In honour of Doctor Who's 60th birthday, here are 60* things that I like about less popular** Doctor Who stories.

(*in multiple posts because I'm falling foul of the character limit)

1. Susan is great in The Sensorites. She's at her absolute best in stories like this where she gets to be genuinely a bit alien and a bit weird.

2. "So," said someone at the BBC, "we're going to produce an allegory for different political systems, using insects. Choreographed by a mime artist. On a budget of about £2.50." The Web Planet might not entirely have succeeded, but my god, you have to love that they tried.

3. They introduced Jamie, the best companion, in The Highlanders! How is does this have less than a 7/10 rating, what is wrong with you people. It's Jamie.

4. I applaud the utter bonkersness of The Underwater Menace, and Patrick Troughton really gives it socks.

5. The Wheel in Space is proper 60s sci-fi: Servo-Robots, x-ray lasers, radio beams! I can practically smell Penguin mass-market paperbacks thinking about it. And with the introduction of Zoe, it completes my all-time favourite TARDIS team.

6. The Dominators contains the Quarks, who are adorable. They weren't supposed to be, but it doesn't matter.

7. Zoe is still relatively new to the TARDIS, but she has heaps to do in The Krotons. Nice having a female companion who's written as smart and capable.

8. We have entered the 70s, so with Colony in Space, we get Social Issues. Especially an Evil Mining Corporation, which are always fun.

9. More Social Issues in The Mutants, but this time they're paired with big sci-fi ideas. Ancient tablets! Strange life cycles! Love how much is going on here.

10. The Time Monster is like the Eurovision of Doctor Who. Deeply silly, but what would Doctor Who be without silliness? I'm sorry about Jo's coccyx too.

11. I love that they returned to Peladon in The Monster of Peladon, especially with the 50-year time jump. I'd like to see that kind of follow-up more often.

12. Is it not cool to love K9 any more? Well, I like my Doctor Who with a dose of silliness, and The Invisible Enemy delivered that. Every time traveller needs a robot dog.

13. The design of the Seers in Underworld is excellent, I love a brass dome.

14. Doctor Who doesn't have enough giant squidmonsters looming on the horizons. I'm glad the The Power of Kroll does something to address the deficit.

15. The Creature from the Pit gave us the line "a teaspoon and an open mind", and I appreciate it for that at least.

16. Romana wears one of her best of many splendid outfits in The Horns of Nimon.

17. I liked all the arch dialogue between the Doctor, Enlightenment and Persuasion in Four to Doomsday.

18. Heathrow airport is an underrated setting. I also appreciate how Time-Flight prominently features Concorde, making it far more 80s than they could ever have planned.

19. I don't intend this to be damning with faint praise (even though it probably sounds like it) but my favourite thing about Arc of Infinity is that we get a little jaunt through 80s Amsterdam. I do love a tram.

20. Babyfaced Martin Clunes doing his spoiled princeling thing in Snakedance is enjoyably disconcerting.

21. Terminus is tense and scary and bleak. Another one that I'd expected to be more highly rated.

22. Warriors of the Deep gives us a very solid base under siege. Silurians + Cold War is a winning combination.

23. Landing in a modern village doing a historical re-enactment in The Awakening is a witty touch.

24. I can’t say I enjoyed the idea of the Doctor’s violent moods in The Twin Dilemma, but I have to commend it as a punchy way to introduce the new regeneration.

25. The Mark of the Rani should surely get some love just for introducing the Rani: camp, delightful, iconic.

26. Herbert turning out to be HG Wells in Timelash is a lovely twist and handled well.

27. The Trial of a Time Lord is so grand and ambitious. If the show hadn't been struggling in general at this point, it would be among the all-time greats.

28. With its colour-coded gangs and faux-urban slang, Paradise Towers is gloriously of its time in a way that currently feels quite naff, but that I suspect will be fascinating to revisit in about 30 years.  

29. Delta and the Bannermen is action-packed and has one of the best titles in 80s Who.

30. Possibly the most terrifying moment in all of Doctor Who is Kane's face melting in Dragonfire. This series is nothing if it doesn't send children running for safety behind the sofa.

31. Got to love it when Who gets aggressively anti-Thatcher, and they never did it more than in The Happiness Patrol.

Started watching the animated The Batman series the other day. So far I really like the aesthetic and theme song. As for the rogues in this version...

Not sold on all of them yet, but the Clayface story was really good and tragic. I like how they gave us several episodes to get to know the character first. The scene where he starts changing and runs out into the streets calling for help, but is unable to speak properly – good stuff. 👌

Riddler has a weird, very different design from what I'm used to, but I don't mind it? Him playing 20 Questions with Batman to figure out his identity was hilarious, I loved that. Wish they used him more.

Penguin...is a bit annoying, but at the same time he's annoying in almost a funny way. Can't believe he's voiced by SpongeBob. 😆

Joker has potential. It's cool that he can actually fight pretty well here. Kind of feel like this show overuses him and Penguin, though, to be honest.

I like Catwoman's outfit and hair. Glad her ears aren't just little devil horn points, but they're also a bit /too/ big. Appreciate that she has cats and cares about saving animals, as that's an important part of her I feel gets left out sometimes, but it still needs more focus.

Bane, Manbat, and Freeze aren't grabbing me so far. Don't know why they bothered to use Freeze if they're just going to reduce him to a thief, as if we don't have enough.

Not sure about Firefly, though I like that he's voiced by the guy who does Kovu (Lion King 2), Haku (Spirited Away), and Max (Goofy Movie).

Scarface and the Ventriloquist seem decent. Not much to say about them, they're pretty similar to the BTAS versions. Scarface's appearance is kind of weird, however. He looks very skeletal.

Poison Ivy is interesting so far. It's cool that they actually made her younger here, as it sort of makes them go a different route from having her be a seductress, plus we got to see how she tried to help plants before she became Poison Ivy. She's way underutilised here, though. Why did they wait so long to bring her in?

Ragdoll is a villain I haven't seen before and honestly thought he looked like Scarecrow at first (too bad he isn't in this). I enjoy him so far. His voice and personality are entertaining. Then I found out he was Jeff Bennett, who also voices the Creeper, who was a fun character. No wonder.

For Killer Croc, I think it fits well that they gave him a Cajun accent. That comment about how he might have trifled with the wrong kind of voodoo opens up interesting possibilities. I still always find it strange when he looks so completely crocodilian, though.

Speaking of strange, I enjoy Hugo Strange so far. He's a character who has a lot of potential for fun scenarios.

Okay so, Playboyy episode 1, the bad first :

the acting is so rough in parts. And in some scenes it's fine cause that cannot be easy to play, but in others I'm just like. what the fuck are you doing. As often in those cases I'm left wondering if it's a "we didn't have the money for enough takes" issue, an actors direction issue, or if I'm missing something.

the show flip-flops between visually intriguing and/or visually funny and absolute & total blandness in a way I cannot make sense of.

The good :

Love how deliberately not sexy most of the sex scenes/kinks are. The terrible "cop" outfit ? the cringy flirting ? the standard porn lines in japanese ? incredible. it's funny, it's an interesting change of pace from the usual BL sex scenes and getting rid of the glamour feels relevant in an episode which has for whole thesis that everyone has to contend with sex one way or another

Like i said, the show is really visually fun sometimes. Not beautiful, I wouldn't say beautiful, but I'm enjoying seeing sets that have had a lot of thoughts put into their design. The choice to go for the #aesthetic rather than realism is great imo, especially when you compare how "normally' the playboyys are filmed during their little get together with the lush, absurd environment the rich boys evolve in. it's fully two different worlds and I love that.

speaking of #aesthetics I want to kiss whoever was responsible for costume design on the mouth. Those characters are dressed the way you'd draw them if you wanted them to stand out in a reader's mind. Real manga charadesign vibes. I fucking love it.

Nont (or is it Nant ? why do they have such similar names T-T) was on screen for so little time and still managed to have real impact on me. I'm invested in him, I'm invested in his quest, and his smug "you wouldn't know, you don't have a mother" was so mean - I love him already.

Probably controversial but I really liked the tense music/almost scare chords over Zouey trying to masturbate like. the guy's complicated relationship with his own pleasure is interesting and i. idk, I'm sure it broke immersion for a lot of viewers but it worked on me, I felt real unease both times.

The "could go either way" :

I have no idea how they're going to deal with Zouey's reticence toward sex in the future and I'm a little wary. So far I have no complaints but. you know.

Listen I am fully team playboyy and I don't think we're meant to take their "scamming those poor, fragile men" scene completely at face value given that it's their ass on the line if things go wrong but at the same time i don't trust tvshows to be fair to sex workers so. we'll see. I have hopes though.

