Trying a 30 day song challenge on my YouTube channel (Link in Bio) and here's day 1. I couldn't think of songs I knew that had a colour in the title (except Gold by @andradaymusic which I have already covered on my channel - hehe I thought I was sorted until I found it there) and had these suggested by friends. I couldn't choose one and so I did both. There are other suggestions I'd like to get to, so please forgive me for not getting to those this time round. "Success is small efforts repeated until it becomes a habit" I've always struggled body image and confidence, more in my younger years. In 2017 is when I noticed that if I continued on my path of self hate, starving, and bingeing I probably would never be healthy. 2018 I started to work out a bit, but not really change my diet or had that much confidence of any sort in myself. In 2019 I started gaining more self confidence about myself and the way I look, I started to eat more healthier and have been exercising. In 2020 is where I noticed that with my hard work I was getting somewhere I just had to keep working at it. Now in 2021, 5 years later my 2017 me would be so proud of myself. Not the most profitable but indeed very quick. With the range I was seeing and the gaps available, I decided to err on the side of caution. It was also a Friday end of day and I preferred a quick in and out. Not a bad close to the week.

That moment, after a workout, where your mind starts stringing all sorts of silly thoughts. I'm trying not to stress. Truth be told, I've been sick. I did a short workout yesterday and today. It's disheartening. I had to not visit the #250kchallenge forum, Snapchat and BodySpace. I was sad. I haven't noticed much change. So, I decided to take a pic. Pictures don't lie. I'm at the point with my pics, I'm like screw it, I need to sculpt my body. I'm looking, looking all the time. I shouldn't, but here I am. I'm glad that I did it. I am noticing some changes. It hasn't been a month just yet, but I see some changes in my back. So I was invited a couple of days ago by a new gay friend (I haven’t had a gay friend since my early 20’s, that’s more than 15 years ago), to a piano night at @xyyvr and at first I was really hesitant but then I kept hearing @myname.is.miss in my head, “just say yes!” So I said yes to going out. When I arrived at the door, I looked at it and it wasn’t easy for me to go in because I haven’t really been a part of the “community” in a very long time. And I also haven’t been around “my people” in about the same length of time. So it wasn’t easy. But I had @myname.is.miss in my head, “just say yes, just say yes”. And I’m glad I went in. It’s been nine months since I started going to the gym!!! Recently, I’ve just learn how to do planks and I noticed that my stomach is starting to shrink.
