This Danganronpa event takes place the week of April Fools, or from 3/31 to 4/6. Each day has a choice of four pairs: one yuri, one yaoi, one straight, and one platonic. And each of those pairs was randomly generated with a dice roll!

It's a celebration of the rare- and the crack- and the "what ifs...?" we never knew we needed. Write fic, make art, create edits...do whatever inspires you! Be as silly or as serious as you want.

(NOTE: I chose from game characters only, plus a few extras, like Ryoko Otonashi. A few characters were platonic-only too, like the Warriors of Hope, and I threw out any very VERY obvious pairing that arose in the random rolls, like Naegiri or Saimatsu, since that's not what this event is about. Otherwise, this is all randomized.)

and so fuyuhiko and peko helped you gather everyone together and entered the neo world program, hoping that once they left it again, that they would feel worthy of your love once more, even though they already were, in your eyes…

Very random but what’s your opinion on idea of Fuyuhiko x Makoto? I got obsessed with this crackship years ago and I’m devastated no one else is into it

I definitely do like them a lot! I think this post is the closest I've gotten to writing them in a semi-romantic way so far (or, maybe also this one a little), but I definitely think they'd be cute.

Like I mentioned in the Naematsu post, I think the main obstacle here is that it's easier to put them with characters they canonically interact with more (like Makoto x Mondo, Fuyuhiko x Chiaki and/or Hajime, etc.), but there's some unique potential in this ship.

(Plus I'm fully into having Hajime and Peko in the mix as a whole polycule, so.)

The Fuyuhiko/Makoto ship feels like kind of a midway point between Naegami and Naeouma, or somewhere in the zone of those ships. Fuyuhiko is a guy who feels he has to project a version of himself that is not consistent with how he actually feels, often to the point of upsetting those around him, and Makoto has an incredible resilience to that kind of thing. And I think Makoto would be really interested to hear about Fuyuhiko's life.

This ship could happen in so many different scenarios, which is also great. Like, I feel like the main way to easily throw them together during their Hope's Peak days is through Hiro; he owes the Kuzuryu Clan money, and he tried to sell Makoto's organs about it. It would be pretty funny if Fuyuhiko found out about that.

If they had any kind of close relationship at Hope's Peak, it would be fun/angsty to have them meet post-THH. Remnant Fuyuhiko and his ex who "killed" Junko. Naturally, I'd love it if Fuyuhiko and Peko kidnapped him, but I'm lowkey self-conscious of how often I have Makoto getting kidnapped. 😅 But also, a situation where they weren't close at Hope's Peak and Remnant Fuyuhiko kidnaps him for purely despair reasons, but then things change.

Or suppose they only get close after the Neo World Program! There's a lot of fun options.

"Puhuhuhu...I wonder how much despair will you guys feel, if i reveal 'the' second traitor." junko grinned

"Second..traitor..?" Hajime mumbled

"Yes! The second traitor is!! Your beloved Y/N L/N!!" Junko revealed with a cutesy voice

"No way! You're lying...this..whole thing is a lie!" Hajime denied it, there's no way...the person who was there for him is the second traitor!

"why would i lie about that?" Junko questioned with a monotone voice

"Y/N is not the traitor!" Hajime denied furrowing his eyebrows

"Hajime, stop it." Y/N murmured

Hajime's eyes widen "Y/N..? Your not the..."

Y/N grinned "I am the second traitor!"

Hajime felt like he was gonna break at this point.

Y/N chuckled at Hajime's despairful expression "I like that, do it again!"

"W-why..–" Hajime stuttered his entire body shaking

"Why? Because, feeling the despair of having ur precious friend betray you. Is so..." Y/N's eyes started to swirl like a pool of despair endless.

Hajime looked at Y/N with widen eyes, this..wasn't the Y/N L/N he knew..before..

Fuyuhiko's reaction

"Second traitor? The fuck are you spitting out?!" Fuyuhiko spouted, having his grip on his pondium

"Puhuhuhu...having to put up a brave mask to hide that..true self of yours...oh! What despair!" Junko squealed

"Shut the fuck up!? And Explain how is there a fucking second traitor?!" Fuyuhiko shouted, glaring daggers at the ultimate despair.

"Oh, yeahh...The second traitor is..your beloved little Y/N L/N" Junko looked at her nails, unbothered.

"The fuck are you saying?!? Y/N can't be the...–" Fuyuhiko cursed

"Fuyuhiko." Y/N muttered

"..." Fuyuhiko widen his eyes, he was seeing a unfamiliar look on Y/N...

She had a crazed expression, her smile grinning widely and her eyes swirling with a pool of despair.

Sonia's reaction

"W-what nonsense are you talking about?..." Sonia murmured as she placed a hand on her chest

"It isn't nonsense, It's like...a hint." Junko said in a monotone voice

"A hint..?" Sonia muttered

"Yes! A fairly hint with a dash of dramaticness of course!" Junko announced with a very accent voice

"...but if i correctly remember..there was only one traitor how could be there two?" Sonia asked

"Puhuhuhu! I mean saying there's two traitors would ruin the fun, fun!" Junko chuckled imitating monokuma's voice and holding a monokuma to her face

"No!..I refuse to believe there is another traitor amongst us!.." Sonia objected, but in her eyes was full of disbelief...she won't believe someone who is the ultimate despair saying there's another traitor which will turn out to be her...dear friends.

"Well, sorry princess but...there is one! and that one isss...Y/N FUCKING L/N!!" Junko announced having her tongue out and her arms crossed like an x

Sonia froze, looking at Y/N... whose face was a crazed look... was this the Y/N she knew?..

Akane's reaction

"What? was your head dropped once as a child?" Akane said, her eyebrows raised as she looked at the ultimate despair "there's no way there's another traitor! and if there is, I'll beat their asses!"

"No, sadly...but even you try to deny it..it'll only fuel my...FUCKING DESPAIR! HAHAHAHA!!" Junko's voice went to a tired and sad tone to a crazed and psychotic tone.

"Jeez, are ya really that obsessed with this despair thing? Your treating it like it's a delicious pork belly steak!" Akane concluded as she had her index finger in her ear

"really...? hmm..that's a shame..but anyway the second traitor is Y/N..L/N." Junko's voice went back to the tired voice

Akane now took the situation seriously "Now, you're really damaged in the head! there's no way Y/N is the second traitor!"

"Yeah, well sorry to burst your bubble if u have one that is.." Junko said with her original tone

"Y/N! prove this little despair loving freak wrong, before i kick her ass!" Akane was enraged cracking her knuckles

"why would i prove her wrong, when it's basically true?" Y/N said

"Yeah, what she sa- what?" Akane was taken aback "What do u mean?"

"Yeah, what she said is true!" "I'm the second traitor" Y/N grinned as they winked

Akane stood in her podium...in disbelief, did she...lose one of her closest people again..? Kazuichi's reaction

"Hey, this isn't the time to joke around ya know?" Kazuichi stammered as he scratched his beanie "Joke? ...oh forgive me if i sounded like a clown..." Junko sighed with her tone all sad "But, this isn't quite the joke, you really wanna laugh at. oh wait, i do wanna laugh it!" She snickered "Y-you're really crazy!..." Kazuichi shouted as he looked at the ultimate despair "I take that as a compliment!" Junko said with a cutesy voice "but, seriously who is this...second traitor..like is there even possible there could be one?" Kazuichi asked "Yeah, and that chick over there is the traitor." Junko pointed at Y/N kazuichi's eyes widen "Hey! a-accusing others is wrong you know! especially miss Y/N!" He pointed at Junko "Puhuhuhuh, too bad for you sharkey teeth!"
