HAZBIN HOTEL REDESIGNS!!!!

I recently watched Hazbin Hotel for the first time! I've never been into it before, and I vaguely remember it when the pilot first came out years ago but I never even watched THAT!!

It's not............. the best show ever BUT I HAD FUN WATCHING IT!!!!!! I mainly like it bc I love Catholicism and the bible SOOOOO I'm rewriting it and I'll be posting ALL MY IDEAS!!!!!! (Ppl are gonna hate it LOL)

CHARLIE: OK SO I basically got rid of all the goat stuff that she (didn't) have going on ASIDE from the hooves hahaha, I didn't draw them here but she still has those bc I think they're COOL

So taking inspo from the fact that Charlie's design was based off porcelain dolls and marionettes, Charlie is LITERALLY a doll come to life!!! Lucifer and Lilith, bc they couldn't naturally conceive a child (bc Lilith is dead + is known to be responsible for the death of newborns), basically just made a child-doll and gave it life with their demonic magic!!!

I ALSO WANT CHARLIE TO CONSTANTLY BE TEETERING THE LINE OF LOOKING CREEPY AND FUCKED UP!!!! She's literally a living doll, I need ppl to look at her sometimes and be unsettled (sheep in wolf's clothing)

VAGGIE: Like Charlie, I'm completely throwing the animal (moth) motif that Vaggie (supposably) had. I'm mainly leaning more into Hotel Manager/body guard. WELCOME TO THE GUN SHOW!!!!!!

Honestly, I've changed Vaggie's design over 4 times and it's subject to change STILL. I gave her a cloak bc I think it's epic and I think she's epic and you'll be seeing her in future posts with what her outfit looks like without the cloak, it's a sleeveless collared shirt and she's got long fingerless gloves on :) AND THE CLOAK IS ALSO THERE BC I THINK SHE'S EDGY!!!! She's edgy and emo and amazing

ALASTOR: I took a lot of inspiration for Alastor's design from Dr. Daddy-o, a radio DJ/host from New Orleans in the 1940's!!! I LOVE his voice and I wanted to base Alastor off of a BLACK RADIO HOST bc he's you know, BLACK!!!!!!!! Idk who that white boy is in cannon

He and Charlie are tied for the tallest in the cast, they're the same height (not counting his antlers)

I wanted to make Alastor look pretty human looking, aside from his antlers and deer ears ofc bc I don't think he needs to look scary all the time, he usually uses his words to provoke ppl anyway (and if that doesn't work THEN he'll use force) (Wolf in sheep's clothing)

NIFFTY: Niffty's design is based off Rosie the Riveter (WE CAN DO IT!!!!) especially with her her top, her hair and her headband/bandana.

I also made her taller than she is in cannon bc she's not the kind of character that the audience or even the other characters take seriously so in my head adding a couple inches to her will make me take her more seriously LOL

it took you and connie three, almost four years of being together to decide to live together. by the second year of living in the house, there was a baby and a ring, so it was safe to say the both of you were comfortable. with the holiday season coming around, the third christmas you’d spend in this home, an idea came to mind to throw a christmas party. there wasn’t a reason it was a bad idea, it was your home, and there was nothing but space for it.

“i mean, if that’s what you wanna do.” connie said, a shrug following quickly afterwards. “that response feels like, no, don’t do it.” you replied, a puzzled look overtaking your face. “if you wanna throw a party, i’m down. i’m also more than happy if you don’t, though.” he said, making you shake your head at him. “i was only weary of doing things like that because kylie was so young, but she’s not a newborn anymore, i feel like there’s no reason why i can’t now.” connie nodded, “if you don’t think it won’t be too much work, do it.”

crazy eyes elf recognised Laios from when baby Delgal was born and the wedding party and almost kills him bc he thinks Laios might be after the throne (which is interesting bc does that mean he actually time traveled since the elf could remember him or is the living paintings universe a separate thing from reality but still flows like reality does aka they have memories of visitors from the outside and stuff? or is it just the elf who could recognise/remember him for some reason)

Laios gives up on the paintings bc even tho he ate in it, he brought none of it back

Chilchuck has Mimic trauma (monsters who usually pose as and mimic treasure chests) and hates the bastards

Here's notes I have on MCSM New Order's (as of S1 anyway pretty much everyone in S2 is part of it lol) families. And when I say "notes" I mean it lol, like this is just what I randomly typed out in between classes back in November (with a couple recent additions). Grammar and spelling isn't 100% and nothing is serious. You're welcome.

