?”
“ I don’t feel anything, that’s the problem” You sighed.
“Alright-”
“ My sight had already been taken from me, Carlisle” Your voice didn’t quiver or hesitate, “ I can’t lose my mobility as well, please.“
Carlisle looked to Garrett before speaking again, “ What would you have me do then?”
“ Garrett knows what I want” The silence afterward was heavy. There was no need to ask if you were sure, or if you knew what it would entail. Garrett knew you were serious, but he also knew that he couldn’t be the one to do it. He had only become vegan a few years ago. The taste of human blood, especially yours would send him into a frenzy, and Garrett would never forgive himself if he couldn’t stop.
“Garrett” Carlisle was asking permission, he wouldn’t just turn someone else’s mate without their consent.
Garrett nodded, “ I trust you, Carlisle.”
“ This may hurt, I’m sorry” Carlisle apologized before leaning in. You didn’t feel the bite, but you sure felt the venom. It was as if your blood had turned to glass within your veins and then shattered into a million different pieces. Each and every one of those pieces then drove themselves deeper and deeper into the very mapping of your body. Garrett gripped your hand tightly as your back bent off the couch. He watched the muscles in your body tense and tears leak from your eyes.
Garrett looked to Carlisle solemnly, “Will she be able to see?”
“I’m not sure,” Carlisle answered honestly, “ There are some things that not even venom can fix. Truth be told, I have no way of telling if the transformation will work.”
“ It will, I told her it will” Garrett mumbled.
Carlisle’s lips pursed, “You know it isn’t up to us.”
It took a full day for the venom to work its way through your body. Garrett sat by your side the whole time. Kate and Tanya stayed for the first few hours, but once the sisters realized that the transformation would work, they left. Everyone knew Garrett would want a moment alone with you when you awoke.
When you finally did wake up, you didn’t bother to open your eyes. You had gotten so used to using your other senses that you were overwhelmed with how sharp they were. Every noise outside, from the birds chirping to the crunch of a hiker's boot that was acres away reverberated clearly throughout your ear. The fabrics of the couch beneath you felt like individual threads rather than twine that had been sewn together. Eventually, when you did open your eyes, a familiar stranger was there to greet you. You had never seen this man in your life, but you knew who he was. It didn’t take the auburn hair or golden eyes to know that he was Garrett, your Garrett. You reached out, a bit shakily, to touch his face. He was real, very real. You watched your hands meet the porcelain of his cheek. His skin crinkled under your palm as he smiled widely.
“Kate wasn’t kidding when she said you couldn’t get any paler, huh?” Your voice was even different, more melodious.
Garrett wanted to laugh, “ You’ve finally seen my face for the first time and that’s what you choose to say?”
“Would you rather I list every physical feature of yours that I find intriguing?” You jest, “because I could’ve sworn you insisted that your appearance wasn’t important.”
“It’s a relief to see that immortality didn’t take away her sass. I’m not sure we would’ve survived without it” Your eyes flickered to where Carmen’s voice sounded from. The brunette stood in the doorway with a smile just as warm as her voice.
Your eyes lit up with joy, “Carmen, it’s wonderful to finally see you.”
“ Oh come on, why does Carmen get a warm sentiment? I was the first person you saw-”
You shot Garrett a look over your shoulder, “Hush up, you child.”
It took not even a second to realize that Garrett had actually gone quiet. Both you and Carmen shot him puzzled looks. To which you received the same. Garrett's eyes were wide with confusion and his jaw was clenched tightly. He had indeed gone quiet, just as you told him.
“ I think we’ve figured out your gift already” Carmen chuckled,  “ You’ll have to tell him to speak again.”
You let out a sarcastic snort, “And how would I do that?”
Carmen moved to stand at your side. Her hands positioned your head to look at Garrett once more, “ Look in his eyes and tell him to speak.”
You roll your eyes in disbelief before clearing your throat, “Alright, um..you may speak now.”
“ How did you do that?” Garrett sputters the second his mouth opens, “Nevermind, I know how, but wow that’s….that’s kind of hot actually.”
A laugh tumbles from your lips, “Only you would think that’s hot.”
“Not only is it hot, but it’s brilliant. Do you realize how much power your eyes now hold? I mean you made me do something with the slightest of eye contact” Garrett had moved to hold your face in his hands, his lips pressing gently beside each eye.
“Not sure it’s something to brag about-”
Garrett scoffs, “ Oh please, if you won’t brag about it, then I will. I want everyone to know just how brilliant my woman is.”
“Oh, your woman?” You gape in mock offense. Garrett hangs his head with a deep chuckle before attempting to correct himself. Carmen watches from the side with a smile on her face. Eyesight or not, you were still the same person, but the way your eyes refused to leave Garrett truly warmed her heart. The two of you continued to bicker as she backed away, leaving the two of you to explore your newfound gifts. Which you indeed did. The two of you used your newly bestowed abilities to travel the world. You were able to see so many things for the first time, and with Garrett by your side for all of it. Just like he would be for the rest of your eternal lives.

Yandere Garrett Denali (Breaking Dawn) x Reader
Chapter 1: Meeting the Yandere Male Lead
You sighed, rolling around your bed as you just finished reading another yandere fanfic. It must be nice to have someone obsess over you to the point of being taken against your will to be "protected".
But then and again, that's also fucked up.
" Not like I'll experience those things in real life. Yanderes in reality are actually really scary, I think" You mumbled to yourself. That's another weird thing about you. You liked talking to yourself and creating weird fantasies in your head. People on social media call it Maladaptive daydreaming but who cares, right?
As long as you keep yourself entertained.
Glancing at your window, you noted that it was dark already. Glancing at your phone, it read 7PM. Meh, maybe you can ask permission from your parents to allow you to walk around the park at this time.
Yes, you're already 26 years old but growing up in an Asian household and just moving here in America for a short vacation means you still need to ask your parents before going outside. They were very strict and overprotective of you after all you were the youngest and a woman at that.
"Hey mom, can I go outside for a while? My room feels stuffy and I think I need a walk."
"Honey, its already dark and-"
"Mom, its just 7PM and I'll just be in the park near our house. I won't be long, just maybe 30 minutes. You can't keep treating me like a child forever." You cut her off and ranted.
She sighed and look at you wearily.
"Fine but bring your pepper spray and taser, okay? You know there's a high crime rate in this country. And call me if someone's bothering you. Remember, don't talk to any strangers!"
Luckily your father was meeting with some old friend since he probably won't allow you if you asked him instead.
"Yes mom, I know. I love you." You kissed her cheek as you happily went out.
Breathing in the night air, you carefully watched for anyone following you. Living with overprotective parents made you a little paranoid yourself and you hated it.
Seeing no one around as you finally approached the park, you sit in the swing. There were streetlights every corner so it helped ease your nerves a bit.
"Okay, calm down self and just enjoy the view" You talked to yourself as you gaze at the stars. Rocking yourself back and forth on the swing, your mind immediately comes up with different scenarios for your favorite character.
Giggling to yourself as you were swept up in your imagination, you suddenly stop when you felt the hairs on the back of your neck suddenly stood up. Something's wrong.
Glancing warily at your surrounding, you caught red eyes peering at you from a distance.
"Shit!" You cursed and immediately bolted out from your place.
You hated running when you feel scared since it felt as if you'll be chased the moment you do but this time, all your senses were telling you to run which you did.
'Don't look back, don't look back' Your mind chanted when you suddenly feel someone breathing down the back of your neck.
"Shit, fuck!" You shrieked, increasing your speed. Now, you wished you've exercised more as you were lacking in stamina and speed to probably outrun this crazy motherfucker.
Finally reaching your house, you bolted through the gates and quickly locked it before knocking furiously on your door.
