Some information( or headcanons) on the future family of Kaga and Megami.

⚠️ the children are not canon. I made them up. ⚠️

Between the four, Ichiro is the tallest, Megami is the second tallest, Ikumi is the third, and then there's Kaga, who's the shortest.

Here are the heights just to get an idea on how they look like next to each other :D

Ichiro and Ikumi are two years apart, just like Megami and Kencho.

Ichiro is named after his grandfather, which he despises. So, he would rather be called Hiro for short, but it's only for family and friends he trusts. If Megami or Kaga are upset with him, they will call him by his FULL name. They do the same with Ikumi. Don't worry. They rarely get in trouble, and if they do, it's for a good reason.

Ikumi and Ichiro took Megami's looks. They both have silver-blue-ish hair, but it's slightly darker. The only thing they got from Kaga appearance wise is his eyes. The blue with the spiral eyes he got. Ichiro got some of Kaga's facial features.

The main reason why Ichiro was the first, first born baby boy is because the Y chromosome came from Kaga. Considering that Kaga is the first born male in his family and is the only child, there was a chance of their baby being a boy.

Ikumi and Ichiro have that cold, icy look like their mother does. They're still living in an environment where affection and emotions are not allowed. At least, not around the rest of the family.

Between the four, they do show affection and emotions towards one another whenever Ichirou is not around.

Ichiro and Ikumi are very close siblings. They don't have that rift that Megami and Kencho have. Megami decided to change it and not let her children experience the same thing as she did with Kencho. She made sure they were close and by each other's side as siblings should be.

They both do know about Ichiko's existence. Ichiro doesn't really care about her because his main focus is Saikou Corp. However, Ikumi is much more interested in the topic of Ichiko leaving the family and wonders where she is now. She does try to do research on her when she has free time.

Kaga and Megami love their children dearly. They adore them too ,more than anything.

Ichiro and Ikumi are slightly eccentric because they spend a lot of their time with their father and grandparents of their father's side. They don't see Megami's father as a grandfather. They do see Tsuma as their grandmother, but it's only a formal relationship.

Ichirou gave his own grandson trauma and pretty much ignored his granddaughter. Ichirou doesn't care about Kaga and what happens to him because his only role as a male in the family was to give him heirs. Ichirou is willing to kill Kaga if he gets out of line. He can change his mind if Kaga does something right and something extraordinary for Saikou Corp.

Tsuma is very formal with them. Just like she did with Megami, she didn't try to build a strong bond with them because she was taught to keep herself out on how the Saikou children are raised.

They have a very bad relationship with their uncle and their cousins (at least when they are younger).

When Ichiro and Ikumi were much younger, their cousins saw them as threats and enemies because of how Kencho raised them and told them how Ichiro and Ikumi were a bother in the family and a disgrace to the Saikou family. Kencho doesn't like Kaga, not even one bit. Kencho thinks he's a lunatic. He sees him as someone who should be cleaning the floor he stands on, not being the CEO of Saikou Corp.

Kaga and Kencho don't talk much. If they do, it's mostly Kencho talking smack towards him. Kaga ignores him or scares him off.

Kencho was the first to go against the idea of Kaga and Megami getting married.

"You can disown me if you need him that much." That's what Kencho said to his father once he found out Megami and Kaga were getting married.

Kencho also sees Kaga as an enemy because he is the reason why Ichiro was born. Kencho wanted to be the first one to give his father the first, firstborn male, but instead, he had a daughter as his first. Kencho spoils his children a lot but does also raise them the same way his father raised him and Megami.

Kencho had two children with his hot wife. One girl and one boy.

As Ichiro and Ikumi get older, they heal that rift between them and their cousins.

Their cousins are jealous of them for having a good family. A loving mother and a father who is as loud as ever who isn't scared to show his eccentric side and does spend time with them. They respect Megami and Kaga as they get older, but when they were younger, they didn't because of how Kencho raised them to see their aunt and uncle. There's a lot of drama, lol.