Why am I posting this? For FUNNSIES. Also to hopefully share my obsession with block people worldbuilding and stories of my future MCSM fanfic with others! To encourage discussion and questions, because I like that. It's fun and I often find it helps me out greatly with writing! I hope anyone reading this enjoys! 😁

Olivia has a single dad (mom MIA) who moved in with his sister and nows helps at her farm. While maybe both dad and aunt are super busy and thus don't have the most time with her, they greatly love their Olivia and Olivia them. Her aunt thought for a while that her want to pursue Redstone was silly ("you have everything you need right here, and all that gallbittyglok is ridiculous!") but soon came to support her dream when seeing how passionate she was. Dad supported her Redstone interest from the start, proud that she was so smart and could understand things far beyond him. They also care for Jesse and Axel, happy Olivia has friends. She was super shy timid bahbee so extra impactful

Axel is adopted, with parents (haven't come up w occupations for them) and a couple siblings (one is older, other is younger) who care for him but don't see eye to eye at all. Axe very much black sheep. They were always disappointed with his trouble making and disagreed with his idolization of Magnus/want to pursue the griefer lifestyle. The fam greatly appreciated Jesse and Olivia as they could see the positive influence they had on Axel (also worried at Axel's lack of friends and chasing away of everyone else). Axel even became cuddlier with the family after Jess and Liv helped him open up and learn how to better express his feelings. While they still don't quite understand the griefer-ness they see he is doing so respectfully and are proud of his heroics.

Petra was a spawned baby (humans are kinda like pink sheep and have a rare chance to spawn every so often, babies having an ability to so but EXTRAORDINARY rarely. They are usually around 6 mos. old in comparison to newborns), and her cries attracted a pack of wolves who adopted her and loved her as if she were a wolf herself. Petra thought she WAS a wolf for a long time, even learning wolf body language and behaviors. Her speech sounds were mimics of nature sounds for the first few years of her life, only learning human speech/stuffs when someone came and tamed a couple of wolves from her pack. The humans in the nearby town insisted she start going to school and learning the ways of people (not that they helped her at all). Dealing with people made her even more survival oriented and hesitant to spend too much time with people. She always considered it beyond her to have and trust human friends until she met Lukas in middle school. She was struggling and Lukas offered to tutor her, Petra insisting that she pay him back with one of her famous trades, beginning their relationship. Lived with Villagers in their... villages, a couple times in the past, maybe why she's into the trade biz?

Jesse's parents care very deeply for him and have always done their best to support him. Always called him their "young warrior" upon learning about Jesse's love of the OG Order, particularly Gabriel. They're the ones who gifted him his armor stand seen in S1 Ep1. His mother is a miner and his father a gardener (that one day took a job helping with Olivia's aunt's gardens, which is how Olivia and Jesse met). They're simple but happy people. Mom is a bit more serious than the dad but still willing to have fun. Dad is a bit of a doofus, mom loves him anyway. Jesse gets his tenacity from Mom and goofball-ness from Dad. They also greatly care for Olivia and Axel, coming to see them as an unofficial son and daughter. I have a lot more about these two but that's the gist. Need to develop other guardians lol

Lukas' parents are complicated. They're snooty rich-ish creeps who have a terrible relationship (on-off? Similar to divorced? Idk there's drama), and had Lukas more as an accessory. Due to weirdness his sweet little (paternal?) Grandma became his primary caretaker from a young age and helped him become the wonderful Lukas we know today. Nurtured his love for writing?