"Mom, let me in!" You cried and dared to finally look behind you with your pepper spray ready. Much to your relief and horror, no one was there.
What the fuck?
The air was still and nothing extraordinary moves. Your eyes swept your street and you found nothing at all.
Okay, that's seriously creepy.
"Oh dear, what happened?" Your mom looked at you worriedly and you hurriedly entered your house and locked the door.
After giving a thorough explanation of what just occured, you both made sure the doors were locked and all windows were closed.
"I know, I won't go out again" You said in defeat as your mother gave you a knowing look.
After taking a bath, you went to your bed to read some fanfic so you can forget what happened when you see something move quickly outside your window.
Weird, you thought, gathering your courage and taking a quick peek behind your curtain. There's no one outside.
"Okay, okay fine, maybe its time to go to bed" You sighed, getting under the covers. Unlike the usual, it didn't take long before you drifted to sleep.
Garrett's POV:
I just finished feeding on another unsuspecting prey. Human blood sure taste delicious especially when they struggle.
It was still early so I head around the park to enjoy the night breeze when I saw a young girl sitting on the swings alone. Her face looks blank as she stare at nothing in particular. There was certain serenity around her that piqued my interest. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to observe her for longer than I would have like when it seems as if she sensed me.
Our eyes made contact for a moment and it seems as if time literally move slower than normal.
'Mine' The first thought that came to my mind. I glance down and saw a red string tied to my pinky connecting to hers before it turns invisible. After centuries of living, I finally found my soulmate.
Unfortunately, my excitement didn't match hers as I probably comes off as something creepy. Her innocent eyes widen in fear before she take off.
Of course, her speed is nothing compared to mine and as I chased after her, I relish the sound of her heart pumping vigorously. I can easily reach out to catch her but enjoying this moment, I teasingly breath down her neck and had to hide my chuckle when she cursed and ran even faster.
So cute!
I had to stop myself from embracing her and taking her right then and there as I realized I scared her too much tonight. Hiding behind a concrete wall, I watched her quickly enter her property and knock at the door, her eyes finally trying to search for her 'stalker'.
Seeing her distressed face made me suddenly feel guilty. I shouldn't have teased her so much. After thinking of ways on how to make up to her and have a proper introduction, I saw the lights on her room turn off and her bedside lamp open.
Jumping on the ledge of her window, I try to peek between her curtains to see her one last time before she sleep but I think she sensed me again when she suddenly draw her curtain to gaze outside.
'Too close' If I still have a heart, it would have been beating hard as I barely hid myself the last moment. She can't see me. At least not yet.
'Soon' I promised, closing my eyes as her scent wafts over my senses.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Your POV:
The weather today was gloomy. Dark clouds hang above with the promise of rain and the occasional breeze was chilling you to the bone.
Your favorite kind of weather.
"Ah, this is really nice" You mumble to yourself. It was still late afternoon so you got permission to go to the nearest grocery store to buy ingredients for dinner.
'Ohh chocolates!' You excitedly pick out a bar of Twix when a hand reach out the same time you did, accidentally enclosing it around yours. The hand was a lot bigger and you tilt your head back to see a really tall stranger in black clothes looking down at you with surprise etch on his face.
'Woah so tall and handsome!' You inwardly squealed.
"Oh sorry!" You smiled at him nervously and motion him to go pick up his chocolate first.
"Ah, no it was my bad. Go ahead." He smiled at you.
Okay, what in the freaking romance movie shit is happening? That's weird cause you swear you were the only one in the aisle that time so since when did he appear?
"Oh no, no, its really okay. Anyway, I still have to pick up something so yeah, goodbye and thanks!" You awkwardly bowed at him and left the scene in a hurry.
'Ah shit, that was awkward' Sighing to yourself, you decided to pick out the ingredients first and then return later when the stranger is gone.
Finally getting out of the store, you carried your things ready to go home when a voice broke your thoughts.
"Hey, fancy seeing you again here" The stranger from before walked up to you casually. In his hands were a bag from what he had bought in the store.
He wore a jeans and shirt topped with black jacket and a necklace was hanging on his neck. Truthfully, he's gorgeous but something seems off about him.
"Yeah, hi"
"You got the chocolates, darling?"
Okay, he's suspicious. Why the heck is he talking to you and calling you darling? Is this what they call creeps here in America? Too bad if he's one as he's actually handsome.
"Yeah" You shortly answered and proceeded to ignore him as you start walking. He followed you, walking alongside as he strike up a conversation.
"Uhm sorry but do you need something? I don't know who you are but what you're doing is making me uncomfortable" You wanted to use the 'Leave me alone or I'm going to call the cops line' but you refrain from doing so and instead waited for his response.
"I'm sorry darling, my name is Garrett. Charmed to meet you." He proceeded to take your hand and plant a kiss on the back of it while gazing at you seductively.
If you knew how to blush, you would have been bright red by now but since you do not, your comical expression seemed to amuse him instead.
You never thought in all your life, you'd experience a guy kissing your hand like in those historical films. The slight stubbles on his face tickled your skin and you hurriedly take your hand away, the sensation of his soft lips on your hand imprinted on your mind.
"What the fuck?" You unconciously said out loud. "That's-"
"Romantic?" His teasing smile returned and you gave him a horrendous look.
"No, its creepy! What the heck dude?!"
"I can hear your heart beating faster than normal" He supplied.
"Yes cause what you did is just, I dunno scary? Leave me alone, bro" You said and proceeded to hightail it out of there.
"No wait, I haven't got your name yet" He touch your shoulder and it felt like an electricity zapped you. He retracted his hand, looking at it weirdly. Ah so he felt it too. Must be static electricity or something.
"I don't know who you are and no, I'm not giving away my name to any stranger. Now please leave me alone or I will have to call the cops" You finally said, giving him a stern look.
Garrett looked down at his mate, threatening him. Her small stature made her look so vulnerable instead. An adorable mouse trying to play tough before a lion, he chuckled at the thought. Finally unable to resist himself, he leaned down, embracing your form as he sniffed your neck in hunger. You smell so divine, so heavenly. He wanted to claim you as soon as possible.
Your squeak in response only made him crave you more. You have absolutely no idea what you're doing to him.
Placing a kiss on your neck, his lips linger as he feel your pulse rate increasing, the flow of blood rushing in your veins and your heart thumping erratically inside your chest.
He pull back and grab both your cheeks to look at you. You pupils were blown wide as you gaze at him in fear.
"You don't understand it yet but you will soon enough. You're mine."
Daintily placing a kiss on your forehead, he gaze at you one last time before turning to walk away from you.
You reach your house in silent contemplation. Still shocked at the turn of events, you numbly greeted your mom who worriedly voiced her concern to your unusual self. Debating on whether to tell her or not, you decided to tell her another time as your mind were still reeling from what happened.
After changing your clothes, you lied in your bed and stare out your open window. Down the street, you saw him staring at you and you shriek in response. The next thing you know he wasn't there at all.
'What the heck, am I hallucinating?' you grimly thought, rubbing your chest to calm yourself down.
"Goodness, that guy sure acts like a real life yandere. I mean I like them in fanfics but geez, I don't need a yandere in real life" You talked to yourself as you closed you windows and curtains seeing as it was soon to be night.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
You carelessly flung your sheets as you prepare for bed. You had just finished showering and doing your bed time routine but still feel annoyed with your parents lecturing you again about your diet.
"Well maybe I want to die early by consuming sweet foods, the heck they care about it" You grumbled to yourself while closing your lamp. You always feel like enclosing yourself in darkness when you let your irritation washed over you.
It has been sometime probably when your window suddenly slam open.
Sitting up quickly, you watched as two red eyes peer at you before a tall, well build man entered through your window with ease.