There is a timeline where Kencho and Kaga get along, but in this one, they don't.

Ikumi and Ichiro do question how their father was able to pursue their mother.

Megami is known to be the most gorgeous, intelligent, and powerful woman in Japan (so far) that Ichiro and Ikumi can't really believe that their father was able to win their mother's heart. They always ask Kaga questions about it.

"What did you do to pursue her?"

"Did you buy her something?"

"Did you accept a deal from her?"

"Did she drag you to marry her?"

"Were you her only option?"

"Did you rock her world that good?"

Among others. Kaga doesn't really answer because he doesn't even know himself on how Megami fell for him.

They go out as a family to spend time together. They go to the park, go on vacation, go to cafes, restaurants, etc.

Ikumi and Ichiro are always next to their parents when they are working on something for Saikou Corp, or in meetings, or events.

Kaga can either be building or sketching out new products for Saikou Corp, so the two would help Kaga with it. If Megami is working on something on her computer related to Saikou Corp, they are next to her, watching what she's doing and Megami would teach them on what to do, how to do it, etc.

Ichiro and Ikumi admire their parents a lot and look up to them.

Kaga is the fun parent, while Megami is the serious parent. It's like good cop and bad cop type of thing.

Ichiro and Ikumi don't like getting their parents mad, especially if Kaga is the one being mad.

If Kaga is mad or just pissed off, they know they fucked up. Kaga rarely got angry with them or anyone. He doesn't have anyone who can get under his skin or push his buttons compared to Megami, who has Kencho, who knows how to get under her skin and push her buttons. He is the quiet type. If he's mad, he'll work on his inventions to calm himself down and keep his mind distracted. If not that, he's either planning something. He's a mad scientist. He can do anything to the individual and CEO of Saikou Corp. (He wouldn't hurt his own children. Just give them the silent treatment mostly to tell them that he needed space to calm down and think)

Kaga will go to Megami and calm down with her by telling her what happened. Unless he knows that Megami will get mad as well, then he won't. Megami is already scary enough, lol.

When the children were younger, they were very clingy towards Kaga. If Kaga wasn't around, then they would be clingy towards Megami.

Megami makes time to brush Ikumi's long hair to spend time with her and chat.

Ikumi and Ichiro have bodyguards whenever they go somewhere away from Saikou Corp. It doesn't matter where they go. They have at least two-four bodyguards protecting them.

Kaga was the one to take care of them both while Megami focused on Saikou Corp if she was needed badly or had to go to a meeting or event.

Megami made a promise to her children that she would always show them love and affection. She didn't want her children to experience what she went through with her own parents.

Kaga always made time for his children. He was surrounded by love by his parents. He wanted to do the same for them and spend as much time with them as possible like his parents did for him. And show them fun and most likely dangerous experiments. 😀

Problem Now Days

I understand that we gotta do what we gotta do for ourselves and ours. But c'mon. No where in that process do you have to lose your humanity. You can still do you and take care of yours while treating others with the respect they deserve. Or show that you still value human life. Some people struggle, others just watch. The ones that can make a big difference, only do minimal. The ones who are giving their all to make that change, are the ones who struggle as well. The struggle is real. Make a change. Be a part of the solution instead of increasing the problem or being a watcher. Like what are you doing standing around and just watch? A tree can't grow from you staring at the seed. You gotta do your part and take care of it. Tend to it.

C'mon people. You can do better. Children are the future. They deserve better. Cause right now, it looks like they got nothing to look forward to. They will end up being stuck in a world of chaos that no one wants to make a difference or a change in.

Keep it real ya'll and do better. If not for yourselves, then for the future generation

End-of-Splatoon thoughts.

