Yandere Garrett Denali (Breaking Dawn) x Reader
Chapter 1: Meeting the Yandere Male Lead
You sighed, rolling around your bed as you just finished reading another yandere fanfic. It must be nice to have someone obsess over you to the point of being taken against your will to be "protected".
But then and again, that's also fucked up.
" Not like I'll experience those things in real life. Yanderes in reality are actually really scary, I think" You mumbled to yourself. That's another weird thing about you. You liked talking to yourself and creating weird fantasies in your head. People on social media call it Maladaptive daydreaming but who cares, right?
As long as you keep yourself entertained.
Glancing at your window, you noted that it was dark already. Glancing at your phone, it read 7PM. Meh, maybe you can ask permission from your parents to allow you to walk around the park at this time.
Yes, you're already 26 years old but growing up in an Asian household and just moving here in America for a short vacation means you still need to ask your parents before going outside. They were very strict and overprotective of you after all you were the youngest and a woman at that.
"Hey mom, can I go outside for a while? My room feels stuffy and I think I need a walk."
"Honey, its already dark and-"
"Mom, its just 7PM and I'll just be in the park near our house. I won't be long, just maybe 30 minutes. You can't keep treating me like a child forever." You cut her off and ranted.
She sighed and look at you wearily.
"Fine but bring your pepper spray and taser, okay? You know there's a high crime rate in this country. And call me if someone's bothering you. Remember, don't talk to any strangers!"
Luckily your father was meeting with some old friend since he probably won't allow you if you asked him instead.
"Yes mom, I know. I love you." You kissed her cheek as you happily went out.
Breathing in the night air, you carefully watched for anyone following you. Living with overprotective parents made you a little paranoid yourself and you hated it.
Seeing no one around as you finally approached the park, you sit in the swing. There were streetlights every corner so it helped ease your nerves a bit.
"Okay, calm down self and just enjoy the view" You talked to yourself as you gaze at the stars. Rocking yourself back and forth on the swing, your mind immediately comes up with different scenarios for your favorite character.
Giggling to yourself as you were swept up in your imagination, you suddenly stop when you felt the hairs on the back of your neck suddenly stood up. Something's wrong.
Glancing warily at your surrounding, you caught red eyes peering at you from a distance.
"Shit!" You cursed and immediately bolted out from your place.
You hated running when you feel scared since it felt as if you'll be chased the moment you do but this time, all your senses were telling you to run which you did.
'Don't look back, don't look back' Your mind chanted when you suddenly feel someone breathing down the back of your neck.
"Shit, fuck!" You shrieked, increasing your speed. Now, you wished you've exercised more as you were lacking in stamina and speed to probably outrun this crazy motherfucker.
Finally reaching your house, you bolted through the gates and quickly locked it before knocking furiously on your door.
"Mom, let me in!" You cried and dared to finally look behind you with your pepper spray ready. Much to your relief and horror, no one was there.
What the fuck?
The air was still and nothing extraordinary moves. Your eyes swept your street and you found nothing at all.
Okay, that's seriously creepy.
"Oh dear, what happened?" Your mom looked at you worriedly and you hurriedly entered your house and locked the door.
After giving a thorough explanation of what just occured, you both made sure the doors were locked and all windows were closed.
"I know, I won't go out again" You said in defeat as your mother gave you a knowing look.
After taking a bath, you went to your bed to read some fanfic so you can forget what happened when you see something move quickly outside your window.
Weird, you thought, gathering your courage and taking a quick peek behind your curtain. There's no one outside.
"Okay, okay fine, maybe its time to go to bed" You sighed, getting under the covers. Unlike the usual, it didn't take long before you drifted to sleep.
Garrett's POV:
I just finished feeding on another unsuspecting prey. Human blood sure taste delicious especially when they struggle.
It was still early so I head around the park to enjoy the night breeze when I saw a young girl sitting on the swings alone. Her face looks blank as she stare at nothing in particular. There was certain serenity around her that piqued my interest. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to observe her for longer than I would have like when it seems as if she sensed me.
Our eyes made contact for a moment and it seems as if time literally move slower than normal.
'Mine' The first thought that came to my mind. I glance down and saw a red string tied to my pinky connecting to hers before it turns invisible. After centuries of living, I finally found my soulmate.
Unfortunately, my excitement didn't match hers as I probably comes off as something creepy. Her innocent eyes widen in fear before she take off.
Of course, her speed is nothing compared to mine and as I chased after her, I relish the sound of her heart pumping vigorously. I can easily reach out to catch her but enjoying this moment, I teasingly breath down her neck and had to hide my chuckle when she cursed and ran even faster.
So cute!
I had to stop myself from embracing her and taking her right then and there as I realized I scared her too much tonight. Hiding behind a concrete wall, I watched her quickly enter her property and knock at the door, her eyes finally trying to search for her 'stalker'.
Seeing her distressed face made me suddenly feel guilty. I shouldn't have teased her so much. After thinking of ways on how to make up to her and have a proper introduction, I saw the lights on her room turn off and her bedside lamp open.
Jumping on the ledge of her window, I try to peek between her curtains to see her one last time before she sleep but I think she sensed me again when she suddenly draw her curtain to gaze outside.
'Too close' If I still have a heart, it would have been beating hard as I barely hid myself the last moment. She can't see me. At least not yet.
'Soon' I promised, closing my eyes as her scent wafts over my senses.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Your POV:
The weather today was gloomy. Dark clouds hang above with the promise of rain and the occasional breeze was chilling you to the bone.
Your favorite kind of weather.
"Ah, this is really nice" You mumble to yourself. It was still late afternoon so you got permission to go to the nearest grocery store to buy ingredients for dinner.
'Ohh chocolates!' You excitedly pick out a bar of Twix when a hand reach out the same time you did, accidentally enclosing it around yours. The hand was a lot bigger and you tilt your head back to see a really tall stranger in black clothes looking down at you with surprise etch on his face.
'Woah so tall and handsome!' You inwardly squealed.
"Oh sorry!" You smiled at him nervously and motion him to go pick up his chocolate first.
"Ah, no it was my bad. Go ahead." He smiled at you.
Okay, what in the freaking romance movie shit is happening? That's weird cause you swear you were the only one in the aisle that time so since when did he appear?
"Oh no, no, its really okay. Anyway, I still have to pick up something so yeah, goodbye and thanks!" You awkwardly bowed at him and left the scene in a hurry.
'Ah shit, that was awkward' Sighing to yourself, you decided to pick out the ingredients first and then return later when the stranger is gone.
Finally getting out of the store, you carried your things ready to go home when a voice broke your thoughts.
"Hey, fancy seeing you again here" The stranger from before walked up to you casually. In his hands were a bag from what he had bought in the store.
He wore a jeans and shirt topped with black jacket and a necklace was hanging on his neck. Truthfully, he's gorgeous but something seems off about him.
"Yeah, hi"
"You got the chocolates, darling?"
Okay, he's suspicious. Why the heck is he talking to you and calling you darling? Is this what they call creeps here in America? Too bad if he's one as he's actually handsome.
"Yeah" You shortly answered and proceeded to ignore him as you start walking. He followed you, walking alongside as he strike up a conversation.
"Uhm sorry but do you need something? I don't know who you are but what you're doing is making me uncomfortable" You wanted to use the 'Leave me alone or I'm going to call the cops line' but you refrain from doing so and instead waited for his response.
"I'm sorry darling, my name is Garrett. Charmed to meet you." He proceeded to take your hand and plant a kiss on the back of it while gazing at you seductively.
If you knew how to blush, you would have been bright red by now but since you do not, your comical expression seemed to amuse him instead.
You never thought in all your life, you'd experience a guy kissing your hand like in those historical films. The slight stubbles on his face tickled your skin and you hurriedly take your hand away, the sensation of his soft lips on your hand imprinted on your mind.
"What the fuck?" You unconciously said out loud. "That's-"
"Romantic?" His teasing smile returned and you gave him a horrendous look.
"No, its creepy! What the heck dude?!"
"I can hear your heart beating faster than normal" He supplied.
"Yes cause what you did is just, I dunno scary? Leave me alone, bro" You said and proceeded to hightail it out of there.
"No wait, I haven't got your name yet" He touch your shoulder and it felt like an electricity zapped you. He retracted his hand, looking at it weirdly. Ah so he felt it too. Must be static electricity or something.
"I don't know who you are and no, I'm not giving away my name to any stranger. Now please leave me alone or I will have to call the cops" You finally said, giving him a stern look.
Garrett looked down at his mate, threatening him. Her small stature made her look so vulnerable instead. An adorable mouse trying to play tough before a lion, he chuckled at the thought. Finally unable to resist himself, he leaned down, embracing your form as he sniffed your neck in hunger. You smell so divine, so heavenly. He wanted to claim you as soon as possible.
Your squeak in response only made him crave you more. You have absolutely no idea what you're doing to him.
Placing a kiss on your neck, his lips linger as he feel your pulse rate increasing, the flow of blood rushing in your veins and your heart thumping erratically inside your chest.
He pull back and grab both your cheeks to look at you. You pupils were blown wide as you gaze at him in fear.
"You don't understand it yet but you will soon enough. You're mine."
Daintily placing a kiss on your forehead, he gaze at you one last time before turning to walk away from you.
You reach your house in silent contemplation. Still shocked at the turn of events, you numbly greeted your mom who worriedly voiced her concern to your unusual self. Debating on whether to tell her or not, you decided to tell her another time as your mind were still reeling from what happened.
After changing your clothes, you lied in your bed and stare out your open window. Down the street, you saw him staring at you and you shriek in response. The next thing you know he wasn't there at all.
'What the heck, am I hallucinating?' you grimly thought, rubbing your chest to calm yourself down.
"Goodness, that guy sure acts like a real life yandere. I mean I like them in fanfics but geez, I don't need a yandere in real life" You talked to yourself as you closed you windows and curtains seeing as it was soon to be night.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
You carelessly flung your sheets as you prepare for bed. You had just finished showering and doing your bed time routine but still feel annoyed with your parents lecturing you again about your diet.
"Well maybe I want to die early by consuming sweet foods, the heck they care about it" You grumbled to yourself while closing your lamp. You always feel like enclosing yourself in darkness when you let your irritation washed over you.
It has been sometime probably when your window suddenly slam open.
Sitting up quickly, you watched as two red eyes peer at you before a tall, well build man entered through your window with ease.
You grab the nearest object which is your pillow- fucking useless- to try and defend yourself.
"Who are you?"
"Its me, sweetheart" A soft, velvet-like voice answered.
"Wait, is it you Garrett?" You squinted in the dark before he suddenly lunged at you, pining you to the bed. He nuzzled your neck, inhaling your scent as he sighed blissfully.
Your body stiffened before pushing him off you and rushing to escape from your window.
Looking back as you run away from your house, you find him suddenly behind you, arms wrap around your waist as he run to who knows where. Wind slapped against your face as you felt dizzy and nauseous.
What's with his super speed? Is he a vampire or something?
Before you knew it, you find yourself in a forest. Thick, overhanging trees that sways with the wind coupled with the sliver of the moon slipping in between the spaces made the woods appear daunting and mysterious in your eyes. Its actually breath taking and the kind of scenery that you love but not in this situation.
"I told you before you're mine. I came back to get you" His eyes looked sincere as he softly cup your cheek with one hand.
"Uhmm, you know this is real life right? We're not in some kind of romance book shit bro. Or wait, are you taking any medications right now?"
Working as a nurse back in your home country, you've also studied about different kinds of mental disorders and you worried this guy probably have some serious issues.
Garrett scoffed and looked at you in disbelief before laughing it off.
"Come now, YN, don't be like that to your soulmate. I'm hurt."
Seeing as you don't look convinced, he sighed and stare at you seriously.
"Fine. I'll do this just once because you're special to me. I'll give you a head start for 1 minute. If you reach that specific tree-" He pointed at the pine tree with white marking on its trunk a few distance away from you.
"-if you reach that before I do then I promise I'll let you go but if I catch you first, then you're staying with me."
"Uhm for how long?"
"For eternity, sweetheart" He said, grinning mysteriously.
'Okay fuck that, I'm yeeting it out of here'
Before he can start counting to three, you immediately bolted leaving Garrett staring flabbergasted at his mate who run away without notice. Shaking his head in amusement, he gave her exactly 1 minute before starting the chase.
Running past the leaves and the branches of the trees surrounding you felt like a deja vu. This scene...it happened to you before. Then it hit your self. You had this dream years ago where you were running in a forest and someone was chasing after you. You remember reaching that tree but someone-
"Hey there sweetheart, maybe you should run faster"
Garrett's taunting voice filled your ears and the adrenaline pumping through your veins increased your stamina and speed. If you could just reach that damn tree, its so close!
Extending your hand to touch your goal, your fingertips almost brushed the rough edges of the branch when you felt his hand rest on your shoulder and his cold presence behind you.
Cold shivers ran down your spine as you felt sweat dotted your forehead. Panting heavily, you feel your heart racing in both fear and anxiety.
"You lose, love" He whispered in your ear and you can't help the gasp that came out your lips. Turning slowly, you lifted your gaze to see him with a dark, contented smile on his face.
His pale face and red eyes filled with satisfaction made you asked the question itching on your mind since the first time you met him.
"What are you?"
"I'm a vampire, darling. And I've come for you as I promised."

Our Little Love part eight - OT7 Mafia/Yandere au
Mr Kim has a chapter all to himself of 6.8K words, please enjoy and PLEASE let me know what you think. Trigger warnings: manipulation, coercion, corruption, interrogation, mentions of murder and other crimes, swearing, jealousy, possessive yandere behaviour, fingering, orgasm denial, mirror sex, light choking. I am awful with warnings, please forgive me.
Namjoon wasn’t all that impressed with seeing the Chief of police visiting his cell, the syndicate boss was dressed too well to belong there, it was almost an eyesore. A glance to the camera, the normal red blinking light absent tells him all he needs to know. There were no eyes or ears to this conversation.
“I thought I paid you to keep your men in line,” Namjoon says in lieu of greeting. “Was a bullet to the knee not warning enough for your dear Captain?”
“He wasn’t an issue when I spoke to him, the man was on leave!” the chief replied. “Your girl was the problem he-”
“Be very careful how you finish that sentence,” he advised with a deep angry rumble from his chest. “I am well aware who is at fault here, and regardless of what our little love does, she is never to blame.”
Chief Lee Soo-man only nods once, biting back his complaints.
“I asked you to sort out Kim Suho, I told you to keep him in check,” Namjoon growls. “Keeping your pockets full isn’t an act of charity Lee, it’s a purchase. I own you.”
“Yes sir,” he mumbles in response. “I assure you this arrest is just a formality, the case won’t stand once it’s revealed Detective L/n-”
The glare the man in the blazerless three piece suit gave him was enough to stop him in his tracks. Right, he couldn’t involve you in this, that was going to make things harder than they needed to be.
“What do you recommend then sir?” he asks when he finds his voice and wavering courage.
Namjoon sighs harshly, and the Chief swears he can almost see smoke.
“I want to be alone with my little love,” it’s not a request, the chief didn’t let the soft lilt of his fool him.
“I don’t know how that would be poss-”
“I want-” Namjoon cuts in, unable to bear another second of this blithering idiot, “her to be the one to interrogate me. And I can trust you understand the rest.”
“Y-yessssir,” he stutters, not completely hearing the words between the lines, and that was clear enough on his face.
“I want her alone, Sooman,” Namjoon repeats himself, if this were one of his men he would never have needed to. “I don’t want a single soul witness to what I’m going to do to her.”
—
Suho tugs you along by the arm, stumbling in his urgent pace, pulling you out of ear shot.
“We have a problem.”
“What problem?”
“I’m technically on health leave, brass says I can’t interrogate him,” he stares a hole into you as if his eyes were telling you the rest but you couldn’t understand.
“Okay so who’s replacing you?”
He huffs out a breath of air from his nose, knowing you weren’t going to like the command from way over his head.
Your heart beats hard in anticipation, why was he looking at you like that?
“As far as Brass are aware you were deep undercover,” Suho informs you slowly, deliberately, looking like he was about to tear your world to trash. He sighs, unable to get the words out.
“Suho what?”
“They want you to interrogate him,” he breathes, you think you’ve misheard him, but you know you haven’t.
Your world spins, you’re already shaking your head.
“I can’t,” you whisper, he knows full well that you can’t. “I resigned, I’m not a detective anymore.”
He sighs again, hesitation in his eyes.
“I never processed it,” he confesses.
“Y-you di-”
“I couldn’t, I knew you would see reason, I knew you would come back,” he doesn’t let you process the shock, explaining himself quickly.
“Suho I can’t I can’t,” you beg, the conviction you had to punish them now suddenly taking a back seat as fear overtakes you, “right now they believe I was deep undercover but he’s not going to let that-“
“Listen to me,” he interrupts you before you can fully submerge into a panic attack, taking your hand in his. “I’m going to be in the next room, as soon as he says anything that compromises you, I’ll turn off the cameras, okay?”
“But-“
You’re interrupted again when the door opens, both of you whipping your heads to see him being transferred by four officers to the interrogation room. His eyes find you, staring stoic holes into you before his gaze finds Suho’s hands comforting yours. The snarl of displeasure is brief but you definitely see it, and you can’t breathe.
Suho draws your attention back to him, tugging your hand softly.
“Do you trust me Y/n?” he implores you, eyes searching yours in a way that made Namjoon want to strangle him with the chains on his handcuffs. You look up at your Captain with such light in your eyes, a way you should never look at another man, and then you have the audacity to nod.
—
You’ve done this a hundred times, if not more. So why were you hesitating at the door? Your hand on the handle, all you had to do was turn it and face the music but you couldn’t even manage finding your breath.
Interrogation was a science, it was like riding a bike, you knew what you had to do, you had to command the room. It almost sounded like a joke, the worst one you’d ever heard. Command a room when Kim Namjoon was in it?
The thought makes you hyperventilate. No, it wasn’t going to be easy but you could control what you could. You borrowed clothes from an old colleague, a skirt and blouse, simple but professional. Suho’s old blazer too, as if layers would protect you. You had splashed water on your face in the bathroom, using makeup from evidence to make yourself look presentable, composed. Your impromptu freshening up had meant you left the syndicate leader waiting for a long time, and it absolutely 100% was not because you were trying to kill time, it was to make him stew in the room, a technique you had used multiple times prev- who were you trying to convince?
You needed to get this over with.
Your face is impassive when you finally open the door, his gaze is on you immediately and you can feel a certain type of guilt and shame try to seep its way into you, but you push it down far enough that you can pretend it’s not there.
“Mr Kim Namjoon,” you greet him stoically.
“Detective L/n,” he returns, playing along with a small smile, as if seeing an old acquaintance after a long time. The way he addressed you shouldn’t cut you, logically it made no sense not when you’re the one that got him in the box, but it did.
You approach the table he’s chained to, looking at the wood instead of his eyes as if he didn’t matter, or at least that’s how you wanted it perceived. Avoiding eye contact with the most dangerous man the whole country had ever come to know, meant you missed the way his stare moved to your clothes, particularly your blazer, recognising it was a man’s, and he could confidently guess exactly who it belonged to. Any friendliness on his face disappeared, he wanted to play games and now he just wanted to torture you a little, punish you for you actions. Patience, he tells himself, that would come later.
The file in your hands slaps the table as you throw it down, taking a seat opposite your boyfriend, a man you now convinced yourself you wanted behind bars.
What do they say about a woman scorned? Namjoon thinks to himself, admiring the fire he could see burning underneath your skin, and though he knew he would feel the burn, he would welcome it. It was no secret that he had a fantasy about you interrogating him, he introduced the role play to the bedroom soon after your return to them but it lacked the flames of heat he could feel today.
“Allow me to formally introduce myself,” you reply. “My name is detective Y/n L/n, I’ve been undercover at your… establishment for the past year and a half.”
“Is that right?” he barely suppressed his amusement but it didn’t phase you. Your professional head was on, this was just another criminal you had to put away, that was it.
You open the file, sliding out photos of him that you had sent in as intel in your early days undercover as well as surveillance photos that Suho had taken since you were MIA.
“Do you know who this man is Mr Kim,” you say, sliding the first of the photos to him.
“Can’t say I do detective,” he shrugs nonchalantly, not even glancing away from you.
“Do you want to try looking at his face first before you answer,” you insisted unimpressed.
He smiles, still staring at you.
“I don’t recognise him,” he repeats himself slowly.
“So this isn’t you in the photo?” You ask.
“I don’t know,” his grin only grows.
“This man, Jackson Wang, is dead, and the last person who saw him alive seems to have been you Mr Kim, at least based on the time stamp on this photo and the time of death from the post mortem.”
“Is that right,” he says again, sounding like a broken record. His eyes swim with admiration for you, you can see it though you can’t understand it at all with the current scene. Why wasn’t he fuming, why wasn’t he demanding an answer or explanation?
“Okay let's cut the crap since I know you’re far too clever for that Mr Kim,” you scoff with a roll of your eyes. “I have gathered evidence of your crimes from the last 18 months, and I will stand in court as a witness against you.”
“Are you allowed to do that little love?” he asks, the name has a pang of panic hit you, but you tell yourself you can explain it away to brass.
“The charges you're facing so far are murder, battery, and grand larceny to name a few,” you state ignoring him, flicking through the photos, throwing each one in front of him. “There are many more to follow.”
“I didn’t know partners could testify against each other,” he mused, smirk still strong on his face.
“I’m not your partner,” you object. “I was undercover.”
“No,” he contends, shaking his head like this was just a game to him. “You can’t fake a love like ours, heaven.”
You almost snort as if his point was ridiculous.
“I don’t think I could ever love someone like you Mr Kim,” your stare was ice cold, that finally wipes the smile off his face.
“You’re angry,” he states as if it was new information for you. “I get that little love, but this is a bit too much, don’t you think?”
“I think justice needs to be served, don't you?” you sneered. “People got hurt, some people died, someone needs to pay.”
“You and I both know they deserved it,” he declares as if there wasn’t a camera recording his confession. “You’re just angry because I stepped on a bug.”
Utter rage brewed like a storm in your chest, and you wanted the downpour to drown him.
“You sound like you’re ready to sign the confession Mr Kim,” you don’t break your stare. “That’s great, saves us a lot of time, thank you.”
You close the file, pushing the chair back to stand.
“I’m not done with you,” he growled.
“But I’m done with you.”
“Y/n sit,” he commands calmly, composing himself. “Throwing a fit isn’t going to fix things.”
“Throwing a fit?” The audacity of this man, you stand there in shock.
“Let’s talk it through,” he says to you as if you were being hysterical.
“Fuck you,” you spit.
“Talk to me Y/n,” he scolded you like you were a child. “Without this bullshit.”
“Fine! You wanna talk about it Namjoon,” you snapped, taking the seat again, throwing the file haphazardly on the desk. “Let’s talk about it.”
The glare you present him with doesn’t make him flinch, it doesn’t phase him. You hope Suho had enough sense to turn the cameras off by now, this would go nowhere.
“You manipulated me, you lied to me, you made me play the fool.”
He didn’t react, not a single muscle on his face moved and it fanned whatever flame explode inside of you like a bomb. This was his true colours underneath the mask of love and adoration he created for you.
“You don’t have to pretend anymore Namjoon I can see right through you,” you state. “And you are never touching me again.”
That made him look at you, really look at you, something shifted in his gaze, a slight smirk as if he was mocking you.
You could cry kick and scream about the injustice he put you through in the name of this fucked up love and he wouldn’t flinch. He would sit there and watch and then the fucker would have the audacity to laugh afterwards. He must’ve laughed at how stupid you were in trusting him when he lied.
“At least if you go to prison, I’ll finally be free,” you whisper like it’s a life line.
He’s still unmoved, sitting there as if you were invisible and it irked the fuck out of you. He was the one who wanted to talk, why the fuck was he silent now?
You wanted him to hurt you wanted him to feel an ounce of what you did in the light of his betrayal. He tore your heart out and you weren’t going to forgive him.
“I must’ve looked so pathetic,” you say in a self deprecating tone, looking at the ceiling as if someone could answer you. “Suho was right.”
That comment makes his blood boil hard enough to show on his face. There it was, the reaction you were waiting for and you took the bait without thinking about what you were trying to catch or what you were trapped with.
“I should’ve trusted him, he’s always had my back and my best interest at heart.”
His jaw clenches, a fist squeezing nothing but air although he probably wished it was the captain's neck.
“Kai and Suho are all I have left,” you goad him, unsure of what exactly it was that you wanted to prove. “And finally I’m back where I belong.”
“If you don’t want a bullet in each of their heads, you need to stop talking love,” he grunts through gritted teeth.
Something inside of you felt vindicated and you realise then what you wanted from him, proof he fucking cared, that you weren’t some pawn or prize in this game of crime. You wanted him to soothe the very cuts he caused, or rip your heart out hard enough that you could bleed him out of your system forever.
“Oh please Namjoon, just admit why you kept me around for so long,” you scoff. “I can only imagine how it felt to have the lead detective on your case in the palm of your hands, like a trophy, a big fuck you to the justice system.”
You laugh sounding a little maniacal.
“You had me, and I fell for all of it.”
“You’re forgetting I didn’t know your true origins at first little love,” his low voice is a warning, he looks at you like he needed to remind you who you belonged to.
“And you’re forgetting I know you,” you bite back. “Any hint of betrayal and you pull the trigger first and ask questions later.”
He stares at you, grimacing.
“And yet here I am, alive.”
“Because I love you,” he says it so casually it throws you off, like it was a fundamental part of his being, like breathing.
“Because you saw an opportunity,” you rationalise.
“Because I could never lose you,” he confesses. “You could rip out my heart, little love and I would still want you, why else would I be here?”
You frown, what did he mean? He was here because you paid an eye for an eye, you betrayed him.
“What’s done is done,” you say as if you were unconcerned. “I will testify against you.”
He leans closer across the table, words for your ears only.
“Do you think you’ll be able to handle seeing Jungkook in prison, love?” Namjoon whispers. “Knowing you put him there? It would kill you.”
The pain his words brought forth only proved them to be true. You did have a soft spot for the youngest, always had. You break eye contact first, looking down at the file and turning back and forth a page as if in contemplation but really to cool your nerves.
Were you really doing this? Sending Yoongi, Jin, Hoseok, Jimin, Tae and Kookie to jail because of an angry outburst? Now your emotions had time to settle after the bomb that exploded when you saw Suho; you weren’t so sure.
“I never thought you could betray us like this,” he says solemnly, continuing to manipulate your guilt, but he forgot about your fire. He could almost see the coals ignite in your eyes, a misstep on his part, one he realised when a snarl forms on your lips.
“You. Lied.” You state ferociously. “I asked you if you hurt him and you lied to me.”
“So you decided to have us all arrested,” he continues, “for a man you stated you didn’t care about like that.”
“Don’t you fucking dare,” you seethe, unable to sit with him any longer, pacing the room before you raised a finger to his face. “You played me like a fool Namjoon, and I refuse to play the part anymore.”
“I wanted him dead, little love,” he states in a low voice through gritted teeth. “Do you understand what a mercy-”
“I asked you not to hurt him!”