I'm figuring out the appearances of the other families but for now Jesse's mom has the same colored hair and eyes as him, which are brown and green respectively as I like to play with Red Suspenders!Jesse. His dad has tan hair and blue eyes, and the way the hair grows out from the head is similar in both parents so all 3 family members share this trait. The mom, while only an average height, is taller than her husband and Jesse is smack dab between them. I think it's cute and also unusual in a cool way to not only have a woman be taller than her male partner, but also her son. Plus the dad is just short AF considering how short Jesse is lmao

I think it's a very similar situation with Red Hairclip!Jesse (who I also like to play as), except her mom instead has features like hers as opposed to the brown hair and green eyes in the previous passage. The dad doesn't change lol

Oh, I have a parent headcanon!

Well, several actually. All different ways to figure out how Ivan/Sua blood relation would work out (since this particular concept is very fun to me)

So, from the fact that Ivan is the only character whose date-of-birth we don't know, it's safe to assume he wasn't born in captivity (and the rest of the cast, therefore, were).

Which means we need to figure out how Sua's parents would be pets, while Ivan's parents would be free. I got 3 ideas:

1) Ivan and Sua are full siblings

In this case, Sua's parents would run off shortly after her birth. Either they couldn't take a newborn with them, or she was already separated from them, either option is highly likely, imo.

The two of them, now free, would have another child together, but since we know that Ivan was back in captivity at a pretty young age, I imagine their freedom didn't last long.

2) Ivan and Sua are half-siblings

Similar to the previous one, but only one of the parents escapes, then finds love with another human on the outside (or just an unplanned pregnancy lol). If it's Sua's mother, then nothing really changes, but if it was the father, then the escape can possibly happen even before Sua's birth (this is interesting for purposes of calculating Ivan's real gae, since he is approximately 1 year younger than Sua, but him being 22 and her being 23 might mean several months of age difference up to 1 year and 11 months. That's a pretty large gap! I really think that his age is calculated by how old he was presumed to be at his date of adoption, an that was used as his "date of birth". But we don't really know how old was Ivan actually vs. how old he was presumed to be)

3) Ivan and Sua are cousins

Exists mostly to imagine Ivan's parents as peope who lived a long time in the outside world (mostly bc this hc allows for his parents to gain freedom at a very young age)

These are far from the only options to reconcile their canon backstories w/ the sibs headcanon, but these are the ones I like :)

my favorite would probably be the first ( the other two are amazing as well ! ), though i hope that if sua’s parents really did have ivan after, that they didn’t completely forget about sua, and still cared about her :(

to expand on it a bit, maybe sua is a result of a pet human breeding facility ? or to be more specific, her parents were selectively bred to produce sua . ( kinda like some dogs sadly )

if ivan was their 2nd child, sua’s parents probably did love each other, and had ivan willingly after . though if they didn’t stay with sua, i would guess they were unhappy with their circumstances . im guessing that a lot of breeding facilities . . don’t have the best environments, or quality in general .

( and maybe on a sadder note, sua’s parents left sua because she would only be a reminder of the circumstances they used be in . )

anyways, sua’s parents must had been pretty intelligent if they escaped, but it depends on the security quality . ( maybe sua got their intelligence since she’s good at mental math tehe ) but after they escaped, they had ivan .

not for a very long time tho, since as you said, ivan was back in captivity himself not long after, probably at 3, or 4 .

no one asked for this but it’s fun making lists so here are the newborn things I actually needed or used frequently:

one place to put him down in every room when I need my hands free (for me, it’s a snuggleme lounger, a quilt on a table or rug, and a baby bouncer)

at least one baby wrap or soft carrier, but you’ll probably have to cycle through lots of different ones before you find one that fits. I tried solly, ergobaby, baby bjorn, infantino, and the beco 8. I loved infantino for the newborn stage (super easy to get in and out of) but switched to the beco when he got heavier and adore it.