I went from "Zouey what are you hiding ?" to "oooh noooo sweety" real fast, only to go back to "what the fuck are you hiding" toward the end, so at least the show is commited to keeping me guessing, which I appreciate

{ This seems like a good moment to drop something about Mira's artistic side. Not only does she enjoy creative work but it also gives her a particular sense of calmness and freedom. Her artistic activities range from making music to sewing but when judging her skills with a professional eye she certainly isn't great at everything she does. Mirajane's definite strengths are modelling and music. Her photographing and sewing skills are not bad. Her singing voice is loved by everyone and it's long ago that she has learned how to play the guitar. She can be classy or rocky and enjoys everything all the same. She loves the spotlight and the spotlight loves her and her dearest reward is the smiles and good vibes she gets out of other people. Modelling is also something she has done for quite a long time and while modelling jobs often also come with a nasty side, she's had the possibility to learn and grow and read people's intentions better, good or bad. It's something she can appreciate because it can certainly be useful to have this skill at hand. And despite the one or other unpleasant experience she still enjoys modelling as an art form. Photographing goes hand in hand with this; she's by far not as skillful as a photographer as she is as a model or singer but she's had the chance to pick up quite some knowledge and practice over time. She's decent. }

{ Now there's sewing/costume making. As mentioned before Mira has a few sewing skills. They aren't particularly expanded and far from flawless but they're definitely there and she has sewn the one or other piece of clothing for herself and others. Her great sense of fashion assists her well. That being said, some choices in outfits or costumes especially can and will seem a bit off-putting or not like something someone with a great fashion sense would pick at all and that's because sometimes Mira's love for the grotesque may come through. Obviously that would confuse some, especially people who haven't been in close contact with Mirajane. Last but not least, drawing. For Mira, the 'oh my god who drew that, it's horrible' trope has been part of her comedy moments in manga and anime. This is something I will keep and ingrain in her artistic and skill headcanon(s), however. Mirajane can't draw well and it's the artistic skill she has practiced and come in touch with the least. Everything mentioned above, including drawing, are things that she does mostly because she enjoys doing them. Apart from modelling, what has been important for her job list especially during the time she had retreated as a mage, she doesn't really feel the need to be professional at what she does in her free time. Mira is an ambitious person but this ambition doesn't follow her in everything she does; there needs to be time to relax, time for herself, time for the simple things she can enjoy. If she enjoys it and is good at it? Great! If she enjoys it, is good at it and can bring joy to other people? Even better! But as long as it's just for herself, she feels no particular pressure. That being said, she is still hurt when someone has a strong negative reaction to something she created. After all, even if she just creates something to have fun, she still put effort into it in one way or another. So that's why the expressive negative comments regarding her art when she decided to show it to someone threw her off and also hurt her. She had mostly drawn when being by herself, it's fun and relaxing, and as she was solely doing it for herself she didn't especially notice just how bad her drawing skills really were. Perhaps she also just wasn't used to such direct negative reactions towards one of her art skills anymore, as she had been working on all her other artistic skills for longer and regularly gets showered with praise. However, Mirajane is down-to-earth, no unrealistic person and open for criticism. That's why she secretly decided to take art lessons from Reedus to improve her skills. Even just a little. Surely, he would also be able to fuel her passion even more and she would enjoy learning from him and surely, he would enjoy talking and demonstrating his passion towards her just like she loved to present her singing and forward her love for it to other people. }

Ugh gosh there is just so many good performances of theirs-- they are really just such a magnetic, talented group whether it be as 5 or 3. But anyways, I wound up selecting 10 lol (hope you don't mind) that I really like, because I also wanted to include some solo stages in there as well! So just in chronological order:

Gongchan Solo, Smile from B1A4 Amazing Store, 201308: I think Gongchan has always been overlooked on his vocals. And I’ll make it clear, he certainly isn’t anywhere near Sandeul’s level. BUT, he has a very nice tone, and can actually be quite stable and powerful. You can tell as he begins singing the first verse he is nervous, but as he get’s through the first chorus he stabilizes and you can actually appreciate his vocals! And to think this was from so long ago, and he still struggled so much for years afterwards about his confidence. Ugh, such a shame but I’m glad he’s gotten more confident over the last couple years.

What's Going On? from KMF 20131231: This is such a fun rendition of this song, love the rock vibe, the stage outfits, CNU’s ENTIRE VIBE UGH (also Baro somehow pulled off the fuzzy coat as well-- so props for that)

Road, from The Class Concert, 201402: yes shocking, my favorite song of theirs from my favorite album from my favorite concert makes an appearance on this list. I mean, how much more can I gush about this song than I already have over the last 10 years lol. It’s emotional, it’s nostalgic, it’s beautiful. And them being in tears during this rendition just makes it all the more important to me.

This Time is Over, from Listen to the B1A4 Concert 201404: Such an angsty song, and this rendition in particular with that extended opening and Sandeul’s vocals makes it even MORE emo lol. I love basically all of their performances of this song, but this has to be my favorite. The instrumental arrangement is also terrific and don’t even get me started on the fire balls that erupt from the stage during the climax lmao

Sandeul Solo, Emergency Room from King of Masked Singer 20150412: I think this song just... idk, encapsulates all his strengths as a singer? It shows is range, is ability to be both breathy and powerful, his runs at the end OMG THE END *chefs kiss* just so fucking good. He is just SO good.

Jinyoung Solo, Nothing Better from Sketchbook 20161022: If you go back far enough or search Sketchbook in my tags lol you’ll see I’ve already raved about this cover-- the fact that Jinyoung’s favorite solo stage of mine just happened by chance of Sandeul getting sick and Jinyoung filling in at the last minute just adds to it. I love the rawness, the fact that it isn’t obviously rehearsed, the raspiness to his voice. And like I’ve also mentioned before, Jinyoung’s strength is definitely softness and his falsetto’s, both which are aplenty in this performance.

Last Christmas, from the Show Music Core 20161224: Lmao ok, so more of a light hearted and fun one, but!! I still go back and listen to it every year around the holidays! (aka I’ve already started this week lol). They sound great, their pronunciation is pretty good, and they just seem like they had such a fun time performing it

Lonely from their Live Space Concert 201702: I love this song in every performance, but I appreciate this one particularly because the focus is completely on them singing-- not the dancing or stage outfits, just them. Also it’s one of the best examples of how amazing BANAs are with their fanchants (or in this case, literally just shouting out every lyric lol)

Jinyoung & CNU Duet, Too Much from their Live Space Concert 201702: Shinyoung is dead in a ditch but apparently I’m still a slut for them because this performance is one I still watch with such heart eyes. They both sound fantastic, their voices blend very well together, and them just slowly getting closer as the song progresses ;;;

Starlight’s Song, from The Kolor 20201022: Ok, so I actually love all the performances from The Kolor video as A3, but my favorite performance from this appearance is definitely Starlight’s Song. It’s my second favorite b-side, and I think they do an excellent job here performing it, Gongchan especially filling in Baro’s parts. And Sandeul’s powerful belt during the last chorus is always love~.

The way we played hot seat was either part of a larger drinking game when a certain card was pulled from a deck, or just on it's own. In the standalone, you do that but everyone gets a turn being asked until people get bored and leave. Fun way to find out shit about people. Usually the unwritten rule is that you can't lie. I imagine everyone sitting on shitty chouches and chairs in a semi circle around a table full of cups and bottles playing it

Pierre: good fashion and music taste, shirt is gone halfway through the night, also fuckboy but wholesome, actually studies, plays a sport for sure probably soccer in some way either club or Division he's too good for rec, will hold your hair back so you can throw up, will tell you your outfit sucks, good at math, also part of the squad that games, econ major, workout buddies with reader anday have taken a math class together

Lando: is a pledge or new member his big is Carlos, undeclared major, just happy to be here, gaming squad, used to play lacrosse or something equally obscure, king of knowing where the good snacks are, weirdly good at beer pong, growing into a fuckboy wholesomeness level tbd, probably sweet with reader as she helped him through a blackout or something, met her because she's basically house mom for some of the new boys (the kind of mom who will teach you to do laundry or iron ONCE)

Carlos: hockey flow but does not play hockey, actually studies and is smarter than what people give him credit for, came from a private high school and uni really opened his horizons, also good study buddy, gets along with most people, goes to office hours the most out of the actually studies gang, fun at parties, owns the frat dogs, he and reader met at Office hours (they were the only students) and found they had mutual friends too

Lewis: is/was president of frat, great grades greater bod, did full evolution from fuckboy to good man, has the back tests and the moral support, up for late noght talks about life, definitely was a D1 athlete, best fashion game, implemented no hazing policy, fits into notable alum or PhD category