“Then you underestimated our wrath!” he retorted. “I couldn’t let him go in one piece, and you didn’t need to know.”
“No. You underestimated MY wrath Kim Namjoon!” You burst, slamming the desk with your hand, the sting burning, your face heating more and more with rage as it concealed your heartache. “I am not some docile doll for you to play with, and manipulate and LIE TO! You took my love for granted when it was a damn fucking privilege.”
Your chest heaves with each breath, he stayed composed while you looked like a wild animal finally let out of her cage.
“You think this obsession is love,” your voice broke at the last word, the floods of heartbreak dampening the fires. “And I did too, but it’s fucked up everything.”
His silence was eating you alive, his face giving nothing of his heart away while yours laid bare out between you.
“You know what I’m done,” you breathe, “have fun rotting in jail Namjoon.”
Tears drop out of the corner of your eyes as you walk away, his piercing gaze doing nothing to deter you. He might’ve had power over you once but that was before he betrayed you. You reach for the door handle, tugging, ready to leave him behind until his trial, but the door doesn’t budge. You still, mind blank for a second before panic overwhelms you. You try again with all your might, pulling as hard as you can over and over before releasing your grip with a harsh breath. You take a gulp, calming yourself, he planned this.
You’re not surprised when you hear the sound of the handcuffs undo or the chains hit the floor. Fucking bastard. An alarm started blaring in the building, loud and overwhelming, but it came too late. Red lights flash, the room glowing as if warning you about the oncoming danger.
“Are we done with your outburst little love,” he says coldly, like your grievances were nothing more than a tantrum.
You turn to face him slowly, more tears dropping without a sound, shaking your head at the way his words cut you down to nothing.
When he stands from the seat your heart gallops with fear and panic. Although it’s helpless you turn back to the door, trying with all your might to open it and escape him. The fire alarm blaring does nothing to ease you, you hang onto the door as you feel him approach, tears falling out of your eyes without control.
Fuck, you were stuck here with the man you sent to jail, you were left to his mercy. His presence looms over you, you can feel him a hair's width behind you, not touching you, not really, but he’s so close it’s overwhelming.
It’s when you feel his breath you freeze, your body shutting down with dread. He presses his cheek to your hair, inhaling you softly. The action makes you jolt away, turning to the side but he grabs your wrist tightly. You don’t look at him, you stare into the two way mirror, your cheeks pathetically wet. You were supposed to hold the power in this room, but you could feel it dwindle away to nothing but smoke.
You’re slammed against the door hard, a whimper escaping your lips as your eyes scrunched in pain. You miss the flash of guilt in his eyes, realising he pushed you too hard. An apology on his lips but the glare when your eyes open stops him. He’s seen anger in your eyes before, hate even, for he knew love didn’t come without it. But fear? Never of him, not even in the days when you were undercover and your life was one unveiled secret away from ending.
“Get away from me,” you seethe, meaning every word, even when you saw the hurt in his eyes.
Regret, Kim Namjoon never knew the feeling before, but he knew he never wanted you to look at him the way you were. He needed to keep his calm, one wrong push and you would tear him out of your own heart.
Your eyes fly all over the room, trying to piece together a way to gain some distance. Suho… maybe he was still behind the glass. You tug your wrist as hard as you can, taking steps away from him but his hold is relentless. The blare of the alarm stops ringing but the flashing red lights remain, staining the walls like blood pumping.
“Little lo-“ he starts to say with a sigh, he was being patient but there was only so much time left.
“Suho?” You call desperately trying to look through the glass. You know you’ve made a mistake before you even said his name but fear drives people to do stupid things without thinking.
The most notorious criminal in all of Seoul pulls you back against his chest hard. An arm wraps around your waist, the unforgiving grip on your wrist turning lethal. He rests his chin on your shoulder, staring at you through the mirror. The hairs on your skin stood on end at the frightening change in his eyes, danger rolled off of him and you had no choice but to take every wave.
“Do you think he’s there, love?” The corner of his lip lifts in a smirk that makes you think of a snake, the saccharine tone of his voice hypnotising. “Do you think he’s watching us?”
The palm on your hip moves down to your thigh, he squeezes the flesh. You could feel your heart jumping in your throat.
“Should we give him something to watch?” He murmurs seductively, turning his head to bring his lips so close to your neck. The bruising clutch on your wrist is gone only to find its way to your hair, yanking it back to give himself better access.
Your eyes in the mirror are begging but the inner turmoil from his touch is making you question what exactly you’re asking for. Reason tells you it’s for Suho to save you, to grant you escape, but the way you feel a familiar heat swim to your core has you doubting yourself.
“If he was in there,” he whispers, his lips now on your ear, “don’t you think he’d come in here and try to take you from me, love?”
He chuckles to himself, a joke only he can understand.
“Fuck I’d love to see him try.”
His groan has you aching, your body relapsing to what it knows, anticipating the pleasure and pain only they could provide.
“I’m not mad at you for having us arrested, heaven,” he whispers in your ear, gaze softening for a second in the mirror lulling you into a sense of security you couldn’t tell if it was a trap. “In fact I’m a little in awe, a little proud.”
The smirk he gives you seems genuine.
“We deserved it I know,” reassurance fills his voice, he wants you to hear his sincerity. “What I’m mad about, little love…”
The softness is gone, eyes turn piercing, the proverbial snake about to strike.
“Is the fact you let another man touch what’s mine.”
The guttural rumble of his possessive claim sent waves of need down to your cunt, you could feel it pulsing.
“I’m mine,” you return meekly, trying to find your resolve, but it sounded like a whine.
“Make no mistake Y/n, you’re always going to be mine.”
You didn’t have it in you to argue, not when he sent your eyes rolling back and a shiver down your spine. Fuck he hadn’t even touched you yet, maybe it was true, maybe a part of you would always belong to them, but that didn’t mean all if you did.
“Look at me,” he commands, his breath hitting your neck.
Your blown out eyes meet him in the mirror, that predatory but protective gaze piercing through you. He hums in approval the deep vibration fucking with your senses, making you hazy.
You both hold eye contact even when you can see the fingers on your thigh stroke soothing circles up your skin. Your lips part with a harsh breath when they rub your mound through the fabric of your panties, the touch light and testing and not nearly enough.
“You’re fucking soaking wet baby,” he calls you out with a grin.
You grab his wrist when his fingers cup your heat, his thumb soothing circles on your clit. You press against him, the warmth of his chest enveloping your back. You both fit so well together, you were forgetting why exactly you were so angry at him, but simmers of it still remained even through his touch.
“You know,” he says, opening your leg with his knee to give him more access, “a lot of couples fuck through their problems, should we try?”
He hides his grin, burying his head in you but you can feel it against your skin, the arrogant asshole.
“You can go and fuck yourself,” you sassed back, lying to yourself that you could be fine if he stopped now, that it wouldn’t leave you a needy mess.
“But I’d rather fuck you,” he chuckles, breathing you in, savouring the moment while his fingers slide the fabric aside.
You choke back a moan at the contact of his skin right where you wanted him, the way he spread your wetness until every inch of you was covered in it.
“You can pretend to regret our relationship all you want, but this,” he emphasises his point by slapping your cunt hard, making you gasp, “still wants me.”
“It wants to get fucked,” you spitefully remark through gritted teeth, “doesn’t have to be you.”
That makes him pause, and you have to bite back the words of displeasure.
“You’ll pay for that next time love,” he murmurs dangerously.
“There won’t be a next time,” you try to ridicule him through a laugh but his fingers circle your entrance.
“You’re lying,” he hums, “next time, I think we should tie you down, make you watch other women touch us in ways only you’re allowed to.”
You bury the fury that ruptures at the image, clenching your jaw to keep from swearing at him and proving the point he was trying to make.
“Maybe then you’d have a semblance of understanding of what you did- the torture you put us through.”
“I wouldn’t care,” you breathe, squirming against his fingers, he needed to shut up and move.
“Liar,” he chuckles knowingly, seeing right through you. Before you, there were many females in his organisation, until his little love demanded he get rid of them all. The memory stretches his grin wider.
“Why the fuck was it me?” You whisper, your eyes starting to water at the vulnerability of your tone, remembering the same moment he was. “When I went undercover there were so many beautiful women-“
“They’re not you, little love, don’t for a second compare yourself to them,” he kisses your temple softly in reassurance. His face is in your hair, his hand on your throat as you preen to his touch. “You were sweet and addicting with a fire you were trying so desperately to contain.”
He thrusts two fingers in gently, watching your face contort in want in the mirror, smiling at the way your eyes rolled back. You whimper when he squeezes his grip on your neck.
“To think that passion we saw in your eyes was hatred at first,” he smiles as if amused, watching every little reaction you gave him, every proof of love.
“I did,” you confess, pressing your ass against his hard length and making him groan, “I hated you.”
“You were sent to destroy us, love, but instead you reached into our souls and thought there was something worth saving,” he chuckled, nuzzling into you softly as if he wasn’t knuckle deep inside of you, feeling every part he knew so well. “And save us you did, it was so dark before you our little light, how could we ever let you leave?”
“You’re fucking with my head,” you whimper, head falling back to his chest, it rumbles when he laughs.
“Hmmm? I’m definitely fucking your brains out today Y/n,” he promises with a chuckle, kissing your temple again, but emphasising his point when he scissors his fingers reading you for his cock. “If that’s what you mean.”
This was your fault, you knew what you were getting into when you fell for them. You especially knew Namjoon was the worst of them all. You let his soft side brush away his true nature, and while you never forgot his ruthless persona, you put it to the back of your mind. You foolishly thought you had tamed his cunning cold cruel-
“Oh fuck,” whatever train of thought you had died, the palm of his hand rubbing your clit, stimulating your already aching cunt to the edge. Your parted lips open wider to release a silent scream, his fingers stroking so deep.
You were so close, you could taste it, unable to control the delirious sounds escaping you. So when he stops and slips his fingers away from you, you have to stop yourself screaming in protest.
“Up against the mirror Y/n,” he commands gruffly, but you don’t move, you were so fucking close. Fuck him, fucking asshole, you were so fucking close.
He picks you up with ease, pushing you against the wall so your breath fogs the surface. You hear the zip pull down, your forehead falls forward, your core pulsing in anticipation. He grabs your leg, opening you for him, the head of his cock sliding across your folds until you're whining.
“Stop squirming love,” he warns, but you don’t listen, of course you don’t, so he makes you listen.
The sound you release when he slaps your clit with his hard dick over and over has him questioning his restraint, fuck he wants to just pound into you but you needed to be taught a fucking lesson.
“Joonie sensitive,” you whine, but he’s relentless, making you cry out over and over. Fuck you could actually maybe cum like this.
His self control wavers, his jaw clenched with such a force he thinks it’ll shatter. He couldn’t take it anymore, the swell of his head finds your entrance. Inch by inch, he relishes the feeling of your walls hugging him so fucking tight, the pulse of them pulling him in. He leans over you, trying to regain composure but you feel so good he doesn’t want to move, he wants to stay like this forever, inside of you where he belongs.
You try to push back into him, but he grabs your waist with one hand to keep you still, grinding his hips against you and he knows it’s not enough.
“Look at you arching your back little love,” he smirks, “Your body knows where you belong, it’s a shame you tried to take it away from me.”
Your hands ball into fists on the mirror, you can’t even look at yourself right now, you can’t stop writhing on the surface, trying so hard to get him to move. You squeeze him hard, making his head fall against you with a grunt.
“Behave little love,” he warns, “or I’ll show your colleagues just how well you can take me.”
“Make me,” you dare him even though it comes out as a mumble.
You were dizzy and disorientated and all you wanted was for him to fucking move. He pushes you against the wall hard, every inch of him covering you so you couldn’t budge. You whine, the cold of the hard surface making you seek his warm body, you slot against him like a damn puzzle piece. He was hell bent on torturing you today, as if you hadn’t suffered enough.
“Joonie move,” you almost sound like a brat, trying to order him around.
“I’ll move when I’m ready,” he growls animalistically, barely holding himself back, but he needed to savour this.
You do everything you can to break his control, writhing against him like a bitch in heat. He swallows hard when you clench again. He spanks your ass hard in return, the air gets thicker, you find it harder to breathe. You keep still, the sting of your ass satisfying your craving for a moment, but not for long.
He picks up your skirt, watching himself inside you, watching the beautiful mess you were making. So wet, so perfect, how did you ever think for a second he would ever let this go? The sight is too much, he releases a restrained groan, done with holding himself back.
His hand grips your cheeks, turning your mouth to his, forcing his tongue down your throat as he finally pulls out only to push back in impossibly deeper. You took every punishing thrust, his presence surrounding you everywhere, even in front of you where his reflection painted the surface. He smothered you with his existence, the heat of him scolding, but you liked it, you craved it.
“Do you think your ‘friend’ understands who you fucking belong to now detective L/n?” He chuckles deeply watching your fucked out face in the mirror.
He uses his grip under your knee to turn you towards the camera in the corner of the room.
“Think they can all see little love?” He pants. “How well you fucking take it? How good you are for me?”
You shake your head in protest but it feels too good. Your head falls back on him without the mirror to lean against. His fingers find your clit, his sole purpose to make you lose yourself to him.
“Fuck look at you shaking baby,” he groans, feeling you pulse around him, drawing closer to the edge. “Your poor pussy just needs to come huh?”
You can hear the smirk in his tone, fucking self satisfied prick.
“Not as badly as you need it,” you taunt back, feeling your defiance flare despite how your body was begging you to behave..
“Fuck you might be right,” he groans, going harder, faster. “I’m always going to need it.”
His confession takes you over, the words pushing you so hard you come apart violently, thrashing against him as you unravel, but he holds you tight. He doesn’t let you fall. You couldn’t breathe, you couldn’t think, all you could feel was him and the burst of pleasure that carried on wave after wave, and you never wanted it to stop.
“This is mine,” he grunts as he comes undone inside of you, fucking his cum deeper until it got through to your soul.
He was a part of you, and you could try to deny it now with his mistakes on the table, but he was so embedded in the fabric of you he couldn’t see where he began and where you ended. His entire existence was for you, it was only fair your cunt, body and soul belonged to him. Maybe the others too, as an afterthought, but you were his first.
He feels the mess slide out of you as he leaves your warmth, turning you softly so you could lean against him as you catch your breath. He holds you tight, arn arm around your middle like the steel of a bar. He has every intention of letting you recover but the way you look up at him with those glossy eyes confirms the fact he will never be satiated, he will always want more of you even if there was nothing left to give.
“Our little love,” he breathes in your face, stealing a hard kiss, “our little downfall.”
His mouth held you prisoner again and again, humming pleasantly as you let him devour you in so many ways. His kiss was bruising, hungry, overindulging.
Your eyes search his as he parts reluctantly, your mind still hazy, the bliss of sex still circulating your body.
“Why did you lie to me?” You whisper breathlessly against his lips as you come down, and he can hear the vulnerability in your tone, it makes a guilt spread across his chest that feels almost alien. The way you could make him ache like no one else, he should cast you aside for introducing a weakness in him but he wouldn’t even dream of it.
“I didn’t want to lose you,” he confesses sincerely. “I didn’t want you to hate me.”
“I asked you not to hurt him,” your eyes tear up again, and he curses himself and the existence of Kim Suho.
“I know.”
“But you did it anyway,” you continue, “and then you had the gall to lie to my face.”
You wipe away the tears that fall harshly, your mind clearing. You push him away and fix yourself up, knowing from the glances in the mirror you were a mess.
“You always own up to your actions, right or wrong, you never hide them,” you laugh and you think you must sound psychotic. “The Kim Namjoon… I remember the days you would drop dead bodies in front of me without remorse, without ever feeling the need to explain yourself.”
“I was testing you then,” he grunts, remembering those days well. “I needed to know you had the stomach to be with us.”
“I hated you so much,” you confess, swallowing down a sob. “And for the first time since I fell in love with you Joonie, I can feel that hate grow again.”
His jaw clenches, his fist too. He could feel a threat on the tip of his lips, one where the Captain's head would end up on a plate in front of you for dinner but he holds himself back.
“You don’t mean that,” he says between gritted teeth.
“I had you fucking arrested Namjoon,” you argue back fiercely. “Don't tell me what I mean or don’t mean.”
“You also fucked me after the fact,” he states and the harsh words slap you hard. You did. You let him defile you here only moments ago.
“Old habits die hard.”
“Not with me love,” he dismisses the thought. “Not as long as I’m alive.”
“We’ll see,” you challenge, feeling that earlier conviction rise.
“Understand something Y/n,” he says seriously, his face solemn and hard in a way you had witnessed rarely. This was Kim Namjoon with something to lose. “You can run, you can fight, you can hate me if you need to, but there isn’t a life worth living for us without you in it.”
He takes his seat back in the interrogation chair, putting his handcuffs back on with ease, all while keeping his eye contact with you.
“You want me here, you want to punish me,” he continues, “fine, this where I’ll stay until you’re appeased, until you forgive me.”
“I won’t,” you deny, shaking your head.
“You will.”

How do you think a Yandere Thranduil would react to his lover walking around in his robes but nothing else?
Disclaimer: I'm totally and utterly confused when it comes to Deres. Please bear with me.
As for your ask:
Warnings: Yandere Thranduil | Manipulation/Obsessive/Controlling behavior | NSFW | Minors DNI
He cannot get enough of it. He has fantasized about seeing his lover in his robes and nothing but his robes. When he sees them walking out wearing his silks, he obsessively follows their every move, convincing them to stay in those robes for as long as he desires. He will use flattery and sweet talk to influence his lover to remain like that.
Of course, no one else can see his lover like this. He will keep his S/O in their chambers and lock the doors to make sure no one can see them in his robes. If they think he is being overprotective or going too far, then he will convince them that his way is the best. They are his, such a sight should only be for his eyes and his eyes. Again flattery and sweet talk are used on his lover.
When they change and leave his robes behind, he will take those robes and inhale his lover's scent, conjuring all sorts of intimate scenarios and sexual fantasies, and how to convince them to agree. Sometimes he might rut against said robes while fantasizing about his lover and what he plans on doing with them when they return.

Hybrid!yandere ateez jealous because they smell another hybrid on you 👉👈👀please.
Sorry that it’s been over a year 💀 I was gonna make this into a series but I’m just gonna try and upload a few more things before I consider going inactive
dragon!hybrid!seonghwa x bunny!y/n
cw: jealousy, marking, mentions of another idol (nct’s jeno)
𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐄 + 𝐍𝐒𝐅𝐖 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓 ♡ -𝟏𝟔’𝐬 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐒 𝐃𝐍𝐈
he was in pure disbelief at first
as one of the senior members of the hybrid community in your area, he had quite a few affiliations within it and recognised most hybrid’s scents
which was why he was so shocked to smell the notorious Lee Jeno all over his cute little bunny
Jeno was known far and wide for his promiscuity, leaving many hybrids of all types feeling empty and broken-hearted after he became bored
all that aside, it felt wrong on so many levels for a wolf to be preying on his sweet little bunny, especially with Jeno’s natural disposition to hunt you
so his gaze turned cold when you fidgeted uncomfortably, knowing Seonghwa could smell Jeno on you
Seonghwa’s fury began to kick in as your embarrassment made your head hang low, body shaking under his glowering. pacing to you, Seonghwa picked you up and took you to the bathroom, the action commanding, yet he still made sure to be careful with you. you shook in Seonghwa’s arms, holding on and whispering to him quietly, barely audible.
‘I told him no. He… he sniffed me quite a bit but he didn’t do anything.’
Seonghwa didn’t even look at you as he replied, jaw gritted yet tone of voice surprisingly calm.
‘If he did anything to you, he wouldn’t be around to gloat about it for long.’
the expression on Seonghwa’s face told you his words were no joke
he spent the next few hours painstakingly cleaning you over and over, Jeno’s scent gone but the feeling lingering in Seonghwa’s nostrils like a curse
Seonghwa nearly rubbed your skin raw to be rid of Lee fucking Jeno, only stopping when you whimpered quietly, ears drooping as you shook in the now-cold bath water
‘H-hwa… hurts-s.’
sighing, Seonghwa pressed an apologetic kiss to your forehead before letting his fingers scratch behind your ears in your favourite spot. that precious smile he’d withheld all day broke free from his mask of neutral displeasure, much to your delight. your ears perked up in response, melting under his touch as he hummed quietly before speaking.
‘you’d never leave me, right bun?’
eagerly nodding, you beamed up at him before extending your pinky to him.
‘promise!’
he interlocked his finger with yours, pressing your thumbs together as you beamed up at him. Seonghwa looked you over one more time before grabbing a towel and wrapping it around you, helping you get out the bath soon after. shivering in the cold, you happily jumped into Seonghwa’s arms when he opened them, resting your head on his chest and feeling his strong heartbeat as he murmured quietly to you.
‘maybe you should… take some time off from the cafe.’
when he saw your confused expression, Seonghwa elaborated.
‘if Jeno comes to you while you’re working, you’ll basically be stuck there. He might be more… brazen than sniffing.’
your eyes widened at this, fear grasping them just as Seonghwa had expected. you were easy to manipulate, he just had to make Jeno into the big bad wolf and himself into the protector.
‘you’re right, Hwa… I-.. It’s for the best.’
Seonghwa gave you an approving smile and rewarded you with a scratch behind your ears, watching dotingly as you snuggled into his chest with a warm smile.
‘my poor little bunny… I’ll keep you safe, hm?’
giving him a small kiss to his cheek, you gazed at him with stars in your eyes, totally smitten.
‘thank you, Seonghwa. Thank you for keeping me safe.’
Seonghwa reciprocated with a short but sweet kiss to your lips, his gaze holding the same if not stronger intensity.
‘I’ll always keep you safe bun, I’ll keep you safe till my very last breath. I won’t let anything happen to you.’

.. suicidal .. pairing. lee felix x female reader genre. angst, fluff pov. second person (you, yours, yourself, etc.) synopsis. felix wants to protect you from the dangers of the world, and the dangers of yourself. wc. 0.4k cw. yandere!felix, suicidal!reader tw. mentions suicidal thoughts, multiple suicide attempts, mentions death, possessiveness
He was the one who saved you every single time you’d attempt to take your own life, becoming fed up with the sickening world around you. He was the one who shoved his fingers down your throat as he held you in the bathtub, warm water soaking both of your clothes, helping you throw up all the pills you had swallowed with a simple glass of water. He was the one who brought the chair back under your feet after you kicked it away with a rope choked around your neck. He was the one who grabbed you off the balcony, pulling you to the safe side of the railing so you wouldn’t topple over the edge and fall down into fast-paced traffic. He was the one who emptied the gun he found in your nightstand of the bullets inside it so when you placed it against your head the following night, it simply blew out a gust of air.
He saved you every time you thought leaving this hellhole of an earth was an option, every time you thought leaving him was an option.
I mean, that’s why you wanted to do it, right? Because you wanted to leave him? Because you didn’t want to exist in the same life as him? It was betrayal, that’s all that was.
Sadly, though, he couldn’t convince you to knock your shenanigans off, and wound up with you locked in his guest bedroom, attempting to convince you he simply needed to protect you from yourself. The bedroom had nothing in that you could hurt yourself on, everything was baby-proofed, afraid you’d hurt yourself on the smallest thing.
“It’s for the greater good,” he frowned, gently petting your hair as you struggled under this palm, “You’re too dangerous to be left alone anymore.”
He could see it in your eyes, this was the moment you’d hold a knife up to your own throat and end it all, finally. But you couldn’t now, there were no more options for you to hurt yourself with. You would be safe now, under his watch you would be safe forever.
He ran his fingers through your strands of hair as you glanced up at him with pleading eyes, begging him just to let you go. He never would, but you weren’t wrong to try. He needed you to be protected from the dangers of the world, from the dangers of yourself, and being here with him, locked away in a spare bedroom in his house under his constant eye and protection, this was the only option he had to make sure you stayed with him forever, stayed alongside him for the rest of your shared lives. You weren’t going unless he went, and vice versa. You were his one and only, you would be made well aware of that now that he’s the only person you’ll ever be seeing from then on.

| EPISODE 10: CARNIVAL |
The gut wrenching text in your glowing screen never ceases to mock you with each and every word.
[9:05PM] Hee01: sweet kitten, let’s start the game, shall we? Now, now, who do you think is the traitor sweetheart? :)
It fucking hurts that you wanna rip your head apart.
And when you think you've done enough crying and screaming to the top of your lungs—that your tears have gone dried and your voice had disappear into nothing—another one escapes before you can stop it.
As pathetic as you think it can be, you couldn't stop.
Your teeth gritted to its deepest core despite the possibility of it cracking, you didn't mind as your arms were shivering in a menacing pace as you had this another utter disbelief spiralling inside you.
How funny and pathetic you could be to stay fool like this, not aware of who the fuck had betrayed you.
[9:07PM] Hee01: still thinking?
Another piece of you were uttering a horrendous amount of questions in your head — questions that had no answers, going on and on like a broken radio.
Or perhaps, you were the one broken right now.
Broken like your trust.
Betrayal, betrayal.
Who could've possibly betrayed you?
It couldn't be your best friend who you've grown up with and have grown to care and trust — Chaeryeong?. .
But it can't be her! It can't be! I refused to believe this bullshit! There it was again — the same words that you utter and screamed a dozen times in your mind, convincing yourself that this is another game, another manipulation of that bastard.
Because you just couldn't believe that this might be the case.
Raging steps of the officers scattered all over the place which pushes the crowd out of their way to form a free path — those people had their arms caging that of EJ's helpless form, dragging him away from the scene.
Your eyes falling on EJ's pathetic form being dragged away brought you a sudden epiphany.
A shock wave of cold riled up across your entire body.
Jungwon! Where is he? Your eyes searched for the said boy but not even an inch of his presence was nowhere to be found — not even amongst the crowd nor on the stage itself. The boy was never present from the beginning of the festival.
Gritting your teeth in this immense pressure, you couldn't bear to get it wrong.
Your eyes fought it's best to blink away its tears but you couldn't fathom the possibility of how he, too, could be the one who betrayed you and EJ.
Possibilities, possibilities. What could be his reason to betray you? To do such an atrocity?
He was the one who brought the tape to you and EJ, if it was him then why would he even go through all that trouble in the first place?
For what? To fool you? It doesn't make sense.
Not even Chaeryeong herself could've possibly had a reason to turn her back against you.
Nothing, there was nothing! What if?! — Your eyes shoot up searching for him, what if this just another game of his to break you apart? It could be!
Your mind ran like a horde of horses racing through the sea of blood, searching for the corpses reeking in the mud. It smells musty, sinister and awful.
But no matter how you searched through it, the deepest depths contain nothing but an empty void.
You couldn't find a single thing of what one of them could have done to betray you.
Were you really dumb? Or were they too good?
Or have you just really thrown away your trust as if it was a dust within your fingertips?
You snap out of your daze as the crowds begin to dissipate—on and off they go to whatever they planned or wished to.
Out of blue you felt this ominous stare digging on your back.
Glancing over your shoulder to look up to the said group you've been wishing for their demise, yet there's no one but one boy who stood still behind the curtains covering the stage.