You grab the nearest object which is your pillow- fucking useless- to try and defend yourself.
"Who are you?"
"Its me, sweetheart" A soft, velvet-like voice answered.
"Wait, is it you Garrett?" You squinted in the dark before he suddenly lunged at you, pining you to the bed. He nuzzled your neck, inhaling your scent as he sighed blissfully.
Your body stiffened before pushing him off you and rushing to escape from your window.
Looking back as you run away from your house, you find him suddenly behind you, arms wrap around your waist as he run to who knows where. Wind slapped against your face as you felt dizzy and nauseous.
What's with his super speed? Is he a vampire or something?
Before you knew it, you find yourself in a forest. Thick, overhanging trees that sways with the wind coupled with the sliver of the moon slipping in between the spaces made the woods appear daunting and mysterious in your eyes. Its actually breath taking and the kind of scenery that you love but not in this situation.
"I told you before you're mine. I came back to get you" His eyes looked sincere as he softly cup your cheek with one hand.
"Uhmm, you know this is real life right? We're not in some kind of romance book shit bro. Or wait, are you taking any medications right now?"
Working as a nurse back in your home country, you've also studied about different kinds of mental disorders and you worried this guy probably have some serious issues.
Garrett scoffed and looked at you in disbelief before laughing it off.
"Come now, YN, don't be like that to your soulmate. I'm hurt."
Seeing as you don't look convinced, he sighed and stare at you seriously.
"Fine. I'll do this just once because you're special to me. I'll give you a head start for 1 minute. If you reach that specific tree-" He pointed at the pine tree with white marking on its trunk a few distance away from you.
"-if you reach that before I do then I promise I'll let you go but if I catch you first, then you're staying with me."
"Uhm for how long?"
"For eternity, sweetheart" He said, grinning mysteriously.
'Okay fuck that, I'm yeeting it out of here'
Before he can start counting to three, you immediately bolted leaving Garrett staring flabbergasted at his mate who run away without notice. Shaking his head in amusement, he gave her exactly 1 minute before starting the chase.
Running past the leaves and the branches of the trees surrounding you felt like a deja vu. This scene...it happened to you before. Then it hit your self. You had this dream years ago where you were running in a forest and someone was chasing after you. You remember reaching that tree but someone-
"Hey there sweetheart, maybe you should run faster"
Garrett's taunting voice filled your ears and the adrenaline pumping through your veins increased your stamina and speed. If you could just reach that damn tree, its so close!
Extending your hand to touch your goal, your fingertips almost brushed the rough edges of the branch when you felt his hand rest on your shoulder and his cold presence behind you.
Cold shivers ran down your spine as you felt sweat dotted your forehead. Panting heavily, you feel your heart racing in both fear and anxiety.
"You lose, love" He whispered in your ear and you can't help the gasp that came out your lips. Turning slowly, you lifted your gaze to see him with a dark, contented smile on his face.
His pale face and red eyes filled with satisfaction made you asked the question itching on your mind since the first time you met him.
"What are you?"
"I'm a vampire, darling. And I've come for you as I promised."

Hi there? Your Dome!AU musings have made me super curious:
1) How is functionally-comatose Marcus useful to Aro, when there are no vampire threats to psychoanalyze? He’d probably sign up to be dismembered in the basement
2) How would Denali be reacting to a dome? I imagine they have some wildlife, but do they stick to being “vegetarian”? Is Eleazar seizing the moment to be a local god? (I’m not sure I want to know the answer, but it’s like a train wreck— I can’t look away 😅)
3) Amun and the Romanian covens: did they also seize the day and become local gods? Do they gorge themselves and run out of warm humans?
4) nomads like Garret? How are they doing…
5) Aftermath of domes dropping: how does the global human population fare? Did Volterra do the best out of all the cities/covens? Some rankings? Sorry if this is a pushy ask, I’m a nerd hoping for some statistics
Happy Freethinkers Day!! You and Vinelle deserve awards, truly 🏆🏆
The Dome over Forks. The Dome over Volterra.
Hey thanks! Look, @therealvinelle, praise for the blogs!
With that, your questions.
How is Marcus Useful?
The same way he was before, honestly. He can detect the relationship of the people to Aro. Do the humans trust the Volturi? If they don't trust them, will they tolerate them? Who are going to be the troublemakers? Is anyone planning murder or intending someone harm?
Marcus can see all these relations at a glance where Aro would have to keep tabs on over 10,000 people who do not wish to touch his hand. Marcus can do so unobtrusively without the humans ever realizing how closely they're being observed.
Marcus can also see how the guard is performing under current circumstances and if anyone is too bitter over the dismembered guards to work properly.
Once again, Marcus is shockingly vital to operations.
The Denali Under a Dome
The Denali are in Alaska, which in itself is a fairly less populated state, but particularly in the interior where they're located. They have the national park nearby, whatever cabins are there, but the biggest population center nearby is probably Anchorage.
Point being, unlike Forks even, there's not too many human neighbors at a time to be stuck under the dome with them. Probably just a handful.
Still, they have quite a bit of wildlife, but likely not nearly the hunting range they had before and not a population that's sustainable with their feeding habits.
I imagine they try to stick to the diet as long as possible and that they scour the local population for good looking men who will want protection and comfort in this trying time.
Eventually, though, with too small a population of wildlife and people to draw from, the Denali will starve.
The Egyptians and the Romanians
Amun's likely too cautious, this smells like Volturi nonsense, Aro's trying to smoke them out for reasons Amun can't fathom or else trick Amun into breaking the law.
Amun watches as the humans lose their goddamn minds, crunching the numbers and panicking as he realizes his coven may starve very quickly.
Likely he dismembers Tia and Kebi so that he and Benjamin will have more food.
The Romanians, too, are wary they're being observed and figure Aro's just tormenting them/slowly starving them. To spite him, they choose to be very careful with their resources and force the humans to give them "blood donations" and if they don't, they just eat them. The humans quickly learn to put their blood in the bucket.
Nomads
With the dome over Volterra?
Not well.
When the world figures out that the Volturi are out to lunch competition for territory begins in earnest. Nomads have to very skillfully defend their territory and Garrett... is alone and has no gift.
Garrett's not surviving that one.
If he's under a dome, he'll slowly face starvation.
Aftermath
In terms of the wellbeing of the human population + starvation, Volterra probably ends up on top. They're draconian overlords, but their priority is keeping the human population as healthy and stable as possible.
Forks does about average, with the Cullens avoiding killing when possible, and Carlisle as an on the clock, able to be awake 24 hours, highly knoweldgeble and invulnerable surgeon at their services.
Those under the Romanians and the Egyptians do okay. They have no respect for human life, but they're wary of Volterra and don't want to lose their livestock. They're going to be careful with how many they kill and with the Romanians coming up with ways to make the blood last longer to spite Aro.
Denali wouldn't have enough humans to start with to even be in the running. The nomads would be in trouble but it depends how long they're under a dome for/how large the nearby population is for them to go through.
If you want actual numbers we'd have to get into writing the fic territory and we'd need to decide on where exactly the Romanians and Egyptians are and how long the domes are up for.

EPILOGUE: EXILE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AS WE ARRIVED BACK TO THE CULLENS' HOUSE, the sun's rays danced through the trees, casting a warm glow on everything in sight. The air was thick with the scent of victory, but also tinged with a hint of sadness as we bid farewell to our fellow vampires.
Vladimir and Stefan had slipped away into the night, their disappointment palpable but their satisfaction at the Volturi's cowardice almost enough to make up for it. Benjamin and Tia were hot on the heels of Amun and Kebi, eager to share the news of our triumph.
I couldn't help but feel a twinge of longing as I watched the other left, hoping that one day our paths would cross again. The nomads wasted no time in making their exit, leaving only Peter and Charlotte to exchange a few words with Jasper before disappearing into the night.