Mick: undergrad like Lando, also plays soccer or something, too sweet, also walks girls home/holds your hair back etc, cleans parts of the house that aren't his responsibility, higher alcohol tolerance than you expect, everyone is bizarrely protective of him, legacy member (his dad was a legend), drives a motorbike around campus and can't decide between law and psychology, actually studies, met reader through the frat and she would die for him, brings her to class on the bike sometimes because the bike is faster

George: business major, frat treasurer, three ring binder business casual in class kind of guy, nice enough, shirt comes off when drunk, runs marathons and a podcast about investments, best notes in the game and great study partner, actually studies, is drinking monster at 6AM but not because he stayed up late, he and reader met through the frat and sometimes drink wine and bitch together

Lance: hockey player, legacy member, studies sometimes, sarcasm on point, great at stack cup, very chill, knows every good nap spot on campus, also has high alcohol tolerance, is the kind of person who does well in the cold but does not like it, wears headphones so people don't talk to him, great one on one but not in crowds, business major and minor in computer science, probably also met thru Lance's gf but vibe as more introverted people and will cover for each other if one does not want to go out

Nicky: a good boy, part of the walks people home squad, sets up designated drivers for parties, good snack game, future in medical field, good listener, pretty good study buddy, midnight snack enabler, met reader through frat and his gf he and reader are on babysitting duty together sometimes when others get too drunk/high

Valterri - was good at a sport when he was there, now a very effective lead engineer at an architectural firm

Ugh, he was in one of his moods again.

The office cubicles were hastily bustling with nervousness and terror. At any given moment, the infuriated man, so-called boss, will be bursting through the double doors with a dark red tint across his cheeks and maybe even smoke out of his ears, if you're lucky.

Mr. Kidman has never been good with the whole "patience is a virtue" thing, he's a ticking time bomb at all hours of the day. Nothing ever satisfies him, nor remotely excites him, he just finds something to yell and scream about at some poor unfortunate soul and then continues his merry day. But today, he was furious. He had no empathy for anyone, even his favorite two little secretaries that wear push-up bras like a side-job. Apparently someone had brought him the wrong breakfast order and everything just went downhill from there.

Unlike all the others, you seemed calm and composed amongst all this mayhem, but only because you, and maybe two others, knew that 'Old Angry Kidman' was finally retiring. Yep, freedom at last. Well, unless the new guy, or girl, has terrible anger issues.

So you just sat at your clean and pristine desk, typing another draft and adding it to the plentiful piles saved on your work computer, while soundlessly chewing on a mint piece of gum that substituted for the absence of a tooth brushing the morning of. But your quick finger movements were hushed once Mr. Kidman, as predicted, flew straight through the doors with his signature fiery red face and sweat droplets dotting his thinning hairline. "Every body fucking up! I've fucking had it with all of you." He demands, majority of the room raising from their seats with caution. With his teeth tightly gritted and his lips in a fine line, he swirls his index finger in the air, motioning to all of his terrified workers.

"If it were my fuckin' decision, I'd have each and everyone of you pieces of shits fired and on the streets in point ZERO-TWO seconds. You all are fucking lucky that this is my last day here, son's of bitches." A man of few nice words, that he is. The nicest thing you've ever heard him say was thank you, and that was two years ago. His vulgar and aggressive attitude truly brings the worth of working this job down. If it weren't for the good pay and lack of any other remotely feasible company jobs, you would've quit a long time ago.

But alas, you still endure the inevitable fiery reign of his obstructive wrath on the daily.

Dolan is his name.

The new boss, that is. That's the only information you and the rest of the staff knew, besides that he's a male. He hasn't shown up for work yet, or even formally introduced himself. Hell, you don't even know what he looks like. But you were certainly nervous for his arrival.

What if he's just like Kidman, or worse?

It most certainly made you nervous to think that this new guy could ever be worse than Kidman. You were hoping and praying that the he'd at least value his workers and employees.

Everyone, on your office floor, was anticipating the days and hours of his big arrival. No one was certain of when he was going to show up, or if. But nonetheless you were one of the most nervous ones. You held the highest title among your coworkers, except CEO of course, but you were pretty up there when it came to business standards. Everyone seemed to like you as well, your kind nature and natural non-brutal attitude sure did make up for other people's. Of course, you didn't really have an office of your own, because you enjoyed the time spent with the people around you. You truly loved the relationship and humbleness you gained from it. At least you weren't a snotty bitch, right?

There were plenty of little rumors around the workspace that you'd become the new (and improved) owner of this whole entire manufacturing company. Specifically a well known fashion line, Choff. The floor that you, and many of the other leading workers, were on was basically the information database. But from time to time, you'd find yourself strolling through the other, more clothing/model filled areas. Just to see how things were flowing.

Which is actually what you're doing in this moment; running your fingers along the racks filled with hangers that held all the fitted clothing items. It seemed like fun to be down here, measuring and sewing the different outfits to the men and women, but it also seemed stressful. Everyone's always in a rush, with their exploding New York accents and their flailing around all over the place. It's pretty amusing to watch from afar, but you'd be scared to get in anyone's way. They'd probably just run you over and continue their day unaffected.

With that thought in mind, you abruptly come to a stop when you run into the muscular backside of someone, startling you from your stare on the tiled flooring. You uttered a few apologies, taking a step back and straightening your pencil skirt from its newfound wrinkles.

"Lost, darling?" Your eyes trail the floor before you until they're stuck on a pair of shiny dress shoes, attached to a pair of long legs and a broad chest. Your eyes finally landed on the remarkably handsome face, of someone you didn't quite recognize. It wasn't uncommon to stumble across unknown employees, but could it be him?

"Frankly, no." You shortly answer, studying his jaw-dropping features. He was indubitably perfect, without a doubt. With a nicely trimmed beard decorating his beautifully shaped jawline, and big hazel eyes that stared right back at your own, he seemed unearthly. Like he was God's favorite angel sent down from heaven, just to show you a glimpse of what it'd really be like inside the pearly gates. "Are, um, you?" You weren't exactly nervous, just mystified. His recent smile grew into what seemed to be a smirk, while his right side's dimple grew more prominent.

"I'd like to say that I'm not, but I sadly am." He shrugs with a chuckle, sending a wave of unbeknownst pleasure through your ears and fluttering down your spine, until the ends of your toes were satisfied with his deep and raspy voice. "Could you maybe show me around this gigantic place? I've been in need of assistance for the last hour or so." He questions you, dropping his shoulders back and letting his eyes roam your stature before drifting to the interior of the long hallway the two of you are currently standing around in. "I very well could, but I have a dreadful meeting to attend to within the next five to ten minutes." Actually, the meeting was in fifteen minutes. You just simply wanted to see the man's reaction, which wasn't what you though it'd be;

"Perfect, I'll be in attendance for that as well. If you'd so kindly lead the way, I would most appreciate it." He smoothly negotiated, stuffing his right hand, which was tightly wrapped with an expensive looking watch, into his pocket with another grin. He seemed very eloquent with his words and the way he addressed things, it has to be him?

"Do you mind me asking of your name?" You began as you started your trek back to where you came from, your heels quietly clicking from beneath you as you lead the way, him following close behind. "Dolan, Grayson Dolan." He quickly answered. Indeed you were right in thinking he was the new (and maybe improved) CEO of all Choff productions. "New head guy?"

He only nods, to yet another one of your endless questions. "And what's your name, darling?" He asks as the two of you stop at an elevator, his quick hand beating yours to clicking the slightly worn down button. "Y/N Y/L/N, direct head management under you." You relay before boarding onto the empty elevator, the doors closing moments after the two of you were stood side by side. You fidget with the ends of your skirt, staying as calm as possible under his stare that you couldn't help but shrivel under.

"Under me, huh?" You almost gulped at the sound of his double meaninged phrase. Smart guy, hm? Your heart started beating a bit faster the more you thought of his little statement. Your mind became a whirlwind of visuals and fantasies before you could even stop it. Just those two little words had made you all sorts of a mess, and he hasn't even done much of anything. "Don't get too worked up darling, we have a meeting to attend." He chuckles as he steps off the elevator that had opened only seconds ago. You just scoff, your cheeks reddening as you stride right past him, maneuvering through the expanse of people that had just left the staff room, in order for the upcoming meeting to advance.

The moment you were sat in the room and time had passed to where everyone had finally shown up, you felt that lingering feeling of eyes on you. A pair of hazel eyes to be exact, who was sat far from you at the end of the long table. For meeting him not too long ago, he sure did seem comfortable around everyone. It was entirely too soon for you to be liking him already, better yet imagining different scenarios with him as someone boringly rambled. You decided that you'd forget him for the time being and focus on your job, as much as possible.

Though it would be granted as difficult as time moved on..