You gasped unable to fathom the expression of the brown haired boy—it caught you off guard but you didn’t let his dark gaze controlled you.
Next time, next time. You chanted in your mind, eyes darting from him to the entire place—letting out an exasperated sigh before rushing out of the venue.
A gigantic sea of neon lights along with cold breeze hitting your face as soon as you did so, sprinting to the pathway where crowds begun to leave and there your eyes fell on those who you were trying to chase for— screaming at them to stop at once.
"No! No—" you panted as you pry off their arms from the boy, "P-please he didn't do anything! What fucking proof do you have to arrest him like this?!"
They didn't respond rather throwing you daggers and glares through their dark gaze, red bluish lights illuminating the sharp edges of their face and silhouette.
They were firm, huge and strong — and they didn't seem to care even a tad bit of what you were saying which made you grew desperate.
Yet you tried pathetically once more, begging for them to let go of EJ who has by now given up, teary red eyes and gritted teeth. "Who did this, (Name)?!"
"I don't know! I really don't know!" You whimper, holding on to his leather jacket.
"EJ, please don't do anything! Just don't! They could hurt you or anything so please don't do anything!"
"What else do you expect me to do?!"
"Just listen to me please! I promise I'll get this over with as soon as I can, just— just don't do anything!"
It was obvious that EJ, too, were breaking down in this huge dilemma where he and you are unaware of who could've been the culprit.
This was never the plan! Both of you screamed into the deepest void in your minds.
You whipped your head at the remaining officer who had just finished from interrogating the crowds, "Please it's not him!"
The officer looks at you with confusion written all over his face but soon understands.
"There has been a witness proof, kid."
"Who? Who was it?!" your eyes widened in mild shock, desperate to know who it was.
"We can't say who. But consider laying back, you might be an accomplice as well with your attitude right now, kid." He patted your back before walking past you and there you could only watch EJ's form drooping in utter disbelief.
You knew that you and him had the same question running inside your minds ever since then.
Yet you can't let this pass and so you tugged at the officer's jacket, preventing him from leaving in which he turned to you with his dark eye bags that showed his restless and overworked days.
"Then help me please! My family, someone had kidnapped them!"
His eyebrows creased in annoyance, uttering words so fast you couldn't catch up but he eventually extended his hand asking you about proof and so you hurriedly turned on your phone, the bright screen illuminating the edges of your face.
However, someone behind you grabbed your phone and it made you fumed with anger when you snapped your head around to see the person in question — Taehyun, with a bubblegum sticking in his cheek.
"Hm?" The officer raised his eyebrows at the boy's attitude.
The brown haired boy with a smug grin splattered on his face as the flickering lights from the officer's car from behind you formed a hideous reflection on him that you were unable to fathom but this growing menace aura surrounding him had you frozen.
"Give me back my phone!" you reached out for your phone in his tight grasp but he dodged you so quick that you nearly stumbled to the ground.
“Please don’t mind her, Sir. She got some screw loose in her head after getting a few shots for the day." He suddenly pulled you into his tight embrace much to your protests, "Good job for today though! Didn’t had a single thought that this dearest friend of mine could ever think of to do such a hideous thing, how unfortunate.”
"Fucking liar! Do I look drunk to you?— Give me back my phone!"
"Are you sure bout that? She doesn't look even the slightest drunk—"
"She might not look like it but her boyfriend's are telling us to look after her so no worries!"
"N-no he's lying! Don't believe him!" You keep struggling in his arms and this somehow alerted the worn off officer.
"Kid, get your hands off her."
EJ slowly raised his eyes only to see the commotion outside the car window in which he hissed inside the car, squirming against the metal cuffs over his wrists and pathetic attempts to get off from the car.
Taehyun lets out an irritated sigh, leaning down to your ears whispering something so low only you could hear it, "C'mon now, (Name). Heeseung's waiting, you wouldn't want him to wait that long, aren't you?"
You froze.
Leaning backwards he did as he increased his voice in a normal volume.
You didn't move an inch in Taehyun's cage-like embrace till the officer wasn't taking this anymore as he nonchalantly told you to go off and not waste his time before leaving.
You could only watch as the car drove away and the window had EJ in a panic manner as he shouted for you inside.
Clenching your fists in pure agony is what you did as you threw a glare so deep in hatred at the taller boy.
“Give me back my phone! Bitch!”
“Ah, ah, chill.”
“I don’t know what you’re saying, you should've sharpened the edges of your damn brain first before acting with your pretty little useless plans.” Taehyun mumbled and then lowered his gaze at you.
“Give it back, you son of a bitch! I can’t believe you, he’s your friend and you’re doing this to him?!”
Taehyun’s eyebrow furrowed in amusement, “Friend? Last time I checked a friend doesn’t betray their own friend, unlike yours.”
“Wh-what are you talking about? What did you do!” You pulled his collar, forcing his back to bend to level your height.
“What did I do? I don’t know, you tell me.”
“I’m not in the mood of your games! I knew what you did, what you and all your shitty friends did! How could you? What kind of human are you? I guess, no. You’re not a human or even a fucking sane being. You’re a fucking monster who are all desperate for money!”
Taehyun’s eyes seem to darken at your words in a split moment but it soon dissipates and one more giggle emits in the air.
“So you knew, pfft. Obviously,” He paused, then his lips tugged up in a sinister way, “You speak as if you could live without money, though. I thought you were kleptomaniac, could you be a liar too?"
“Is that all you fucking got to say about me? Bitch, that doesn't work on me anymore."
"You know, I have no idea what Heeseung finds interesting in you that he had to go through all that trouble. But I guess, I can see now."
"Wha—"
"You are just like us, you just don't see it."
"The fuck you saying? You and I are not the same. I'm not like you who are selfish enough to use someone's body just so I can get money!”
Taehyun grins, "Are you sure bout that? You're just as messed up as we are, because if you weren't, then you wouldn't have known Heeseung nor end up in this shitty situation."
You froze.
"Because if you've never knew him, then Heeseung wouldn't have been the maniac he is right now if it wasn't because of you. You just don't understand do you?"
He leans forward, exaggerating each word. "It's all because of you."
"But gotta thank you for that, though. Heeseung won't even bat an eye or help us with our gigs but because of you he changed."
Silence, silence, the cicadas formed a thickening burst of faint claps while your claws dug deeper into the boy’s collar.
Your fingertips finding its way to tug on your white dress looking for a safe haven, was it really because of you?
Taehyun spoke in amongst the soft murmurs of the crowds behind your back, "(Name)."
"You really didn't know, did you?" a giggle escaped from his lips.
You flinch ever so slightly as his fingertips find its way on your hair as if to stroke it, and your expression screams "what are you doing."
"Oh, relax. There's a tiny bug." The grin on his face never disappeared as he showed you the crushed tiny red bug, "But you know, it's quite amusing."
"Heeseung said you were damn smart, and so he thought you would be able to catch up quickly when you saw us."
Still, a slight frown washes over your eyebrows along with the growing glare in your eyes, "The fuck?"
A giggle softly escapes his cherry lips, "Ah~ I shouldn't be saying much. But there's one thing I could say," He slowly leans forward, his boba eyes widened in each passing second as if to devour you alive.
"Sweetheart, don't you remember me? Ha, maybe you don't. But how about this?" an ear-wrenching silence ensues when he finally spoke.
"Don't blame me, I'm only doing what Heeseung told me to do." Taehyun giggled.
Huh? What the fuck is he— your eyes followed the necklace twirled around the boy's fingers as he playfully dangled the object before you.
Your world seem shattered to shatter as it the realisation dawned on you, the view began to dissipate in and out and it felt like it was the two of you in this place despite the enormous crowds cleaning up their mess, leaving through the exit, or still in shock over the previous ordeal.
“Now go and play.” and with that, Taehyun left with a smug grin on lips—leaving you frozen all alone by yourself.
You couldn't move, your eyes stuck in such a way that it starts to get strained because of how long you were standing there.
What the fuck? Knees weak, you fell on the ground as you all the memories from the past crashed right into your mind.
The dark room, a pair of strong arms that immediately pulled you and does unquestionable things to you.
“Mmmhhh!!”
The stranger's hands that found its way all around your skin, heavy cologne that you smelled on him even when you didn't see him because of the darkness.
The voice that you eventually forgot, words that surfaces right back to your mind.
“…….”
No wonder, you felt there was something downright odd by Taehyun's scent the first time you met him in the studio.
"Don't blame me, I'm only doing what Heeseung told me to do."
It was him. The one who had stolen Heemin's necklace.
[9:44 PM]
The sharpened edges of the digits splattering on the top of your phone's screen seem to put you in a deeper dread past another one.
Cold ice bites every inch of your skin as you rushed out further and further away from the venue, heading to the main street where you keep waving for a cab. you stormed off out the exit, searching for any signs of Chaeryeong or Jungwon.
The carnival, carnival. You panted. There’s a carnival situated around this venue’s area. Clowns, arcades, cosplays — everything was there.
Every moment under this thickening darkness — your heart pounded under your fragile ribs—reminding you that you had no one right now but yourself. The sea of neon colours hits your perspective as you looked out from the cab’s window, it’s lights illuminating on the edge of your face, making you tear-stained eyes glow and dance along with each and every reflection of this gigantic insect-like city.
Gripping the phone in your hand as you clasped your hand in despair, you waved your hand in attempts to get a cab but it went on and on and still you were unable to find one, before a police car pulls up before you — noticing your ragged form and your immediate relief.
You rushed over to the car, tapping the window in desperate impatience, “Help me, help me please!”
The officer were stunned by your ragged form, "Huh? What's wrong?"
“Help me please! My family! They had been kidnapped!"
The officer didn’t question much and was quick to let you in and drove you to the location, promising that he’ll call for backup soon. You couldn’t think properly nor answer properly and so you just nodded, scared for your family’s life.
Foot tapping the floor of the car relentlessly, you asked the officer for the third time, "How long are we still?—"
"Don't worry, it's traffic." The dark red hue encircling the edges of his face were something you could only see.
You gulped, impatient. It's okay, it's okay! I still had time, I'm not alone, it's okay! You comforted yourself for the nth time.
Pass, pass. It felt like an eternity.
A blaring noise of bells, roaring music and squeaking shoes overflowed through your ears and it had your eyes shooting up to where the source of the noise came from. This was it, the carnival Heeseung wanted you to go to.
You immediately went out, your heels stepping on the soil. “This is the place! They must be here! Let’s—”
The car door immediately closed before you as if to shut you out from it.
“S-sir? What are you doing inside there? We have to find my family!”
You slammed the car's window pleading for him to pull it down but you could only observe as the officer slips in a cigarette in his mouth, lighting up ever so lightly as he gave you a disinterested look, finally pulling the window down.
"What are you doing? You said you'll help me—"
“Here kid.” The officer pulls out a card from his pockets, a puff of smoke blows through the air as he pulls out his cigarette with his other hand.
“The fuck is this?..”
"Get out, kid. This is least thing we could do for you, be grateful." the window immediately pulls up leaving you speechless after you took the card.
Shaking your head slowly, “I thought you were going to h-help me?”
Then it hits you. Hard as a fucking brick. You scoffed. You let out a mocking scoff, your hand trembling as it clenches.
“No don't tell me.. You’re one of Heeseung's?!—” your face contorts in immense disbelief and yet the officer was not a tad bit faltered by your outburst.
You slammed the car window on repeat, rage written all over your face as you gritted your teeth so hard, “Fuck. Fuck. And here I thought you’re going to help me?!”
You screamed at the top of your lungs at the car driving off—leaving you in this pathetic situation.
It kick you right in your guts.
Clasping your hands over your head, you clenched your fists admits your pouring tears from your eyes, a fit of sniffles here and there until you wiped off your tears—not wanting to dwell in your misery— before heading into the main entrance of the carnival, the lights above overflowed through your line of vision and you felt lost at this vast space. Childrens and adults alike scattering all over this place.
Your eyes burned from all crying you did and the piercing lights from all over the place wasn't helping either.
However, you were most overwhelmed by relentless outbursts of noises coming from the distance and when you look over to the source of the noise; a stall with a wooden hanging board above—tarot card shop— with a long line of gleeful children and people in all age groups queuing with cards in their hands.
That brought you back to the card the officer gave you; a blank white card.
Was this the game Heeseung told you to play?
You went to the stall in a frantic pace—unable to wait in your dreading situation however your hasty actions earned a harsh glare from other people, murmurs echoes and harsh narrow glares were thrown at you.
You couldn’t wait anymore, you couldn’t wait but the staff told you to go back and wait and so you did, biting your lip as you scratch your neck in utter impatience every now and then—your feet unable to stay still, tapping it on the ground as you waited for your turn where the children queued up in a long line before you.
The thickening impatience spiraled over you, the moonlight glows so bright signifying that the night is still young.
Hurry up, hurry up! You shut your eyes as you screamed in your mind.
"Next!"
Your eyes shoot open as you realise it was finally your turn and so you hurriedly approached the counter where a clown stood behind it.
The clown's face were painted with twisted expressions that reminded you of him.
"Card?"
Snapped out of your daze, you blinked in utter uneasy you placed the card on his hand.
The clown seems to take a whole minute in inspecting the card you gave and suddenly he lets out a cackle, hands curled in a fist as if to suppressed himself from cackling any further.
You frowned at his strange behaviour.
It took him awhile as he bend down to get something under the counter, sharp sound of shelves opening and closing, and when he finally fixed his posture to face you again — a pair of cards was what he presented on the table before you.
Cards that presented a drawn out painting of a cat and a fox.
"Pick one card whichever you wish to, however remember that the card you chose decides someone's fate."
"Who these cards reminded you of?" The clown strokes his fingers over the cards with eyes that seems to scratch every inch into your soul.
And then realisation dawned on you, pair of cards—a cat and a fox—eyes that screamed those auras.
[9:05] Hee01: Who do you think is the traitor?
Heeseung's text crashes through your mind like a speeding train.
The clown gave you a long, deep hard stare as he watched you picked between the cards.
"Choose! Who do you think it is? Choose wisely, miss." The clown exclaimed each word as if it didn't hold a heavy weight on you.
Who? Who? Your fingers hesitates to find its way one of the cards. To choose. To pick.
"Remember, if you fail. There will be consequences waiting for you."
Your ears started to tear up to the colossal weight of reality on you. The multiple things from the game centre, joyous screams from children behind you, faint sound of photo capturing, the sea of neon lights dancing in this gigantic carnival that almost resembles an insect with all its legs on all fours.
Eating you up on your insides and fleshing your intestines out, devouring every part of your brain.
Who should you choose?
Bam! Bam! Bam! The roaring clap of crowds, the exploding sea of flowers on the nightsky, the overflowing round colour of lights illuminating on the cards before you had you drowning in downright dilemma.
Your mind once again travels through the passages of memories with Chaeryeong's and Jungwon's presence in them, lingering inside it's episodes to see what went wrong and who did the ultimate betrayal on you.
You trembled— tremendous wave of guilt washes over you as your hands keep switching back and forth — wanting to get it right but at the same time, you don't want to.
Tap!
With your eyes shut tight to prevent your soul from withering inside, your hand finds it way to the one of the cards in a swift speed.
Trying to flip it over, the clown stopped you and pulled the card away from you which made you frown deeply.
I'm sorry, Jungwon. But I never really trusted you in the first place! You screamed inside your head, hoping for it to be true but at the same you can't bear to see the truth.
Silently praying that you were wrong.
"Ah." The clown smiles. Thus, the music box in his hand turns opened and its contents begun to dance like a spiralling loophole of hell.
Were you wrong? Did you make a mistake? Your soul were draining from your body like a soap wiggling its way out of your grasp.
His clown face snickered upon seeing the content of the card and there he flips it over, presenting it before your very eyes.
"You were. .—"
Bam! Bam! Bam!
The clown flips the card of the cat and the true form was a fool. You raised your eyebrow in confusion.
His red bob nose bounces ever so slightly, "You're wrong! Deadly mistaken, that is!"
"What? No.. It wasn't him?.." you couldn't form words, "Are you t-telling me it's?"
"We never know, why don't you guess?"
"Don't fucking play games with me! Who was it!" You pulled the clowns collar, your mouth trembling in the process, “You can’t be telling me it’s her!”
"Aw, young miss. Why so upset? This isn't you. Control your emotions."
Utter distress filled you in.
"Relax, the game doesn't end yet, but how unfortunate it is that someone has to bear the mistake you made."
Your hand trembled in a frantic manner as tears instantly filled up the edges of your eyes.
“What?..- so w-what’s going- don’t tell me you're going-”
The clown’s red painted lips curved up in the widest twisted grin as if to mocked you so hard.
“NO! PLEASE DON'T DO IT I BEG OF YOU!” you pleaded, slamming the table.
“It’s not like you can save either one of them, miss.” the clown cackled.
“Now choose one more card! And we’ll see who’ll take your sweet punishment. It’s lose a limb time!”
“I don’t want to choose! I don’t want to! You can’t fucking force me!” you bawled in tears as you clenched your fists.
He tilted his head, “Then if you won’t choose, we’ll gladly do it for you.”
The clown's head immediately picked the card from the table.
“How about this, since you chose that boy, he should take it on himself then!"
"NO! DON'T DO IT PLEASE!"
You shook your head in desperation, eyes widened in complete horror, mouth drooping so hard saliva was streaming down your jaw. Pain, pain it was as it breaks every bone in your body. Scared and desperate, you took out your phone texting Heeseung.
[10:03PM] you: please!! Don’t do anything! Heeseung!
you were typing . . .
[10:03PM] you: HEESEUNG! Heeseung! Answer me!
Bending over your knees, you couldnt stop bawling in tears as you tapped the call button, trying to get to him but to no avail, you were left ignored.
What's going on?
“I’m sorry, Jungwon! I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry, i’m sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!” you keep apologising like a repeated mantra. "EJ, I'm so-sorry!"
Dread consumed your insides as you begin to have a panic attack.
Your cries of pain consumes the place but no one can hear you as your cries were drowning in the roaring sound of the fireworks, the people too deep in their fascination for the booming flowers on the nightsky.
“Hmm? Seems like Heeseung had taken a pity on you.” you snapped your head so fast to look up at the clown with the phone on his hand, exaggerating each word of his. “You know the cafe all of you three went to once? Go there! He might be around the corner! However probably dead! It's just around here, right?"
Laughter echoes behind your back as you didn’t think even further nor hesitate but sprinted to the exit, fists clenching as you keep waving off your hand for a cab to appear.
But it was useless.
You ran around in this massive crowd, suffocating in pure agony as they passed and hit your shoulder in opposite ways.
Yet, even the pain wasn't as much as the pain you're going to feel if something has happened to Jungwon. Even EJ won't forgive you once he knew what you did.
Lips trembling, eyes darting in utter chaos, never faltering nor losing focus — you ran to the park, panting, your entire figure so ragged and tired as your eyes darted all around the park looking for him. “J-Jungwon?"
Soft strokes of rain drops dropping onto a stagnant lake from the distance, clouded and dull sky emitting a faint clap of thunder — a foreboding melody approaching each passing second.
Pit pat, pit pat.
You called out for him again as your foot brings you around, "Jungwon! Jungwon? Where are you?!"
"Please answer me!"
Yet the presence of the boy was nowhere to be seen, almost as if he was never in this place. However you refused to give up, still walking forward looking for the boy.
But something, or someone in the distance caught your attention from your peripheral vision.
Halt.
Your breath hitched, but a huge wave of relief passed through your body as you let your feet raced its way to her. “Chaeryeong? Are you okay?! Chaeryeong! CHAERYEONG!”
"(Name)—?" Chaeryeong's eyes widened.
"Chaeryeong! Thank god you're here— are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? I've been trying to call you for the past few hours, why the hell weren't you answering?!"
Chaeryeong whimper, her eyebrows knitted together and mouth trembling, "(Name).."
"We have to go, it's not safe here anymore! Somewhere, somewhere—" you grabbed Chaeryeong's hand, voice panting so hard as your eyes darted around your surroundings—thinking of what to do and where to go. "Fuck, let's just leave please!"
"How amusing."
Your feet froze, head snapping to the direction of the voice and you swore your heart sank into deeper fear when you saw Beomgyu leaning against the tree. You immediately pulled Chaeryeong behind you, using your figure to shield her away from the red haired boy.
"The fuck you doing here?!"
"Why? Can't I?"
You scoffed, eyes growing wide in such a way as to mock the red haired boy. "Just get lost! I'm not letting you get close to her! So get lost or I'll fucking murder you!"
Panic consumed your entire body that you just want the boy to get out of your sight. Your hands tightening the grip on Chaeryeong's wrist. You ain't gonna let anything bad happen to her.
Not now, not ever.
"Pfft!" Loud laughter emits from the red haired boy as he hold his sides with his arms, mouth wide open and eyes shut as if the whole thing was an entertainment show for him.
Silence finally consumes everything for a brief moment when he open his eyes, staring at you intensely but you soon realise he wasn't looking at you but at Chaeryeong.
"Yah, don't you wanna tell your goodie bestfriend what you did?"
Huh?
Suddenly, you felt Chaeryeong's hand trembled in yours, her fingers now tightening in your hand. "Let's just l-leave. ." she whimper in a very tiny voice, her head low as if to avoid Beomgyu's intense gaze.
This wasn't how Chaeryeong usually act. What's going on?
"What? What's wrong?—" you brushed her hair, worried to death if Chaeryeong was hurt anywhere. "Did they hurt you? Did they give you something?!"
"Fuck, I can't watch this anymore!" Beomgyu exclaimed as he pushed himself forward.
You walked backwards, alarmed by the boy's approaching presence.
"Yah, if you don't wanna tell her then I will." Beomgyu pouted, "(Name), you are too kind don't you think? Or maybe too dumb, pfft. That girl behind you are the reason why your plan are now messed up!"
Stop. You stood still as a stone.
You didn't know what to expect nor think about it. Heck, you don't know what to do about what you heard just now—from the boy across from the street before you.
"Y-you're lying.." stuttering as your eyes blinked in an unstable manner. "You're trying to ruin our friendship—"
"Then why didn't she bring your sweet, sweet family to the concert?" Beomgyu tilted his head in a mockery manner.
You froze in utter horror with every word escaping the boy's mouth—lips falling apart, the tightened grip you had on Chaeryeong's hands loosens as you struggled to accept what you heard.
But the girl behind you refuses to let go, tightening her grip on your hand with both her hands—tears now pouring down her cheeks.
"Is.. it true?" your voice came out more as a whisper laced with downright pain and even though you let it out as a question, you wanted her to say no.
Tears brimmed out of Chaeryeong's eyes as she started to shake her head, softly saying each word which turns into high-pitched at the end “Th-this isn’t what you think!”
It dawned on you and yet part of you refuse to believe it.
Your feet made its way backwards. What is this? What is this? What is this?
“NO! (Name)! I didn’t meant it! I was unable to do anything! I’m sorry (Name)!” she tried to tugged your stone like arms, you could only look at her with wide open eyes that screams pain.
“Wha- what did you do? What- What have you done?—” you choked on your breathe, eyes shooting up to glare at her. "WHY DID YOU DO IT?!"
You shoved her arms away, avoiding her frantic approaching hands in a way that shows how your hatred were growing stronger for every drop of the rain falling on your bare skin.
Chaeryeong shook her head, crying, “I—”
“D-don’t touch me! Don’t you fucking touch me!” you trembled as you avoid her touch like it’s venomous to your skin, “Bitch? How dare you betray us!”
You saw red. Everything was growing red as the pure affection you had for the girl seems to vanished bit by bit.
“Where and how did you betray us?! You knew it was important for us! But, but!” gasping for air as this ugly betrayal surges it way to your heart, "I TRUSTED YOU! WE TRUSTED YOU! I—"
High-pitched scream of yours made the cicadas grew silent, lizards went back to their shelter and only the ominous glow of the yellow lamp was what accompany the both of you.
Now, there was only silence deathly silence.
Chaeryeong clenches her fists while breaking down in tears as she continued to apologized to you on repeat, like a broken radio. Broken radio. But really who’s the truly broken radio between the two of you? Was it you or her? Should you blame yourself or her?
Who?!
“It— it wasn’t easy! I wanted to s-stop! But I really couldn’t escape from him (Name)!” Chaeryeong wailed in pain, hanging her head low.
Pit pat, pit pat.
Silence forms as if mother nature had seen enough.
A soft chime!
Your phone’s screen lights up with another notification from him popping up.
[10:03PM] Hee01: you lose the game. Now your family had to pay the price.
[10:03PM] Hee01 has attached an image.
Your breath had caught up on your throat the moment your eyes fell on the attached image he sent to you.
He was too cruel, too cruel, too fucking evil.
Cupping your mouth with your immense trembling hands as tears overflowed out from your eyes for a dozen times.
"(N-name)?.."
Your parents had their heads tied around on a noose as they were laid on a place you couldn't understand where it was from.
[10:05PM] Hee01: let's play another game, shall we?
You were lost at words as if your system had shut down, the horror of this betrayal was something you couldn't bear to have a thought of anymore and now you had to go through another miserable pain.
Your heels spun around in a throbbing pain in your veins as if you've been standing there for an eternity.
"(Name)! (Name)! I'm really sorry! Please where are you going?!" Chaeryeong tries to to grab your arm but you pushed her away in your solemn state.
“G-get lost. Just get lost..” you nonchalantly said it, leaving the girl behind despite her desperate protests and relentless apologies.
A faint clap of thunder, roaring its wrath to the tenants of this vast world. For some, it’s a joy for the crops to drench in for them to grow to their glory, for some it’s in a form of punishment and that someone was you right now.
One, two, a few almost like a soft stroke of the raindrop fell on your skin — disguising as one of your tears dripping down your face. Your phone illuminates for the nth time, every text from him was a pure hellbound tying you with him and you were hoping to cut it off with possibly a knife or a scissor.
Though how unfortunate you were, as you were fighting restlessly to cut it off — it was pulling you even deeper like a sandman’s lair. His lair.
There, and then in the midst of the roaring thunder and the mother-like pit pats of the rain drop — you stumble upon a kid in a raincoat, swinging his arms as he let out his little hops on the tiny puddles across the street.
Fuck, you thought.
The long and wet, grey pathway. Your dress, hair and skin has been now drenched like you’ve drowned.
Laugh, laugh, how pathetic you were. Was it all coming back to you? The petty game you’ve started from the beginning? Karma has bitten you back, isn’t?
All because you sent a text, with a seemingly petty child-like games of yours and it has now been turned into a bloodbath by the very boy you fooled instead.
All the lamps flickered like a bunch of psychos dancing in a round circular pattern.
“I’m tired. I’m tired. .” a whisper so silent it felt like you had no one in the first place.
A soft chime!
A series of notifications pops up on your phone’s screen and you swore you can’t take it anymore as you read through his texts.
[10:07] Hee01: now let me explain our little game!
[10:07] Hee01: your little family and friend is hidden around in the city and you must find them before ur time ends, you got 1 hr :)
As if your life hasn't been shattered completely, you were proven wrong as you lose your footing on the ground — eyes widening in utter horror as you typed out a text so vigorously.