The Amazons, reunited and rejuvenated, were eager to return to their beloved rainforest, though their reluctance to leave was evident. As we stood there, basking in the glow of our victory, I couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with these creatures of the night, bound together by our shared experiences and unbreakable bonds.
"You must bring the child to see me," Zafrina insisted. "Promise me, young one."
Renesme had pressed her hand to Bella's neck, pleading as well.
"Of course, Zafrina," Bella agreed.
Zafrina then turned her head to me. "And I'll see you one day."
"I sure will," I replied with a smile.
"We shall be great friends, my Nessie," the wild woman had declared before leaving with her sisters.
The Irish coven continued the exodus.
"Well done, Siobhan," Carlisle complimented her as they said goodbye.
"Ah, the power of wishful thinking," she answered sarcastically, rolling her eyes. And then she was serious. "Of course, Vladimir and Stefan are right. This isn't over. The Volturi won't forgive what happened here."
"They're not used to this kind of humiliation," Gabriel told her.
"I can see that," Siobhan laughed.
Edward then answered. "They've been seriously shaken; their confidence is shattered. But, yes, I'm sure they'll recover from the blow someday. And then . . ." His eyes tightened. "I imagine they'll try to pick us off separately."
"Alice will warn us when they intend to strike," Siobhan said in a sure voice. "And we'll gather again. Perhaps the time will come when our world is ready to be free of the Volturi altogether."
"That time may come," Carlisle replied. "If it does, we'll stand together."
"Yes, my friend, we will," Siobhan agreed. "And how can we fail, when I will it otherwise?" She let out a great peal of laughter.
"Exactly," Carlisle said. He and Siobhan embraced, and then he shook Liam's hand. Then, he placed his hand on Gabriel's shoulder, looking at him. "Try to find Alistair and tell him what happened. I'd hate to think of him hiding under a rock for the next decade."
Siobhan and Gabriel laughed again. Maggie hugged Renesmee, Bella and me, and then the Irish coven was gone.
As the Denalis bid their farewells, Garrett stood with them, his new companions for eternity. The air was thick with jubilation, but Tanya and Kate couldn't bear it. They needed time to mourn their sister's passing.
Ingram had inquired of Gabriel about becoming an official member of his coven, to which Gabriel joyfully agreed. This was mainly due to the fact that Ingram and I were now officially bonded as mates, destined to be together for life.
I caught sight of Edward and Jacob by a babbling brook, observing the goodbyes with solemn expressions. I approached them.
"Hey," I greeted them. "You guys doing okay?"
"We're fine," Edward replied, his gaze fixated on Ness.
"You have a great family," Jacob remarked, and we all turned to admire her. "She's gonna be around for a long time, huh?"
"A very long time," Edward confirmed, his voice tinged with relief. "I'm grateful she has you."
Jacob beamed, and I let out a sigh.
"Hey, Jake," I interjected, locking eyes with him. "Just so you know, I wasn't actually planning on killing you when I found out about your imprinting."
"For the record," he retorted, a grin spreading across his face, "I thought your reaction was a lot more aggressive than Bella's. But definitely more than Edward's."
We all chuckled, the tension dissipating into the serene surroundings.
"Should I start calling you 'Dad' from now on?" Jacob quipped, a playful glint in his eye.
Edward's response was swift and firm. "No."
I interjected, trying to lighten the mood. "Let's not try to impress the in-laws just yet, shall we?"
Jacob and I shared a laugh, and footsteps approached me. Ingram came to my side, his arm circling my waist. "Hello, flower."
"Hello, Shadow Man," I greeted warmly, leaning into his side.
And then, our attention was soon diverted by Renesmee running into Edward's waiting arms. Bella joined us, her smile radiant as she took Renesmee's hand and placed it on her cheek.
"We're finally all together," Bella beamed.
"Don't be strangers," I offered, hoping to extend an invitation.
Bella returned the sentiment with a grin, and we were about to part ways when Seth's arrival caught our attention. His expression was tense, and I could sense something was amiss.
"Jake, you need to come to La Push," Seth said, his gaze flickering to me. "Your family is there too."
Bella's confusion was palpable. "But I thought vampires weren't allowed in La Push."
"Sam's allowed it for the first time in wolf history," Seth confirmed.
Jacob's embrace with Renesemee was a bittersweet farewell, as Edward, Bella, and Renesemee bid us adieu and made their way back to their abode. Jacob, Ingram and I stood there, transfixed, our eyes locked onto Seth.
"What's going on?" Ingram asked.
"When is it?" Jacob inquired, his voice laced with anticipation.
Seth's gaze was perplexed, his chocolate orbs darting back and forth between us. "I thought you were in the loop, man. It's happening right now."
"What?!" Jacob and I exclaimed in unison, our voices echoing through the crisp night air.
"This sounds serious," Ingram whispered,
Jacob's frustration was palpable, his body tensing up as he let out a low growl. "Why didn't Sam give me a heads up?”
"I don't know, bro. I thought you were in on it," Seth replied, his tone apologetic.
My curiosity piqued, I interjected, "What's going on, Seth?"
Seth divulged, "Sam has been preparing a meeting about Leah and Ethan." Jacob let out a heavy sigh and massaged his temples as he resumed. "He's been aware of her imprinting on him for a while and wants to convene with all the wolves, except Leah, to discuss the current situation."
My mind raced as Seth confirmed, "They're all gathered at La Push, including your coven, Violet."
Jacob wasted no time, "We need to make our way there," and with that, he and Seth transformed into their wolf forms and started making their ways.
I gritted my teeth. "We just have a meeting with the Volturi. Why go through this all over again with the wolves?"
Ingram's hand gently squeezed my shoulder, his voice reassuring. "We'll figure this out together, Violet.”
And with that, we trailed behind, hoping for a peaceful resolution to this meeting.
As a vampire, it took me a mere forty-five minutes to locate the quaint town of La Push. The clouds had mercifully veiled the sun, allowing me to survey the area with crystal-clear vision. My eyes scanned the oceanfront resorts, the seafood company, the fish hatchery, and the new marina. Memories of my human life flooded my mind, of hanging out with Bella and the school crew, and of Jacob and his friends joining us on the beach. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore echoed in my ears, and I longed for those carefree days.
But there was no time for nostalgia.
"This place looks pretty," Ingram said in an admiring voice.
"It sure is," I replied grimly.
My attention was drawn to Jacob and Seth, who had transformed back into their human forms and disappeared into the woods. I followed their trail, my senses heightened. As I walked, I caught sight of Ethan sprinting towards me, his arms outstretched. He enveloped me in a tight embrace, his voice trembling with concern.
"Violet!" he exclaimed, holding me close.
I patted his head gently, and he released me.
"I thought something terrible had happened to you," he explained, his tone fraught with panic.
"A bit of an overreaction, don't you think?" Ingram spoke.
I raised an eyebrow at him. "Me? Being a maxima? And Ingram's shadow powers? You and Leah should be the ones worrying," I retorted, a hint of amusement in my voice.
Ethan's lips formed a tight line as we set off on our walk. I couldn't help but wonder what was going through his mind.
"I'm guessing you know what's happening ," I probed, hoping to break the silence.
Ethan let out a heavy sigh, his eyes fixed on the ground. "Yes," he finally replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
I knew what he was referring to — the news of his involvement with Leah had spread like wildfire through the family and the wolves. As I looked over to my family and Leah, I couldn't help but feel grateful for their understanding. They greeted me with warm hugs and smiles, but Leah stood alone. Until Ethan stood beside her.
Joseph was the first to greet us, "And I thought we were going to get a search team."
"I'm sure there's no need, brother," said Ingram.