"That's the conclusion of this meeting. I thank everyone for being here, and I especially appreciate your appearance, Mr. Dolan. I'm happy to say that things around here will continue a lot smoother than it did in the past. And I know most others would agree." Burt Wallace, one of the coordinators, concluded after standing from his seat to dismiss everyone with a nod. While everyone dillydallied in conversations with one another, you in the other hand, hustled straight out of that room and towards the same elevator you had used earlier. The moment you clicked the button, the doors opened wide and you hopped in, tucking yourself in the corner while you gained your breath. You smile to yourself at the successful 'escape' from any questions or perhaps a witty comment from a certain CEO on the loose.

You sigh happily to yourself, watching the doors close again until a hand is stuck between them, pushing them straight back to reveal the man you were somewhat avoiding. "Care if I join you again?" He asked, but he still entered otherwise, clicking one of the many buttons to make the door close. "Did I have a choice?" You almost scoff, feeling his shoulder brush against your own as he stood in the same spot he had previously stood in. "Nah, not really, but I like to seem like a little bit of a gentleman." He answers, the roll of your eyes substituting for the internal scoff that you hadn't let out. The two of you rode in silence for what seemed to be eternity, only the faint sounds of your breaths being heard. As soon as the elevator door clanged and opened, you made a beeline out of there and hustled toward your organized workspace like there was a snake chasing you.

"What's the rush?" Ana Rita, one of the only tolerable women in this entire building, asked as you ducked under your desk. Even though you hadn't looked back to check, you had a feeling he'd follow you, or worse, ask you to meet him in his office. You weren't exactly sure why you were hiding from him, he seemed pretty nice. But he truly intimidated you. Not in a competitive way, more so a physical way. "And why the fuck are you down there?" The redhead crinkled her brows as she looked down her long nose at you. "Just, shhhh!" You bellow quietly, covering your pursed lips with your index finger.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck. Hot man, six o'clock! Get your ass out of there!" She violently whispered at you, frantically tidying herself for the "hot man," presumably Mr. Dolan as you had predicted, approached your desks. You tightly hug your knees from under your desk, praying to god that he wouldn't somehow see you. "After noon, sir, may I help you?" You cringe at the seductive tone lined in her voice, something that Mr. Dolan unfortunately probably gets a lot of. "I'm looking for Ms. Y/L/N, I have some issues to discuss with her." Yet again, his girthy voice made you sigh with comfort. It's extremely calming to listen to.

"She's actually right here—" Ana, the little asshole she is in this moment, points straight at you as you plead with your eyes and shake your head vigorously. You suddenly see his handsome head peer over at you, his brows scrunched with confusion. "Uhm, cords were messed up, gotta fix them." You awkwardly chuckle, patting the outlet box stuffed with all your monitor's cords. You bring yourself out from below your desk as the two stared at you, dusting your front side and settling down in your office chair with a nervous smile.

"I'd like to have a word with you, in my office."

danny phantom season 2, eps 1-5 thoughts! opening the new season with episodes like these kinda blew me away. we had multiple serious episodes INCLUDING a two parter!! also, valerie :)

-I don't know what I expected s2 to open with. but danny portal incident in more detail was not it. (also, I hate to break it to you, sam, but danny's parent's bigass ghost hunting rv def chugs more gas than those vehicles, lmao. unless it runs on ectoplasm or something...)

-WHY WAS DESIREE IN THE SEWER? HAVING TEA WITH IT DOWN THERE?? Her making the giant cow come alive is a boss move, we've almost had all of my fav animals as ghosts now <3 I also don't like how sam was expecting danny to just, haunt the place so the cars wouldn't get sold? I KNOWWW I know she's 14 (and I had a very annoying phase like this, I think I mentioned in a previous post, I GET IT) but they're HIS powers, and messing with (1) dealership will not really put a dent in sales overall because they can just move the cars to another sales lot, and it certainly wont change the industry anyway, it's more of a minor annoyance for (1) location. Also, usually people who work at car sales places work on commission, so if they dont make a sale, they don't have money to pay bills, or eat. sam baby if u wanna be an activist you need to like, actually look into these things. with as much money as her parents have, she could be doing a lot..more useful things for causes she cares about? it's frustrating to see someone with resources who doesn't know how to use them. but shes 14 so again. cannot be really upset :/

-IS THIS A PREDATOR VS TERMINATOR VS FREDDY KRUEGER MOVIE BUT THEYRE ALL WOMEN?? you know, sam is so right to be excited about this. /I/ want to see this movie. that rules

-paulina inviting danny and friends to her quinceañera, aw! even if it is just to get phantom to show up :') and there'll be a meteor shower, and we KNOW danny wants to be an astronaut!! there's not a meteor shower every night!! the tickets are non-refundable, but..she's rich? like. gotta agree with danny, they never get invited!! I KNOW it's the principle of keeping promises, but if she was that upset, she should've said something. directly. I hated how she was like, passive aggressive about it through the episode, like you SAID IT WAS FINE, THAT YOU'D GO TO THE PARTY TOO. MOVIES SHOW FOR A FEW WEEKS IN THEATERS. IF YOU HAD A REAL PROBLEM YOU NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT. WE'VE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE, SAM. YOUR FRIENDS. ARE NOT. MIND READERS.

-this outfit is everything . anytime the show does an over the top cutesty pink outfit i WANT IT. it looks like shit I wear JKASDHF I HAVE a bow like that and a pink sweater. I need leg warmers </3

-SAMS GOTTA RE-HALF-KILL HIM??? thats fucked up. but also, he finally got his logo!! it took until s2!!! this episode was lowkey very fucked and I felt like it glossed over a lot. does sam have guilt about like. kinda KILLING HIM?? I know, he also agreed and walked into the portal. but. she made the choice to redo it SO quickly (even if it was because someone had to beat desiree) and danny, during their fight, brought up a lot of stuff sam's done in the past, meaning he was holding onto those memories and resentment was building. (I KEEP SAYING HE LOWKEY NEEDS THERAPY, BUT I THINK MOST EVERYONE IN THIS SHOW KINDA DOES) which...is a red flag? and then they didnt even GO to the party URGH I know she tried to make up for it, but it really felt like Sam fucked up and barely faced any consequences and got everything she wanted in the end. I KNOW it's a kids show obv they aren't going to go too in depth, and she undid the damage, kinda, but...I DUNNO how to articulate it but it rubbed me the wrong way.

-but on a note about desiree, her powers of wishes were STRONG ENOUGH TO ERASE NOT JUST THEIR MEMORIES, BUT DANNY'S POWERS?! fuck, if I was danny I'd be like, trying to make friends with her. I know they always have horrible side effects as most genie-granted wishes do, but...c'mon, I'd at least TRY to be like 'I wish no ghosts would hurt anyone in my town' or 'I wish vlad would lose his ghost powers forever no matter What and also forget about my mom' LIKE. SHIT DESIREE IS SO POWERFUL. rewriting reality powerful, basically!! appreciate her. respect her.

-aww, sam helping tucker pass the nurse's office so he wouldn't see because he's afraid of medical stuff? very sweet. I also don't like medical stuff, I've gotten a lot better at handling it tho. but seeing blood and needles still makes me feel lightheaded x_x

-FOLEY, BY TUCKER FOLEY. I want to make my own perfume, that's so cool. even if his first attempt isn't good, he's pretty consistently shown to have an inventor/entrepreneur streak in the show, so like. I can see him inventing or making something (or several somethings) that make him $$$ when he grows up :) proud of my creative son

-I know the 'creepy abandoned hospital on the edge of town' is a joke and the creepy hospital trope is so Worn Out, but in my town we actually DO have a hospital like that! my dad was born in it, but its not in use and hasn't been for, like, 20 years! it needs to be torn down but I think the city doesn't wanna pay the money. the inside is horrible, spray painted and broken glass and shit everywhere. but there's still like, rusty equipment and fucking DOLLS all over the place. the cops drive by it pretty frequently to make sure no one is like, breaking in. (because of water damage, some of the areas really aren't safe. also, asbestos, but people still go in anyway) but also, some of my town was used in a filming for a stephen king show. So it's lowkey spooky all over. just a fun personal tidbit :) to lead into saying, any hospital abandoned for any period of time is NOT safe to quarantine these kids in JKSAHDKF like I KNOW it's a ghost trying to do this, but NONE of these parents are even like, 'well, why dont we keep them in the regular, working hospital'....YIKES. this hospital looks pretty accurate to the one in town. grungy and spooky.

-fentons are tax evaders confirmed by jack's fear of being audited, lol no one is surprised

-ghost sickness via ghost bugs. horrifying concept. I actually expected it to be a new villain, not dr. spectra again! this is a very elaborate scheme. her new form rules, love the new costume. the way none of the bg kids seem to recognize her as their old school councilor. did we just forget about that completely?

