Does anyone here know anything about making fursuits/mascot head? I'm planning for a cosplay of Liliana from My Friendly Neighborhood ( I've attached a photo of her below) and making her head to wear like a mascot/fursuit head but I've never done something like this before so any advice is appreciated. A few of my questions are:

1) What are the best types of material (foam, fabric ((that still gives the illusion of felt or fleece)), mesh, etc) to use so I don't overheat? I live in Australia and the con is in our spring.

2) is there anyway to give the eyes the illusion of pingpong balls that stick out of the head?

3) Where would be the best places to provide air circulation?

4) how would I make the neck?

5) would it be possible for me to make the mouth open and close without making it looking too weird?

6) what is the best way to make her hair?

Being turned by your partner is something that can be incredibly intimate as long as both parties are consenting and the one being turned is 100% sure they want it. Hello! I've been an artist for around 5 to 6 years, and I still kinda suck at it! I do traditional art normally but I've been branching out to digital art as well. I mostly draw animals, anthropomorphic creatures, creatures in general, whatever beautifully ugly faces I can come up with, and sometimes human faces!

I classify as a furry but do not reblog a ton of furry stuff nor do I have a fursuit. I just like drawing and seeing anthropomorphic animals :3

The whole purpose of anthropomorphized animals in the first place was relatability and visual appeal. It's supposed to be something the viewer finds charming or cute or appealing. Sometimes it's for narrative or symbolism.

If someone has a crush on a character or just thinks they're hot, that's pretty normal? They're made to look humanoid, just with varying levels of animal features. People can find humanoid characters attractive, how many blue alien babes have you seen? Sexy demons with horns? They're not human, but some people find those kinds of characters hot. Monster fuckers, for another.

Humans make appealing designs for each other, big shocker right?

there is room to talk about the behaviors of certain people in the furry community but like, none of it is inherently tied to furry culture or like, having an anthro character or sona. I'm still rolling ideas around in my head, but so far my thoughts are:

Most of them would likely be some kind of vlogger/Influencer™

Oscar would also be an influencer but it would happen by complete accident. Like he's just out here doing a mundane hobby online and people like his vibe. guy who is so autistic about the fursuit creation process that he gains 1mil subscribers overnight.

Rather than a camp, the characters would gather for a friendly weekend reuinion on a family owned yacht that mysteriously breaks down in the middle of the ocean.

No kids this time, but the grief and the anger is still there.

Sun and Moon are brought into existance with the sole purposes of waiting on these kinds of people hand and foot. It is a thankless job. They are treated subhuman and expected to smile and grit through it. Their resentment towards the crew comes to a head the day their parties and games result in the death of a bot.

This isn't justice, it's just plain revenge. No forgiveness, no second chances, no mercy. The story doesn't end until all seven of them are dead.

Y/N is hired on last minute as additional staff to take care of matters they don't trust Sun and Moon with. Having been put through hell by this group and others like them for years by that point, they need very little convincing to lend a hand.

Uhhh they tag team with Sun/Moon to get the job done and then make out sloppy on the boat deck titanic style ✌️