[10:09PM] you: TF YOU THINKING?? HOW AM ELSE I SUPPOSE TO FIND THEM?! ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?!!!!
[10:10PM] Hee01: oh honey, dont worry. I’ll give you two hints. Rooftop. Red flag.
[10:10PM] you: what?.. are you trying to tell me that that..
[10:10PM] Hee01: the night is still young, baby. You got 1 hr, that’s all u have. If u fail to find them all, their fate would end up of their blood dripping from their head on the street :’)
Distress etched all over your face as your knees bring you all around the city. Your heavy white dress that flows along with the cold breeze as you keep running, running and running up and down the stairs.
Wiping off your tears in a vigorous manner as you stride off to the street with multiples buildings around you and you felt that there was no hope for you to ever find them.
An endless labyrinth of misery.
[10:13PM] Hee01: time starts now.
Run, don’t stop, if you stopped — they will die. Don’t stop!
Your eyes shoots up up to see a red flag sticking up on the edge on top of the building's rooftop
Sigh of relief.
Eyes darting all over your surroundings and hasty breathing as you went insidr building, sprinting upstairs and pushing open the rooftop’s door and yet you were met with nothing but the empty voids of the night sky and the sea of neon colours of this gigantic city.
Where are they?..
You almost want to cry again. If you want, you could've jump from this building just so you can end this pure torture that Heeseung puts you in through.
But you know you can't, you can't!
You walked slowly to the edge of the building and there your breath were suck out from your lungs when you notice the numerous red flags sticking on every rooftop you can ever see.
You clasped your head in your hand, bawling so loud that there's no way you could find your parents in all these buildings.
Tick, tock.
Tick, tock.
Tick, tock.
[10:19PM]
You should be getting up on your feet right now, you should be but why, why can't you stand?
[10:27PM]
You still haven't got over Chaeryeong's betrayal and here you were on the edge of your life trying holding yourself back together, but everything seems to be useless at this point.
Soft chime!
[10:39PM] Hee01: have you found them?
[10:39PM]
The glowing screen of your phone had by now been drowned by your tears.
The entirety of this huge pressure made you gave up. It was too much to bear. You keep panting and panting, searching for an air to breathe but it your lungs ache, pure fear of what could happen if the timer runs out and you weren't able to save them or more frightening was, not even one of them.
But your feet still won't stand up on its own.
It's all over, isn't?
“(Name)?!”
You slowly look up to see those familiar feline eyes. You burst into tears letting out small apologies for accusing him as a traitor and finally told him everything of what had happened to you today including Chaeyeong — it was too much to bear, apparently.
“It’s okay, I cannot guarantee I won’t do the same thing too if I was in your shoes.” Jungwon comforted you.
You nodded, tears forming in your eyes but then your gaze fell on his bandaged hand. “W-what happened to your?—” and Jungwon seem to catch up fast as his left hand brushes it over.
“Oh, it's nothing! Got on an accident earlier, it's nothing serious.”
“But it seems really serious, are you sure you’re fine?’
Your hoarse voice made Jungwon realise how consumed you were with fatigue but he chose to remain silent.
“Yeah I’m fine!” Jungwon tries to pull up a smile as he helps you get up on your wobbly feet. “C’mon, we don’t have enough time anymore. Let’s find them okay?”
Jungwon and you scattered all around the city searching for the red flags hoarding over the rooftops.
Rush footsteps echoes all over the stairs as the two of you barges into the rooftop. An enormous weight of pressure were suddenly released from your chest when you finally found your parents.
Cry, cry.
“Mom! Dad!” you knelt before them, helping them up but soon you notice that they were given drugs so they’re in an unconcious state.
It took you and Jungwon a sudden realisation that it will take you a horrendous amount of time to carry them both.
However, both of you kept going on.
You carried your mother on your back as best as you can while your father on Jungwon’s, your knees was burning in horrendous pain as you went down the stairs, being careful as you as to not accidentally letting them off.
The circular motion of this stairs are starting to make your head feel light, your eyes forming dust and air.
Jungwon notices you and tried to get your senses back, “(Name)! We’re almost there!”
After dropping off your parents inside a bar with an excuse of them being drunk and that you'll come back later — you and Jungwon once again wander limitlessly across the streets, repeating the same action over and over again in the midst of the joyous music of this city.
“This won’t do, we have to split up.” Jungwon pants as he put his hands on his knees.
You nodded, spinning your heels around but before you do, you shouted for Jungwon, “Be careful please!”
Jungwon was taken aback but nodded in return
You didn’t know why you said that out of blue but somehow you already had this growing fear inside you that he, too, could possibly lose his life for helping you like this. You were afraid that something might happen out of nowhere, you can’t rest nor take a moment to think properly — you were running out of time and you swore your head was about to burst.
Was this what Heeseung really wanted?
You keep searching and searching for them, for EJ and your sister. But you weren't sure whether they're on the same rooftop or being separated from each other plus another problem was the rooftop of each building had no longer red flags on top of them so you were going back and forth, circling each intersection and blocks. But don’t worry, you still had time.
I still had enough time!—
Bam!
A full crowd of high-pitched screams suddenly emits high up in the air which had you clasped your head in your hands instantly but you turned around to see crowds gathering in a certain spot and then you looked up only for your stomach to churned in utter fear.
There it was, the red flag dancing with the cold breeze on the top of the building.
No, it can’t be. You let out an awkward laugh as you brought your attention back to the gathered crowd.
Tap, tap, your heels formed a faint soft clicks as you approached the crowd, looking down to your phone
[10:53PM]
You still had time. . .
You still had 10 minutes left before the timer ends so this can’t be.
This must a pure joke, isn’t? Your hand shivered but you stopped it, still giggling inside your empty void.
Tap, tap.
Tap, tap.
Tap, tap.
And as you find your way in to the crowd, you were met with the gruesome sight of the lifeless body on the ground and you found yourself unable to move as if your system had shut down. Your brain unable to hold it’s cells for you to think, your heart unable to move so it can pump up blood to your entire body, your lips had gone pale and your pupils dilated to the canvas of horror laying before you.
You fall before it.
Soft chime!
The canvas of horror holding this familiar and gentle brown hair, eyes that hold sincerity inside it which was now left open as if it’s looking up to the air, lips had gone pale and purple as if he had died instantly as soon as his head hitted the ground.
EJ.
—Soft chime!
You couldn’t stop yourself from shaking violently nor held yourself together from falling apart on this cold, rough street. You couldn’t cry, though. The crowds had gathered around the lifeless body of him you couldn’t open your eyes for.
You spoke silently, breaking down inside, “I- still had 20 minutes l-left. .”
You couldn’t stop choking on your breathe, clasping your head when you look up to the rooftop from where you left him initially. W-what’s going on?..
You couldn’t see Jungwon, you couldn’t see him. But there he was, with the expression mirroring yours as he approached the lifeless corpse on your arms. This enormous weight pulling you down even deeper into this empty void.
“Why. . why are you here?” your hand frantically brushes over EJ’s face, a complete contrast from your dead expression, “No, come back. C-come back.”
Too deep in your labyrinth of despair, you failed to notice Jungwon falling behind you—emptiness circulating in his eyes. But he tries to quickly regained his composure, wiping off his tears before pulling out his phone to call for the ambulance.
His hands trembling with the phone within his grasp, his voice stuttering as he tells them your current location.
Another soft chime! And yet you ignored it, eyes with dried tears staring into the empty space hold EJ's freezing hands in yours.
"Why are you so cold?.." you choked on your throat, the freezing weather making your nose aches with every tiny sniff.
Your ears were muffled with this drowning and growing bass and yet despite all of that you could hear ambience Jungwon's desperate voice calling for the emergency.
He's dead.. Why are you still trying? You asked Jungwon deep inside your mind. You couldn’t believe either, was that really the last time you would’ve ever talk to EJ?
“EJ! Remember don’t do anything! Just stay calm! I’ll save you later, I promise!”
Another chime, two, three, four, five, countless of tings emerges from your phone which then results in the gaze of the gathered crowds on you.
Ha, you failed. You failed to keep your promise.. to him.
“(Name)! (Name)!” Jungwon tugs your shirt in hopes to get you back.
Snapped out from your spiraling anguish, your look at the boy beside you with heavy eyes.
"Your phone."
Shaky fingers taps the numerous notifications from him. You're unable to comprehend the texts on your screen as your chest and heart were overflowing with too much anguish from the body laying before you.
This familiar name. Another enormous weight falls on you just after another.
[11:06PM] Hee01: attached an image.
[11:06PM] Hee01: I miss u :( I'm sure your sister miss you too so u better hurry up
From the distance, something caught your attention. A dark, black car pulls up across from the street and you instantly recognized who it belongs to.
Heavy eyes falling back on the lifeless boy on the ground before you, your lips trembled as your fingers stroked his cold rosy cheeks and down to his dry chapped lips that was once full of life.
"Just go, (Name). I'll handle this, just leave your parents to me." a voice like a stroke of a feather as Jungwon's head lies low, you knew that he too were unable to cry nor scream as you both have thought that you two could've save him.
That you still had time.
Silence, silence.
You remained silent throughout the entire drive to the church where Heeseung and your sister was. Curling into your knees, head buried deep inside, only hearing your slow breath amidst the sound of the radio of the car.
Though, the radio seems to be broken.
Broken like you are.
The enormous weight and heavy pressure this snowy dress you had on you is so painful you couldn’t bear to take another step to the colossal church waiting for you across the path.
But you still did, you still kept going on — pushing the enormous main door and there your eyes met his.
The same eyes you grew to despise, love, disgust, loathe, despair for.
Small, slow steps you took as you cross the aisle. The church was so high up to the intricate patterned ceiling, the dark brown painted walls, the holy statues and the entire vibe of this place that was supposed to give you serenity feeling but the devil himself was standing across from you with a wicked smile adorning his face.
“Ah, at last, my darling. You’re here.” Heeseung opens his arms wide for you.
But the only person you had your utmost attention for was your sister, Chaewon who was laid against the wall, blood dripping from her head all the way down to her cheek. For awhile, you thought she was unconscious but you realise that it was far from that by her heavy eyes and fatigued form.
“Unnie!”
Before you could approach your sister, Heeseung stood before you with a smug grin on his face which turn into a pout, “How rude, don’t you miss me though?”
Seeing his face made you wanted to punch him and curse at him for eternity but you can't, not when your sister were right there, a few more meters away from you.
“You fucking dare even ask me that?” your face contorts into utter disgust which doesn’t affects him a tad bit.
"Feisty, I like that." Heeseung grinned as he wrapped his hand around your wrist, pulling you into his embrace despite your protests. “Look at you, so ragged and so tired. I must have made it so hard for you to enjoy your night out, did I?”
It was only now that you notice the presence of an old priest in his all-black attire when you glance over Heeseung's shoulder It gave you a uneasy feeling. What is this. You just wanted this bullshit to end for once and for all.
“You did such a good job playing the game I made for you, now let me see,” He strokes your face with his fingers, eyes scanning every edge of your face, “I’m glad your face is as pretty as it is, all mine.”
His voice caressing your ears irked you so much— Pretty. Mine. All mine.
Your hard and cold demeanour finally broke over his softened ones, you seriously can’t take this twisted words of his.
You suppressed the need to choke on your throat and gather your courage, your lips unable to control itself anymore. “W-what do you want? Please. Let’s just get this over with.”
“Oh, darling. Why are you rushing? We all had the time we needed in this world! Don’t we?”
“I don’t have any fucking time to play your little games!” Finally, tears spilled from your eyes as you pushed him away, “Tell me what do you want me to do just so you can let go of my family!”
Broken you were, helpless you felt as you dug your claws beneath your palms. You just wanted to fall on the floor and crouch in your little world because you were so betrayed by what she did, by what Chaeryeong did. By EJ's death, his lifeless body flashing through your mind. Your sister's worn out form against the wall.
Everything, everything fucking hurts as you shoot a glare full of hatred towards the man standing before you.
A mocking sigh emits from the young man. “How impatient. But fine.”
Your teary eyes shooted up to meet his lovesick gaze, “What?”
“Darling, you’re too dense, aren’t you?” Heeseung giggled, gesturing to the priest standing before you, “Remember? You agreed to marry me.”
You shook your head in a pathetic, small way. "No.."
“Marry me, and then we’ll leave this place, let’s live somewhere where there’s no one but us!” He took your hands in his, voice growing desperate every second, eyes brimming in utmost affection as you shook your head vigorously, “If you do that, then I might be kind enough to leave your family and friends alone. I guess, it’s fair right? You can’t ask for something without giving something darling.”
“But why? Why! We've only known each other for seven months! Why—” you bit your lip so hard.
A spine chilling chuckle escapes Heeseung's cherry lips, “(Name), Isn’t it obvious enough? It is because I love you that I’m doing this for you, for us!”
"For us?! Us?! You're fucking insane!" You yelled at the top of your lungs.
"I wouldn't be this fucking insane if you didn't text me in the first place! And then fooled me as if I was a mere game to you! You knew I like you and yet you gave me fake name! Fake face! Everything is fucking fake!"
Heeseung's voice echoes through the church's hall that had you shuddered in utter fear.
Blood drained out from your face as your lips trembled with the words you let out, "Y-you knew..?"
Raising his eyebrow in a cocky manner, "You think I wouldn't knew? Oh god, darling! You're so smart and yet so dumb!
Air. You need to breathe. Breathe. You need to say something, something — the fear of being caught consumes your entire being.
Shutting your eyes tight you did as you screamed out every single words. "I know i’m sorry for doing such thing! But this doesn’t make sense, you couldn’t have possibly love me — someone you’ve never met! I’m really sorry! I’m really sorry! I'm sorry for doing that to you!”
A gut-wrenching silence consumes the insides of the church.
You slowly opened your eyes to look at him with so much fear spiraling in your wounded heart.
“Shh, shh.” He pulled you into his embrace, brushing your hair in a loving manner, his mouth pouting ever so slightly but in contrast to his dark gaze, “You don’t have to apologise, it’s true it pissed me off that I wanted to rip you to pieces once I met you but when I finally saw you with my own eyes.. I didn't think it would make me you made me fell more harder than I think I could've been.”
You remained silent in fear.
“But I just thought I still had to teach you a lesson.." Heeseung stroked your cheeks with his finger, "The game was fun isn’t? That’s how you made me felt all this time, wandering like an insane and looking all over the places for you. Remember the card game? Choosing between two people whom I never know which was the real person i’m looking for? That was how you did it by choosing your sister as your face, how funny. And the betrayal part? Now you know how it feels, that’s how you made me go through it. It hurts, didn’t it? All these games was what you put me into.”
You gritted your teeth, suppressing your tears as you look down ashamed of what you did.
“Now it’s only fair, that we had gone through the same thing. It’s settled, love.” Gripping your jaw, forcing your eyes to met his intense gaze, "So marry me darling or else.. you wouldn't want your sister to end up like that, do you?"
“If you want, your sister could be our guest, the witness to our love.”
You gritted your teeth. “You’re insane..”
“Yes I am, insane for you and my love for you, isn’t it so obvious at this point?” A devilish smirk adorned his cherry red lips as he reached out his hands for you, “C’mon, (Name).”
"Heeseung, do you take (Name) for your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
What is this.. You trembled within his grasp and suddenly his fingers find its way to your neck, softly stroking your skin—so sickeningly sweet.
"I do."
The way he said it was dreading you.
The priest then turns to you, "(Name), do you take Heeseung for your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
Your lips felt like it had been sewed by a thread, choking on your saliva in this unnerving situation because of his lovestruck eyes that was observing your every bit of action which was so extremely disturbing and unsettling.
It was as if his eyes were screaming— say it! Say it!
You knew there's no turning back right now as your sister were on the edge between life and death, and more specifically being hanged on a noose that's decided by the choices you made.
Hissing in almost like whisper, "I— I do."
When you let such an answer, only then you notice how his sharp expression of waiting you to say that one sentence turned into a sheer satisfaction—absolute exhilaration consumed his eyes.
His teeth came into view as his cherry red lips tugged up in the wildest grin you've ever seen—so wicked and terrifying that you whimper in utter fear.
"Till death do us apart."
Bloodcurdling scream erupts in the empty air—you on your fetus like form with your trembling hands clasping your ear in attempts to recover from what you've seen.
The lifeless corpse before you.
With a gun in his grasp, one loud shot ended the priest’s life as he fell on the floor in a loud thud — his blood scattering all over his face, the holy status on the table and the floor all being stained in red.
"W-why did you have to kill him?!"
You couldn’t process everything, it was too much! it was too much, too much to take.
Heeseung finds it rather amusing to see your state, tilting his head as he blows off the smoke from the gun’s tip. “One out, darling. We don’t need another damn pest crouching into our life.”
"W-why.. Why would you do that?! He didn't even do anything!" You bawled in tears once again.
Witnessing death one after another, wooden like eyes once the soul left it's host, blood sucking out from their once vibrant skin—every single time, your soul are sucked out along with them—one more time, and you are sure to death that you will be only a living doll void of a heartbeat in the end.
Approaching your pathetic wailing form in a light hearted manner as if nothing had happened—brushing your hair in the utmost affection he can give to you because he loves you so much that it hurts, “Hush, love. You'll very well forgot it soon, how about we grab some dinner while we're on our way to our honeymoon?”
The witness to all of these absolute madness had remained stone cold this entire time.
“Fuck, stop crying. I get it that you're adorable but atleast save your tears for later. Hm, how about this? As a present to my lovely wife, i’ll let your sister live. I’m just that kind, right?” Heeseung smiled so sickeningly sweet at you.
It caught you off guard as you sniffed frantically, you find it unbelievable that he was willing to do just that for you but are we still surprise? This guy is a living form of mental derangement but if this is what it takes for your sister to survive then you won't mind a single bit.
Not when you already lose someone so precious to you.
You nodded in a quick hasty manner with your eyes filled with burning tears—darting all around the space, blinking in utter anxiety as he wrapped his arms around your waist — gleefully telling you all the future he could think of with you, to you.
Anyone would've had their hearts swell in pure bliss with his every confession of love and loyalty—but for you, he's akin to a mad dog disguised in an innocent pup image that will eventually devour you if you ever dare so to rebel against him.
Heeseung looked over his shoulder to look at the girl laid against the wall with so much contempt in his eyes.
"So much for all that trouble, I’m letting you live, happy?” was what he said before dragging you away with him to the entrance, his arm wrapped around your waist as it finds it way to your hair, brushing it affectionately like there's no tomorrow.
Only hanging your head low and obedient all for the sake of your sister.
Rain had by far vanished in a silent manner outside the church, yet the clouded sky remain firm and steady.
Nails dug on the carpeted floor resulting in a slow burn screech.
“I’m..” Chaewon clenches her fist as she raised her head up to look at you and Heeseung.
“Huh? Still able to talk?” Heeseung scoffed in amusement.
“You—” you couldn’t bear to see your sister like this and you notice that even though Heeseung had this cold demeanour up, his tense grip on your hand says otherwise.
“You fooled us.” Chaewon cried out in pain, face contorting into immense pain.
Taken aback by her simple cries of pain, Heeseung just laughed. “What a joke, c’mon love. She’s just wasting our time.”
“I’M NOT GOING TO BACK DOWN WITHOUT A FUCKING FIGHT! LEE HEESEUNG!”
—Shriek!
The scene before you was downright a scene of dreadful horror.
Eyes stretched out in such a way you couldn't believe what had happened; an excruciating and agonising outcry of pain emitting in the air and everything happen in a split second when Heeseung fell before you, his grip on your hand loosening as it returns to cupped his forehead pooling out a waterfall of blood.
"Unnie.." you called out for your sister who was shocked to death by what she did as she look down at a holy statue in her grasp, the blood of the boy dripping from the statue's head down to her fingers and staining the red carpet into deeper shades.
"Fuck! Fuck— Fuck! IT FUCKING HURTS! BITCH!—"
You couldn’t move. The loud shriek of Heeseung screaming in pain and Chaewon standing just right there. It all feels like as if death has truly starting to tick it’s bell.
Chaewon immediately recovered from her frozen state and tugged your arm, pulling you with her out of the church.
A menacing glare shoots up to you and your sister's form.
"YOU— ARGHHH! . .FUCKING RUN THEN!" the boy's bloodcurdling scream had you and your sister frozen in an instant and you don't want to look at him but you did and you regret it.
His body trembling so wild while his knees on the floor, hands miserably cupping his forehead which was pooling down half of Heeseung's face in a waterfall of blood had your stomach churned in disgust and not only that—rage, hysteria, madness, agony—eyes widened in such a way it would crawl out to peel your skin alive and mouth contorted into the wildest form of unnerving laughter. "Once I catch you, you'll fucking regret it."
Run.
Run!
Run!
Breathe in, breath out, breath in, breath out.
In this empty labyrinth in which you and your sister desperately tries to search for an exit; the way to the city. Every step you took feels like an approach to death instead to freedom, it was starting to drain you and out and your sister was losing it too.
Heeseung had really planned it all too well.
Your knees begin to burn and lungs tightening with each breathe you took and your sister was no different—air sucking out from her face and it dawned on you that Heeseung might've given her drugs.
Ushering her to rest—you two hid behind the tall and overgrown bushes just nearby.
"Are you okay?"
Your hand finding its way to tuck her hair in the back of her ears, voice like whisper that soothes her being, that same affection never vanished into empty air despite everything — it broke Chaewon's insides to pieces, into something she wasn't able to fathom— was it shame? Was it embarrassment? Was it regret?
Every way she think of it, memories from the past crashed right before her eyes—reminding her of every single thing she did and said.
Ah, I'm such a fucking fool. . Chaewon whispered in the back of her mind, wanting nothing but to slap herself, for not fulfilling her responsibility as an older sister to you.
And even more foolish she was that even after that entire ordeal back in Heeseung's mansion that day—she still refuses to believe that Heeseung would've never done such a thing if it wasn't for you seducing him. How funny.
Only then when she was left laying against the walls of the church, forced to take drugs and left to observe the true colours of the boy she grew to love—did she truly accept that everything she had ever felt from the boy; be it affection, sweet words or candy like smiles—unfortunately was only the result of her own delusion.
Or she had been simply fooled.
Witnessing your worn out form had her wondering how of an awful human being she turn out to be for the fake love she was dying to protect this entire time, not realising that the true love has always been standing still and firm just behind her from the very beginning.
And still is here, right in front of her.
"I-I'm okay.." Chaewon stuttered, suppressing the urge to cry and then because what right does she have to cry after all the things she did to you?
Pathetic indeed, isn't?
“Where’s mom and dad?”
“They’re fine, I’ve hidden them somewhere.” you gave a small smile to your sister.
No words were exchanged any further — as too many harsh words, words that cross the line and hurt so bad had been blurted out so many times you two couldn’t count it.
Shame, shame was all Chaewon felt. Yet she couldn’t find words to form nor find the courage to say sorry, and the only thing she could do was take your hand in hers, tightening her grip onto yours which formed warmth, as if she was telling you that she was sorry while she’s avoiding your gaze.
Rustle!
You snapped your head to the sudden rustling noise of fallen leaves far from behind you.
"Did you hear that?!" You whisper yelled at your sister in which she raised her eyebrows in confusion but was also alarmed.
“Gotcha!” a dark and alarming giggle emits from the smiley red haired boy who starts to approached you both. You and your sister walked backwards, panicking— not sure of what to do in this downright despair.
“Stop running. It’s getting tiring and so fucking useless, you know? Heeseung’s coming. Just. Give. Up.” Beomgyu tilted his head, gesturing behind him.
"As if. Fuck you, bitch." Chaewon spat out which earned an amusement scoff from the boy.
Approaching danger.
"You speak as if you had the favour right now." Beomgyu shakes his head and in a deep breathe he took, "GUYS, THEY'RE HE—"
Before you and your sister could spun around to run or before he could finish his words, someone jumped out and punched Beomgyu.
Pure shock splattered on your face, "Jungwon?! How did you?—"
“The fuck?” was Beomgyu’s reaction when jungwon appeared. Trickles of blood dripped out from the corners of Beomgyu's mouth, his eyes screaming insanity.
“Not you too? Fuck are you all traitors then?!”
Jungwon gritted his teeth, using all his strength to overthrow the other boy and yet he won't stop screaming for his group. "Fucking stop— screaming!"
He punched the red haired even harder until it resulted in his unconsciousness.
It went on for a horrendous amount of time that felt so long but in reality it wasn’t.
Your feet couldn’t stick to the ground, eyes darting to the distance and the commotion before you over and over again.
"They're coming, Jungwon! We have to go!" You cried out, your hands sweating as you tighten your grasp with your sister in which she did so as well.
Panic, panic, panic surged inside you and it's not only you. It was evident that it was eating Chaewon and Jungwon as well.
Your head shoots up along with the other two, shouts and screams — voices of men, familiar voices approaching from the distance.
Jungwon immediately gets up, almost stumbling on his feet before backing off before you and your sister.
"We have to split up." Jungwon said.
"Wait why? Wouldn't that be too dangerous?!"
"It's better this way, if they couldn't catch one of us, we could call for help."
"But—"
"We don't have any other choice. Chaewon, you have to follow me."
"No why my sister?"
"(Name). It's so obvious that he wanted no one but you! Give me a piece of your wedding dress and I'll lure them over."
"It's too dangerous!!" You cried out as you dug your nails on your dress, clenching a fistful of it.
"We have no choice!" Jungwon gritted his teeth, as he, too — was in pure fear and desperation. The atmosphere, the situation, the reality of where you three are in right now was a call for death bell.
You two eventually split up after a much hard decision to do, racing into different directions within the woods hoping to reach for the city soon. You turned on your phone, desperately looking for a line to call for the emergency. Someone, someone please pick up, you screamed in your mind.
"Agh, fuck Beomgyu." Yeonjun lightly kicks the unconscious boy on the ground, "You lose like a bitch."
"Your face really gotta be the first thing I see in this broad fucking daylight."
"I'm so sleepy, ah." Kai whined from the distance, slipping his hands in his pockets to avoid the freezing weather.
"They're not so far, I guess." Soobin muttered, "Right, Heeseung?"
There the boy appeared with a fresh red scar on his forehead, the same disinterested and dead look when you're not in his presence.
Looking far in the distance in the woods, he sighed but instead in a dejected tone, it was amusement lingering in the air. "Huh, hide and seek I see."
Run! Run!
Fatigue overwhelmed their body as ragged and unstable patterned of breathing filled through the empty air in this isolated woods that never seem to end like a labyrinth of maze—sweat trailing down their forehead and neck, wide opened eyes growing heavy but ears never faltering from any incoming noise that could be danger.
A torn out piece of your dress had been thrown to the trail they just came from a few minutes ago—all just to lure in the demons away from you.
"Agh!"
"Chaewon!"
The girl fell onto her hands after stumbling upon a laid branch on the ground—yelping in pain as fresh wound on her leg pools out a small amount of blood.
"Are you okay?!" Jungwon knelt down to inspect the wound.
"It's n-nothing—" stuttering and gulping on her throat as she snapped her head to the distance from where they just came from. "We gotta h-hurry, Jungwon."