carseat + a super lightweight foldable stroller caddy you can click the carseat in and out of (this makes quick trips to the store soooo much easier than hauling the big stroller out)

heavy duty stroller if you go on a lot of long walks (I got a bob stroller secondhand and love it sooooooo much but wouldn’t want to cart it around for errands)

upstairs place for him to sleep (crib) and downstairs place for him to sleep when his sitter is here (bassinet, but could also be a pack n play) + sheets

changing pad (I had the peanut changer pad but my mom claimed he didn’t like it so we switched to a traditional one with washable cloth covers. both were fine)

bottles & nipples

cloth diapers to use as burp cloths

4-5 lightweight swaddling blankets

a mix of short sleeve onesies & zippered footie pajamas

2-3 swaddles in a brand you like (we tried about fifty different kinds and settled on the swaddleme ones… I think any of the others would’ve worked too I just hadn’t learned the houdini/batwing swaddle trick to prevent him from escaping)

baby monitor (get a cheap security camera type and avoid the baby gear price markup)

more diapers and wipes than seem humanly possible for one baby to use (then triple it)

mini fridge to store overnight bottles in the nursery if you live in a two-story place or the kitchen is far away

car window shade decal thing to keep the sun off them in the car

laundry hamper for the nursery

diaper pail (honestly a trash can would work fine too but I do like our dekor pail)

baby bathtub

a foldable changing pad for on the go is nice, but honestly I’ve changed him on a blanket many times and it’s no big deal

things that seemed necessary but weren’t, at least for me:

bottle sterilizer

baby swing

rocking chair (he enjoys it but doesn’t seem to need it and prefers to be lightly bounced a little when he’s upset)

diaper bag/backpack (I just use my purse)

Idk I feel like my mom bought him a ton of swings, play gyms, interactive toys, etc that I assume he’ll probably be interested in later? but this kid is pretty content to just kick & look at stuff and also I’m trying to encourage a low-toy lifestyle lol

its pretty much implied canonically that uno does self harm. i didn't really paid attention to this at the start but since i started playing a year or so ago this really got my attention and i was intrigued as fuck

heres what i mean:

you can say its only one of his skills, and indeed, it is lmao

but for me thats a little beyond..uno can hurt himself to drink his own blood if hes out of people or creatures, and the implications on this are rather worrying

uno hurts himself to feed himself, but damn. hes a literal newborn and has passed to a bunch of traumatic things, he loved someone and lost her on the same day, he probably doesnt even know how to talk and doesnt know how to live by himself. this whole thing going on would absolute break someone's mind, especially since we are talking about someone who is an baby trapped into an adults body.

he doesnt know a single thing about life, he only knows about death, and he only knows HE caused all these deaths. he's an absolute monster, and he probably pretty much see himself as a nasty monstrous thing.

so, the odds that he would feel like he deserves to suffer, that he deserves to be hated and be abandoned, forgotten by the world, while still begging not to disappear are enormous, which would make him go on a depressive spiral

its not about staying alive anymore, its about feeling pain, its about making "him" feel what "he" deserves, its not he doing that to himself as a person, its about he doing that as the "hideous monster" who lives inside of him.

he probably got the catch of being a corrupted highlander, which mostly probably would give him a bigger resistence, even if hes not immortal, he wouldnt die so easily, especially if well fed, so, since he does hurt himself to eat (aka drink but this sounds weird for me while formatting so..lol), he would ABSOLUTELY hurt himself to suffer

i wonder how atrocious his body would look like if he stopped eating, he wouldnt have the strenght to renegerate anymore, so he would be a walking body, all visible bones, cuts all over his body, if not missing limbs

and to be honest? he would probably starve himself to death, he does not want to hurt people (or animals or monsters), he does not want to lose more people, he just wants to not disappear and live a normal life he was denied since the second he was born, he was forced into being this ugly monster he hates so much. and this monster is what will keep him alive, is what will force himself out of the control of his own body, is what will possess him into murdering more and more, at the point its only for fun, he doesnt need to be fed anymore

anyway..i want to do a separated post about the whole monster topic since i have a drawing in mind for it and a whole text in mind already

having paternal feelings towards a character is harsh cuz i project onto him a lot and i feel like im seeing the small me instead of a 2d thing..i love my son dude, i wish him the best forever and ever, he will be happy one day.. (did i cried writing this? oh yeah a lot)

Though I suppose overall for me who is a “life sucks so much already I’m not reading angst in my spare time”, rreereading your story so many times has sort of trained(?) me for it, because I kind of know that sitting through the pain only gave me such sweet intimacy later.

