I think I wanna make, like, an actual fursona. I've been drawing my actual sona, Kanga, as a human and a kangaroo interchangeably for a bit now but I haven't really drawn and posted either of them (well, I've posted human Kanga a few times and kangaroo Kanga is my current pfp but I want to make it more official.) but now that I'm trying to focus on my art it seems like a logical and fun thing to do. Also, most furries I know seem to have lots of fun with their fursonas! My main concern is that I have no clue what a fursona is supposed to be or if there are rules. Like, how animalistic you can make your fursona before it's just an animal you slapped a name to or how human you can make it before it's just a catgirl slightly to the left. I realize that most people don't really care and I shouldn't either but I don't want to accidentally make a caricature ┐⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠┌

I'm sorry, i know yqy probably wouldn't want a very "out there" fursona but I think SJ would dictate what he can and can't wear and he's proud to just support his Xiao-jiu

i can somewhat agree but i was not asked what fursona i think shen jiu would pick for yue qingyuan. i was ambiguously asked to give headcanons so i elaborated on what was on my mind.

maybe sj would tell yqy to change his fursona to suit him, and i think yqy on some psychosexual level would really enjoy having sj exert that kind of control over his personal expression. hot, tbh.

but i'm not necessarily sure that sj would dictate him in that way specifically, and i honestly don't think sj would have yqy change his fursona to a cow. sj would (imo) more likely make yqy wear a harness, or a collar, or tell him what clothes he should wear if he's partialing unless he were feeling extremely possessive or sadistic.

this isn't just sj going "i want yqy to wear a slutty outfit for me" fursuits are pieces of art that take hundreds of hours to make yourself or thousands of hours to buy, and typically are used as a form of self-expression and to broadcast a character to the people around you.

what does sj actively want to broadcast to people about yqy other than "mine"? i can't really think of anything. making yqy change his main fursona for him is a form of powerplay that could accomplish that, and i don't think it's out of the question, but i think you're underestimating how intense a form of powerplay that is.

also, "sexy cow" is absolutely not the character sj wants to publicly broadcast yqy as. he would maybe be okay with a cute cow. but not sexy.

also. it’s intensely funny to me that like toby fox is like. both faceless but also absolutely not at all like. he’s not even obscuring his identity he just loves the little dog mascot he made. there’s a ton of photos of him out there and he’s made no effort to obscure them he literally just likes his pomeranian dog oc and uses him to represent himself.

see i already gave some of the drivers assigned fursonas but that's more what they'd be in a world where everyone's an anthro animal. i might need to give some of the drivers fursonas in a hypothetical scenario where they'd have actual fursonas...

Putting these together since they're kinda-sorted related.

A lot of the shipping stuff and relations to other characters can depend on who or what Ralsei ultimately is, and my current theory is that Ralsei actually has Kris's soul. In regards to shipping, I suppose that would really depend on individual preference. Is it weirder if Ralsei is just their adopted brother? Or just looks like him? Is it weirder if Ralsei is Kris's idealized self, but is also a part of themself that they discarded? Either way it's weird, I guess it just depends on what kind of weird you find exciting or repulsive. Just for myself, I feel like a romantic ship would overly complicate what already seems like a relationship with a lot of complicated feelings for Kris. I do find it interesting that the game keeps giving the player options to be that kind of close with Ralsei, but Kris on their own never seems that enthused about those options. Basically, I can't focus that much on any potential romance because I'm already too caught up in just far more strange and esoteric ideas for them.

And I think that Asriel would try to get along with Ralsei, but if Ralsei is a projection of Kris's desires and their own soul, I think he might be more focused on how Kris is dealing with all of this than how Ralsei feels. I don't think that Ralsei would really feel resentful of Asriel, at least not any more than Kris themself might feel some internalized turmoil at living in Asriel's shadow.