Frightened, frightened they were as they took each others' hands, heels continuing to sprint forward and away from the devil himself.
Racing forward as faster as they could with their hands interlaced tightly than ever—suddenly a silhouette came into their line of vision—ultimately stopping them right in their track.
"Ah fucking finally!"
Outburst of joy and a series of whistles echoes through the air, those that sang a sheer melody of danger.
"Found you two! Ugh— do you think there's a way out of this place? Dumb you are, aren't you?" Yeonjun sing sang.
The boys gathered around the two, snickers and giggles emitting up in the air – the bluish grey sky that signify morning’s about to come.
The two hissed not knowing what to do at this point; fighting won't be in their favour as they were outnumbered.
Cautious eyes watching each others' every shift of movement.
—Leaves crinkling!
Heels sprinting into the opposite direction resulting in one of the boys' abrupt shift of position, preventing the girl from escaping.
“Where do you think you’re going, huh?!” Taehyun raised his eyebrow, licking his candy in the process.
Kai giggled, a smirk splattered on his face, “Fuck, what a waste of time. Just give up, will you? I could’ve used my time to practice right now!”
“Bitch who cares?!” Chaewon scoffed, eyes and eyebrows widened in such a way as if to mock the younger boy before her, “You could’ve been dead and I won’t give a fuck!”
Her head snapped to the boy she grew to love this entire time.
“And you? How dare you. How fucking dare you? You messed up our family and I did nothing but to believe you!” punching her chest on repeat as she gritted her teeth, wanting nothing but for the boy to understand her pain but she know he won’t.
For the disinterested look in his eyes never ceases to amazed her in a frightening way. Why she’ve never noticed all this time? Was she really too blind?
“Don’t you fucking touch her!”
“Huh? Do you actually think you’re excluded? How stupidd!” Taehyun punched the shit out of Jungwon which causes him to stumble backwards to one of the trees however Jungwon didn't back down without a fight.
Downright chaos erupts as Jungwon threw a hard punch at Taehyun, hands tugging and nails digging in each others' skin—fighting and fits of screams and yelling at top of each others' lungs.
Soobin ushered Yeonjun and Beomgyu to hold the Chaewon down and they did so without much hesitance as they begin to approach her.
And yet, the two won't give up and the horrendous cycle repeats over a dozen times.
Chaos, chaos—a downright spiral of madness.
Heeseung only stood there to watch the chaos he himself had created and he wasn’t the least affected by it. How funny, he thought.
At last, the pair were separated from each other; their arms caged in such a way that only their legs could kick in the air in a pathetic attempt.
The clicks of his leather shoes crinkled the sea of leaves beneath him as he approached them.
"What's so hard about staying away from her? Why are you so fucking stubborn, huh? Was it too hard?" Heeseung bend down to their level with his face screaming a twisted expression and the dried blood on his forehead wasn't helping either.
Twirling the knife between his dainty fingers, humming a song within the depths of him of what should he do with them.
Whose thread of life should he rip apart? Whose heart should he pierce with the sharp edges of this weapon in his grasp? Should it be one or two? Should he spare their lives or not?
Those are the questions that run through his mind and yet, and yet— Heeseung couldn't care less about their pathetic heartbeat as he stared at the two with absolute contempt.
Grey, clouded skies.
As the round source of light refuses to rise,
Those round of life finally fade out of sight.
Blood, blood at last adorned the skies.
Through the silence of the deep woods, leaves beneath goes roaring with every hum escaping from the young man's twisted grin as the soul within his grasp had by now perished to the sky.
“Told you to stay away from her, bastard.” burying the corpse under the ground, relieved that another pest was out of his sweet darling’s life. "Just what's so fucking hard about that."
Low, low sigh of relief. What wonderful day it is.
[ 4:08 AM ]
Woods.
The burning marks of the branches hitting your skin kepts reminding you that this was reality, this wasn’t a dream nor a wild imagination you had while you were having a nap in your sweet home, on your sweet bed. That this would all end after the clock strikes signifying that dinner is ready and you’ll go downstairs, to eat with your mother, father and sister like always.
Yet, you could only hope.
Church. Another abandoned church came into view. It caught your attention.
You sprinted to the nearby abandoned church that came into sight out of nowhere, in this vast and isolated place. Panting, you pushed open the huge main wooden door and use up all your efforts to close it off.
The roaring clap of thunder made you jolted in surprise, the grey cloud sky mocking you with it’s relentless raindrops.
You gulped nervously, striding off to the aisle, eyes darting around in complete anxiety. You cant breathe but you must breathe and yet, you were catching that breathe that seems to go away everytime you reach for it. The dusty air were mixing with your panic breath, it’s only presence that were heard in this silent place was you and your breathe.
Without further hesitance, you turned on your phone — the object that holds the key to your freedom and yet also holds the sword to mercilessly chop off the wings of your freedom.
This cold and hard object that has been the start of everything, the one that bears the story of the fallen fruit, the fruit that you’ve eaten and therefore had summoned the serpent himself.
You hated this, you regret it, you wanted to scream and pray for everything to end all at once, this object that has been in the grips of your hands for awhile and the mocking result was the overbearing print mark of it’s edges gracing your palms. You don’t want think much anymore, you don’t want to for there’s only one thing, only one thing you wanted so bad to do.
To save yourself! You wanted him to go away! To get rid of your unfortunate red thread with him that has been now stained with so much blood, those that scream insanity and morals of his that made your stomach churned in utter disgustment.
The emergency dial — you tap, tap, tap and so on however your slippery fingers as the result to the mixture of the rain and sweat was making you pressed all the wrong digits for eternity.
You gritted your teeth in pure annoyance wanting to throw off your phone, but you can’t.
You can’t, you can’t, you know you can’t.
You have to call for help before they can get you, before he can find you, before your tear-stained and burning eyes drowned even more in this hell called him.
You took a huge deep breathe, your nose sniffing the dusty air of this abandoned church. Looking up, your eyes met those soulless eyes of the holy statue that everyone knelt before, prayed to their heart’s content and begged for when disaster or tragedy befalls upon them.
Worn out and devastated you were as you finally gotten the right number but it was out of line because of the once soft rain that turns into roaring thunderstorm. How unfortunate you were, (Name).
Bawling in tears is what you did, your voice broke and you choked on your saliva as you fall on your knees, weeping silently in your pathetic form and without much thought, your feet bring itself to kneel before the holy statue itself.
The sky that was supposed to had been adorned with the sunrise has now hid due to the grey clouds forming and mingling together, and raindrops returned to it’s glory and within a few seconds.
Lightning strikes and along with it thunder roared. An ominous sign that never ceases to fear you to your core.
But you still keep praying in silence.
Pray, pray. They said pray when you need something, pray when you want to be grateful, pray when you need guidance — pray, pray and pray. That’s what you did, you whispered yelled in the oblivion of your prayers like a repeated broken radio.
Holy sweet grail, holy sweet love.
And yet as you were begging for the enormous holy statue before you, deep you were into your despair of oblivion, you failed to notice the silent and grim arrival of the boy who had you as his image of goddess and love, his lover, his one and only, his soulmate.
Feathery like steps that were left unheard as he approaches and halts behind your praying form.
No amount of prayer would make this incarnation of devil himself to refrain away from you for you had been a part of him since the day he declared so.
“What are you praying for?”
Sheer sound of deathbell in a disguise of an angel’s voice, you whipped your head to the boy in question and no words could express the utter fear in your body upon laying your eyes on his angelic features yet sinister smile on his cherry red lips.
You wanted to scream, yet your breathe were caught on inside the depths of your heart, you couldn’t move yet your shivering nails dug the carpeted aisle, resulting in a sound of like when you tap your laptop’s keyboard.
Heeseung seems to be amused at your reaction, lovesick eyes spiraling into madness as he looks you up and down, eyes that adores every inches of you — bending over to be as close to you as he wishes, this grim situation were eating you alive and yet to him, it was a breathe of satisfaction and achievement.
His dainty fingers that were stained with dry blood made it’s way to the locks of your hair, brushing it in a soft and loving manner, his dark gaze never leaving yours, never breaking nor faltering.
His face graced with dried blood that you knew belongs to him—a menacing glint of the metal object he was holding, his exquisite suit holding the flattering rose that only holds a sweet nightmare for you from now on. His lush black hair sticking to his forehead due to the efforts he had gone through for you, his doe eyes overflowing with loyalty and immense affection for you.
Feverish eyes that held so much madness in its depths. Then you notice his blood stained hands which made your breath hitched.
You couldn’t talk.
He hummed utterly delighted that he found you as he approached you—grabbing you to his side.
"Have fun running around like the doll you are?"
Heeseung yanked you playfully like a mere ragdoll, laughing so hard, bliss splattered on his face. Mouth wide, big grin and eyes crinkled like half moons. His lush wavy hair were drenched by the raindrops and yet it’s still so fluffy. His eyebrows furrowed in complete amusement—eyes so lovesick and so sadistic. Blood from god knows whom painted over his rosy cheeks.
Mixing altogether in a perfect shade.
But nothing can be more perfect as this breathtaking sight that he was patiently waiting for are now standing before him—all his to take.
A silly grin adorns his lips, "But still, it's kinda amusing how you think you can escape so easily with your dead friends."
“W-what—?”
“Hm?” Heeseung brushes his finger over his cheek, seemingly satisfied over the red liquid on the tips of his fingers, “Try to guess, who do you think it belongs to?”
You stumbled backwards but he managed to pull you back by wrapping his arms around your back, you shivered within his touch — compared to his big stature, you were smaller and weaker. Yet that wasn’t in the least of your worries right now as your mind were running through that one and only question.
“W-who?..” your face contorts into the deepest form of despair, lips trembling.
“Why don’t you guess? Is it your lovely sister, Chaewon? Or my friend, Jungwon? Or your bestfriend, Chaeryeong? Or is it our dead buddy, EJ?!”
Your world shattered over and over again.
“Guess who? Of course, we only had Chaewon and Jungwon right? Oh god, only if you weren’t such a brat and listened to me like the obedient girl you were then it wouldn’t have gone this far! Now who do you think i’ve skinned alive?! Or possibly crack their dumb brain until it spilled off for trying to take you away from me!”
You screamed in pure horror, mouth gaping in attempts to heal the overflowing wound in your heart— fingers curling to cupped your mouth.
"It's all your fault, babe. Only if you listened to me earlier."
“How dare you! You’re fucking insane! You’re insane, you’re fucking insane!” Yelling at the top of your lungs you did as you punched him on his chest on repeat.
Lightning and thunder roared into it’s highest void yet.
“WHO? HOW DARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS TO ME?” you screamed and screamed, “if you touch them, if you fucking touch them i swear, i swear—”
“Swear what?” Heeseung raises his eyebrow, “(Name), darling! Don’t you think it's too late to threaten me like this? But I don’t mind, it’s so cute seeing you so weak and helpless. It makes me want to protect you even more–”
“Don’t touch me!” you yank his arm away, walking backwards away from him.
Gripping your white dress, you shut your eyes. “WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?! Why you didn’t follow what you said, you told me as long as the timer don't end, you won’t do it anything! So why?! Why did you kill him?! WHY DID YOU KILL EJ?!”
A glint appears in Heeseung’s eyes which you weren’t able to fathom what it was as it soon dissipates into the dark deep void and instead that same smirk adorns his cherry lips again and giggles soon follows.
“Hm? I've never said I'd play fair.”
You hissed in bitterness. That's right, why did you ever thought he'd play fair?
“Why?..— why are you so damn cruel to me, huh? You said you love me then why are you doing this to me? What kind of love is this?! This is not love at al!”
An eerie silence forms in the void of this church.
“It’s not love? You still don’t understand, do you?” Heeseung pouted, but his eyes had pain lingering in it, “What should I do to prove my love for you? I fucking killed them all and you told me it isn’t love? I hate it so much when people stick to you like a damn pest and you’re telling me it isn’t love? I stayed patient even when you go around like a dumb slut, touching other bastards as if you weren’t mine, being so fucking oblivious but yet so adorable and you’re telling me it ISN’T LOVE?!”
The ground beneath you seemed to sway under your feet as the fear emitting from this boy was too ominous, too big, too dangerous.
And before you could try to avoid his grasp, he pulled you in closer to his embrace.
“Look at us! You and I, in this world — nothing could tear us apart anymore!” His words gets even more maniacal with every passing second. “Look, look! The the ring I specially made for you, the dress i’ve been dying to see you on, your goddamn face that I couldn't even fucking forget for a second”
His finger lovingly stroke your cheek, “So fucking gorgeous, fucking sweet, adorable. All mine, all mine! After all that patience i’ve been through, all that troubles I've willingly put myself in just so I can have you like this in front of me, you had the guts to tell me it wasn't love?"
Remaining silent you did as you were horrified by everything he says to you—he was far too inside his inner world of chaos.
Your hands trembled frantically within his grasp and he felt that, scoffing so slightly as he raised it up to his cherry lips—planting an affectionate kiss on the top of your hand which had you frozen.
However his short and brief kiss turns into a rabid mode; like a starving mad dog feeding on your skin.
Eliciting a pure scream of horror, you struggled to pull your hands and arms away from his teeth and lips and even when you use your little bit of strength left in continuously hitting him with your left hand—your efforts were to no avail as his hands caged yours within his suffocating grasp.
"Stop! Stop!"
Your outcries of disgust engulfed the entire church like an echoing choir, still everything fell to deaf ears for the boy himself as he continued his morbid and disgusting deeds to you—his tongue licking every inch of your hand, teeth biting and sucking your fingers.
You were forced to witness it before your eyes, feel it against your skin and still so helpless and frail before him.
Heeseung finally let go of your hand, his face twisted in such a way that screams absolute satisfaction and exhilaration itself.
Feeling your hands that has been violated for god knows how long, you yelled at the top of your lungs at him, "YOU'RE INSANE!"
You had nothing left to say anymore; mind empty and broken, eyes strained with so much tears and your body aching with all that had happened.
Yet, the boy before you wasn't even the slightest done with you at all.
Heeseung laughed, "My darling, it’s only wise that I ask for something I deserve, hm?”
You didn't understand what he said, confused you were but then the realisation dawned on you. "Wh-what do you mean? Stay away!"
Your eyes widened in utter horror upon understanding his words, stomach churning into throbbing pain when his hand tries to tugged down the sleeves of your dress.
“No! N-no! Get off me— get off me!” You thrashed around, kicking him to his chest which made him stumble backwards. "Heeseung, let go! I beg of you!
Yet, he only laughed. "No, darling. I must be making it sooo hard for you to understand my love for you isn't?"
You panted, you screamed, you whimper — all because of fear, all because of what he’s about to do to you in this isolated church.
Heeseung crashed his lips into yours within a blink of an eye.
A long and deep, hungry kiss that left your lungs burn in pure pain of suffocation. Your hand slapping his back, pulling his hair and scratching his neck, doing everything you could to pry him off away from you and yet it lasted so long that your feet lose it’s footing making you fell on the floor on your but with a loud thud and yet—
And yet, his arms wrapped around your waist never loses its grip and foremost, his lips never leaves yours. Your eyes begun to teared up due to this harsh kiss of his, no, this isn’t a kiss.
It felt like he was devouring you — his prey, alive— wanting nothing but to taste you deeper and deeper till he can get ahold of your soul to taste it as well.
Someone! Help! Drowning in your despair you did as you were forced to feel every inch of him.
He pulled back at last and you catched for the air that was there for the entire time however before you can do even more so, he gripped your jaw with his long and dainty fingers — forcing you to meet his oh so innocent like eyes that scream pure horror of insanity and twisted love.
“Now who’s gonna save you from me, hm?”

Demon! Felix x Reader
Yandere! Demon! Lee Felix x Reader
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3
Summary: You come from a family of demon hunters, born to carry out your parent’s legacy. When a simple mission escalates rapidly, how will you be able to this demon?
Warning(s): Obsessive Themes, Violence, Gore, Death, Emotional Trauma, Profanity, etc
< In no ways do I condone this type of behavior!! This is purely meant to be a fictional representation of said person/character :) >
Word Count: 14.1k
You were paralyzed, frozen in place. You just stared at the empty couch, unable to register what just happened. This couldn’t be…right? “Felix?” You asked into the quiet. Slowly, you stumbled towards the couch, kneeling beside it. “Felix?” You asked again.
“I told you he wouldn’t be happy,” Jisung leaned in the doorway, his eyes narrowing on you. “Seems as though he wasn’t as hurt as we thought either, hmm?” He continued. You silently looked at Jisung. You had no idea what to do now. You were paralyzed. That’s when you realized. There should be weapons here. The least you could do is drive away Jisung. You immediately made your way over to your weapons stash. Jisung just stood in his place, amused by your sudden searching.
“Darling you might’ve been able to wound Felix but I’m much stronger than him,” He chuckled lightly. You firmly gripped a knife and a flask of holy water in your hands. “And yet I’m still going to try.” You were surprisingly calm about it all. Even as helplessness swirled inside of you. You faced Jisung, splashing the holy water and then immediately charging at him with the knife. Jisung merely ducked beneath the water, an umbrella simply appearing in his hand to block most if not all of the deadly substance. While running you could’ve swore you saw Felix flash in Jisung’s spot and replace him. You hesitated. Damn Jisung and his illusions. But you couldn’t raise your knife willingly against Felix either. You stood there silently, knife in hand, not knowing what would happen now.
“You’re weak,” He hissed, his eyes glittering that rosy color he always possessed. He took a few steps toward you until he stopped a reasonable distance where he was close yet still far enough to dodge damage if needed. His face contorted to a more lovesick expression and a smile wiped itself across his lips before he seized both your wrists and shoved you into the wall behind. You shrieked, your back connecting with the harsh wall. The knife you were holding clattered to the floor once again, but not without leaving a scrape on his arm. Your body shook, looking into his face when he wore such an expression. You tried struggling against his hold, but he was obviously stronger, and you still hadn’t regained all of your strength, potentially from your soul having been in Hell until recently.
“I’ll kill him, and then I’ll kill you.” His fingers dug into your wrists at a sickeningly slow pace until blood began to bubble and slowly drip down your arms. “How does it feel?” You had looked back up only to find Minho staring back at you now. “Knowing that I’m dead?” He cocked his head to the side. You grit your teeth, body trembling. You had to hold back a whimper from the pain. “Honestly?” You sucked in a breath, “ I’m glad.” You said quietly. “I’m glad you don’t have to see just how much of a bastard this little demon called Jisung really is.” Brave words in a helpless situation. “Awfully bold of you to think you could say something like that,” his facade dropped and he morphed back into his own skin. “We’ll see if you still feel the same way after—“ A whiplike cord emerged from the ground, whirling around Jisung’s throat and within a split second, yanked the demon downward into the ground with a loud crash. Jisung’s grasp on your wrists released as his whole body was thrown down onto the hardwood.
You gasped in surprise, stumbling a little as Jisung’s hold on you ceased. “Felix?” You asked into nothingness. It had to be him. You felt so relieved he was here. But also guilty. After all, this was your fault in the end. You had been the one who trusted the fake Minho, blinded by your own wishes. You bent down to grab the knife again, wincing when you saw your wrists still bleeding. “Fuck—“ The tendril didn’t cease to coil around Jisung’s neck, effectively suffocating him while keeping him pinned to the ground. His hands were attempting to rip off the cord from his throat, his attention now off of you. You could feel fury welling up in you again. All that Jisung had done, he had toyed with you and your feelings, he betrayed Minho, and he hurt Felix. You felt no mercy for him anymore. Grabbing the knife tightly, you walked over to where Jisung was straining on the ground. You could end it quickly now. Just as you were about to swing the knife down a bright spark ignited from the ceiling. This passage zipped open from a thin line, and none other than Changkyun stepped through.
“I see someone’s been misbehaving.” He shook his head, his foot nudging Jisung’s face. “And I see you haven’t been telling the truth.” He eyed you. You turned to Changkyun, knife still raised. “I didn’t lie to you.” You had told half truths, but you hadn’t outright lied. “What are you doing here?” You cocked an eyebrow towards him. This was bad. This was very bad. Your knife may work against demons like Felix and Jisung, but you had no idea if it would be effective against a sin if push came to shove. “Jisung was in danger,” he made quotes with his fingers. “It’s a teacher to student bond thing,” he waved his hand, looking down at Jisung. “Dumbass,” he glowered. “What exactly is happening around here?” Changkyun leaned his shoulder against the wall.
“Nothing,” a deep voice cut in. Who had just appeared sitting beside Jisung? Felix. His face was still a bit cut up from scratching at the blisters but he still wore a stoic expression, his grip on Jisung still holding strong. You raised your eyebrows. “Didn’t peg you to be the caring type. Or is it curiosity?” You were so relieved at seeing Felix, you almost let your guard down to go and hug him, but stopped yourself. Jisung was still in stabbing distance and a part of you still wanted to do it, but that might actually set Changkyun off. He was just too unpredictable. “Of course not,” Changkyun laughed. “He’s not my responsibility. He did this to himself,” he shrugged. “I just came to watch, but I found something much more interesting,” he proceeded. You instinctively stepped a little closer to Felix, fiddling with the knife in your hand. “And that would be?” Felix’s words echoed in your head that sins tended to be more powerful in the real world. Hopefully he would leave without trying to mess with you.
“I mean it’s not everyday that you stumble upon a situation like this,” Changkyun chuckled. “You find your student suffocating on the floor, a famous hunter, and of course another prince.” His eyes settled on Felix. “I assume Jisung did that to you,” Felix merely scoffed, his eyes going back to Jisung, giving his neck an extra hard squeeze. You looked at Changkyun again. “Famous hunter?” You asked incredulously. There was no way you were known to demons like this, right? He was just exaggerating. You looked to Felix again. He appeared to be badly injured, though it seemed as though he was healing already. You spun the knife around again, nervous energy bubbling up inside of you. “I mean, you’re not just any hunter are you?” Changkyun popped himself off the wall and brushed past Felix. “You wouldn’t happen to have a special history?” His eyes glinted with a spark of violet. You frowned, “I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to hint at.” Your eyes warily followed Changkyun as you stepped closer to Felix. A part of you really wanted to hold him, but considering his injuries and your current guests, that seemed like a bad idea.
Changkyun’s eyes seemed to drift in the direction of your room. Maybe it was by chance or coincidence? He had never been here before. “I can see it dear, you can’t hide it from me.” His hands slid into his pockets. You followed his gaze. What could he be seeing that he was talking like this? Or was he bluffing? “What exactly am I supposed to be hiding from you?” You did a mental tally of objects that could potentially be of interest to him. Your parents and their studies of Felix? The weapons? Otherwise you couldn’t think of anything else that could be in your room. You only had some books and decorations there, including that tacky golden comb you once received from your parents. But why would that interest him? “Seems as though you have a tendency to lie then,” Changkyun stepped past both of you and headed toward your room.
Felix shot you a perplexed look, standing up and already beginning to follow Changkyun. You followed Felix, looking at him and shrugging. You were just as clueless. The moment all three of you, including Jisung who had been dragged there by Felix, arrived in your room, you turned to Changkyun. “Okay, care to explain what exactly I’m supposed to be hiding from you now?” You knit your brows together. “This? Perhaps?” Changkyun’s hand dug through one of your drawers to pull out the comb you had received from your parents. “You really don’t have any idea what this is?” Changkyun’s shoulders slumped in complete confusion. You looked at Changkyun incredulously. “That.. is a comb?” You shrugged. “It’s just a comb I got from my parents, what else could it be?” You looked at Felix before looking at Changkyun again. “Or are you just trying to stall time?” Your eyes narrowed toward the sin.
“Why the fuck would I use a comb to stall time,” Changkyun squinted at you. “I could easily kill both of you but that’s not— This isn’t just any stupid comb!”
“How should I know what kind of things you’re planning this time?” You looked at the comb again. “Do not know anything about your mother—?” he stopped himself abruptly. It was kind of an odd comb, but you had assumed it was simply old. “What was that about my mother?” You pressed. Did Changkyun know your mother? Had he done something to her? And what in the world did that have to do with a comb? “I—“ Changkyun carded his hand through his hair furiously. “I can’t even believe this,” he rubbed his hands down his face. “I gave this to your mother,” he didn’t meet your gaze when speaking. Upon further inspection he seemed to be embarrassed? You blinked. You looked to Changkyun, then to Felix, and then to Changkyun again. “Wait just a minute. You–” You pointed at him with your knife, “You gave MY mother THIS comb?” You were in pure disbelief. Your mother would never associate herself with a demon, let alone a deadly sin. “Why?” You took some steps toward Changkyun. You were totally dumbfounded. None of this made any sense. Changkyun only let out incomprehensible sounds regaining his posture and standing up straight. “She–” he lifted his head to meet your gaze before letting out a long sigh. “She was my daughter,” he said quickly. “Devil’s grace this is more awkward than having THE TALK with your child.”
You let out a disbelieving laugh. That’s when you realized how genuine, and embarrassed he seemed. “W-wait. So you’re trying to tell me,” you sucked in a breath. “My Mother is YOUR daughter? That… that would mean you’re my,” you choked. “Grandfather?” This was so far from what you had expected. You looked at Felix again, almost hoping he would tell you Changkyun was lying. You weren’t actually related to a demon. Right? “By Hell I—“ Changkyun walked out from the room. “This isn’t what I came here for either,” he shook his head. Felix just stood there with a dumbfounded expression. What had just happened? You’re part demon now? “So, does that mean—“ Felix couldn’t even ask the question himself. It seemed so preposterous. “I… uh.” You were dumbfounded. Just like Felix and Changkyun apparently. You had known your mother was kind of secretive about her family, but you would have never expected something like that. You and Felix exited your room shortly after Changkyun. Right. Jisung was still there.
A thought popped into your head. “If I’m part demon, wouldn’t that manifest itself somehow?” You already knew holy water didn’t affect you, but was there anything else demonic about you? Something that could maybe prove this mess? “Maybe it's different for you?” Felix shrugged, looking down at the exasperated Jisung. “Now who’s weak, bitch.” Felix kicked Jisung’s arm. Changkyun was attempting to process what he’d just discovered. He shouldn’t have come. He most definitely shouldn’t have come. He always had a weird feeling about you but he never knew it’d be like this. You helplessly shrugged. Your gaze fell on the marks Jisung left on your forearms. Seemed like your healing was also human, the marks had just stopped bleeding. You still couldn’t believe any of this. There had to be some kind of mixup or something. There was no way Changkyun was actually your mother’s father. A loud thunderclap startled you. Looking through the window you saw it had begun to storm. There was a lot of lightning. It was really distracting. “Can you not?” You huffed jokingly looking toward the storm. Almost as if the weather was at your command, the thundering skies ceased and the clouds rolled back to reveal the sun. Felix gave you a look beyond disbelief. “Alright. If this is some sort of fuckass illusion I’m snapping your neck,” Felix wound the tendril tighter to the point where you could see Jisung turning blue. You looked, baffled between the now blue sky, Felix and the choking Jisung. You wouldn’t put it past him to pull such a joke, but your gut feeling was telling you something different. You looked at Changkyun. Wouldn’t he be able to tell who did that maybe? But then again, you, controlling the weather somehow? It was such a ridiculous thought, there was no way that could be true, right? Though today had already been full of ridiculous reveals When Jisung didn’t retort Felix relaxed his grasp on him, though, he was sure to keep an eye on him. Jisung gasped for air, his body sinking after holding so much tension from quite literally being suffocated.
