OMG! I just saw an ad for Red One! Looks hilarious! I was interested because of Chris Evans, but also it's a CHRISTMAS movie??? I LOVE CHRISTMAS MOVIES! This will get me onto a theater!

If you have a morbid sense of humor, I have a movie to recommend.

Cold Pursuit. (It’s on Tubi right now for free, but says it’ll be leaving soon.)

Anyway, it’s a movie involving snow and mobs and stuff. Death. Shooting.

But it’s hilarious. I’ve seen it once already, and am currently watching it the second time and laughing. It knows what it’s doing xD

Lots of awkwardness. Also has Liam Neeson. If you are watching it for the laughs, make sure you watch it until the very end. 😆

Highly recommend.

New Favorites: UHF (1989) Dir. Jay Levey and Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985) Dir. Tim Burton

UHF and Pee-Wee's Big Adventure are childhood favorites of my mom's. I had watched Pee-Wee as a kid as well but not in a long time, so revisiting it was inevitable for me. UHF is something I only recently heard of but my mom convinced me to watch it because of how much her and my aunt and uncles loved it growing up.

The past couple nights I got a chance to watch them and they immediately became favorites. The humor is so unique to Weird Al and Pee-Wee Herman and watching these movies bring such a pure joy to its audience because each film exudes the passion and silliness of it's actors.

I can't help but be reminded of my mom and her humor so these movies are super comforting, funny, and refreshing for me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these movies!!!

Highly reccomend giving them a shot if you haven't, especially if you are already into or at least intrigued by Weird Al or Pee-Wee Herman!

The movie "Joy Ride" is so so very good. It's hilarious. All the characters are so good. I wasn't expecting it to be a heartwarming movie but it was and I can't wait for the DVD to come out.

Today I finished watching A Christmas Story. I saw the first half in high school last year, but we didn't finish.

I can look past the edgy humor. For what it's worth it's sweet, classic and heartwarming. I loved Ralphie's mother, best character imo. After Ralphie got into a fight with the bully and she came to hug him, it made me cry so much. It was the most powerful scene in the movie.
