После своего посещения России, Нил и Эндрю решили вернуться домой через Финляндию. Теперь уже Эндрю думает, что это была одна из самых больших ошибок в его жизни.

Как только они приезжают в Хельсинки, он то и дело начинает видеть в толпе их. Людей в невероятно уродливых башмаках? Сандалях? Калошах? Как бы этот кошмар не назывался. А ещё он видит как Нил провожает этих людей глазами, и узнает этот маньяческий взгляд.

Естественно, на следующее же утро Нил возвращается в их номер, а на его ногах надето это. Лицо Эндрю кривится в отвращении, а Нил радостно щебечет о том, какие они классные и удобные.

- Это преступление против моды, - говорит Эндрю.

- Если бы ты примерил их, то не говорил бы так.

Эндрю глядит на своего мужа тяжелым взглядом.

- Ой, я забыл, смотри, их можно украсить! - с этими словами Нил лезет в карман джинсов и достает оттуда что-то вроде резинового значка в виде рыжего отпечатка лапы, и прикрепляет его на левый башмак. Эндрю упорно отказывается называть это обувью.

- Ты неисправим, да? - бросает он и уходит в душ не дожидаясь ответа Нила.

Вернувшись в Штаты, они снова погружаются в свою спортивную рутину. Закончив первую тренировку, вся команда возвращается в раздевалку. Эндрю открывает свой шкафчик, чтобы взять оттуда полотенце и смену белья, и видит пару чёрных башмаков. На правом белыми резиновыми значками выложены его инициалы - AJMJ, на левом прикреплён логотип Мазерати.

Он проворачивается и ловит немного смущенный взгляд Нила.

«Попробуй» - одними губами шепчет Нил, на что Эндрю закатывает глаза и подцепляет пальцем ремешки башмаков.

- Даже не думай, что я надену это уродство на улицу, - тихо бормочет Эндрю, проходя мимо своего лучезарно улыбающегося мужа в душевые.

Jazz was only supposed to be touring her college campus, but the minute she saw the giant of a man hiding in the alley, she knew her day was about to get a whole lot crazier.

Waylon was sitting and taking a breather when footsteps approached. He looked up, ready to start running, but was startled to see a girl with red hair and his brother’s eyes smiling awkwardly at him.

“So, this is awkward, but is your name Waylon?”

He slowly nodded, and she smiled.

“Dad talks about you a lot. He’s going to be so excited to see you, I better make sure mom is driving.” She pulls out her phone and clicks on a contact before he can respond.

“What’s up, Jazzypants?”

He knew that voice. It was more mature and deeper than the last time he had heard it, but he knew his little brother’s voice.

“Jack?”