“Did you?” Felix turned toward you. “I.. I’m not sure? Maybe?” Your voice rose in pitch at the end, a little bit of helplessness in your voice. “What if I’m really part demon?” You asked Felix. “What does that mean?” Your brows knit together in thought, twirling a finger around your hair. You looked at Changkyun again. How much had he even known about his daughter? “I mean, if we really are related then yes, you are part demon.” Changkyun stepped toward you, his previous embarassment washed away and was replaced with a stern look. “I should’ve kept better track of her,” he rubbed a hand down his face. “I’m a horrible father.” Somehow Changkyuns words made you laugh. It was a slightly hysterical laugh, the whole situation so utterly ridiculous. “Well.. she did marry a hunter, makes it seem like she wasn’t so happy about her dad” You commented wryly. You were still trying to wrap your mind around the whole situation. This demon right there, currently freaking out. The literal embodiment of the deadly sin Envy - Was your grandfather?
“Just kill Jisung so I can leave,” Changkyun waved his hands around frantically. He seemed awfully embarassed about the whole situation and with you bringing up his daughter’s— your mother’s marrige he didn’t exactly know what to think now. It was almost as if you could see the gears turning in Felix’s head. He wore a flat expression until an imaginary lightbulb went on in his brain. “If you’re a half demon AND you’re a hunter what does that mean now?” It was a little amusing seeing Changkyun squirm like that. Turning to Felix you giggled, upping the dramatics. “Oh, wretched creature that I am, fated to hunt the evils in the dark, only to succumb to their evil myself. I will have to end this miserable life.”With a dramatic gesture you ended your speech. Your expression turned neutral again. “Actually, I don’t have the slightest idea. Does the one responsible for all of this know?’ You asked, turning to face Changkyun. “I’m not responsible for your mother’s poor choice in men,” Changkyun curtly shrugged. “Speaking of,” he almost seemed adamant about asking. “Where is she? Do you know?” You scoffed at Changkyun’s answer. You had to think, when did you talk to your parents the last time? Right. When you thought you were going to die because of Felix, Chan and the Reaper. You winced. “Well… the last time we talked they were planning to go on holiday I think?” It made you wonder. When did Changkyun see your mother the last time?
“Hmm.” Changkyun drew his lips into a thin line. “Well,” he took in a breath. “Felix seems to have Jisung under control,” he looked down at his student who was still on the floor, his fists balled beside him and eyes glowering dangerously. “Yeah yeah grandpa you can leave.” Felix waved at Changkyun, giving Jisung a slap across the face to which he growled at. Changkyun shrugged, simply slinking back into the ground as if he hadn’t been there at all. You touched your forearms again at the mention of Jisung. They were still bleeding, but it wouldn’t be the worst you’ve endured. “So.. what now?”
“Let’s kill him,” Felix’s eyes glinted with malice and excitement? As the shadow wound tighter and tighter around Jisung’s neck and a sickeningly slow pace. You looked at Felix with concern. Jisung really should die, but you could practically feel the bloodlust radiating from Felix. “We should make it fast” You murmured, grabbing the knife again. You looked at Felix and then back at the writhing Jisung. “Any last wishes?” You asked quietly.
“Fuck you,” Jisung spat before he abruptly lifted himself up from the ground, Felix’s hold on him faltered. Jisung took this opportunity to shift into none other than Felix. It was a blur as the two identicals wrangled eachother, shadows yanking at limbs while they both threw punches and curses at eachother. “Kill him!” One screamed as he was pushed to the floor. You stood there, paralyzed, looking between the two demons. Of course it had to come to this. Now you needed some way to who who was who. You tried to discern anything while they were fighting, but they were both so fast. Now one was on the floor, the same fury and hatred their eyes. You hesitated. If only there was something you could do. You were feeling helpless, and you hated it. Eventually one Felix slammed the other into the floor, practically sewing the other into the ground with shadows. “Please,” the one on the floor croaked, his hands balled beside him. “I swear I’m not—“
“He’s lying,” the other growled, his eyes portraying a blistering red color. You looked back and forth between the two Felixs. They looked practically identical. And you had been fooled by Jisungs illusions before. Maybe there was a way to discern who was the real one. You knelt beside the pinned ‘Felix’, whispering so the other wouldn’t hear. “What happened the first time we met?” But you couldn’t let your guard down. If that was the real Felix you were unguarded against Jisung. You just hoped that this would work; that the real Felix would remember. “I— Is this really a question you’re asking right now?” The Felix jerked his arm upward, attempting to release himself. “I don’t remember— I was feeding?” He cocked an eyebrow at you. While he did somewhat get the answer right he didn’t seem very sure. You couldn’t tell. You frowned. This wasn’t very telling. You paced back and forth. What to do, what to do? You looked at the two Felixs again. There had to be something you could do, right? You were at your wits end. You felt so alone in that moment, caught in things you couldn’t handle. You could feel a tear running down your cheek. The Felix on the ground found a sudden burst in strength, ripping the shadows off from his limbs and jumping up to tackle the opposing Felix. “Faker!” He spat, “Stop with the stupid circus tricks.”
“Man you’re really getting into this,” Felix rolled his eyes, a small smile beginning to pull at his lips. “I still don’t believe it.”
“Why can’t the both of you just stop?” In a lapse of self destructive decision you stepped towards the two fighting demons, trying to get in between them. You were tired of all this fighting, and so frustrated. Almost immediately Felix reeled backward, his hands pulling off of the opposing Felix. Felix scoffed and pulled himself off of the ground. “Brat.”
“Says you, gremlin.” He snickered under his breath. “Are you done with the mind games now?” You asked tiredly. Your mind was at a breaking point, and with all that had happened in the past days, you were a second away from falling onto the next bed to cry for days. You could barely think straight. All that drama, the mind games and the fighting wearing you down to the bone. You were swaying, struggling to even stand at this point. “At this point I’m just about ready to say shoot me even if I am the real one.” Felix coughed, his eyes burning into the opposing Felix.
“Jisung I know you’re heartless but at least fight me without getting someone else involved,” He folded his arms. You looked to the one Felix, then to the other. You were so tired of this. You were starting to think you knew who the real Felix was, but all the possibilities were hurting your head. You could feel your vision swim, getting blurry. You knew you were about to faint. “Catch me” You mumbled, before blacking out. Felix lurched forward, shoving the other aside with a shadow while simultaneously lunging to catch you in his arms. “Screw you,” Felix spat before plunging himself down into a portal. It was a risky move and he didn’t know if you’d travel with him or not. It was a short distance, just 3 miles away from your house at a small open area in the forest. When he rose up from the ground and found you in his arms he exhaled a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding. “I’m sorry,” his head hung low, looking down at your resting face. His fingers swiped at stray hairs that clung to your face. It took some time, but after a while you came to again. Slowly opening your eyes, you flinched seeing Felix. Looking around more, you saw that it was just one Felix, and that this was not your house anymore.
“Please tell me you’re the real Felix? Can you prove it somehow?” You were sounding incredibly tired, wearily blinking your eyes into focus. “I— Do you think Jisung would really catch you from falling and not kill you when you passed out?” Felix cocked his head at you in a questioning manner. “How do I prove this—? Ugh.” Felix racked his brain for something only he’d know. “I used to enter through your window? I popped down from the ceiling once, I got a scar from the time you knicked me with your knife/holy water— shall I go on?”
“I’ve just been fooled to many times already in this short time” You sighed. “But thanks for doing that.” You smiled at Felix. “I’m so so sorry for everything that happened.” You trailed off, averting your gaze from Felix. “I feel like everything’s my fault…” You leaned your face into your hands.
“It’s not your fault, it’s Jisungs.” Felix rubbed your back hesitantly. “I should be sorry, I’m the one who lost control of myself.” He scratched at his scalp. “If I was just a little more in control this wouldn’t have happened. But we’ll find Jisung okay? I’ll make sure he won’t bother us— you again.” You leaned into Felix’s touch. “Thank you… for being on my side.” You smiled at Felix, gently touching your forehead against his. “I hope…we’ll get through this.” You began thinking. Was there any way to counter, or maybe suppress Jisungs ability? You had never wanted to kill a demon as much as Jisung.
“I’m sure he’ll eventually show up again. And as much as I hate to say this, we should probably go back to your house. It’s the best shot we have at getting him in a confined space and also having him appear again,” Felix chewed at his bottom lip. “It’ll be dangerous though.” You hummed in agreement. “I guess you’re right, but…” You stifled a yawn. “Could we rest a little first? I’m at my limit” You leaned against Felix for support. It really felt like he was the only thing that grounded you recently.
“Yeah, I was going to suggest we should wait a day or two.” Felix wrung his hands together. “As much as I’ve been here I’m not actually familiar with the area. Are there nearby hotels or someplace where we could stay?” You tilted your head in thought. “Since I don’t think it would be wise to go home and get my stuff, a hotel would probably be difficult…” You thought for another moment. “But I have a friend nearby. A non hunter friend… who could maybe let us crash for a day or two.” You looked at Felix expectantly. “Oh thank Satan,” Felix sighed. “If it was another one of your hunting friends I swear,” he stopped his sentence. “It probably wouldn’t have ended well, with my luck.” He laughed, almost a little forced, his mind going to Minho. You grimaced, knowing exactly what Felix was referencing.
“Yeah, it probably wouldn’t have been good. But he’s a sweet kid, if a little oblivious. And he lives not far from here too.” You slowly got up, stumbling a little still. You were tired, hungry and worn out. Felix instinctively took hold of your arm, helping you stabilize yourself. “Lead the way, I’ll be here.” It felt so good to be with him in uninterrupted peace. It wasn’t a long walk, and soon you stood in front of a simple, cozy looking house in the suburbs. You looked Felix up and down. He was… well, as normal as he could. You were greeted by a smiling face and messy brown hair. “Hey there Jeongin. Can we come in?”
“A-ah yeah! Come in,” he looked up at Felix and then switched his gaze to you warily before opening his door and taking a step backward. “What brings you here so late? N-not that I mind I’m just a bit curious,” he gave a shy smile. “Thanks sweetie.” You smiled gently at Jeongin, politely stepping into his home. “Well, the thing is…” You hesitated for a moment. What should you say? You didn’t really want to lie, but you couldn’t tell Jeongin the truth either. ‘T- there was this.. accident at my house, and now me and my friend Felix” You pointed at the figure beside you. “Can’t sleep there for a new days. I know this is incredibly sudden and all but… would it maybe be possible to crash at your house for a day or two?”
“Yeah of course! I have room,” Jeongin flailed his hands out of nervousness? You couldn’t tell. His eyes were still fixed on Felix. “Is he your—? Nevermind,” Jeongin shook his head violently. “I’m really sorry to hear about your house. Hopefully whatever happened will get better?” You beamed, “Thank you so much! I’ll pay you back somehow, okay? And yeah, hopefully we’ll be able to go back and fix the problem soon.” You were still smiling brightly at Jeongin. He had always seemed like a sweet younger brother to you. You had tutored him to earn some money on the side, and you developed a friendship out of it. You took off your shoes and followed Jeongin further into his house. “The rooms are sort of small but they’re functional, is that okay?” Jeongin opened two doors that sat across from eachother, revealing identical rooms. They each had a small bed that rested in the corner of the room along with a small dresser and lamp. It was a cute part of the house, and knowing Felix wouldn’t be too far provided some comfort. ‘Theyre great! Again, thank you so so much for this, Jeonginnie,” You stepped closer, opening your arms to envelop Jeongin in a hug. “You’re such a sweetheart.” Were you coddling him a bit maybe? Yes, but you just felt the need. Sometimes you wondered how this little ball of sunshine managed to live alone. His face instantly brightened and he returned the hug sweetly. “Ah, don’t worry about it. You’ve helped me so much, it’s the least I can do. If you need anything let me know okay? I gotta go finish up some dumb report,” he whined before hopping off into his room. You smiled, watching Jeongin scamper off.
“Isn’t he cute?” You cooed, turning to Felix. “And he even easily lets us stay here.” You looked at Felix again. He seemed tired too. “Well, I guess we should actually go and get the rest we need then, right–?”
“He’s an angel.” Felix interrupted, his nose wrinkling. “I don’t know whether to be disgusted or in awe,” He released a long yawn. “See you in the morning?”
You laughed at Felix’s comment, not really taking into account the statement he had just made. “Rest well!” You entered one of the rooms, exhaustedly plopping down onto the bed. You really hadn’t slept through in a while. It made you think of Felix again. Your thoughts were spinning and there was quite a bit of tossing and turning despite your exhaustion, before you sunk into a deep sleep. The next morning you awoke to the sunlight that cascaded down and into your room from the small window above the bed. It was soundless, and it seemed as though the whole house was frozen and still. It was nice to wake up with peace for once. Felix was in the other room awake, staring off into space. He had shut the blinds on the window, plunging himself into near darkness, if not for the light that snaked under his door. He missed spending his mornings like this. You stayed in bed a while longer, simply basking in the peace and quiet. You stretched out your limbs and released a long sigh, you actually felt well rested. Upon opening your door you saw that Felix’s was slightly cracked open, but inside the room it looked completely pitch black. You took just a peak to see inside, only to be met with the sight of a shirtless Felix staring right back at you.
“Good morning,” he laughed, his eyes falling from the crimson color to his regular pseudo brown. You squeaked in surprise, your face burning as you averted your eyes from the shirtless demon. But not before noting that he was extremely toned and there were scars running along his chest. “G-good morning” You stammered, looking at the floor. “You should put on some clothes. I’ll talk to Jeongin and see if I can help him with breakfast.” You turned away, making your way to Jeongins room and gently knocking on the door.
“Kay,” Felix laughed to himself, giving a small wave before shutting his door. He opted to just wearing a simple black t-shirt and shorts. Jeongin didn’t seem to be awake yet, as you could hear him softly snoring through the door. You swore you heard a rustling sound in his room, though, maybe he was just waking up now? “Jeonginnie? I’m coming in” You said, slowly opening the door to give him a chance to protest. You froze upon entering when you’re met with the sight of Jeongin. Wrapped around him were pure feathery white wings. Your first thought was that this was one of Jisungs illusions, and you gasped, backing away in fear. But why would he do that?
The creaking of the door must’ve set something off inside Jeongin, for when you entered he almost instantly shot up from the bed. “A-ah cRAp! I can explain—“ Jeongin bolted up and folded his wings behind his back. His eyes were wide as he just stayed put for a second, debating on what to tell you. “It’s a– costume. From Halloween. But I wanted to use it as a blanket.”
“Are you Jeongin?” You tried to keep the fear out of your voice, but it didn’t quite work. Yoou couldn’t wrap my head around this. This had to be an illusion, right? What else could it be? You thought back to Felix’s comment about Jeongin being an angel. Funny joke. Right? You was so busy panicking you forgot about the flabbergasted male in front of you.
“Yeah its a costume,” Jeongin blinked and suddenly turned his back around to reveal nothing but his bare shoulder blades. Did they disappear out of existance or what? “See? Gone. Costume. Not wings. What wings?” He gave an awkward smile and you could practically see him nervously sweating. “Th-that’s not what i meant.” Your voice was quiet. “I swear to God if this is another one of your illusions Jisung–” You barely held yourself back. You didn’t want to drag Jeongin into this, but what if he already was? What if Jisung has gotten to him? You were panicking, wringing your hands together. Those wings had obviously been no costume.
“Jisung?” Jeongin cocked his head to the side. “Who’s that—?” Jeongin stood up from his bed, walking over toward you in the doorway. “What Jisung are you talking about,” He seemed to have abandoned his embarassed persona and replaced it with a more concerned and serious one. You stepped away from him cautiously, not quite convinced that this wasn’t an illusion. He had fooled you with Minho before.
“I.. Jeongin. Please. Tell me something only the two of us know, okay? Then I can explain things” You wearily watched his every move. Why did he seem so serious now? “You used to tutor me?” Jeongin gave a confused look. “Uh, we’ve known each other for like, a million years now. At 3am we used to talk crap about this one drama everyone liked— Is something wrong?” He looked more confused than ever. I slowly relaxed. Jisung would’nt have known that.
“Thank goodness,” You breathed, wrapping Jeongin in a sudden hug again before letting go. You sighed. “Jisung… is dangerous. He’s the reason I can’t go home right now. And he can very convincingly assume anyone’s appearance and create illusions.” You looked at Jeongin closely again. “So if those wings weren’t his doing… what were they? We both know that’s not a costume.”
“O-oh yeah. These?” His wings poked out from his back again, some feathers drifting off and fluttering toward the ground. “They’re pretty real,” he laughed a bit awkwardly, extending out his right wing to you. “I guess you’re in on the whole ‘Wow! Heaven and Hell are real’ sort of thing?” Jeongin tilted his head at you. You laughed awkwardly. “I could say I’ve got a hell of a lot experience with it.” Your eyes were glued to Jeongin’s wings. They looked so pure and soft, and there was almost a gentle glow to them. ‘They’re so pretty” You hummed. Meanwhile your mind was reeling. So Jeongin really knew? Or rather, he seemed to be actually part of it?
“So,” Jeongin coughed, folding his wings back behind him. “You do know what Felix is, right?” He knit his eyebrows together. “I didn’t want to say anything about it unless you knew but,” he bit his lip nervously. “I think he knows I’m not exactly the average human,” “I… yes, I am aware. I know what– who he is.” You said quietly, your eyes switching toward Jeongin again. “Are you really an angel?” You asked carefully, still in disbelief.
“Oh! Yeah, I am.” Jeongin perked up, a smile crossing his face. “I guess you could say I was sent here to help rid the world of demons— B-but if Felix is nice then, I guess I won’t, you know,” Jeongin laughed awkwardly. “I don’t think he likes me, I think he knows I’m an angel already, hah.” He scratched the back of his neck. “Please tell him not to kill me?” Part of you wondered for a moment. Did he know your grandfather was a demon?
You smiled softly at him. “I really hope you and Felix will get along.” The smile faded. “There’s been far too much fighting already.”
“Don’t worry I won’t kill you squirt,” Felix arose from Jeongin’s shadow, dodging his wings and making his way toward you. Jeongin, who was unaware of Felix’s abilities and the fact that he’d been here he whole time, let out some sort of dolphin like screech of surprise. You knew it. Still, you flinched in surprise at Jeongins scream. “Shh, it’s okay. Felix is just a little shit and likes to lurk sometimes.” Looking back between the angel and the demon, you crossed my arms. “Well… should we get breakfast then?”
“Breakfast sounds good!” Jeonging chirped, already beginning to head down stairs. His wings were folded behind him, his feathers trailing down the stairs as he hopped down. Should you tell jeongin about all that had happened with Jisung? Would he still trust Felix then? And did you really want to involve sweet, innocent angel Jeongin in this? You had no idea about his powers. Or if he had any. You were so lost in thought you didn’t realize you’d been staring at your plate. “You must be really hungry,” Jeongin slid two eggs onto your plate along with a few slices of bacon. Felix snickered at his comment, scrunching up his nose. “I like him already.” You snapped out of your daze at Felix’s snickers.
“So when are you gonna tell them that you’re their guardia—“ Jeongin shoved an uncooked slice of bacon into Felix’s mouth. “Finish that sentence and I will slap the shit out of you.” He hissed quietly, turning toward you as if nothing had been said. “So! How do you like it?” The two of them were whispering again. Well, you were glad they seemed to get along at least. “It’s great!” You smiled at Jeongin.
“So,” you began. “What are we going to do now?”
“That’s up to you,” Felix shrugged. “If you’re ready to go back then I’ll follow. But if you want another day I don’t see why we couldn’t do that too.”Jeongin shrugged. “I don’t mind having company, I like having you guys here.” He smiled sweetly. “Well…” You thought for a moment. “I guess it would be best to… get it over soon?” You proposed. “We can still come back afterwards– hopefully.” You added quietly. You fidgeted a bit in your chair. There was some kind of weird air between the two of them.
“Well, if you need anything I’d be glad to help.” Jeonging pulled a chair beside you, beginning to dig into his own breakfast. “And you’re always welcome to come back!”
You looked at Jeongin with adoration. Even with the realization that he was actually a literal angel, you were still incredibly fond of the boy. Being in a soft mood for once, you snatched a small piece of bacon from Felix’s plate, only to hold it in front of Jeongin.
“Say ahh” You chirped. “W-whaT?” Jeongin’s face flushed to a deep red color. As he was about to, as embarassing as it was, take the bacon from you, a shadow snaked around your arm, aiming your fork toward Felix. His eyes bore into yours sharply as he pulled your hand closer to him, snatching the bacon from you in his mouth. “Mine.” He said, his mouth full. Your own face was burning red now. You could barely comprehend what just happened. You had just been lightheartedly teasing Jeongin, and now your heart was threatening to combust. You spluttered, pulling your hand away from Felix and burying your head in it. You were embarrassed, but a part of you was also extremely giddy. After all that had happened, your dependence on Felix had only grown stronger, and with it, your love for him. Jeongin, meanwhile, had watched the whole thing unfold before his very eyes. “I— okay,” He shrugged, getting up and putting his plate in the sink. Felix only shot you a sly smirk, happily chewing on the bacon. “Rule 1: Never steal a demons food. Even if we technically don’t need to eat,” he laughed. “Noted,” You said as you followed Jeongin toward the sink. “So… how’s life been for you, Jeonginnie?” You started talking with Jeongin, trying for a bit of normalcy and distraction from what had just occured. You couldn’t help but watch Felix happily eat his breakfast from the corner of your eye. He was just so cute.
“Oh! It’s good. My job hasn’t really interfered with my normal life persay so It’s been pretty peaceful. I miss having you around though, obviously,” he gave you a bashful smile. “It’s also nice being able to have my wings out without having to hide them constantly,” he chirped happily, fluttering them a bit behind him. “They get kinda sore if I don’t stretch them out for long.”
“That’s good! Aww, I’ll be sure to try and visit as often as i can then. I’ve missed you too,” you grinned, looking at Jeongins wings. “Never thought I’d see something like this, but they suit you. Hopefully our lives will become peaceful once again soon.” You sighed. Felix finished his breakfast and lazily put his plate in the sink. “Okay!” He clapped his hands together, shadows enveloping his whole before revealing his normal black out attire. “Ready to kill princey boy?” He cracked his knuckles. Jeongin couldn’t help but revel at Felix. “Seriously though what are you—“ he clamped his mouth shut. “Forget it I don’t wanna know. It’ll probably be against some law in Heaven,” Jeongin waved his hand. “Anyways! It’s all up to you,” He turned toward you. “Ready when you are!”
“Well I guess there’s no point in trying to stall.” You just hoped you’d have time to grab a weapon of some sort before Jisung appeared. “Guys. Maybe each of us should have a specific code word or something we can use when Jisung tries to assume the shape of one of us.”
“Smart. How about…” Felix tapped a finger to his chin. “Banana–”
“I-Its a general word and It’d probably surprise him?”Jeongin interrupted Felix. He lowered his voice from the previous scream. “I was thinking something more, I don’t know, sensible? But I guess that’d work too.”
Felix shrugged. “Okay then,” You giggled. Jeongin was so cute. “Sounds good in my opinion. Let’s go then.” The way to your house was a silent one. There was a serious air around you all, and after a while you stood at your doorstep. “Well then, shall we go in?” You asked. “What if he’s not even here?” Jeongin cocked his head to the side. “I guess we’ll wait then…?” Felix shrugged, opening the door and sauntering inside. There goes any element of surprise. The house was silent and empty. Blood stained the floor where Jisung had last been, yet the whole house seemed untouched. You could still remember the whole ordeal that occured with Changkyun here. You shuddered at the memory and hurried over to your weapons stash. Luckily it seemed as though this was also untouched. You grabbed a pair of small knives to at least be armed. You turned to Jeongin and Felix. “I guess now we wait?”
“Yeah I suppose,” Felix took the liberty of flopping down onto the couch, craning his neck back while his eyes glued themselves to the ceiling. “Jisung we’re here to murder you,” he yawned aloud. Jeongin gave a look of horror toward Felix. “You can’t just— why?” He shook his head at the demon. You were already used to Felix’s way of talking, so you paid his macabre comment no mind. You simply sat down next to him. You fiddled with the knives, not yet ready to break the silence. It was some time later when you heard a soft noise. Could that be Jisung? You perked up.
“I’ll go check it out.” Felix stood up, beginning to walk down the hallway. “Jeongin, watch the front door till I’m back, okay?” With that, Felix disappeared into the unlit house. It was unusual to see Jeongin so serious, but he immediately nodded and took position. You were beginning to feel anxious. You stood up and followed in pursuit of Felix, your weapons readied at your sides. Although the sun was out, the house seemed to be dim and cloudy. Light barely traversed through the windows, almost as if some sort of screen was put over them. You could still see though, luckily, as you tried to catch up to Felix. When you turned the corner, assuming Felix had gone into this side room, you were met with nothing. Where had he gone? You slowed down. What was happening? Why was everything so dark? You silently cursed myself, backtracking a little to see if you could spot him somewhere else. Your house wasn’t all that big, but in that moment it almost felt like a labyrinth. Something was very, very wrong.
“(Y/N)?” Felix’s voice bounced through the hallways. It sounded as if he was right beside you, but how could that be? You darted out from the sideroom and back into the hallway. You still saw no trace of him. Growing a bit on edge you turned to return back to Jeongin, only to scream as a dark figure loomed in the center of the hall. “Calm down calm down it’s me,” Felix sighed in relief. “It’s so dark in here I almost got lost,” Your heart was still beating fast in shock, but you were relieved you were seeing him again. You had almost let your guard down when it dawned upon you that this may not be Felix. You hesitated for a moment, looking around before leaning towards Felix.
“What’s the word?” You whispered quietly. “W-what?” Felix raised his eyebrows, laughing a bit awkwardly, before it dawned upon him. His expression fell into a much darker one. “I hate you hunters,” he spat before seizing your arm, hurdling you toward the sideroom. Unsuspecting, you found yourself being propelled into the sideroom. Not a second later he was in the doorway, a psychotic smile painted on his face as he shut the door behind him. When he did, the door seemed to phase into nothing but a solid wall. No exit. Not anymore, at least. You screamed, part in frustration, part in fear. Of course it had been Jisung. Of course. You gripped your knives tight against your palms. You raised your knives in defense. There wasn’t anything else you could do anyway, with him blocking the exit. Time seemed to slow as Jisung approached you. You did the first thing you thought of: Plunging your knife down into his shoulder. Part of you celebrated at the fact that you’d already been a bit successful, until you realized that he wasn’t moving. When you tried to rip your knife away from whatever you had just stabbed it wouldn’t budge.
“Hm. Funny how you just charge in,” Jisung hissed behind you, his breath fanning across the nape of your neck. You let go of the stuck knife, switching the other one into your dominant hand. You slashed at the air towards where he had had left goosebumps on your skin. Jisung ducked right below the blade, his smile never leaving his face as he kicked your legs out from under you. He always seemed to be two steps ahead of you. “You didn’t think it'd be that easy, right?” He cocked his eyebrow and let out a sympathetic chuckle.