Or maybe we just have different understanding of angst? Because for me once they have established the foundation of trust that “no matter what happens we are going to be here for each other, for the championships, the pregnancies, the parenting, the long-distance relationship and the so sweet life together” , then is just growing into themselves, growing up, and growing stronger. Not to mention even if said foundation was not acknowledged out loud (yet?) they are still actually actively trying to baby trap each other hahahaha.

So I was just sort of doing rereads and calmly waiting for the next chapters, now you say the sequel(if it happens) is going to be not happy?????? They have a baby! That’s grounds for a happy story(in fiction) right???? Right??

Hmm so I think maybe angst was the wrong word then! its not gonna be a happy story in the sense that the plot wont be 'max and charles live happily ever after with a baby', theres still going to be some shit going on. Ur 100% right that there's always sweetness scattered in within that, it's not just angst for the sake of angst, and they'll at least be able to outright support each other in the sequel without like jumping through hoops to quantify what they are to each other or whatever. So in that sense maybe what i mean is more that it won't be a fun fairytale epilogue kind of vibe, there will still be stuff they need to figure out?

also this is going to sound so pretentious im so sorry but the first two fics are heavily heavily written around the idea of gender. if you cut max and charles out of the entire rest of it it's just a story about two equals who love each other and are trying to find a common language to communicate that, but once you add in gender roles and expectations and judgement it all becomes this huge fucking mess even though the core of it is something so simple. the sequel is probably going to be kind of similar, but more along the lines of defining what a family is to them outside of their own expectations or trauma. so ya sorry to summarize theres room for intimacy and happiness and love and all that but there's also a heaviness if that makes sense. Kinda like what we have now

they also have just basic issues honestly. newborns cant really fly so max cant travel with charles for a lot of the beginning of the season. charles wants to be home as much as he can but he's kinda torn between his family and his job. they miss each other! the baby misses her mom!! kinda screws with everyones head a little, especially max who grew up without a mother! they try their best but its just hard sometimes my friend

What is your top 10 characters Brba/Bcs universe and why ?

Kim Wexler - Her mommy issues + troubled childhood + her whole thing of ignoring her past and pushing forward while trying to make a good life for herself is something very relatable for me. Plus shes beautiful and gorgeous and insanely smart and charming and literally everything about her is amazing to me. She is literally everything!!!

Jimmy McGill - I mean how the hell can you not love him? Yes he's deeply flawed or whatever but hes got so many great qualities. I find it interesting how hes always running from his own self. Idk I just really fucking love him and everything about him like his entire personality and all his problems and whatnot. Also he's just a super fun guy to me soooo.

Skyler White - She went through so fucking much that she really really didn't deserve. She's very kind and loving and smart. She's just a very tough character I guess. And also super gorgeous and also I would NEVER start a meth empire without her permission!!! Also I would let her fuck whoever she wanted and then I would get on my knees and apologize to HER for not being enough.

Mike - He seems all rough and mean on the outside, and I guess he kinda is for the most part, but he's also a very loving and caring guy. The love he has for his son, and Stacey and Kaylee, and Nacho and Jesse and Gus is just very endearing.

Howard Hamlin - He was just a 43 year old child. A little newborn baby. Ok I don't know what to say about him because I'm running out of thoughts but..... I just really love his perseverance to get through his shitty life.

Nacho Varga - He was just so compelling, everything about him. His story is just so beautifully tragic I guess. He kept running from something he was never going to escape. He fought so so hard and lived such a torturous and painful life.....

Jesse Pinkman - He's just a very tortured guy who finally finds some peace in the end. I hope he's living it up in Alaska.