"Don't worry," I reassured him, "I still remember this place."
Rhona's voice was filled with nostalgia as she added, "And it felt strange for me coming back here as a whole. It's funny how everything changed."
"I suppose that's something I'll have to get used to," I replied.
My gaze shifted towards Simon and Alana, who were holding hands.
"How are you both feeling?" I inquired.
"Fine," Simon responded.
"Happy, actually," Alana replied with a smile.
I was taken aback by her response, "Really?"
Alana nodded, "Finally Ethan got himself a girlfriend."
"Mum..." Ethan muttered, his cheeks turning red.
"You all are not helping," Leah groaned, rubbing her arms.
"I'm sorry, Leah," Ethan apologised, "I just... I just don't know what's gonna happen."
"It's okay," she sighed, "I don't either."
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps interrupted our conversation. My golden eyes caught sight of Seth, his face etched with seriousness.
"They're ready for you now," he announced, looking at his sister and us. And then, Seth's gaze focused on Ingram. "And also, a bit of a head up, don't expect the wolves to be pleasant to you. You know, since you have red eyes even though you're now this Gabriel's coven now."
Ingram's expression hardened slightly at Seth's warning, but he nodded in acknowledgment.
Seth pivoted on his heel and strode ahead, leading us in his wake. We trailed behind him, our eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. After a few minutes, we caught sight of Sam's pack, all of them in their wolf forms, and three figures standing before them. Billy Black sat in his wheelchair, flanked by Sue Clearwater and Quil Ateara III, who leaned on his wooden cane.
As we approached, I spotted Ayla, my sister, standing beside Seth, her smile lighting up her face. I grinned back at her, relieved to see a familiar face in this tense situation. She clung to Seth's muscular arm, her presence a comforting presence amidst the chaos. It was clear she was in for support not just for Leah but for Ethan, me and my family.
I noticed Jacob standing beside Seth as well, his human form a stark contrast to the wolves surrounding him. My mind raced with questions, wondering what was happening and why Sam wasn't leading the pack.
Leah's voice broke through my thoughts, her whisper barely audible. "I thought Sam was doing this."
As if on cue, Sam emerged from the woods; his black wolf form was a menacing presence. Leah let out a sigh, her unease palpable.
"Step forward," Billy commanded, his voice firm. Leah obeyed, taking three steps towards the trio. The wolves growled in response, their eyes fixed on her.
We watched in silence, our concern growing with each passing moment. Something was amiss, and I couldn't shake the feeling that things were about to take a dangerous turn.
"Leah Clearwater," Billy's voice boomed through the clearing. "We all know of your unique bond with the vampire." His eyes flickered towards Ethan, then back to Leah. "But is this imprinting truly genuine?"
My eyes, the colour of molten gold, widened in confusion. What did he mean by "genuine"?
Leah's voice was steady, unwavering. "Of course it is, Billy. I felt the same pull that you all did when you imprinted. My imprintee is my everything."
A low growl rumbled from the dark silver wolf, who I now recognized as Paul.
Old Quil's voice was soft, almost hesitant. "But Leah, this goes against everything we've fought for. You know the story of the Third Wife. Can you remind us of that?"
Leah's response was quick, almost automatic. "She gave her life to save her husband from the Cold Woman."
"Then why," Old Quil's voice was barely above a whisper, "did you imprint on a cold man?"
The clearing erupted in snarls and barks, a cacophony of sound that echoed through the trees.
"Silence!" Billy's voice boomed through the clearing, causing the snarls and barks to dissipate into nothingness. All eyes turned to Leah, waiting for her to speak.
"I didn't plan for it to happen," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "But once I felt the pull, I couldn't resist. I wanted to imprint, or be imprinted on."
Jared, the massive brown wolf, let out a huff of disbelief, while Paul snickered at her admission. But it was Sam that ultimately silenced them with a growl.
"What did he say?" Ethan whispered to Joseph, his eyes never leaving Leah's face.
"He asked who would want to imprint on her," Joseph replied, his voice barely audible.
I gasped softly, watching as Ethan's expression turned to one of fury.
"Would your loyalty to the tribe change?" Old Quil asked, his voice filled with suspicion. "Knowing that you have put our protection in the hands of the enemy? Especially now when you have given them an easy access to our territory?"
"What? They're not... they don't any interest in... My loyalty hasn't changed," Leah shouted, her voice ringing out through the clearing. "They're like the Cullens, with whom we have a treaty, which still is intact. They don't hurt people, they only drink animal blood. I'm still protecting them."
"The question is, Clearwater, who are you really protecting? The humans, or the Cold Ones?"
"As I stand here, my duty remains the same - to protect the humans. But my allegiance has extended to my imprintee and his family." Leah's eyes darted towards Jacob, a smirk playing on her lips as she spoke. "It's amusing how you don't question Jacob's loyalty, despite his imprintee being half-vampire."
Jacob's growl was a warning, but it was too late. The topic had been broached, and Sue spoke up, her voice calm and measured. "We have discussed this, and we have accepted the child as non-threatening."
I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Just when we thought the confrontation was over, they had to bring up Renesmee. Couldn't they leave her alone for once? Except for Jacob of course, he couldn't leave her alone. He didn't have a choice in the matter.
But Billy's words caught my attention. "This is history in the making, Clearwater. The first female shapeshifter imprinting on a male vampire. These are dangerous waters we tread, not just for you, but for all of us in the twenty-first century."
Joseph's frustration was palpable, his eyes darting between us. "You've already made your decision, haven't you? This isn't a meeting, it's a trial!"
Another trial? I couldn't believe it. We had just barely escaped from the Volturi trial and now we were in another one like a TV courtroom. The tension in the clearing was almost tangible, a palpable force hanging in the air.
Leah's surprise was evident as she spoke up. "Trial? What decision? What's already been decided?"
Silence hung in the air, heavy and suffocating. The weight of the unknown was almost unbearable, and I couldn't help but wonder what the future held for us all.
Billy let out a heavy sigh, his eyes scanning the room as he spoke. "We have come to a decision, though it is not without dissent among us."
The air was thick with tension as Old Quil's voice boomed through the meeting. "It is the council's unanimous opinion that Leah Clearwater has committed an act of treason against the pack," he declared, his words ringing out like a death knell. "As such, she will be banished from the Quileute Tribe."
The wolves erupted in a cacophony of snarls and barks, their fury palpable. Ayla gasped in shock, while Sue silently slipped away, tears streaming down her face.
Seth's voice rose above the din, his face contorted with anguish. "What?! No!" he cried out, his tears flowing freely. "You can't do this!"
But Old Quil was undeterred, his voice steady and unwavering. "Your Quileute Tattoo will be stripped from you," he continued, his words cutting through the chaos. "And you shall forfeit all rank within the Black Pack."
The forest fell silent, the weight of Old Quil's words hanging heavy in the air. The council had spoken, and there was no going back.
Paul strolled over to Leah, his paw raised in a nonchalant manner. His claws glinted in the sunlight, sharp and deadly. Suddenly, with a swift whoosh, the sound of flesh tearing filled the air. Leah let out a blood-curdling scream as two more whooshes followed, the stench of wet dog's blood filling my nostrils. I quickly covered my nose and mouth with my hand, trying to block out the putrid smell. Leah clutched her right arm, tears streaming down her face as she fell to her knees.
Leah crumpled to the ground, clutching her injured arm with a look of pure anguish etched on her face. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she struggled to contain her sobs.
"Leah!" Ethan's voice rang out, filled with fear and concern as he rushed to her side, dropping to his knees beside her.
"Ethan!" Alana cried out, her motherly instincts kicking in as Simon held her back.
