I've said this on twitter i forget if i've said it here but i'm still not over the scene where Cassidy gets chopped into little pieces to be shipped out in a box; because i said to my husband (who had seen it before) the scene prior 'oh if i wanted to get Cassidy out i'd chop him into little pieces and mail him' and then caught myself and went wait. That's just a Me thought there's no way they'd actually ever do that, this kind of shit doesn't happen in tv shows i just really like extreme and casual gore.

And then it happens and i celebrate like my winning team just scored a goal, for ONCE a tv show matches my freak, for ONCE they feed my little freakpervert brain!!

Fun fact: a lot of the story ideas I have came from the world I designed for an Apocalypse World game, and at the time I was reading @attollogame and loved Sysba and wound up making a character with a similar premise of being a god banished to live in a human body. That character took on a life of their own and became like everybody's favourite NPC. But they were really specific to that game's story at that point and were very fultifaceted, so when I started writing Signal Hill (which has a totally different plot) I decided to split their role in the story into two different characters, Yvette and Aldrich.

In other words, if you trace it far enough back, 1/3 of my main cast is just Sysba from Attollo

no i still don't like men i mainly just got tired of having my identity that easily accessible coz that inherently leads to ppl asking about it which i dont enjoy😭 i also just have a lot of feelings abt who i am in a way i understand but randos online reading my bio definitely wouldnt and im far too private to even attempt to explain it and just putting "i only like women" or smtg in my bio would sound really terfy. but like. my lack of attraction to men is rly important to me identity-wise but it's also like impossible to get into my specific kind of alienation from basically every identity. especially in a tumblr bio. so i opted to just remove any specific label entirely coz i dont like talking abt myself wrt these topics so it seemed like the easiest choice