“(Y-Y/N)?” A frantic and real muffled voice of Felix echoed through the wall. Jisung’s head snapped up, his expression turning into a scowl. “He always has to interfere doesn’t he,” Jisung clicked his tongue in annoyance. “I’m in the side room on the left with Jisung!” You called out desperately. “We’re all just sick of your games jisung.” You swung your knife again, hoping to keep him busy. It didn’t seem like you would make a hit unless Jisung made some kind of mistake, however.
“Sick of my games—?” Jisung gloated, only to get a shallow knife slash to the cheek. He stumbled back in disbelief, raising a hand to smudge the blood beneath his eye. “Darling, this is no game,” his eyes darkened and the whole mood of the room seemed to drop. It was suffocating. You were triumphant you had gotten him, but the atmosphere made it hard to breathe. You tried to calm yourself, keeping your gaze locked onto Jisung. “What is this then?” You asked, sounding a lot less put together thad you had hoped. What were Felix and Jeongin doing? You weren’t sure how much longeryou’d be able to hold against Jisung.
He seemed to notice your eyes traveling back to the spot where the door was, and a look of sweet sympathy painted his features. “They can’t hear you.” His eyes dropped into a half-lidded expression of pity. “It’s simple.” Jisung stood up, squaring his shoulders. “Felix took away the one thing I loved in my life, so why can’t I do the same?” Your mind was reeling. You had no way out, and if the others had no way in you needed to stall Jisung.
“Wha- what are you talking about? What did Felix do?” You took a step away from Jisung, observing him. He actually seemed hurt. “Felix is a lying, psychotic excuse of a prince. He never deserved that title at all,” Jisung remarked harshly. “All he does is take, learn that now—“ Jisung stopped his ramble suddenly. “Don’t try and stall me with your pathetic questions!” His finger nails dug deep within his palms, and the whole room seemed to quake at his outburst. “It doesn’t matter anymore, you can’t bring them back.” Jisung caught himself from choking up, biting his lower lip. “Why do you think you are any better?” You bit back, flinching at his outburst. “Felix.. killed... someone? Someone who was very dear to you?” You carefully asked. You almost wanted to comfort him but then realized this could be a distraction. Jisung seemed taken aback by your first comment. He always thought of himself higher than Felix, but he never actually dwelled upon the thought.
“I never killed for sport,” Jisung emphasized the word ‘sport’, his words rolling off of his tongue like poison. “He killed her for no reason, other than the fact that she was a hunter.” His voice wavered. His words made you stop. Felix has killed someone very dear to Jisung. And that someone had been a hunter? You were quiet for a moment, just watching Jisung be caught in his emotions. “So.. who– Who did he kill?” You could only remember one person Felix killed. One hunter, which was Minho’s mother. That would be too much of a coincidence, right? But, on the other hand, It would all add up. Why Jisung hung around Minho.
“Surely you know who I’m talking about,” Jisung wiped his hand down his face.m “Minho’s mother, she was like nothing I’d ever seen before,” he sighed, almost as if in some lovesick trance. “He had to ruin that!” Jisung wailed. You couldn’t force yourself to strike him down with your knife now either. You concluded reasoning may be your best option. “Well what do you think Minho’s mother would say if she knew you were trying to kill me–’
“Don’t.” Jisung shook his head violently. “Don’t you dare bring her into this,” He grit his teeth together. “You never knew her the way I did. So don’t try and reason with me.” He spat, his eyes burning into yours like hot coals. “You do know she partnered with my parents a long time. I was at her funeral. I remember her well. Don’t try to tell me I don’t know her because I do.” Your voice was quiet. You knew you had to kill him if you wanted to get out of here alive, but still. Something was holding you back.
“This doesn’t change anything, you can’t bring her back.” Jisung paused, his expression of complete depression uptwisting into some sort of toxic elated one. “Felix won’t be able to bring you back either,” a sullen laugh escaped his dry throat.
“Youre right. Killing me won’t bring her back either. All you’re going to do is create more suffering for yourself, trying to fool yourself into thinking hurting someone else will make you hurt any less.” Your face was pained. You had killed many demons before, why was this so hard?
“Just die already,” Jisung’s voice was hoarse and low, his eyes blazing as the room began to rumble. The ceiling fell through and the walls turned to vices, narrowing agonizingly toward you. In a few minutes you’d be crushed between debris or the enclosing walls. You began to panic, but then stopped. None of this was real, probably. One of Jisung’s illusions, you hoped. Still, you weren’t too keen on testing how real they would feel. You flinched, but took a deep breath. It was now or never.
With a new found determination, you raised your knife up. It dawned upon Jisung that you no longer believed in his trick. He cursed loudly, attempting to run from the situation only to take your knife to his chest. Fuck. He’s never really dealt with this much pain before. Sure, he’s been burned by holy water and choked my Felix but this? Blessed knife skin deep? Not really doing well for him. His hands shook as he looked down at the wound, and then back to you in disbelief. You shaking. The moment the knife sank deep into his skin it was as if a shock ran through you.
“I hope you will find peace Jisung. Rest well.” You mumbled, unable to look at the demon, or the blood on your hands. You twisted the knife, wanting him to die quickly and not suffer for too much longer. “I hate you,” he seethed, the knife plunged deeper into his chest. In a few moments he would take his last breath, his eyes like glass and completely black. Everything seemed to return to normal after then, the door reappeared, the walls no longer crumbled and you could see a disheveled Felix staring straight at you from the reappeared doorway. “I’m sorry.” You whispered, even though you knew he couldn’t hear you anymore. You stopped completely, kneeling over Jisungs corpse, blood on your hands. You had killed again. Only slowly, very slowly did you realize your surroundings, turning towards Felix. He took a hesitant step toward you before full blown running into you, his arms wrapping around you and pulling you into an embrace. He didn’t say anything, still a bit in shock at the fact that Jisung had managed to fool you both. But it was okay right? His eyes lay on the prince’s body, with his lifeless black eyes.
“Its okay,” Felix spoke into the shell of your ear, his hand crading the back of your head. You sank down into Felix’s arms like a marionette with its strings cut. All that stress gone within a second. All your emotions that had been neatly held back by all the fear were now coming back with a vengeance. “It’s okay, you’re okay.” He repeated like a mantra. Jeongin soon found the two of you, beginning to decompose Jisung’s body. He hummed softly into your ear, slowly sinking to the ground with you in his arms. The two of you sat like this for a while until you eventually calmed down.
“D-did you know he had been in love with Minho’s mother?” Was the first thing that left your lips when you had somewhat calmed down. For the first time in what felt like ages, you felt more or less safe again. “I had a hunch,” Felix almost winced at his words, his memories being flooded back to the moment he had killed her. “I didn’t think they were— Minho’s father obviously wasn’t Jisung.” Felix ended his statement in a curt tone. “Not to interrupt the moment,” Jeongin piped up. “excusemylanguage but how badass is it to say that you single handedly just killed a prince of hell, huh?” Jeongin shot you a look of pure proudness. “That’s definitely a ticket to heaven— unless you don’t want to go there but,” he looked back toward Felix who scowled at the mention of the holy place. “I’m gonna stop talking,” Jeongin returned back to blessing Jisung’s corpse. You squirmed uncomfortably under Jeongins praise. “I got lucky.” You giggled at Felix’s face at the mention of heaven. “I.. I’m not sure if it would actually work for me to go to heaven.” You muttered, remembering Jeongin knew nothing of your grandfather. Suddenly, Jeongin whipped around to face the two of you.
“Felix,” he inhaled. “What did you do?”
“I didn’t do anything I swear—“ Jeongin, in seconds, had his hands wrapped around Felix’s neck. Yes, it didn’t hurt Felix, but it was a bit offsetting to see the sweet boy become violent so suddenly. “Wait wait wait, what?” You couldn’t believe your eyes. “Jeongin what are you doing?” You worriedly turned to the boys, trying to gently pry Jeongins fingers from Felix.
“A-Ah I’m sorry, I’m really sorry,” Jeongin’s head hung low. “I just— I thought,”
“You really don’t know?” Felix only cocked an eyebrow at the angel, his neck unbothered by what had just occurred.
“You’re their guardian, what have you been doing for your job—“ Jeongin, yet again, slaps a hand over Felix’s mouth. “Jeongin, speak for yourself.” You got a little quieter, embarrassed at the end. Guardian? He wasn’t actually implying Jeongin was a guardian angel. YOUR guardian angel. That would be ridiculous.
“I thought Felix— you know,” Jeongin hesitated. “I thought he did some demon thing that would make you go to hell or something,” a rosy tint entered his cheeks. “He also wasn’t supposed to say that SO let’s pretend you never heard it,” Jeongin shot you an awkward thumbs up as Felix cackled in the background. Realizing what Jeongin was probably implying, your own cheeks turned a slight pink. “O-oh well, I see…” You scratched your head awkwardly.
“So. Could we maybe get something to eat now?” You proposed.
“That sounds lovely after worrying my ass off about you,” Felix slapped his arm over your shoulder. “You know for an angel I didn’t realize you thought—“
“pLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF–” Jeongin waved his arms around, covering himself with his wings like shields. “Let’s say that conversation never happened. Sound good? Okay! Let’s go eat then,”
“You talk like it was all my fault.” You quipped, leading Jeongin and Felix to the kitchen. “Pasta sound alright?” You asked, trying to distract yourself from your thoughts. The moment Jeongin left the room, you turned to Felix.
“You think Changkyuns gonna make an appearance?’
“Oh dear Satan. Jeongin would have a heart attack,” Felix frowned. “You don’t think Changkyun would kill him right?” Felix almost asked nervously. “Sins definitely do not get along well with angels,” he shook his head. “Also, he’ll sooner or later find out you’re related to a deadly sin.”
“I really hope that won’t happen. And I really don’t want to tell Jeongin either. Like, how would he even react?”
“React to what?” You startled and turned toward a confused Jeongin. “A-ah, nothing important.” A snap of electricity whisked through the air, emitting a supernatural violet. Speak of the sin and he shall appear or what?
“It’s Grandp—“ Changkyun popped up from the ground, only to immediately whip around and face Jeongin. “The fuck is this pest doing here,” Changkyun shot electricity straight toward Jeongin. He yelped in surprise, managing to dive bomb out of it’s way, although not without a few of his feather’s being singed off.
“Stop it!” You yelled, the electricity fizzling out right before destroying your wall. It was momentarily silent until Jeongin screams. He is completely petrified. Why is there a deadly sin in your house? Why is he referring to himself grandpa? Why did he have to be an angel? ”Hey, Jeongin, it’s okay. It’s okay.” You clung to him, gently patting his head.
“I don’t wanna go near him,” Jeongin fluffed up his feathers, wrapping his wings around his body creating a sphere. “He can’t touch me like this,” his voice was muffled inside the sea of feathers. “He won’t go near you okay? I promise. Changkyun isn’t actually that bad, he’s just annoying.” You gently patted Jeongins wing cocoon. Were you imagining it or did you feel a slight burn from touching them? You frowned, pulling your hand away.
“Hey,” Jeongins voice piped up. “Are you gonna explain why he’s here or..?” He let his wings droop to the ground, sitting cross legged now. While his wings were rather large he appeared to be somewhat small. “This cannot be real. Are you kidding?” Changkyun turned toward you. “A demon having a guardian?” You raised your hands defensively. “Hey, I’m a quarter demon at most.” You lowered yourself down next to Jeongin.
“S-so let me get this straight,” Jeongin began. “He’s your grandfather,” He pointed an accusatory finger toward Changkyun. “SIN,” he emphasized. “HE has some wild crush on you,” Jeongin’s hand moved toward Felix. “PRINCE OF HELL,” He practically screamed. “I’m a terrible guardian,” he dropped his head into his hands.
“That last point isn’t true, you’re not a terrible guardian,” you reassured him. You decided that you probably shouldn’t tell him about Chan or Seungmin. You leaned over to give Jeongin a tight hug again, only to flinch away at the undeniable burning sensation
“Are you okay?” Jeongin quickly folded his wings behind him, grabbing your arms and inspecting them. “Ah, you can’t even touch my wings.” He frowned and shook his head in disappointment. “I never thought I’d be roped into something like this,” Jeongin let his head hang in his hands.
“This is all quite a bit of a mess, I know.” You sighed, running a hand through your hair.
“I need to talk to you, actually.” Jeongin hopped up, lacing your hand in his and pulling you toward another room. “I’m sure you demons can converse or whatever, right?” Jeongin shot the two a sly look before continuing the walk. “O-oh, okay?” Baffled, you followed the angel. What could he possibly want to talk about? And that badly enough that he would just leave to demons alone like that.
“So… what did you want to talk about?” You was just a little bit nervous. Once the two of you were alone, Jeongin grabbed you by the shoulders. “I—“ Jeongin paused, biting his lip a bit. “Can we go outside?” His eyes were still nervously attached to the doorway, as if expecting one of them to appear any second. You furrowed your brows, but agreed. “Sweetheart what’s wrong? You seem really anxious?” You frowned at him. “Please, tell me what’s going on?” You nervously rubbed your arms, wincing at the slightly reddened skin from my contact with Jeongins wings.
“I—“ He looked as if he was trying to practically force words out from his mouth. “I don’t know how you feel about Felix right now, but just remember who he is.” Jeongin warns. “This isn’t really him. This isn’t how he acts. Don’t you remember?” He wore a heavily concerned gaze. “He’s highly manipulative. I don’t trust him one bit.” You couldn’t meet Jeongins gaze. It was the truth you had been trying to forget. Trying to forget the fact that it had been Felix who killed Minho. You wanted things to be easy, ignoring the fact that they weren’t. Felix seemed so sweet, and you wanted him to hold you. You wanted him to love you. Even though you should be aware of his true nature. You kept silent, unable to meet Jeongin’s gaze.
“I know it’s hard,” Jeongin hesitantly placed a hand on your shoulder. “But you really need to get away.” His face darkened a bit. “He thinks he’s got it all figured out. Why else would he be so casual?” Jeongin’s head quickly turned toward the nearby door. “I swear I can feel someone,” he hissed under his breath. You sighed deeply. I knew Jeongin was right. But you also knew that you were in too deep. You followed Jeongins gaze in concern. “I think we should go back now.” Your voice was quiet. “Please,” Jeongin stepped in front of you, blocking the entrance. “You need to trust me on this one,” His eyes were pleading. “I can’t let this happen,” his hands were clenched at his sides.
“Jeongin, sweetheart. I know you’re concerned, and probably rightfully so.” You sighed deeply. “But what am I supposed to do? You know I can’t just… go.” With another sigh you entered the house. He was right, and maybe that’s why you werebeing so defensive. He frowned, his wings drooping as he followed behind you. The two of you returned to the two demons who stayed seated in the main room. When you entered, Felix seemed to brighten up.
“So, was there some Guardian to Demon talk or?” Changkyun raised his eyebrow. “Would you stop calling me demon already? I don’t think i qualify.”
Jeongin silently scowled, his eyes never leaving Felix. “If you’re related to me you’re a demon. Don’t argue.” Changkyun waved his hand in the air.
“He has a point,” Felix shrugged, giving you a sly side smile. You rolled your eyes, trying to ignore the animosity between Felix and Jeongin. ‘I’m still only a quarter demon. I don’t think that counts. Also neither of us even knew we were related until very recently.” You raised a brow at Changkyun before continuing your sentiment. “Did you visit mom?” You leaned your head up against Felix. You didn’t want to rub it into Jeongins face, but it just happened automatically.
“Ah, no not yet actually.” Changkyun turned bashful, heat rising to his cheeks. “I didn’t want to impose, and I didn’t know if she would want to see me after all this time.” Felix leaned into you, his hand going to intertwine with yours. “Well, I can’t tell you that either. You might just have to try it yoursel– and try not to get shot then.” Yoi couldn’t help but to add that little quip.
“Well,” Changkyun hopped up from his seat. “I should probably go inform the others of this,” he groaned, dragginga hand down his face. “So much drama is going to go down, I can already feel it.” He grumbled. “Now we need another prince,” Felix let out a small chuckle at Changkyun’s behavior. “You don’t need another prince, you have me,” Felix shrugged, you couldn’t tell if he was joking or not.
“Okay Cocky I’ll see you in Hell whenever you return,” Changkyun rolled his eyes, snapping his fingers to open a portal. “Anything I need to know before I go?” You awkwardly scratched your head. “I don’t think so,” you watched Changkyun vanish, the tension leaving with him.
A bit after Changkyun left you noticed Jeongin had gone quite silent. He sat on the floor quietly, observing. “Hey… you know, you can always go home if you want to?” Maybe that had been the wrong thing to say. Jeongin looked slightly taken aback before standing up in a huff, fidgeting his wings so they’d lay comfortably on his back before they disappeared.
“Yeah, I think that’s best. I was getting a little tired anyways, I’ll see you soon hopefully?” His eyes met yours sharply. This was your choice. You knew the consequences. You’d deal with it. You knew it was immature but you didn’t want to deal with anything negative right now.
“I hope you’ll get some well deserved rest then. See you around Jeonginnie!” Jeongin gave a sullen smile before turning toward the door. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With that he opened the door, giving you one last warning glance, before disappearing out of sight. “Angel boy is finally gone,” Felix semi-groaned, flopping back into the chair. You winced slightly, you did feel sorry for Jeongin.
“I kind of feel like sleeping for about a week now. I’m so glad this is finally over.” You sighed deeply. You really hoped your words were true, but deep inside you knew they weren’t. Whatever this was, it wasn’t over.
“Yeah. It’s so nice to not feel like you’re going to die everyday.” Felix shut his eyes tightly before opening them. “It’s sort of a weird feeling to be honest, I never expected to be able to relax after all of this.” You hummed in agreement. “Yeah, it’s weird. So much happened in such a short time… who would have thought it all started just because of a Chance meeting?”
“I can vividly remember the first time I met you,” Felix’s voice turned more smooth that held what you thought to be an underlying tone of coyness to it. The TV screen flickered, and for a moment you think it’s your electricity being wonky until it faded to a black screen. Confused, you went to stand up and check out the wires only to notice that the rest of the house had also been plunged into darkness.
“You didn’t really think this was over did you?”
“F-Felix? Cut that shit out okay? Come on, this is not funny.” You sighed, the fear returning. You tried looking around in the darkness, but your eyes were still adjusting. You could only feel your heart beating frantically in your chest.
“I’m not joking,” something cool slid across the back of your neck, leaving goosebumps in it’s wake. If it could get any darker it just did, for even when you swore your eyes adjusted you still could barely make out a faint outline of the couch. “Are you really that clueless?” The voice bounced violently around the room. You flinched, “What the hell do you want?” You hissed. Had you really let your guard down this much? Slowly trying to make my way through the darkness, you stepped around the couch. You were making your way around the room, pressing your back against the wall to feel some sense of safety.
“Isn’t it obvious?” The laugh echoed darkly, the room plunging into complete silence. So much, that you swore you could hear ringing in your ears. “I want you,” Felix walked out from the darkness, appearing before you. Through the darkness you could make out his faint outline, but what stood out the most were his eyes. You blinked. “Felix, what? You’re not making any sense.” Still, you were focused on his eyes. Right in front of you, they seemed to hold a hypnotic quality. “Seriously Felix, stop messing with me.” Your voice was shaky again.
“Ha,” He sighed. “I love when you get all scared like this,” he grasped your chin between his index finger and thumb, bringing your face milimeters away from his. His breathing fanned gently over your face, “I can practically taste your fear,” He wet his lips, his pupils narrowing similar to that of a cats. You were stunned to silence, staring at Felix. It felt like someone had pulled a rug from under you, and you were falling again. You had known Jeongin was right. And still, why didn’t you listen? You could feel your heart beating fast, and tears gathering in your eyes. Except, part of you felt disappointed.
”You’re crazy, huh?’ You let out a shallow laugh, still in disbelief.
“Only crazy for you,” he hummed in a sing song tone, his lips grazing over yours. “You shouldn’t be surprised, really.” He pulled away so he could focus on your features. You could practically see the corners of his lips upturning into some lopsided smile. “No one ever changes truly.”Your heart skipped a beat when you felt Felix’s lips. You knew you should be scared. You had no idea what Felix was trying to do. Or maybe you knew and were just ignoring the blazing red flags infront of you. A part of you just wanted to give up. A part of you whispered in your ear, “what’s the harm? Just give up, give in to him. You love him any way.” You bit your lip, trying to avoid Felix’s gaze. The shadows began to receed from the doors and windows. The light had barely reached the floor when the angel burst through the glass, barreling through the house and knocking straight into Felix. Jeongin was careful not to touch you, though, as he already had the demon pinned beneath his body in an instant. You shrieked in surprise, seeing the angel return.
“J-jeongin?” You watched the angel and demon wrestle for a moment from where you stood. Jeongin shouldn’t have to do this alone. You should get at least your knife. Jeongin’s wings slammed down beside Felix, his feathers searing into Felix’s wrists. Felix laughed, his eyes meeting Jeongin’s with a crazed grin. He was apparently unaffected by the pain in his skin.
“I should’ve killed you when I had the Chance, angel.” He hissed, his eyes sparkling before launching an attempt to pull the boy off of him. His shadows tried to latch onto his wings, only to be repelled. The longer this went on the more horrified you became watching Felix. Had you really thought he would change? Had you really believed he wasn’t actually that bad? How naive could you have been? You hated yourself for loving him.
“Do you enjoy this?” Felix tilted his head toward Jeongin, his smile faded while holding eye contact with the young angel. No matter what Felix had tried, his shadows seemed to be completely ineffective against Jeongin. “I hate you angels,” Felix thrashed beneath the boys grasp, the pain finally getting to his wrists. “I forgot how bothersome your kind could be,” Felix grit his teeth together. Felix eventually noticed your arrival back into the room, a shadow leaping up toward you almost like a wall.
“Love, don’t you think two on one is a bit unfair now?” His eyes switched to you, intoxicated by your presence. You sighed, a bitter smile on your face. You couldn’t even look at Felix.
“You know, you’re starting to sound just like Jisung…” You didn’t dare step closer. Felix’s expression fell. “Ah. you really think that?” His eyes flicked back to the angel ontop of him. “Everyone knows I’m worse than him,” a laugh bubbled up from his chest. “You never suspected it though, did you? Even when Jeongin warned you? Your Guardian angel?” His eyes switched back to meet yours, and you could no longer see the Felix you knew. Only a crazed animalistic look met your eyes.
“Seems like I did make the mistake of believing people— demons could actually be good. Maybe I should just kill them on sight. You mused, stepping closer. You seemed almost calm, stepping closer to the two again. You were still averting your gaze. He knew damn well that you could not kill him. You had struggled with Jisung, and he was downright horrid. And you had believed you loved Felix. Or perhaps a part of you still did, despite everything.
“You didn’t do that when you saw me for the first time,” Felix remarked. “What makes you think you’ll be able to do it now?” He tried to shove the angel off of him, this time, Jeongin had a bit of a hard time keeping him down. Yes, he was taller than Felix, but he was fairly light weight including his wings. You kept silent. He was right of course, but you didn’t want to give him that satisfaction. You were in a dilemma. You needed to help Jeongin somehow. If you could at least injure Felix, maybe he’d relent. It was a foolish hope probably, but you clung to it. You just needed to raise the knife and– Felix’s soft, gentle face, him clinging to you, smiling at you flashed across your mind. You hesitated.
“That’s what I thought,” Felix grinned triumphanty before his body seeped through the floor. Of course. The thought hadn’t even crossed Jeongin’s mind, and he cursed silently as he pulled himself off from the ground. Jeongin looked at you before folding his wings in a huff.
“Not the time to say I told you so, but next time do stab him sooner.”
‘That’s what I’ve been thinking the whole time now. I should’ve stabbed him when I first met him.” You sighed. “I’m so sorry to have dragged you into this mess.” You sank onto your sofa, exhausted. “Don’t worry about it,” Jeongin sat in front of you on the floor. “He’s gone for now, why don’t we take a breather and try to demon proof the house? I figured you need a good among of sleep and I myself wouldn’t mind napping for a few uninterrupted hours.” You nodded, “That is a very good idea actually.” You reluctantly stood up again. You had everything that you needed to effectively ward off demons, naturally. Jeongin and yourself spent time spreading salt and other means of protection, taking care to include any windows and even vents too. When you were finished you plopped down in your bed exhaustedly, eyes already closing.
“I’ll be awake for a little longer okay?” Jeongin stopped by your door. “Get some rest now,” he shut your door just a bit, only allowing a small sliver of light into your room. His footsteps grew softer as he walked deeper into the house and away from your room.
“Thanks.” You mumbled to Jeongin, turning over on your bed and cuddling deeper into the blankets again. Even though you were tired, you needed a moment of calming your breathing to stop your thoughts from running all over the place. After a while, you finally fell asleep. You dreamt of Felix. The soft one, the happy one. The innocent image that probably never existed outside of your imagination. You didn’t even realize you were crying in your sleep. You awoke to dried tears staining your cheeks, wiping them off with the back of your hand. You sat in the darkness for a few minutes, as it wasn’t exactly time for morning. You questioned why your body had woken up and cursed to yourself for not getting more sleep. You decided to try and go back to sleep, only to be startled by the sudden shrill scream of Jeongin. You immediately snapped awake and scrambled out of the bed, grabbing your knife and opening my bedroom door. Worry coursed through you and you hurried, only to come across the most gruesome scene.
Felix, standing over a lifeless Jeongin. Your breath caught in your throat. Surely he couldn’t be dead. No. How did Felix get in? Did he ever even leave? Jeongin’s bare shoulder blades were mangled, his wings discarded on opposing sides of the room. Blood was splattered across the floor, walls and especially on Felix. You needed to end this now. Before Felix killed any more people. His eyes switched from the dead guardian up to you almost immediately he perked up.
“Miss me while I was gone?” He kicked Jeongin behind him, taking a step toward you. It was so brutal. You had to fight with every fiber of your being not to break down and cry, seeing Jeongin like this. Through a haze of tears, you glared at Felix. How could you have ever loved him?
“I’m never going to miss you again.” You hissed, raising your knife. The best time to have killed him was when you first met. The second best time was now. He needed to die. You lunged toward Felix. You needed to kill him. He shrugged, flicking his wrist and summoning forth his shadows. The long coils plucked up one of Jeongin’s now mutilated wings to thrust it in front of Felix, acting as a shield. “I think they’re much prettier red don’t you think?” He cocked his head to the side, though, you couldn’t see through the mess of matted and bloodied feathers in front of you. You stopped in your tracks. You were shaking, horrified of the sight of Jeongin’s lost bodypart.