-dash watching romance movies in the fucked up ghost hospital. same.

-'oh please, you're ghosts, do you have any idea what YOU smell like?' no, tucker, what DO ghosts smell like? I genuinely didn't know they would even have a smell, I actually want to know now.

-it feels like a while since we've seen jazz!! i was happy to see her again, even if she was a head in a jar for most the episode. I want another jazz-focused ep!!

-we finally see danny doing space-related stuff!! him and his friends stargazing to open ep 3 of s2. cute :) until, GHOST PIRATES!!!!! ...ghost pirate captain is a small child?? VOICED BY TAYLOR LAUTNER???

-oh, the easy listening is ember's song instrumental slowed. 'vapor drone' THEY VAPORWAVED HER!!! ember in a pirate outfit tho >>>>. and the cruise being called m.bersback JKASDHJK. ember adopting a little pirate brother is also pretty cute. concerning this teen and little kid have such bad opinions of adults, like, who hurt you?? (how did you DIE ALSO?? im always lowkey curious about that. we know desiree died at an old age, but her ghost form is young, probably mid-20s, so I wonder how that sort of thing works...its a more mental thing, isn't it?) but ghost team-ups are always cool to see, even if ember bailed after danny took her guitar. I guess she probably thinks youngblood can handle it (which, he's been owning danny this far in the ep, so...fair)

-tucker got that sponsorship from nasty burger for their radio!!! again, opportunistic money maker king, love to see it!!!

-danny taking control of the kids SO FAST. he makes a pretty great leader. no one is surprised, im pretty sure I said I think he's the most mature of the trio, once again, correct, because he's taken on so much responsibility already. all the teens suiting up in the jumpsuits to go save the adults and taking the ship over with a BLIMP. OKAY LETS GO. this feels like it should be a mid finale or straight up finale.

-...speaking of finales. why is ep 4-5 of s2 combined into a 50 minute episode? I havent even clicked play and im concerned. weird placement, like, this season JUST started and we're getting a two parter? okay...why are the episodes placed like this? why not put this at episode 10 or something, for a mid-season thing?

-this is also a cute dress. possibly my fav dress so far. can her parents give ME cute dresses, I'LL wear them.

-it turns out the castle fright knight was in is called pariah's keep and there's something worse than fright knight in there! lovely! fuck off vlad wtf are you doing <3 your hubris <3 is going to literally get you killed <3 'ring of rage' and 'crown of fire' are great names tho. ...vlad turning into a super polite guy when he was scared of mr. pariah was hilarious. and fright knight doing the same...I mean, it makes sense, he's a knight, he serves a king? happy to see fright knight again either way :) vlad telling him to call him tho, lmfao. you WISH HE WOULD. (I wish hed call me, too. 😔)

-so...jack being genuinely concerned about vlad...maddie really didn't tell him what happened at the cabin, did she. damn. if I was her id immediately come home and be like 'YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS SHITTTT THIS CREEPY GUY--' like, I feel like that stuff you need to tell your partner!!! I know she didnt want Jack to think she was an irresponsible parent putting danny in danger at that time, but STILLLL. maddie spilling boiling tea on him. get his ass. how is jack this oblivious to his wife's discomfort with vlad!! ughhh

-DANNY AND VALERIE BEING FRIENDS??? :D that was a cute moment. 'hey val <3' and 'if you like him like him, make a move, or someone else will ;)' at sam...damn!! I love her. valerie go for it girl!!! I hate how sam and tucker treat val also, like I GET IT YOURE PROTECTIVE AND DONT TRUST but if anything him befriending valerie will help when she finds out or he tells her like I feel like she'll be more understanding that they think! ALSO I feel like her reason for not liking ghosts is valid, like you haven't really explained the full story to her anyway! she doesn't seem to have any other friends after being booted from the a-listers so im like :( but seeing them kick butt together again was nice <3

-the ghosts all RUNNING FROM PARIAH DARK IS NOT GOOD, I thought he sent them to attack or something, but no. why doesn't someone just tell desiree 'hey i wish pariah dark would die' lol. once again I think she can solve every problem <3 but seeing all the enemies in one place, being civil and hiding together? love it.

-you just know danny's gonna have to clean up vlad's stupid mess. also, jack being willing to put on the ectoskeleton pants to help maddie, as soon as vlad heard it could kill him, he suggested jack do it instead of helping maddie himself? this is why jack got the girl, my man.

-ghost skeletons. how do you end up as a skeleton ghost in your afterlife instead of a humanoid like most the ones we've seen? lmao

-the ghosts just making new homes in various stores. I'd totally be setting up in an expensive clothing store if I was a ghost.

-valerie's dad is possibly the most useful adult so far, with that ghost shield expansion!!! and valerie saving vlad and danny, even tho shes been thru it already, shes still so good!!! this family rules.

-danny: *gently caresses valerie* :)

-*then he immediately TELLS HER DAD ON HER. and his first response is 'are you okay?' :'( such a good dad...

-*me every time fright knight breathes* youre doing SO great sweetie :)

-the fenton suit thing is so silly looking. does anyone take this thing seriously

-ALL THE GHOSTS FIGHTING WITH DANNY <3 AAAAA. and the fact that pariah isn't perma-defeated, but just locked away again. yikes. he'll probably get out again, won't he? it wasn't too clear, but if vlad DID make a pact with fright knight, I am rabid. I will beat vlad to death with the fenton bat (tm). YOU DONT DESERVE A COOL KNIGHT.

-valerie being direct with sam and challenging her? kinda love that, even tho I normally don't like 'catfight' type situations. because sam has been very passive aggressive about it which is annoying. valerie knows wtf she wants and wasn't even embarrassed to tell sam, but she did tell her, giving sam time to make her own move! and sam denied it and got embarrassed/mad! and sam did have a chance when danny was about to go off and fight, and she hesitated and didn't tell him. I feel like she's hesitating because they're friends and it might make it weird between the trio (poor tucker would be third-wheeling) but if u snooze u lose, u gotta GO after what u WANT girl. smh this is a No Tsundere Zone. 😤

-Wedding Planners AU :: Hermits work in various unrelated businesses such as a bakery, flower shop, etc., but see each other semi-often bc they're semi-often called upon to work together by another hermit's wedding planning business (obvs if you couldn't tell i know absolutely nothing abt wedding planning & businesses n shit lol but it's the /concept/ of it yannknow)

Grian's the protagonist with his sidekick Scar. He originally started collecting the belts because they were shiny but eventually decided to read the book and find out what they were for when Scar said he didn't see it. Doc, False, and Iskall are major obstacles because they don't believe the book exists.</p>

-Demon AU :: Something enters the overworld and turns into a supernatural style-demon through Dimentional Distortion. Who gets posessed first, who goes crazy, and who actually kills it? Honestly I think that, if anything, Tango would know how to gank it, for obvious reasons. (-@fireflower-dusk.)

-High Street AU :: Everyone owns a different shop on the same street or some run a shop together (-@violets-arepurple.)

-Cat AU :: Either they're were always cats, or Hels turned everyone, including himself, into a cat, and they have to survive and overcome challenges in the Season 7 world. An example of a challenge would be Cub's a Sand Cat(the cats that always look like kittens no matter how old they are and live in deserts), and everyone's not sure if he can actually swim, so they have to find a way for him to get around without involving water. -How about a secret AU.. Every hermit has their big secrets and when Grian joined. He doesn't really know anything about those secrets even till season 7. Not many hermits talked to him in S6 anyway.. Mumbo was the closest to him so they would have regular chats For Iskall is mostly business related things Grian wants to know why so he set out on a quest to force the others to at least talk to him so he wouldn't be lonely. Grian once asked to use Xisuma's computer and crashed the whole thing trying to download illegal gamesites and get money off the internet. Jung Jaehyun, 22 year old guy, who attend his bestfriend wedding party this morning in New York. His best friend, Johnny, just getting married.

It was a huge wedding party and Jaehyun was the only guest who attracted the most attention, even Johnny seemed to be less charming on his own wedding and he's already get used to it. Many women approached him but none of them caught his attention.

Jaehyun isn't the type of person who is in a rush to find someone, but seeing his one and only best friend finally gets married, he becomes worried.

After the wedding, Jaehyun took the time to relax in one of the cafes near his hotel, still with his suit, and continue reading his new novel that he bought yesterday. When he's about to reach the last pages in Chapter Three, he heard the bell jingle, which that means there's a customer had opened the door and went inside.

That's the first time he saw you; wearing your violet sparkling short dress. You just cut your long hair into shoulder-length hair, that may look normal to you, but is enough to attract his attention. He compeletly forgot his books, his coffee and his meal, he focused on you.