Paul and the other wolves glared at the knelt duo, their dark and light eyes filled with intense hatred. I could sense their desire to kill Ethan right then and there. And then, my fists glowed and I was ready to attack. But then, I felt a hand holding me back and I knew that it was Ingram.
"If you attack, it's not going to end well," Ingram whispered urgently, his grip firm yet imploding.
I took a deep breath, letting his words sink in, though my anger and helplessness still churned me. And then, I saw that wolves hadn't made a single attempt at attacking Ethan or us or even Leah even more.
"You can't harm him, remember?" Jacob spoke up, his voice firm. "It's our law. Whoever a wolf imprints on is untouchable."
The wolves glared bitterly at them before turning and disappearing into the woods.
Old Quil's words echoed through the forest like a haunting melody. "You will be branded as a lone wolf." The weight of his words was heavy, and I felt it in every fibre of my being. "Your power would remain, but you will no longer be welcome in the pack or tribe meetings. The Quileute pack and tribe had barred you from their midst."
My body sank as I watched the scene unfold before me. Leah, a wolf, had imprinted on a vampire - a Cold Man. The news had spread like wildfire, and the tribe had disowned her. I could see the pain etched on her face, and I felt the wave of sadness in me.
Helena rushed to Leah's side, checking her arm. "We need Carlisle," she said, her voice laced with urgency.
Ethan swept Leah up into his arms, cradling her like a precious bride, and took off running through the dense forest. But I was more focused on Billy and Old Quil. Freeing my grip from Ingram, I stormed towards them.
"Now, wait just a—," and before I could even finish my sentence, Old Quil stood up effortlessly and his cane aimed at me like he was holding a shotgun.
"Back away, cold one," Old Quil said, his tone serious.
I didn't know how to feel about this. "You know me. You all know me."
"Quil, I'll deal with this," Billy's voice was calm but commanding, and Old Quil reluctantly lowered his cane. I could see the tension in Billy's eyes, a mix of disappointment and frustration.
"You need to understand," Billy began, his voice steady. "This isn't just about us. It's about the laws that have kept our people safe for generations."
I could feel my anger rising again, but I forced myself to stay calm. "Laws change," I said through gritted teeth. "This isn't the way things should be."
Billy sighed heavily, his shoulders slumping. "Change doesn't come easy, and it never comes without a cost. Leah and Ethan's relationship has cost us dearly. It's torn the pack apart."
I glanced at Ingram, who still stood beside me, his expression unreadable. "What about Leah?" I asked, my voice softer now. "She didn't ask for this. She didn't choose to imprint on Ethan."
Billy's eyes softened for a moment, a flicker of empathy breaking through. "You're right," he admitted. "But the laws are clear. Imprinting on a vampire... it's something we've never faced before. It's a challenge to everything we believe."
I scoffed. "So exile is the only solution?"
Billy looked at me with a mixture of resignation and sorrow. "Exile isn't a solution, it's a necessity. It's to protect the integrity of the pack, the tribe, and the future generations. If we bend the laws for Leah, where do we draw the line?"
I opened my mouth to argue, but the look in his eyes told me it was futile. I felt a wave of frustration wash over me, the unfairness of it all weighing down on my shoulders. "And what about Leah's happiness? Doesn't that matter?"
"Of course, it matters," Billy replied softly. "But sometimes, individual happiness must be sacrificed for the greater good. Leah knew the risks."
"What risks? Over something she has no control over?!" I shouted at him. Then, my voice then became desperate as I stepped closer to him, changing the subject entirely. "Billy, you know me. You saw me grow up. You saw me at my lowest. You helped me when I needed it most. You know who I am. I'm Violet."
Billy stared at me and took a long breath in. His dark eyes lowered to the ground and his head shook. "I know Violet the human—," he rose his head to face me again. "But I don't know Violet the vampire."
I shook my head. "I'm the same person."
His head shook again. "Not anymore," was all he said to me and told Jacob to pushed him inside.
Billy's final words stung more than I expected, but there was no time to dwell on it. The urgency of the situation pulled me back to the present.I turned my head, catching sight of Seth and Ayla's mournful expressions as they slowly made their way towards me.
"I had no idea this would happen," Ayla whispered, her voice heavy with sorrow.
"We didn't know that was..." Seth chimed in, his tone eerily calm.
"I know," I sighed heavily. "I heard you."
We stood there in stunned silence, grappling with the gravity of what we had just witnessed.
"Violet!" Gabriel's voice pierced through the stillness, calling out for me.
"I better get going," I replied with a sudden melancholy tone.
"We understand," Seth replied in a same tone as mine and, after a quick goodbye, they walked away into the forest.
Ingram took a slow approach to me. "Violet? Flower?"
I turned to face him, and the concern etched on his face broke through my resolve. "What is it, Ingram?"
"We need to get to the Cullens," he said gently, his eyes searching mine. "Gabriel's wondering where we are."
Nodding, I tried to push the emotions aside and focus on the immediate threat. "You're right. Let's go."
Ingram and I moved swiftly through the dense forest, the sound of our footsteps muffled by the thick underbrush with the tonight's events still fresh and ached in my mind.

new beginnnings [garrett denali]
description: could you do a Garrett x wolf shapeshifter Irish reader where Garrett meets the reader during a visit to the Cullens during the Christmas holidays. This is after the battle to see if Renesmee is an immortal child or not. He finds out that she is a wolf shapeshifter. He thinks she is part of the pack, but Esme tells him that she just became part of their family after her grandfather (who raised the reader by himself, was a friend of the Cullens and knew of the supernatural world due to having many different kinds of shapeshifters in the family) passed away. She is very quiet during the holidays, he thinks it's because he makes her nervous but when she speaks to him on Christmas Eve, she tells him that she just misses her grandfather. He stays for a bit longer and celebrates Christmas with the Cullens and the reader.

"you've been staring at her for a very long time." an amused voice came up behind garrett and the vampire jumped, not used to being snuck up on. he whipped around, glaring at esme cullen's teasing expression.
"i'm not staring at anyone." he argued, though his scarlet eyes betrayed him when his gaze fell back on the irish wolf girl sitting alone by the fire.
truthfully, he had been watching her for a couple days now - since he had arrived at the cullens' house in order to witness for bella and edward's hybrid daughter. the girl was quiet, a mystery to garrett. he hadn't seen her speak much to anyone, even the boys that she had to be a part of.
"she doesn't talk much." garrett said quietly, not sure if the girl could hear him or not.
"she doesn't." esme agreed. "though, now that she's lived with us for a while, she has opened up a bit and talks quite a bit when it's just the family."
garrett snapped his attention to esme again, not quite understanding what she was meaning. "she lives here? i bet that pack of wolves love that."
"she's not in their pack." esme shook her head. "she comes from a long lines of shapeshifters and her grandfather - who was a very close friend of mine and carlisle's - raised her. we took her in once he passed."
the vampire thought for a moment, figuring it made sense. she really didn't talk to anyone outside of the cullen clan and avoided garrett like the plague - he figured it was because unknown vampires made the wolf uneasy but maybe she just didn't care for him.
seemed unlikely.
"she's a very kind girl." esme said, though her voice sounded a hint sad. "she's had a hard time since her grandfather passed, though. i think things are just now starting to look up for her."
garrett only nodded in response, his eyes still locked on the girl who'd had his attention for days now. he only wished she would pay attention to him back.
___
"you seem like you're in deep thought." it was the second time someone had snuck up on him in a matter of hours and garrett was really beginning to wonder if something was wrong with him.
this time, though, it wasn't esme. the voice was different, lighter and held a pretty accent. he turned his head, catching eyes with the shapeshifter. she smiled at him briefly, before tucking her head and joining him on a log.
"seems like i'm not the only one." garrett answered after a minute, trying to gather himself from the shock of her starting a conversation with him. "you seem like you're always lost in thought."