Walter White - Super cool how he went from a sympathetic hero all the way to a villain as time slowly passed. Hes so mean...and stuff lol

McWexler's Cigarette - I just really appreciated my time on the show. It was a great learning experience for me and I'll always be close friends with the Better Call Saul cast (we have dinner together every night and we drink tequila and chain smoke and give random civilians law advice because we are all besties forever)

Since @parasite-core asked, I'll tell a bit about my OCs just like I said in the last post.

Kyaran Yaziegat might be the 1st or 2nd OC here that I created. She's a dark elf, that just like every other of her race, lives in Umbrahylion. All elves don't gain many muscles in general (tho it doesn't mean they're not strong) but she's is a monster indeed. Even at a young age, around 108, she's undoubtedly one of the strongest. The fact that her family is the "leader" of the town they live, and since she already did amazingly well at some Biannual Fighting Event, the Queen personally spoke with her already and got some interest over her.

A little bit about her and her family now. Her family is the most known on their town, and over the years also in other towns too, even in different caves. Not only because they're the "leader" (I'm not finding the best word to describe this lol), but also because the Yaziegats are known for the men being amazing warriors and the women amazing makers of fine jewerly and maybe clothes too. And as you can see, Kyaran broke that thing that tradition that has going on for over six generations once she asked her brothers to train her to be so good like them. Her parentsz basically mother who really disliked that, tried to not let it happen but Kyaran is really an arrogant bitch and didn't care about it. Dark elves are prideful, but she is over the top. She doesn't plan much attacks to other creatures not totally because she's stupid but because she believes she doesn't need it, since she's really strong. And she's right about it tho, she's really a monster when fighting. I have more plans for her, this is more like the "beginning".

I first created Arcane Naethyra (she/they) like "what if I was a fantasy creature?" and that's is why she is mostly an healer that also knows some magic, because I don't see myself being a fighter. I changed them over the time but never the base. Arcane is a (supposedly only) wood elf from Shelnöre, the capital of Leen Alora. And Naethyra are the Royal Family, which the current queen is their mother, Faline Naethyra, and they have five siblings. Tho she doesn't live there anymore. Some years ago, Arcane managed to run away without no one noticing, some people think she just disappeared, others think she's dead by now.

Arcane is the 3rd oldest, and before she had any younger sibling, Faline started to be a bit more rigid with her. Arcane was confused and a bit sad at first, but had hope that she was only being like that because she was the youngest, and so had more to learn. It reached a point where they became really happy when Faline announced she was pregnant: which meant, in some years Arcane wouldn't be the youngest and so her mother wouldn't be so stiff with her. It didn't really happen tho. Faline had later more two kids, twins, and she was always worst to Arcane, sometimes just with little stuff but Arcane always noticed that. Tired of living there and not being interested in possibly becoming heir some day, she ran away. Now she probably uses a fake name in some places, tho I don't have one for now lol.

Murtagh is still an OC I have to work more.. I did with everyone but yh. He is nothing inspired on Murtagh from IC btw hehe. (Don't blame me, I just didn't had inspo before to have so many OCs and I needed inspo. And now I can't let go of his name, I love it a lot). But anyways, Murtagh is an half-elf. His mother was the elf, and she never really knew she was pregnant of an half-elf and not elf (because you know, she had fun with an human but later with her bf elf too lol). Both her and the bf were kinda pissed to have an half-elf child, usually both humans and elf don't totally like them. The mother managed to find the actual parent, the dad, and left the newborn at his house the sooner she could. I don't have much about him sadly, I still need ideas. But his parent is sadly a bad man, and is somehow related to when Kyaran was locked in a dungeon. People tend to think he's mean because he's pretty introverted and is used to live on his own, but he's actually really nice and will help others with no strong big reason to do so. He travels quite a lot around too, but sometimes just stays at Guhan (the human kingdom) really.