He caught his breath when suddenly you walking towards him, his eyes get wide when you're brave enough to sit in front of him as if you have known each other for a long time.

"Hello! I'm sorry for what happen next but I really need your help," you said.

Before Jaehyun ask you what's going on, you grabbed his hand and the door opened. He saw a guy, with a suit and he's scanning the whole room to looking for somebody. Then he landed his sight to the two of you and walk towards you. This guy is staring at you, feel suspicious and don't like what he sees.

"Who is he?" he asked.

"I'm her new boyfriend," Jaehyun, who knows your plan, answered; make you quite surprise on how confident he is.

"What are gonna do?" you ask, follow his plan.

"You're supposed to attend the wedding with me, not with him," the guy said, staring at you. "I flew from Seoul to New York just to meet you and we can come to your cousin's wedding."

"You're supposed to attend the wedding with your new girl that you're kissed at my birthday party, Mingyu," you said and Jaehyun quite surprised to hear that. He get it, you just get broken heart.

This guy, Mingyu, seems about to get mad but he held his emotion. He just took a deep breathe and leave you guys after that.

"Sorry and thank you," you said as you let go of his hand. You're not so sure, but you feel like this guy won't let your grip at the first.

Jaehyun smiled, seems like he didn't mind at all being touched by a stranger. "I'm okay, I love helping people."

You smiled a little.

"Ummm.. Your boyfriend cheating on you?"

"Ex-boyfriend, please," you correcting him. "Well yea, he was cheating on me, he's doing something terrible on my birthday party."

Jaehyun sighed. "Gosh, that's terrible."

You nodded, as you unconsciously took and eat one of his french fries. "He's such a jerk."

Then he scanning your outfit; your very formal outfit.

"Are you going to attend some kind of event? Wedding party if I'm not mistaken," he asked.

"Yeah, a wedding party. My mom asked me to bring someone, my future husband preciesly, because she really want me to get marry soon. But the fact me and boyfriend just broke up and my mother must be upset."

"Did your mom meet him already?"

You shook your head. "She hasn't saw him until we broke up."

"So.. are you still gonna attend the wedding or not?"

"I don't know," you feel depressed. "I'm so confused."

"Well you can take me."

You gasped. "What?"

"Yea, you can take me, we can make you mom feel proud and at least relieved because he saw you found someone."

You raised one of your eyebrows; is he really serious?

"I-I really appreciate your kindness but we're strangers, how can you be this kind?" you ask.

"Well, look at yourself; you're a stranger but brave enough to hold my hand," he said and you blushed. He giggled. "Beside, I have no friend here. My best friend just get married and I and I just came to his wedding a few moments ago."

You think for a while before you finally nodded. "Ah, I see. So, you're gonna help me?"

He nodded; confidently. "Beside, I'm still wearing this outfit."

You only smiled.

Jae offering his hand. "My name is Jung Jaehyun."

You grabbed his hand. "Hwang (y/n). Nice to meet you."

Jaehyun smiled and both of you get off from your seat.

A few moments later you both already arrived at your cousin's wedding party. Not so many guests come because your cousin doesn't really like to invite many people. Only certain people he invited.

And just like usual, people will pay their attention towards Jaehyun because of his looks.

"(y/n)!" someone shouted.

You turned around and saw your cousin, looking gorgeous in his wedding suit. You walked over him and give him a hug. "Congratulation, Doyoung!" you said and pulled yourself. "Sorry I was late, something happened."

Doyoung smiled, showing his gummy smile. "That's fine, don't worry."

Then he notice, Jaehyun, who stand not so far from you. "Who is he?"

"Oh!" you turned at Jaehyun and Jaehyun smiled at you. "He is Jaebum-"

"Jaehyun," Jaehyun correcting you.

"Ah yes! Sorry, this is Jaehyun, my boyfriend," you laughed nervously.

Both of them shaking hands in such a good manner and introducing themselves. Jaehyun also congratulate him as if they're both already know each other.

"Hey, your mom is looking for you," Doyoung said to you.

"Really? Where is she?" you asked.

"Near the pool, she's talking with my mom."

"Okay, I'm gonna meet her. Thanks, Doy! Have fun!"

Then both of you leave Doyoung.

"Who's your mother's name?" Jae asked.

"Hwang Sora, my dad is Hwang Junhee but he passed away last year so you're not gonna see him," you said.

Jaehyun stop his steps and staring at you.

You turned around and raising one of your eyebrows. "What?"

"Nothing, I just a bit surpised when you explain everything, especially about your dad."

You giggled. "Well, that's the fact."

Jaehyun smiled and take a deep breath. "Are you ready to meet your mom?"

You looked up at him. "I think I should be the one asking you that question; are you ready to meet my mom?"

"Sure," he said, confidently.

You feel both amazed and surprised, this guy doesn't look nervous at all since earlier. Even though the fact is he really doesn't know anyone here because the only people here are your family; your people. He smiled politely to each person you introduced to him as if he would be part of your family.

"I adore your confident, Jaehyun," you said. "In fact, I'm the one who nervous here."

Jaehyun smiled. "Why? She's your mom after all."

You giggled. "Yeah, we're also friendly but I don't know why I feel nervous. Maybe it's because I'm worried that my mom isn't sure that you're my boyfriend or even my future husband."

He leaned closer which make your heart skip a beat. "You want me to be your future husband?"

You didn't answer him and only blink your eyes which make him laughed. Then he offering his large hand. "Come on, we must act like we're a couple."

You staring at his hand then grabbed it. Both of you walked towards your mother.

"Hi, mommy," you said as you both stood near her, who busy drinking tea with her friends.

Your mom turned around and immediately hugging you. You both laughed, it's been a few years you didn't came back to New York cause you've been busy with your study in Seoul.

"You're getting fat," your mom tease.

"Moooom~" you whinning.

She laughed then he notice the guy beside you. You can see through her eyes that she staring at your boyfriend a bit intense; she's examining.

"Ummm, mom," you said as you grabbed Jaehyun's arm. "This is Jung Jaehyun, he is my boyfriend."

Jaehyun smiled, grabbed your mom's hand and kissed it. "Good evening, Mrs. Hwang. My name is Jung Jaehyun and I'm your daughter's boyfriend."

You mom smiled while you keep praying that she believes and everything goes smoothly as you've planned.

"How long you've been dating?" your mom ask.

"Almost a year, we met at the Bukchon Hanok Village. I was lost and she show me the way. I was lost my way and she came the showed me the right way. Apparently we had the same direction; we were going to the traditional library there."

You really have no idea about how real and convincing Jaehyun's explanation is. You know when people lie; like they will unconsciously touch their nose, or they don't dare to look at the other person when they talk or they're scratching their back 'cause they're nervous.

But you didn't see those signs on Jaehyun, he was really calm, confident and he even smiled.

"What is your job?" your mom asked and that's the scariest question.

You turrned to your mom who unexpectedly smiled at him. She patted Jaehyun's arm and said, "I appreciate your honesty, many men approach my daughter and lie about their work just to get her attention."

"Well, just be hoenst I have no job for now, I just graduated from college a few months ago. I'm not gonna lie, Mrs., the college life was very difficult and even I almost gave up, I can give up easily because both of my parents are rich, my mom is a teacher and my dad is a doctor. I can take their money as if that's not a big problem for them. But that's not what my parents taught me, they taught me to always fight and not give up so easily. So, for now I haven't worked, but I've applied to several companies and there are even some companies that choose me to join them."

You caught your breath when you listen to his explanation, this one is real and you can feel it cause you've been through the same thing.

Jaehyun smiled. "Thank you, Mrs."

Your mom nodded and patted both of your shoulders. "Alright then, I am very happy to see you two. Go on, have fun and hope you guys get married soon."

You usually refuse or whinning when your mom talking about marriage. But when she talk about it with Jaehyun near you, you didn't feel uncomfortable at all; you hope a little.

Both of you leave your mom.

"I never thought you're gonna say that," you said.

Jaehyun smiled and take a deep breath. "Yeah me too. I was nervous, just be honest. I'm a good liar, aren't I?"

"You nervous? You didn't seems nervous at all!"

"Okay, so you actually want me to be nervous?"

You laughed and shook your head. "No no no. I'm sorry, you do a great job."

"Thanks, honey."

Your smile immediately disappears; you're surprised. "What?"

"I call you that cause you're my girlfriend and convince people here that I'm your boyfriend. You forgot the plan?"

You slowly smiled. "Y-yeah. You're right."

Then he wrapped his hand around your shoulder, which makes you shivered and a bit nervous. "Oh I have a question. Can you please tell me what happened in the cafe? Did you ex-boyfriend just chasing you or something?"