"hmm, sometimes i am." she hummed. the girl studied him for a moment. "the holidays are a hard time for me. with christmas just right around the corner, i always think of my family."
"i heard about your grandfather." he nodded, offering silent support.
her lips quirked a bit, almost in a wince, and she dropped her head, letting a curtain of hair fall in front of her face. "yeah, he meant a lot to me. raised me most of my life, so we were really close."
"i imagine." garrett answered. "loss can be hard and dealing with it around holidays can be even harder since you've made so many memories over the years. grieving a little more during this time makes sense."
she lifted her head then, her pretty eyes watching him in interest. it was almost like she was searching for something in him, and she must have found whatever she was looking for because she smiled at garrett, brightly.
"i've been wanting to come up and talk to you, but truthfully, you made me a bit nervous." she giggled, like the idea was absurd now. "but now i can see that there was nothing to be worried about."
a warmth filled garrett's chest as the girl next to him continued to laugh and he felt himself wanting to join along with her. "what made you decide to do it then?"
she shrugged. "it's christmas. what better time to try something new, right?"
"right." garrett answered immediately, and the pair smiled at each other again. garrett had a feeling this was going to blossom into something beautiful, and he couldn't wait to see what it formed.

garrett denali x shy shy mate?please
..
….
.
So the thing is…I don’t see Garrett with a shy mate at all. If you’re shy the best vamps for this have to be Alistair, Amun, Carlisle, Jasper, Eleazar, Carmen, Kebi, Tia, the Amazonian coven, and maybe some of the nomads.
Let’s put you in the situation he found Kate, he teases you about your power or ability and instead of confidently showing off you shrink back or blush or get quiet because every one starts to look at you…he is backing off.
Garrett enjoys a challenge. Someone who will immediately be sassy or fiery back. Someone who makes snide remarks or speaks their mind in big groups of people. He wouldn’t ignore you and may try to prompt you to talk but you have to put yourself out there which in assuming is not something you’d want to do.
There’s a chance he takes the challenge of getting you to talk or laugh but it would be more of a friendly level. He is one of the few that I think would do good with a chaotic personality. Someone adventurous and not a homebody, and while he does enjoy settling down every once in awhile he’s enjoys enjoying life to the best of his abilities. And of course no one that comes from England 😂

Hey, catch! *Throws a question!*
This time around, I ask, what are Garrett and Aro’s full names? Do they have a full name? What are some nicknames of theirs?
As always, can’t wait to see what you come up with! <3
Helloooo
This isn't very imaginative, but I generally stick with Aro Volturi for Aro. No nicknames. I, personally, don't see him as a nickname having character. aha
For Garrett, I gave him the last name Winchester, it suits him, I think. No relation to the Winchester brothers of Supernatural. Sometimes, it is Denali depending on the AU though.
Garrett tends to get Gar Bear from his sister but that is usually it. Most of the time when someone addresses Garrett the sentence starts with:
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" So he knows they're talking about him over anyone else.

When You See Him Part 2- Garrett x OC
Garrett x Lucy
Description: After the confrontation with the Volturi, another problem presents itself to Lucy.
Word Count: 2.1k
Tumblr media
Garrett and Lucy ended up finding a trail soon after so their walk would be smoother, and they were silent as they strolled down the trail, instead just basking in each other’s presence. That is until Garrett spoke.
“So can I ask you something?” He asked out of the blue.
“You just did,” Lucy pointed out with a teasing grin, earning an eye roll from him and a giggle from herself. “Sure, fire away.”
“What is it about feeding off animals that’s so appealing to you?” The question obviously surprised her, and her eyebrows shot up.
“Uh, well, it’s more of a conscience sort of thing,” she answered after a moment. “The thought of people’s blood on my hand makes me sick. At least with animals it’s more socially acceptable.” The man hummed thoughtfully as he nodded.
“I believe the same question could be posed to you. What is it about feeding off people that’s so appealing to you?”
“I don’t just choose people at random, just so you know,” he reassured her, which admittedly made her feel better. “I usually go for scummy people. Assaulter, murderers, people like that.”
“Sure, but what is it about people?” She repeated, which actually made him quiet as he thought for a moment.
“Maybe it’s the thought that I’m getting rid of the earth’s scum one by one,” he ultimately responded. Lucy’s lips pursed in thought, then she nodded.
“That’s fair, but I still don’t think it’s my cup of tea,” she spoke, earning a nod from Garrett as they continued walking.
They went home after that. The rest of Lucy’s coven were delighted to learn that she had found her mate. Edward even had the opportunity to brag that he knew it would happen since he heard both of their thoughts upon meeting. Not to mention the fact that he decided to listen in when Garrett followed Lucy out just a few minutes later, then he heard the moment they realized they were mates. It was a very amusing conversation, albeit awkward for Lucy. Was this what it was like to have an embarrassing older brother?
As the day of the confrontation with the Volturi grew nearer Garrett and Lucy grew closer. By this point they knew just about everything about each other. Garrett told her about his time in the military and his and Carlisle’s friendship despite their different diets. Lucy, meanwhile, told him everything about herself from the moment she and Alice were turned into vampires. It usually happened when Lucy went out to hunt. He always followed her, something he’d started doing since they first met. When she was done they were just walking around, away from prying eyes and ears. Not that she had anything to hide from her family, but it was nice to not have at least two or more people listening in at any given moment.
Finally the day of the confrontation arrived. Everyone was silent that morning when they got dressed and prepared to meet the Volturi. At this point Lucy still hadn’t heard a word from Alice or Jasper, which heavily worried her. Because of that Garrett opted to stay beside her as the Cullens and their witnesses made their way to the meeting place. The shifters of the Quileute tribe also joined them in wolf form.
It seemed that they’d arrived just in time because the Volturi were also only just arriving with Irina beside them, their black cloaks standing out against the pure white snow. The air was tense around both parties as a small silence settled over them. Bella’s shield blocked the Volturi’s strongest weapons like Alec and Jane. It allowed a fair negotiation and trial of sorts to commence without biased judgment from them. Even then everyone could tell that Aro still planned to initiate a battle between them, so Lucy, along with everyone else, previously decided to try and figure out who they could take.
Bella had set her sights on Alec and Jane, believing that without their powers they were helpless. However Kate desired to inflict her power on Jane while Stefan wished to avenge his coven by killing Alec. Edward decided on Demetri so that Alice could be free from his tracking power. Tanya opted on targeting Caius, and Lucy ultimately decided on Felix. He was the strongest of the Volturi, and if she could replicate his powers she could probably take him down with ease, especially when Garrett offered her aid.
It didn’t end up coming to that, however, as Alice suddenly showed up to the battlefield with Jasper in tow. They’re quickly halted by Demetri and two other guards, which made Lucy growl under her breath. Garrett quickly took her hand in his in order to hold her back should something happen. It wasn’t until Alice offered to show Aro proof that Renesmee wasn’t a threat that she was let go. The two vampires connected hands as Aro looked at the vision she was showing him.
Finally after a long, tense silence, Aro pulled away from Alice with an astounded look on his face. Once it was done, to give Aro the excuse to prevent the fight from commencing, Alice called upon two new vampires that Lucy had never seen before. She presented the male as a fully matured vampire hybrid, Nahuel, and his vampire aunt, Hulien, to give information about the existence of hybrids.