I have more fantasy OCs I can talk about, but now for last is Knox Blackwood, also one that isn't so developed as Kyaran or Arcane but I still like him a lot. He's a human born somewhere in Guhan, his childhood was really bad since his father was awful to him and his mother never really did anything about it (she didn't know everything his father did but still). He got away from home maybe at the age of 15yrs old, somehow found some work to get money (tho he also stole money and jewerly mostly too) and some day he found a pirate that got him on the crew (yh I still need to think way more about this, but I want this idea). He stayed on that crew and liked almost everyone there, but some day it was attacked by witches, and almost everyone died. (I'm not sure if he was the only survivor, but probably yes. This is a bit too "clichê" imo but since I want something else to happen before he's in another crew, I'm thinking literally now after this attack it makes sense for that thing to happen, and so maybe everyone else would die really). But anyways, he hates witches. And years later he gets a ship on his own, and starts meeting new people and then he has his crew.

Nowadays his crew (I need to find a name for the crew/ship) is one of the most known on the pirate islands (that also need a name lol). People tend to think he's a bit of a joker maybe, but due to the way he acts, it becomes way easier for him to prank others and get what he wants because he's actually pretty smart. He's crew also calls him "smart fox" or "cunning", I think that's pretty explanatory. He could do almost anything to help his friends, and will almost always prefer to get a solution to a problem that isn't fighting. Random but not so random, he doesn't like that much physical touch, and might or might not get even more anxious if he's feeling stressed and someone tells him stuff like "Everything is fine".

OK OK RE watched black butler first season it was great anyways here's some more telling stuff i'll say what people consider spoilers n stuff ohh also heavy trigger warnings i guess esp regarding sexuality

hoooooooooooly fucking shit they really fucking nailed like how being a servant is this subservient thing you're doing but like in order to be served you need to put yourself in vulnerability's way and it's like a two-way pact you make w someone else and it's so fucking creepy and terrible to see honestly when you remember that kid is like 10 or 12 or something like it's fucking crazy to be reminded sometimes

that angel arc was bullshit and i found no interest in it at all and honestly i remembered why i didn't remember the last few eps of this anime. cuz it's the angel arc. and it's boring as shit and also just like. idk we don't know anything about angels but they seem just like Useless and Not Powerful and Weird Winged People Who Want To Kill Off Humanity and it's like ok whatever? it's just some villain tossed out but oooh it's supernatural or whatever.

ALSO if i remember correctly the entirety of season 2 is about comparing a demon who only lives for hunger and going from people to people with no promises taken or loyalty to its master, and sebastian who lives for his servitude because he's gotten tired of his only-hunger life as a demon and wants an interesting master to serve as long as it's fun for him and there's a reasoning for it. I'M SO excited to see the difference between those two with a new-found sense :)

also they literally made all these flashbacks and sexually driven situations to put ciel into then like there's nothing more sexual than like the pure dynamic he has with his butler so it's just like oh ok awesome i guess did we really need this, were we not supposed to like care or........

every other character from every single death god and like the participants around ciel were really cute and i liked them a lot but william is real fucking crazy like i love that guy plus obviously grell cuz she's my girl and she made every scene better because her vibes are i think really good BUT i wish she wasnt made fun of like every single time but rather her be built to have her moments that aren't stained by others but it's. fine. i'll. take. what we. have. also the undertaker like lol omg they were so much like. the fact that you could see backwards and go like "oh this fucking weirdo exists and also related to death, unique design too. alright a death god" BUT NO i was like oh yeah they're a fucking weirdo i accept that. nothing wrong they're just a cool side character. ummmmm. the chess mentions were a bit too much for me and also the constant repetition of everything every character has ever said BUT i think that's just an anime thing so it's like whatever im fine

idk i don't have much rn i just re-watched it and i remember it as i do and the things i don't remember i don't for a reason (it sucked, boring, who cares) but i'm looking forward to comparing it to season 2 because i think alois + claude is more of an understandable and good characters for me now instead of "the idiot and the whiny bitch" like i can see it now. and the comparison is really nice and idk i think it's fine i was just not like. experiencing enough when i watched it first as a newborn infant to like, care about it. but hey this is why there's always time to re-watch.