You sighed and nodded. "Yeah, but luckily he's not in the same hotel with me. He still didn't accept the fact that we're broke up. I planned to look for a taxi and came to the wedding party by myself but I had promised my mother to bring someone here. I can't think clearly at that time, then I just walk and I see you sitting near the window. And I choose you to help me. End of the story."

"Wow. Your life is seems like Korean drama. Do you watch any of it? You'll be the main cast."

You laughed. "Yeah, but not too much."

During the events, Jaehyun really treated you as his girlfriend; he hold your hand, he calls you in a very sweet names, he brings you food and drinks, asks how you are, do you want to just sit or walk around.

Suddenly you don't want all this to just be pretending. Deep inside your heart, you want everything to be real, especially when you take a family photo and of course Jaehyun has to join in because everyone believes that Jaehyun is your boyfriend. You admit it; you fell in love with Jung Jaehyun in only half a day.

A few hours has passed and the party is over. After saying goodbye to your mom, you and Jaehyun leave the party.

"Thanks for helping me," you said once both of you arrived in front of your hotel.

Jaehyun nodded. "Sure."

"This is.. not our last meeting, right? I just barely know you and I wanna be your friends. I wanna know you more, you seems nice."

Jaehyun blushed. "Aw, that's sweet. Unfortunately tomorrow morning is my last day here."

You surprised. "What?"

"Yeah, I've been here for 4 days and tomorrow I'll be back to Seoul."

You feel dissapointed when you hear that.

Jaehyun giggled as he hold your hand. "Hey! Why you suddenly become sad? I still have time until tonight."

"Yeah.."

He can feel your dissapointment. "How about this, tonight I'll take you for a walk. How is that?" he asked.

"Mmmm.. That's better."

"Meet me in the front of the coffee we've met earlier. I'll wait you there."

You smiled widely. "Okay."

"Great. Before that, can I have your number?"

You nodded and you both exchanged your phone numbers.

"Thanks," he said.

And you blushed when he suddenly winked at you before he went inside the car.

It's almost 7 and you already on your way to the cafe. But when you're about to pass Jaehyun's hotel, a heavy rain suddenly came. "Oh my gosh!" you sighed while running to the hotel where Jaehyun stayed.

Once you get inside, you immediately calling Jaehyun. "Hello?"

"Hi, baby. It's raining outside, right?"

You didn't answer cause you're too flustered that he gave to you. "Y-yeah, and I'm already in your hotel. Do you mind if I stay?"

"Sure! Just wait me at the lobby, I'll pick you there."

"Oh! N-no! Just stay on your room and I'll come to your room."

"Ummmm.. Okay." Then he said his room and you just found out that he stayed in VIP room at the high floor.

Jaehyun opened the door once you knocked it. He smiled widely once he saw you. "Hello! Come in!"

You smiled and get inside his room.

"Make yourself comfortable. What do you want to drink? Tea or coffee? " he asked.

"Ummmm... A hot tea please."

"Alright."

You looking around and his room ia quite huge, especially for himself. You walked towards the window and you can see the New York's view from here.

"Tea is ready," Jaehyun said from behind you.

You both sat on the chair near the window and enjoy your hot drinks. You silently glancing at him who pay his attention to raining New York out here. He look so good in his t-shirt and his short pants.

"Wanna watch something?" he suddenly ask, making you gasp.

You shook your head. "No, thanks."

"Okay, so how's your mom?"

"Ummmm she's fine. She.." you stopped for a while, make Jaehyun looking at you. "She keep asking about you."

Jaehyun slowly smiled. "Oh yeah?"

"She likes you."

"Looks like our plan went pretty well," he smiled.

You smile faintly, feeling that everything just makes you confused. You both just pretending but in the end you fell in love with him. You suddenly remember all the things he had done to you at the party; the way he hold your hands, call you in such a sweet name and many others. You don't want that to stop and just disappear.

"(y/n)?" he called you.

You looked at him. "Yes?"

"You okay?"

You nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

No, I'm not sure, you said inside your mind. "Y-yeah, I'm pretty sure."

Suddenly there's a huge thunder, you even see the thunder clearly from the window and you scream really loud. Jaehyun stood from his chair hug you immediately; and you gasped. You're about to pull him but another thunder comes and you screamed again, made him tighten his hug.

"I'm so scared..." you cry as you burry your head on his chest.

"Sssshhh.. I got you, babe," Jae whispered.

That call again, you sighed.

The rain is getting heavy and you're not so sure if you can return your hotel or not.

"Hey, you okay?" Jae asked.

You sniffed. "I-I don't know."

Jae pulled his hug and staring at you. He hold your face in his arms and wipe your tears. "I'm here, don't be afraid."

"Why you are so kind to me?" you asked, almost whispering.

His forehead frowned. "What?"

"Why you keep being so nice to me?"

"Is that wrong?"

"This is isn't part of our plan," you said as you stood up. "Y-you should stp. You should be as sweet as this, act like my boyfriend, treat me with kindness and protect me like this only when we were at the wedding party. I think I should-"

And he suddenly pressed his lips againts yours. You gasped and about to pull him away but he hold you very tight. No matter how hard you tried, he's stronger than you and you give up in the end. You slowly closed your eyes and melted in hiss kiss. You wrapped your hands around his neck and bring him closer.

"I'm sorry but I'm in love with you," he whispered as he broke the kiss. He kissed you again. "I'm sorry." Kiss. "I can't help myself." Kiss. "I love you, baby."

"Jae.." you broke the kiss but he pressed hiss lips againts you again.

He finally broke the kiss and let you catch your breath.

"I don't want pretending anymore, my love isn't fake and when I said to your family how great I am for having you, I want it to be real. I wanna own you, I wanna have you and I want you to be mine," he said.

You looking at him, but he already looking at you deeply, deeplier than you. "Are you serious?"

He nodded as he touch your cheek. "I think I fell in love with you in just one day."

You smiled as you grabbed his neck. "Yeah, me too."

He leaned closer and kiss your lips again. "So, can we stop pretending? Let's be real?"

You smiled and nodded. "Sure. Let's start everything."

He giggled and kissed you again as he wrapped his arms around your body. "I love going to New York, at first I refused but then... everything changed. I found you in New York City. "

What you also get to know which is very neat, interactive, and personal is you get to know not only the first names of your actual Spirit guides but why they are visiting you at this time, what's provoking them to reach out to you and most importantly is what is their very intimately personalized message from the universe to you, this is always heavy and super deep.

(Further Spirit Guide Investigating/Communication) Spirit Guide Oracle Readings.. typically you can do this at any point whether you know your spirit guide or not yet, the reading will work anyways. Oh my job is very boring, I have a fancy title but it's mostly the grunt work of making sure everyone else can do their job, and tomorrow I'm background support for a big party. You've got to have a more interesting job/studies, or at least better Saturday plans, so how's it going in your life?

Changkyun really saw Shownu and Wonho leave and said "I guess I'll be the sexy one... a heavy burden to carry, but I'll do it... no need to thank me..." like he has the chest to compete with them. But we love to see a bad bitch thrive, so I support it. "They wouldn't let me put Hot As F in the song, so I made it Fahrenheit and they did" BRO! (but then his vocals in Shape of Love meant I had to forgive him for all his weird explanations of his lyrics)

They're such good dancers it's annoying, seeing the "Fantasia" dance for the first time??? Or the way they pistol squat in "Shoot Out" before jumping back up to keep singing??? And they do everything in such perfect sync, which just makes it so gratifying to watch, they have some of my favorite dance breaks. And then their producers are so good, I'm glad Wonho still gets to work with that team, too (hopefully also Changkyun for his solo work, but Wooki's really good and they killed Duality).

What happened with the post it note thing was in 2019 he was blamed for allegedly smoking weed with a girl who he was friends with (the girl blamed him and she was doing that to a lot of idols for many years and was even in jail because it got too far for her) so he left the group at that time and he was just really broken since then and so the fandom wanted to make sure he knew that he was loved and appreciated and we wanted him to come back so bad so fans all over the world left messages on post it notes outside of the sse building so he could see it and he didn’t pop up for six months after that lol then when he was officially back to normal he took some pictures with post it notes so we knew that he saw it and appreciated it (thanks for coming to the ted talk lmao) he really said OH YOU THOUGHT I WAS DONE???? An Abandoned Home, an Abandoned Heart

“What are you chicken?” Amelia taunts.

“You want to go in there and face the ghosts?” Madeline throws back at her sister.

“I’ll go, just shut up!” Alice snatches the flashlight out of Amelia’s hands and stomps down the path towards the the house at the end of the hill. She turns around and sneers at the twins when they shout for her to come back. For the past ten minutes they have been bickering back and forth and back and forth about who to go down to the house.