Thinking about how since the very start, Splatoon has had a feature where players can draw and post artwork and spot them as graffiti on walls or billboards. Or how the weapons have always been paint brushes and rollers and ballpoint pens. Since its inception, Splatoon has been dedicated to engaging its players with the act of creation and creative expression, showing them how their art can build communities and (literally) change the world.

Thinking about finding golden human-made music discs buried underground for thousands of years, and a grand finale music festival. About the Voyager Golden Records. About those human handprints etched into concrete in Alterna. Did those human artists know it would end like this? First a fiery death and then, eventually, a worldwide celebration of music to represent our shared past, present, and future. Did they know that their songs, insignificant in the face of extinction, would one day become the solution that will save the next dominant life-form from the same fate?

Thinking about how eerily similar the Octarian domes are to Alterna. About how close Inklings and Octolings were to repeating the same mistakes as humans. But their doomed fates were undone not by some miracle technology or military power or a rocket, but by music.

Thinking about how humans wiped themselves out with war, and our parting gifts were liquid crystals that somehow paired with the DNA of primeval inklings and somehow infused them with our memories and culture and a Song. And 12,000 years in the future, that same Song will end a war.

Thinking about how art and music and punk culture and rock & roll and friendly competition and petty arguments and water guns aren’t uniquely human concepts, but the fundamental qualities of intelligent life. An inheritable spirit that can cross evolutionary bounds.

Thinking about the theme of Splatoon, that art and music and fun will not die with the human race. That every piece of art we create is a seed we sow for future generations to reap. That our legacy is ingrained into the crust of the earth. That long after we’re gone, the oceans will remember, and they’ll pick up where we left off.

Thinking about how Splatoon says that the essence of humanity –– the thing that will outlive us –– isn't war or prejudice or destruction or greed, it's a song.

I have two cute headcanons involving Kagami's children - Ichiro (or Hiro for short) and Ikumi.

Papa/Mama Duck

It is something they did when they were children. Considering that the two are really close to Kaga and having him as their favorite parent, Ichiro and Ikumi would follow him around like duckling following their mama duck. This would happen whenever the two didn’t have training or school related events going on.

Whenever Kaga walked around Saikou Corp, especially when he's working on something that had his full attention, Ichiro and Ikumi would be right behind him and following him in a single file line. They would have a big smile on their faces just being close to their crazy father. Kaga wouldn't notice them until one of them tugs his sleeve, or poke, or speak up, or even hug him.

Kaga would apologize and give them a kiss on the head before returning back to his duties, but this time, he would have his kids with him and actually know they are with him.

Same thing with Megami. Ichiro and Ikumi would follow their mother like duckling. Unlike Kaga, Megami does notice them following her right away. They can't really sneak up on her easily. So, as soon as they follow her around, Megami will notice and make them walk next to her rather than behind her.

Whenever Megami did catch her children following Kaga around, it would remind her of Kencho and her own father.

I believe that when Kencho was a child, he would follow his father around the same way as Ichiro and Ikumi do towards Kaga. Kencho would do it because he admired his father and wanted to be just like him. For Ikumi and Ichiro's case, they love being close to their father like any child would to their own parent.

Just like Mother

This headcanon involves only Megami and her children. Ichiro and Ikumi are obviously being trained to become CEO of Saikou Corp in the future, especially Ikumi if Ichiro decides not to take over the Corp. Their mother is their only example of a good CEO in their eyes (They don't like their grandfather much).

So whenever Megami is doing something for Saikou Corp that a CEO would be doing, Ikumi and Ichiro would watch and copy her. It doesn't matter what it is. They will copy her. Even what she's saying, they will copy her. Again, they're children during this time. Like any other child who loves their parent, they would copy them.

Ikumi and Ichiro want to be good CEOs just like their mother, so in their eyes, they believe it would be best if they watch their mother do something and then they will do it themselves.

It's something cute that I imagine they would do :)

I might do one for when they're older, but there are other things I want to post about them that really bug me and how I solved it, so that will probably be the next post, lol