“How could you have done something like this?” You asked, your voice weak. You tried to step around the wing, keeping your distance from it. First Minho, now Jeongin. You had cared for both of them so much, and he just killed them both. “You’re going to die!” You yelled, the fury overflowing. A pale flash of electricity jumped toward Felix. The bolt hit him straight in the abdomen, causing him to let out a yelp of pain as his body crashed to the floor. He groaned as his limbs curled inward, his body convulsing onto the ground. His shadows had completely dropped out of existance, leaving a clean opening. There was no time to hesitate, no time for surprise that you manifested that lightning. Instead, you took out your knife, swooping down over Felix. It was almost serene how the knife sank smoothly into his chest. He wasn’t dead yet, so instead you just stared at him. You knew the regret would wash over you any second now. His eyes shut tightly as he registered how much pain he was in, his hands flying to grip the blade. He winced as his fingers burned against the blessed blade in an attempt to pull it out from his chest.
“Of course. I forgot about that,” his eyes burned into yours. You couldn’t tell if it was of hatred or regret. You were shaking at this point, one hand still firmly pressing the handle of the blade down. Your mouth moved tonelessly at first. “I…” You tried to blink away the tears at first, there was no use crying about a murderer like this, but there was still a part of you that cared too much. “I’m sorry it had to end like this” You whispered. “You brought it upon yourself–”
“Did you ever love me?” his eyes settled on yours, and for a second you swore you could see the old Felix in his eyes. He gave up on trying to remove the knife from his chest, his arms dropping to rest beside him instead. His teeth were grit together as his blood bubbled from the wound, now seeping through his clothing and beginning to settle on the floor beneath him. “Was I just a hopeful fool this whole time?” That question broke you. You begin to sob, your hands shaking but gently coming to rest on Felix’s cheek.
“I did Felix. I actually did” The words were difficult to force out. “Did you?” Your voice was barely a whisper. Had it really been something akin to love that had driven him?
“I did.” He closed his eyes to rest them as a smile stretched across his bloodied face. “I do,” he corrected himself, his eyes fluttering back open to meet yours. His eyes no longer portrayed his natural red, bloodlust-filled irises. Rather, a softened warm brown. Almost as if he were somewhat human. You could only watch with wide eyes as the light in those soft brown eyes dimmed. Had you really done the right thing? Should you have let him live? But you owed it to Minho and Jeongin. There was just too much blood on your hands. Too much blood had been spilled in general. You gently touched your forehead to Felix’s one last time, his life slipping away. There was too much blood in this house. Maybe you should burn it all down and start anew somewhere else.

Okay, my thoughts are as follows. (And these are all assuming the teamwork is 1-on-1, and also I did not think any of it through.)
I feel like Sokka would have the easiest time momentarily putting personal grudges aside on the basis of strategy. He would not be friendly, but he would talk through the plan without losing focus, keep a generally calm/light tone, and honestly he and Azula would probably have a mutual respect thing going on if they talk to each other long enough, because they are both huge assets to each other when on the same side. Unfortunately, this means that Azula would spend the whole time going, "Okay, as soon as his role in helping me through this is over, I've got to kill him; he's very good at what he does, and this is the best opportunity to remove him from my plate of adversaries." But Sokka probably knows this. Also, maybe enemies to lovers. What the hey.
Azula and Aang are two gifted kids who are at vastly different places in the gifted kid burnout journey and also with vastly different baggage about their own skills. After it's understood that they need to work together and Aang does that doe-eyed frowny face for whenever he's dealing with a serious enemy in close quarters, Aang will be floating around effortlessly, and Azula will hold herself to such high standards for keeping up with him. Like, normally Aang will drift ahead of his friends, and they either let it happen or ask him to slow down, but Azula takes it as an implicit challenge and goes out of her way to keep pace with him and not show that it's a strain to do that. (I don't necessarily mean the literal walking speed would be the point of contention; my main point is that there would be some area where Azula feels she needs to best or match him unnecessarily. Usually, she's great at teamwork and letting other people use their unique skills, but Aang's particular effortless vibe would be different because he doesn't acknowledge her as his superior like Ty Lee always makes a point of doing.) Until it reaches a point where Aang does that face of concern and slight confusion and says, "Azula, you're exhausted. Why don't we take a rest?" What I'm saying is, if this cooperation goes on for a significant length of time, it would turn into Aang cheerfully going "You know, it doesn't have to be perfect. You've been a big help anyway!" while flying circles around Azula and lowkey infuriating her. And she would have to bring him down to her level by subtly probing at old wounds. So, placing the two of them together would be the gifted kid burnout speedrun for both.
I'd say Suki would be hostile and uncooperative on the basis of the entire kidnapping and identity theft situation, but she got along with Zuko easily in the Boiling Rock, so clearly she can get over extreme slights for the sake of the mission. She's a professional. It would be a tense and unpleasant working environment, but they would get it done with unprecedented amounts of romantic tension that would not bear any fruit.
I feel like Toph would refuse to admit she even needs Azula's help. Like, I understand the constraints of the question, but I feel like in this situation Toph would just be like "I can do it by myself," for a while, and Azula would have to put on a persona that is easier to get along with just to gain access to Toph as a resource. Even so, Toph would do her part of things (whatever the plan of action/attack is) with an attitude of "I'm doing this for me, and I'm not relying on you to do your part; you're just doing that for you."
Katara's temper and Azula's needling would be a joy to watch in action. It would turn into flirting, they would be bickering full-time, and I would enjoy it tremendously.
(I need to be careful, because I am perpetually on the verge of writing a fanfiction where Azula is yandere for one of the Water Tribe siblings, and I simply should not.)
(Zuko isn't here, since Azula's relationship with him is a whole other mess).

Yandere! Brother Day x Black Reader
The coldness of the polished marble had rendered your knees and the skin that covered it numb and painful. Kneeling was no stranger to you in any way, in fact of the years you have been bound to the Empire, it was like second nature to you now.
But today was different. Today was yet another of you trying to leave, to escape your captives and failing miserably yet again.
You didn't dare to look up at him as he sat in the center throne, the other two vacant leaving you at his mercy. You had learned the hard way to not look upon the emperor without his permission, but you could feel the irritation radiating off of his hulking physique.
He had ordered you to be brought to him, handcuffed as you were and wearing the little cloth that you were allowed by him, you never felt more venerable and weak as you did in moments like this one.
"Empire, we found your consort attempting to flee through the servants quarters, we have brought her to you upon your order my lord." The guard announced but his words seemed to fall on deaf ears. The emperor had all of his attention on his pet that was trembling in fear, and with good reason he thought to himself.
"Leave us and do close the doors on your way out." He ordered, waiting until the room was cleared to stand from his throne and approach her.
Compared to him she barely reached his shoulders at her full height, with her kneeling she looked even smaller to him. He had had a busy morning attending to his duties along side his brothers and had sought out her company when he had the time to spare. But to his surprise she was nowhere to be found.
Of course he knew where she was, he always knew either through surveillance or simple tracking from the choker that was secure around her throat, he always knew so that wasn't the problem.
The problem was that time and time again, his little pet felt the need to try and flee from him. He was no fool and understood why she continued to do so, being taken as a trophy from ones home tended to leave one homesick. But he had made her watch as he laid waste to her home planet the day he took her.
There were no more trees, animals, water, friends, family or lovers if she ever had them. Everything she had ever known and loved was incinerated and laid to ash before her wails and tears leaving room for only the emperor in her life now. So what was she so eager to escape to after all these years still?
"Such a little thing, yet so much trouble." He chuckled running his hand across her thick hair, startling his pet at the sudden contact. It was soft to the touch and left its scent of fresh flowers on his palm that he inhaled deeply with closed eyes and a smile across his lips.
"How many times does this make? One hundred and sixty two if you didn't know. So many times you try and try again and again to escape from me, why I do not know but you still refuse to open up to me as to your reasons." He lowered himself to her level, and even then he still towered over her.
His green eyes took in every curve and inch of dark beautiful skin that was not covered by the blue silk he personally picked out her for today. Why did everything about her intoxicate him so? Never in the centuries of his reign had he come across something that he desired so badly than her.
Though he has had her in everyway possible, broken her mind to only want him alone and accept all that he bestows upon her with gladness, her resistance was still a mystery to him.
Not many had the bravery and skill to willfully go against the empire without fear of the consequences, there should be none who would even dare. Yet here she was in all of her beauty and rebelliousness just a touch away from him.
"Do I not provide you everything that your heart could ever desire? Do I not tend to your every need and satisfy you in more ways than one pet?" He urged her to look at him but she refused to meet his gaze, skin cold and trembling despite his gentle touch on her cheek.
"Do I still frighten you after all these years?" He asked lifting her chin so he could look at her face. Her soft full lips were a temptation by themselves. Many nights he would lay with her simply kissing them while caressing her soft body, the plushness of them between his teeth and against his was a blessing only the gods could have made with their divine powers.
Physical contact by those they ruled had deprived them the pleasures of knowing what the warmth of another living, breathing body felt like against theirs. He never know the dark hole of touch depravation that was within him until he had embraced her for the first time. He had nearly wept at being able to feel something so wonderful and yet so simple.
"Open your eyes and answer me." With much reluctance she obeyed him, he met her dark brown eyes that her blood shot puffy from excessive crying.
"Yes Emperor, you still frighten me." Her voice was but a whisper but he heard her well enough.
"And why is that, have I given you reason as of late?"
"Anacreon and Thespis, you murdered billions of their people.."
"Like I did to your world. The difference to yours being that I made sure to leave none of your people alive." His words took affect in her mind immediately, the memories of her home being burned for a crime that they didn't commit much like Anacreon and Thespis, leaving her alone and at the mercy of the tyrant emperor and his empire. The thought and constant reminder brought her to tears as he held her face in his hands.
"Do not waste your tears on the dead pet." His tongue lapped up her river of tears, the taste of the salty liquid heavy on his taste buds but he didn't mind, they were her tears.
He littered her face with gentle kisses, his big hands roaming across her body kneading and squeezing all that he could. She was stiff against him, willing her body to not react to him.
"Instead shed them, for the pain that I will bestow upon you for ever thinking you could ever escape me." He whispered into her ear, pulling her flush against him and gripping her hair painfully to expose her neck to him.
She of course tried to get away from him, out of his constricting grasp and from under the gaze of his cold, merciless eyes but she could not, he wouldn't let her.
"I'm starting to think you enjoy punishment pet. Does being at my mercy bring you pleasure? Is that why time and time again you test the patience of your Emperor?"
"Well it doesn't matter now. Now pet is when you tell me what exactly I should do to you to win back my good graces."

yandere stray kids reaction .. to s/o getting bullied
warning. this is not how i portray the members of stray kids or how you should either. this is purely for entertainment purposes.
trigger for violence, murder, bullying **i also use she/her pronouns for reader!
wc 2.1k
bang chan
chan spun around in his chair at the sound of the door opening, perking up. he expected the warm smile and hug that he craved so badly, only to be met with a shell of his favorite person. but instead, your slumped shoulders fell into the mattress by his desk.
“y/n?” chan questioned, growing increasingly concerned at the quiet sobs and running to your side.
but when you fell asleep that night in his arms, after watching your favorite movies and eating your favorite snacks, chan would tuck you into bed and sneak out of the house quietly, careful to not disturb your sleep. he would, however, disturb multiple other’s sleep that night.
chan rarely liked to resort to murder, but his breaking point was seeing you cry in the way that you did. just the thought was enough motivation to slice the worthless girl’s throat, seeing nothing but red.
this was just the beginning of his killing spree. you would never have to worry about them bothering you again.
lee minho
you didn’t think he knew, and you never planned to tell him either in fear of your bullies well-beings. while you hated them just as much as they claimed to hate you, there was no way you could subject them to your sadistic boyfriend. it would make you a monster to do so. instead, you chose to deal with the cruel words thrown at you in hopes of him never finding out.
obviously, you had underestimated exactly how much minho knew about you, which was quite a lot, especially when he spent his free time following you around aimlessly with a small smile on his face.
the truth was, minho knew the whole time that you had problems with these bullies of yours. he knew that you put on a smile when you’d come back home and lied as you skipped past that part of the day.
minho never felt the need to interfere until the day that they laid their hands on you. the shove took both you and him by surprise, anger bubbling inside of him that he couldn’t release just yet.
when you came home that night, faking a smile and giving a brief story about your day as you ate the dinner prepared for you, minho decided to tell you about the gift he had gotten you today.
a big smile spread across his face as you tore open the box, watching your face contour into panic.
“i wouldn’t let them keep the hands that they touched you with, or the tongues that they talked to you with. so now they’re yours!”
seo changbin
“how was your day, love?” “it was alright.”
these were your only words when you came home. at first, changbin thought he had done something wrong, but when he questioned it, you told him that you were just tired.
after a week of ‘alright’s, he knew that there was something that you didn’t want to tell him, something that he would have to find out himself.
he watched you throughout the day very carefully, trying to spot any changes in your behavior. for the most part, you were tired and miserable, but it only got worse as the day continued.
around noon while walking around campus, you began to speed up your walking pace, suddenly very aware of your surrounding. changbin would soon understand why as laughter suddenly rose from a group of students. the scene escalated quickly before his eyes and he tried to keep his cool, until one of them shoved you.
that was his breaking point, absolutely losing it as he threw a punch to the bastard’s nose. everything was hazy, his body going into autopilot as he easily threw the other guy to the ground, a crowd forming around as you tried to pry changbin off of him.
it wasn’t until the man was beaten to a pulp that changbin let you drag him away, heart dropping at your tear stained cheeks.
“are you okay? did he hurt you that badly? i’ll fucking kill him, i promise you, y/n.”
hwang hyunjin
you knew that the bullying you’d receive would be inevitable, considering that you were dating the hwang hyunjin, the boy that everyone dreamed of being with.
dealing with a few comments about how he was too attractive for you here and there was no problem and easy to shrug off, but you never realized the extent that a few certain girls were willing to go in order to tear down your confidence enough to think that hyunjin was too good for you.
eventually, it worked. you grew more and more distant from him, barely considering how often he tried to make plans to see you more, how devastated he had been becoming without you. it wasn’t until he showed up at your door late at night, flowers clutched tightly in his hands as he begged you to talk to him that you finally broke down.
“i can’t keep doing this hyunjin. do you see yourself? you’re so attractive. you’re so kind. and look at me, do you even like me? or are you just keeping me around to make yourself look even more handsome?”
hyunjin barely heard the words coming from your mouth as you spilled out all the reasons why he was too good for you. he knew that somebody had been making you feel this way.
“who told you all of this?” he questioned calmly, dark thoughts clouding his mind. he needed names. addresses. ways to make them disappear. ways to get you back.
han jisung
you never thought to tell jisung about the stupid girls who would pick fun at you in class. they were childish and jealous, that was all. while some comments hurt, you never paid much mind to it. after all, you weren’t there to entertain them.
“holy shit, is that y/n?“ you heard a familiar voice whilst shopping with jisung, both of you whipping your heads around to find where the snickering voices were coming from.
“who is that guy with her? i didn’t know she had a boyfriend,” your classmate mused, “what’s he doing with her? does he have a thing for ugly girls?”
with a grumble, you turned your head back around to continue walking, deciding once again that they weren’t worth your time. jisung followed, too focused on your hand squeezing his own to care about anyone but you.
they continued to follow you around for a while, making snide comments in hopes that you’d turn around to give them something else to make fun of. but when you didn’t, the girls grew aggravated, going as far as to grab your wrist and yank you away from jisung to get your attention.
it was only then that his eyes widened, hand reaching into his jacket pocket to grab his favorite switchblade, leaving a nasty slice on the hand that touched yours.
“she’s mine, you can’t have her.”
lee felix
it had all started when a girl noticed felix in her dance class. she told her friends about her newfound love interest, and they did some investigating on him only to find out that he had a girlfriend. but the girls didn’t give up there, instead they confronted you, which ended in them ganging up on you once you refused to leave him.
they told you that if you told felix, they would make your life even more of a living hell than it had already become dealing with them. they knew people— they knew how to ruin your life.
but there were things felix would pick up on about you that even you wouldn’t notice. he was very observant, which made it hard for you to keep things from him. that had never been a problem for you, because you were very open and honest with him. but now, the one time that you wanted to keep something from him, it was.
“where do these bruises keep coming from?” he traced his finger across your newest forming one, causing you to let out a whimper at the pressure.
“does it hurt that bad? there’s no way you don’t know what happened,” his voice was stern as he stared at you in the eyes, “tell me now, who has been hurting you? i need to know and take care of them.”
it was then that you broke down, telling him everything that had been going on recently.
in the time you finished, he had pulled on his shoes and brushed out his hair, a knife tucked away into his pocket, slamming the door.
kim seungmin
you had confided in seungmin when it had all started. you trusted him more than anyone in your world, so ranting to him about your problems came as natural as breathing air.
he would nod his head slowly, taking in the information as his hands found their way into your hair, playing with it to calm himself down. his stern face would worry you, and you would almost think he was spacing out if you didn’t know him well enough to know how pissed he was.
“would you like me to get rid of them?” he looked down at you laying across his lap, heart softening at the way you played with the hem of his shirt.
“please,” you hummed, half asleep at this point in the night.
when he told you he would get rid of them, you thought that he would tell them off or perhaps notify somebody. but that wasn’t what he had meant at all.
seungmin watched you drift off on top of him, cooing at the way you clung so tightly to him. you whined in protest as he hooked his arms under your body and lifted you off of him, whispering about how your back would hurt in the morning if he didn’t get you to bed.
it didn’t take long for you to fall back asleep thinking that he was at your side. but in reality, he was already out the door and figuring out how to get rid of everyone you had talked about before you would wake up.
yang jeongin
he felt betrayed. it was his own friends who were the reason why you were sobbing into the material of his shirt at the moment. his jaw was clenched tightly, scrolling through the texts on your phone.
his friend group had added you into a group chat solely to shame you. they made fun of you for everything. your body, your face, the way you dressed, how you talked, every part of you that he loved so much was targeted by the ones he hung out with when he wasn’t with you.
what upset him even more was knowing that you weren’t planning to tell him any of this. only by chance did he happen to see a notification light up your screen as you two were watching a movie, only one of many terrible texts that were sent to your phone. and now the tv was long forgotten about.
“if you feel this way too, i get it,” you hiccuped, “they’re right about a lot of it, and they’re your friends, if they don’t like me then you can always break—“
“don’t you dare finish that sentence,” jeongin interrupted, gently shoving you off of him to look you in the eyes.
“i couldn’t care less about any of these people. i’m going to go. i need to take care of this.”
he didn’t specify how he was going to, knowing that you would beg him not to, but there was no way that he would ever let this slide. he would tear each of them up, piece by piece. nobody was allowed to make you think that he would ever think about leaving you.

yandere!lee know x fem!reader || breeding + possession — @soluvcore || additional: you know what i like bestieeee || wc: 720~
— light degradation, name calling + marking
all kinktober drabbles are smut and mature rated; if you are a minor DNI
His hands caress your body, lips pressing on the back of your neck as he hums lowly and stills inside you, his warm seed released in you has you moaning softly as your body relaxes into the midnight purple satin sheets. Minho chuckles as he feels you turning to jelly in his arms as he moves your body so that you are on your back.
Your eyes are barely open as you look up at his handsome features and take in that teasing half-smile he has. You know the words that are about to come out of his mouth and yet, you can't find the energy to stop them from being spoken. "Aren't you so pretty like this?" Minho leans forward, running the tip of his nose along the side of your own before kissing your lips, chin, neck, rolling his hips as he captures your lips again. He drinks your moans like they are all he needs to survive - as if you are all he needs to live.
"Like what?" You whisper against his lips when he barely pulls away to take in the way you look in the afterglow.
"When you are filled to the brim, being claimed as mine." He says with an oddly affectionate tone, one that is reserved for these moments, the ones where he basks in the fact that you are here with him.
Finally.
He's pursued you for days, weeks, months, years. Minho grew more and more obsessed with you with every rejection and soon, you were his entire world and he was going to do whatever it took to have you in his possession. You had never had a man treat you the way Minho did, every guy growing progressively worse and who was there whenever you cried after a heartbreak?
How could you keep rejecting him when he made you feel so good about yourself after someone made you feel like shit?
You see the smug look on his face and tilt your head, furrowing your brow before humming. "Mm, you're wrong about something there," you see a flash of panic cross his features before putting him out of his misery, "I'm not filled to the brim."
Oh, you loved messing him and you know that he hated it in the best of ways. It sets something off in him every time you do it and while buried deep inside you isn't any different.
"Is that so?" He raises an eyebrow, the look matched with his smirk has a sweet shiver running down your spine. You can feel him growing harder inside you with every roll of his hips until he pulls away and raises his body so that he's looking down at you like a meal he's about to devour. "Should I fill you until you're dripping my cum, so full that even when I fuck you later, you'll still have my cum inside you? Is that what you want, my pretty little whore?" How can he call you that with such a sweet, teasing tone, making it sound as soft as him calling you Princess?
He doesn't wait for you to answer, he doesn't need to because he can see it in your eyes, the way they widen with surprise at his words with that lovely hint of lust behind them.
Minho is going to claim you, over and over, until you can't take him anymore. He's going to make sure every inch of you is covered in his love for you, that there's not an inch of your body that he doesn't know as intimately as his own. You'll be his most prized possession, the thing that he will take care of and cherish like he always has and if anyone is going to play with you, use you, break you, it'll be him. Only him.
"Mine." He growls, his lips leaving another mark on your body as he releases into you, stilling for only a moment before picking up his pace again - not letting you rest until he's kept his word. "Only mine. All mine."
He repeats over and over, all night until the dawn breaks, he repeats those words until they are almost all you know in your fucked-out state. You are his now, forever and he'll remind you of that regardless of whether you need it or not.

Damn man, that's some kick ass smut....whewww!🔥🥵🌡🤒🙄
M O D E R N T H I N G S A U
description: in this AU, Tolkien’s world and ours collided at their very beginnings and their respectful histories merged together as they grew into one. Fantasy races, languages and a degree of magic exist here. Thranduil, once an Elvenking, has become a leading politician with the dissolution of monarchies. You - a mortal university student and friend of Legolas - have caught his eye and you find yourself willing to do just about anything to stay with Thranduil and in his graces as the reality of what you have got yourself into dawns upon you.

Ayo can I get uhmmmm
A Yandere Jongho that really has fun with knives after he thinks you were going to make advances to the dude that was ringing you out the 7/11
Ik highly specific but still xD
AYO I GOTCHA BESTIE
but please don't throw a water bottle at me, I beg of thee.
warnings: dom!jongho, sub!reader, unprotected sexy times, knife play, cockwarming, yandereness (but reader is lowkey into it), degradation, use of petnames.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ah ah, Don't you dare move Cub. You got yourself into this, so now you're going to take what the fuck I give you."
You whimper as you sit on Jongho's lap, his cock nestled deep inside your already abused cunt. The male was showing you no mercy after he and you stopped into a nearby 7/11 to pick up some snacks.
The male who wrung you out was an old classmate of yours, you hadn't seen him in a while and happily made conversation with him. But unaware to you, your boyfriend was just bubbling with anger.
How dare he sit here and flirt with you while he was right here next to you. Making passes at you that went over your adorable little head, staring a little too hard for his like.
This punk was just begging to be taken off the census.
So when the two of you returned to your shared apartment, Jongho waisted no time in taking the switch blade you had gifted him and ripping your dress, earning a gasp from you.
"I'll buy you another. Get on the bed. I don't want to hear anything from your damn mouth but your slutty little moans cub."
And that's how you got yourself into this situation, Jongho's cock still deep in you with his blade pressed against your breasts, his lips on your neck.
"My dumb little cub, too stupid to realize that he was flirting with you." He says giving a teasing thrust that pulls a whine from you.
"Maybe i should fuck you silly, mark up this body and show him who the fuck you belong to." He whispers in you ear, you whimper as you feel him plant his feet on the ground.
Suddenly a sharp moan is pulled from you as Jongho starts a brutal pace, smirking at your desperate cries. "That's right cub, moan for me, moan like a little bitch. You know that this belongs to me." He grunts out. He slowly brings the knife up to your neck, chuckling as your moans get louder.
"Who does this pussy belong to cub."
"y-you.."
He lands a hard thrust that had you seeing stars as he growls in your ear.
"I said. Who does this pussy belong to?"
You whimper as you feel your 4th orgasm of the night coming on, your moans start to sound like broken cries.
"f-fuck! Fuck! It belongs to you Jongho! I only belong to you!" You scream out as you reach your high making the male chuckle.
"Mhm..That's right. And if you pull another little stunt like that.."
He moves his knife instead wraps a hand around your throat, laughing at the pitiful whine that leaves your body.
"I'll bring that little son of bitch in here and fuck you infront of him. Show you who and remind him of who the fuck you belong to."

Yandere pervert Mingi who finally shows himself to his live after stalking them for months - by maybe waiting for them in their room or something creepy of that sort
S.MG X GN!READER
YOUR THROAT FELT LIKE IT WAS CLOSING UP.
if you’d had trusted your gut feeling, you wouldn’t be in this situation right now. the knife was cool against your neck, your skin burning in comparison. you stayed still, silent as the intruder had instructed, trying to breathe as shallowly as possible so you don’t accidentally cut your own neck. his breath however was loud, almost laboured, sickeningly warm on your neck as he leant into your ear. you had to fight the shudder that rose through your body when his lips grazed your ear.
“i’ll slit your pretty neck if you scream.”
gulping, you hummed in quiet agreement, allowing him to push you forward until you were at the bottom of your bed. fearing the worst, you closed your eyes as he pushed you onto it, just hoping it would all be over soon. however, when nothing happened, you dared to pry one daring eye open. the intruder’s head was tilted to the side in confusion, mouth and nose covered by a mask. finally understanding, he chuckled and unhooked one side of his mask, pulling it off as he spoke.
“i might be a stalker, but I’m no rapist.”
it felt as if your eyes had doubled, no tripled, in size, eyes hurt as you stared at your stalker’s face. surprisingly, it was a very familiar one.
“it’s you… from the café!”
when your voice rose, the man darted forward, hand on your mouth as he pressed the knife to your neck again.
“last warning baby, keep your fuckin’ voice down.”
tears now wetting your cheeks, you nodded slowly, gritting your jaw as his gloved hand caressed your face, wiping your tears away. sighing in content, he moved a few stray hairs into place, twirling one around his finger before letting it bounce back into place. finally letting up, he pointed to the pile of clothes neatly folded on your desk chair, gesturing with his knife.
“get dressed.”
eyebrows furrowed, you approached the clothes slowly, not wanting to make any sudden movements or noises. cold dread washed over you when you saw the semi-formal clothes, taking in his black slacks and dress shirt underneath his hoodie.
“why are you forcing me, mingi? I told you no-”
he paced forward, face now inches from yours, a stern expression on his face that he never showed you at the café. even when you’d turned mingi down, he gave you a small smile and thumbs up, seemingly disappointed but taking it fairly wrong.
how wrong you were.
“and now you’re gonna tell me yes. we’re gonna go to the fancy restaurant I’ve booked, have a lovely fuckin’ evening, and then we’ll see where it goes from there.”
your face darkening, a wave of confidence, or perhaps stupidity, washed over you.
“who says this is gonna go anywhere?”
mingi just laughed in an almost mocking fashion, holding up the knife and letting it glint in the moonlight.
“mr. knife says you might not have a choice in this, baby.”
