After Graves is found and healed, he gets to know Newt a little better and falls in love. He quickly realises that Newt has been hurt in the past even without the constant messages from Theseus that hell is going to rain down on anyone in MACUSA even looking the wrong way at Newt.

I want to see Percival slowly gaining Newt's trust, then becoming part of his family and after months of careful wooing finally having his personal happy end.

Bonus: Newt has been in love with Graves for years hearing tales from his brother. The incident with Grindelwald was a huge blow to his ego until he realised that it wasn't Graves. Still he's too shy to make any first move towards the real Graves that is more than friendship.

What’s your opinion of Hap x Prairie?

I have such a weakness for problematic villain x heroine older man/younger woman ships so more Hap x Prairie moments, yes please. Captor/captive, even better. I don’t want them to end up together but I bloody love the moments where he looks at her and seems conflicted/lost/furiously jealous of Homer. A desperate, confused season 2 kiss would be 👍👍👍

I also would have liked a few more Mirror!Gabriel Lorca x Michael Burnham moments than “not a scratch, Ash” and the leg touch in the transport but hey ho.

I’m hoping Prime!Lorca x Michael will be a Thing, but with a different vibe where he’s Too Honourable to make a move on a much younger woman who’s also his subordinate and he just watches her longingly while Ash is all 🤨😒 and she’s completely oblivious. Till about the ninth ep where they’re Trapped Alone In A Dangerous Situation and Mirror!Georgiou notices all his hidden feelings while she’s trying to murder them and is all “In THIS universe too? Men are so predictable.” And Michael is all, “In this universe what? OHMYGOD.”

Anywho I’ve blathered on more about STAR TREK: DISCOVERY than THE OA but the point is that shipping goggles are permanently on for Hap and Lorca, Jason Isaacs is fave and hit me with that good problematic shit.

I believe mirror Lorca is his evil version and not trying to overthrow georgiou for pure reasons, but I also don’t believe that her characterization of his and Michael’s relationship is honest. I do believe there was a sexual relationship, but I don’t believe there was grooming or that Michael saw him as a father figure.

That is Georgiou’s version of events due to hurt feelings. Like thinking about it...really. In a universe where it’s accepted and praise that you kill for power, defenseless human like species are made slaves and eaten as a delicacy, extremely xenophobic, among many other things and lorca is the most treacherous.

He is only treacherous in Georgiou’s eyes because he betrayed her two times over. 1. He wanted to overthrow her. Lorca was her right hand man and she most likely loved everything she hates about him now. 2. He had a closer relationship with Michael. This isn’t accounting for them becoming lovers, but the fact that Georgiou could never read Michael, but Lorca and her clearly became close and devised to have Georgiou overthrown.

This isn’t even accounting for the fact that this can be a manipulation on Georgiou’s end. What’s her point in keeping Michael alive? What purpose does it serve? But, if Georgiou can paint Lorca as a predator opposed to their relationship being consensual, momentarily, Michael is on her side to take down Lorca. Clearly, Georgiou knows Lorca wants Michael by his side and is trying to compromise Michael even further to uphold her power.

Excerpt: Terran (Mirror) Universe, 32 Years Ago, Mojave, California

After multiple climate alteration projects failed during the previous two hundred years, the natural environment had reclaimed Mojave and its surrounds. Life on the high desert was harsh and the few who made it their home possessed little material wealth. As they preferred. If you owned nothing considered valuable no one wanted to take it away. Thus this area lacking natural resources and mostly populated by nameless, faceless sexagenarians and older drew little notice from the imperial government or the oligarch class.

Morning began as most summer days did in Mojave, bright and warm with the temperature swiftly rising. By eight am, thirteen-year-old Chris Pike had been up for two hours tending to the early morning chores on his family’s ranch.