Marcus verbally acknowledged that hybrids were much akin to vampires, but Caius, adamant for bloodlust, insisted they should at least punish the Cullens for consulting with werewolves. Aro gave him a resigned look, then delivered his verdict. He concluded that "there is no danger" in regards to Renesmee. Caius was surprised and dismayed at his decision, but nonetheless complied. After further discussion amongst themselves the Volturi concluded that Irina had made a mistake about Renesmee. Unfortunately the punishment for such critical  misinformation was death, and so Irina was executed. Tanya and Kate, her fellow coven members, were enraged about it. They prepared to attack the Volturi, but Tanya was held back by Esme and Carlisle while Lucy and Garrett and Lucy held back Kate (taking several shocks from her before Bella protected them) until they calmed enough.
The coven left swiftly after that, with Aro looking at Alice and Bella with desire before following. Vladimir and Stefan, two Romanian vampires, were disappointed by the peaceful outcome as they were hoping for a chance to attack the Volturi, but they thankfully didn’t instigate any hostile action. The Cullens couldn’t hide their relief once the Volturi were out of sight. Garrett pulled Lucy close to him and she wrapped her arms around his middle in return for just a moment before Alice, Jasper, Nahuel and Hulien approached them. When they were close enough she let go of her mate and met Alice halfway in a tight hug.
“Thank god you’re okay,” she muttered into her sister’s ear, relief flooding through her for the second time in ten minutes. A small laugh escaped the girl as they pulled away, and she pushed some hair behind her sister’s ear.
“Of course I am,” she responded simply, then her eyes trailed behind Lucy. The younger girl’s brows furrowed and she turned around, realizing that she was looking at Garrett. A smile quickly formed on her face and she gestured her mate closer. Once he did as she said, she faced Alice once again.
“Alice, this is my mate, Garrett,” she introduced before glancing at the boy. “This is my sister, the one I’ve been telling you about.” Garrett smiled then looked at Alice.
“Nice to meet you,” he spoke, holding out his free hand for her. Alice stared at his hand for a second before taking it with a small smile.
“Of course it’s when I’m out of the state that my little sister finds her mate,” she said as they shook hands. It’s nice to meet you too, Garrett.”
Later that evening the Cullen’s allies began heading home as they had no more reason to stay in Forks. The Denali coven left first, too upset about Irina to stay long. Though Tanya and Kate accepted that what Irina did was wrong, they were still upset about it (and understandably so). The Egyptian coven went next, and the vampires in the Cullen home until it was just them and Garrett. One question kept swimming in Lucy’s head as their time together felt like it was coming to a close. What would happen to them now?
A battle raged inside her. Garrett was important to her. He was her mate after all, they were bound together by fate and though she didn’t mind it, he wasn’t the only one that held a place in her heart. Her sister was in Forks. Her coven, her family, was here and they were happy here. After being with them for so long, how could she possibly just leave them behind?
Lucy had been so lost in thought that she hadn’t realized that someone was beside her until she felt a hand on her shoulder. Though she didn’t flinch or jump, she was still surprised by it. She looked up from the armchair she sat in to see Garrett standing beside her, a small and comforting smile on his face.
“How about we take a walk,” he suggested softly. Lucy nodded, returning his smile before she stood up. They said a quick goodbye to the rest of the Cullens then headed out, quickly finding the trail they used the most and beginning their stroll. Usually their walks were never quiet, but Lucy just couldn’t find any words to fill the silence with. Finally, she opened her mouth to speak, but it seemed that Garrett also figured out what to say.
“Garrett, I-”
“I know you-” They both stopped immediately, then burst into laughter. Lucy couldn’t help but shake her head at them, though he was the first one to speak again.
“You go first,” he said softly. The girl nodded, then sighed softly as she contemplated what to say to him.
“Garrett, I don’t want you to think I don’t love you. These past few months while we prepared for the confrontation have been quite possibly the best days of my life since before I was turned. You’re probably one of the best things that ever happened to me if I’m being honest here,” she laughed quietly before becoming serious once again. “But, at the same time, finding my coven was another one of the best things I’ve gotten to experience. They’re my family at this point. All of them, even the ones not related by blood. And I just don’t think…” The man gave her a small smile and squeezed her hand.
“You don’t think you can leave them?” He guessed. Lucy nodded, happy that he understood what she couldn’t say aloud. Garrett stayed silent for a moment before speaking once again.
“What if we stayed here, then? Both of us?” The girl’s eyes widened at his suggestion and she snapped her head up to look at him.
“Wait, what?”
“I can stay in Forks with you,” he clarified with a shrug. “I don’t really have anything keeping me in Virginia. You’re who I want to be with, so why not?” It was Lucy’s turn to stay quiet in thought. From what she understood, what he said was true. Garrett didn’t have a coven, and he fed off humans so he didn’t have any friends. So would moving to Forks really be that bad for him? Finally, she sighed.
“You’re sure you wouldn’t mind?” She asked hesitantly. That made Garrett stop, stepping in front of her afterwards.
“Lucy, I would follow you to the ends of the earth if you wanted,” he admitted, taking both her hands in his. “Wherever you want to go, I’ll go. If you want to stay in Forks, I will stay with you. It doesn’t matter where we are. The last thing I want is for you to have to choose between me and your family.” His rant made her smile, reassurance and relief flooding through her. Without another word she threw her arms around him in a hug, which he returned with a quiet laugh.
Lucy would be getting the best of both worlds. She got to be with her mate while still being close to her coven/family. And they were happy, all of them. It was finally her turn to be happy and in love with her mate, and she did it all without her sister’s help.

Not including "Olympic" or any of the last names among the members, do you have any other ideas that could serve as a title for the Cullen coven? It just seems odd how the vampire clans are referred to by either their leader's name (James, Sancar, Hilda, etc) or geography (Egypt, Denali or the Amazons). I honestly doubt the Irish coven isn't a family unit, and maybe the Egyptians have developed a somewhat similar layout. Denali doesn't make sense considering the mixed background of all of the members (Russian, Spanish, North American, French if you include Laurent too). I don't think "North American" fits the Cullens either since they've resided in places outside the US (not 100% certain though). I'm curious, what could be titles for each coven?
My sense is that these names would develop organically over time, sort of like how surnames developed in Europe. "Oh that's Tom the baker," eventually becomes Tom Baker, "Tom who lives on the hill," becomes Tom Hill, etc. So I think in that way naming them after their founder or their location makes sense. "Siobhan and her coven in Ireland = Irish Coven" "the nomadic coven Hilda founded" = Hilda's Coven.
So I don't really know what other names might be used. I guess they could be something like "the Golden Coven" from their eyes or "The Vegetarian Coven", but the Denali could be that too. Perhaps the Denali were grandmothered in as "The Succubus Coven" and the new members just have to sort of deal with that name even though Carmen, Eleazar and Garrett never fit that description, which lets the Cullens claim the Gold/Veggie mantel.
Other reasons I Don't Care For the term 'Olympic Coven?' It's not their land, it's Quileute land, Makah land, etc. Claiming "Olympic Coven" for them adds insult to injury on that front. Also it erases the entire history of the coven before this point. I know in an out-of-universe sense they only came into existence when Bella entered their lives, but Carlisle's been around for 350+ years and the coven had existed for almost 90ish years before the events of the story. I know it's Bella's story, but this isn't Bella's Coven. She didn't found it, it didn't come into existence in Forks, and Carlisle was already well-known before the events of BD; that's how he was able to gather all the witnesses.
And it seems SM herself dropped the idea after the Vampire Index (which to me sort of read as a joke anyway? Didn't Jacob have a line like "someone needs to provide an index so I can remember all the bloodsuckers' names!" and then "see Vampire Index").
The Yellow Eyes, St. Carlisle and his disciples, that weird coven that starves themselves, Carlisle and his gifted followers, 'that one vampire who has a job and house and wife and kids, lololol", etc this all makes more sense to me than "The Olympic Coven." I guess the most poetic might be like "The Golden Ones" or something, but I imagine to other vampires it's less "golden" and more "sickly yellow."