Instead of really deciding, they dared and re-dared each other, giving reason why and why not and it just drove Alice mad. To put an end to it all she made the choice to go down the uneven path of rocks, past the broken wooden gate, far away from the rest of the neighborhood, and right up to the creaky door of an abandoned house that all the adults told them to stay away from.

Alice for all her rebellion as a highschooler, never did pass the wooden gate and break the rules. She studied up on the supernatural and knew that the best way to appease spirits, whether or not there are really there, is to just leave them alone. Her older sisters have warned her, and maybe threatened her, about the fairies and their rings and ponds.

“Do you believe in them?” She asked incredulously as she could as a young child. Alyssa moved her cigarette from one side of her mouth to the other.

“No,” She admitted. 

“But I’m also not stupid enough to tempt it either,” She said. 

Alice decided that’s good advice and held it true to all her supernatural beliefs then on. Too bad she made friends with Amelia, a girl with a penchant for trouble and messing around where she shouldn’t be. Now Alice in her college stubbornness stands on the doorstep due to being annoyed to her wits end. With a sigh at her own recklessness, figuring she’s come this far, she pushes open the door.

The flashlight shines into the empty foyer and makes it seem hollow more than it already is. It’s colder that’s for sure. She wraps her arms around herself. There’s a dusty couch in the corner and tables with dents in them. She disregards them both to take a seat in the center of the floor, just at the base of a set of stairs that lead to an upper level.

She curls up in the chill of the house. As much as she wishes she didn’t walk down the steps, her stubborn pride knows Amelia won’t believe she went near the house without waiting at least ten minutes. Even then she’ll have to find something to take with to prove it after. So much work for something so dumb.

There’s a creak from upstairs and she brushes it off to wind or animals without a second thought. The house is old and having someone inside is messing with the pressure it has set up. She huffs and twirls the flashlight on the ground in a bored manner.

There’s another creak and then a bang. She jerks at that sound, glaring at the upstairs like it offended her. Part of her is tempted to walk up and figure out what is going on. A more persistent part of her tells her to just sit and wait to rub it in the twins’ faces later.

More bangs and more creaks. The shutters and the house being old. She ignores it all. That is until the sound of something shatter happens right behind her. She jumps and whirls the flashlight behind her to see the shards of a vase trembling from having broken. The beam of light is directed at every ounce of the stairs and there’s not a person to be seen.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” With anger fueling her, Alice marches a few steps up the stairs and points the light over the railing to try and find someone.

“Amelia I swear to god if you’re fucking with me, we aren’t friends anymore,” She calls into the emptiness. No answer, not that she expected one anyway. Amelia isn’t the kind to give up on her pranks and Madeline is just as sneaky though no one seems to believe that.

“Same goes for you Madeline. I do not appreciate these kinds of pranks.” She says out loud again, expecting the silence that comes after.

“What pranks do you like?” Alice stumbles in her effort to turn around, dropping the flashlight as she does. The light hits the wall and is off no use at the bottom of the steps. She holds her breath as the thing in front of her begins to glow a soft blue hue, tilting it’s head in a questioning manner.

With the glow she can see it clearly. A ghost of sorts. The clothing they wear is not as old as she would think. Nothing frilly or fancy, but certainly not from the time period she’s used to living in. Their ghostly hair is tied back in a ribbon.

“Holy shit,” She ends up saying. The ghost smiles at her gently and offers a hand to help her up but recoils when she leans away.

“Ah I supposed you wouldn’t be able to touch me anyway,” They say with a sad laugh to follow. Alice nods along slowly, trying to figure out the best way to get out of the house and the ghost she’s talking to. The ghost. Ghost.

“Holy shit,” Alice says again with more panic. She pushes herself up a step and the ghost reaches out.

“No it’s okay!” They say but Alice isn’t sure if she should believe them or not. Her first instinct of course is to run, but a smarter part knows the ghost would be able to be next to her the entire time. She stays still.

“Oh this is the first time I’ve had guests in so long, and one so kind who doesn’t throw rocks at my windows,” The ghost says to her, floating up and then sitting next to her like they are old friends. She leans away but doesn’t take her eyes off them.

“Please tell me your name? Let me give you a tour! OH!” They are back on their half way gone feet in a second, once more reaching a hand down to help her up. 

“Uhm,” Is all the coherent thing Alice can think to say. The ghost huffs and pulls their hand back.

“Still not used to that, been dead for at least 100 years and can’t get over the fact I have to walk through the door and not open it.” They laugh to themselves and wave Alice to stand. She does carefully, not trusting her wobbling legs. The ghost claps their hands.

“What is your name?” They asks. Alice swallows a hard knot in her throat.

“Alice,” She croaks out. The ghost sighs happily and bows low.

“Welcome Alice. I am Sir Francis Claud Jacques Rainier Alphonse Bonnefoy, at your service,” The ghost gives her a cheeky smile and Alice manages something that might look like a smile back at them. The wave her excitedly up the stairs. She gulps and follows, deciding that asking about the long gash going down their back is not a good conversation topic.

He shows her every up stairs room in detail, talking on about how he used to have fun in his home, having guests and throwing parties. Alice’s initial forced smiles and fright melt away to a general curiosity and genuine enjoyment of the over the top ghost. He talks on and on, asking her if she’s enjoying the tour. She says yes regardless.

“Ah how times have changed,” Sir Francis sighs longingly a portrait in the corner of the hallway. Alice looks away from the one of Sir Francis in his living years to walk closer to him. Her eyes scan the painting, that lump in her throat clawing it’s way back up. Maybe not an exact replica but that is certainly a face she recognizes.

“How is this life treating you?” Sir Francis asks her then. She tries to find words but there’s a distinct lack of nothing coming out. She takes a step away from the painting and Sir Francis leans into her personal space.

“Have you forgotten about me?” He asks. Alice shakes her head to his words but it’s directed at the portrait, showing a look alike in upper class garb and a haughty look. She does not know this life.

“I don’t know you,” She whispers though she meant to keep that thought inside. Sir Francis blinks at her, a strained smile on his face.

“You have to, why else would you come here?” He asks desperately. She backs away from him again, not liking one bit the danger she feels.

“You always come back, giving me more years to hold onto,” He’s pleading. The house is shifting before her eyes to a farther back time period, with long dresses and corsets, then once more to frilly outfits and powdered faces, then another to even farther back.

“You always come back,” Francis’s voice is harsh. Alice turns from him to go down stairs. He appears in front of her face in the blink of an eye.

“Please don’t leave me,” He begs and Alice isn’t sure what to do. The fear for her life is outweighing anything.

“What do you want?” Her voice shakes. Sir Francis beams.

“Just some of your time, please, tell me,” He begs. Alice wonders if this can spare her. She takes a deep breath, telling about her sisters, her time at college, the ridiculous friends she made, as many stupid stories she can muster up.

It appeases the ghost. Francis smiles and listens silently to it all. The house morphing around them. It’s smaller now, less grand in the stair case and photographs instead of portraits now line the walls. Francis’s own outfit changes to something she would see on her campus. Jeans and a tee shirt but his hair still tied back with a ribbon.

“I feel better now,” He says once she’s done. She swallows hard.

“So we know each other?” He laughs sadly.

“I know you. You never seem to remember me,” He tells her. She narrows her eyes at that. He holds out a hand to her and though she may not be able to really touch him, she places her hand on top of his.

“You are just as bitter as ever.”

“What is that supposed to mean?” She blurts out. Francis smiles and she turns her head away with heat creeping up her cheeks. He walks her down the steps, longing in his eyes as their hands do not stay together.

“Visit me soon?” He begs. She swallows and nods just enough for it to count. He waves his hand and a drawer opens from a side table in the now smaller foyer. It has shifted to be more modern, a mockery of what she described her home as but not less recognizable.

Francis holds out the small bracelet to her, a simple pendent attached. Alice takes is carefully and slips it on her wrist. It’s cold.

“You’re friends are missing you,” Francis tells her, attempting to hold her hand again. Alice lets him mess with her fingers as best he can. Light peeks through the windows and Alice sighs.

“I will.. come back as soon as I am able,” Is her promise. It’s enough. Francis bows and smiles bittersweet and she pulls open the door and enters into the world of the living. The house has changed in outward appearance, but no one gets close enough to tell. She walks back through the broken fence and back up the uneven path.

“Alice!” Madeline shouts for her, jumping up from her huddled position with her sister to hug Alice tight.

“We thought you died!” Amelia yells. Alice rolls her eyes.

“The only one dumb enough to die in an empty house would be you,” Alice chides her. Amelia goes off, saying how Alice probably didn’t even go in the house. Alice, pride be damned, just pulls her sleeve down to cover the bracelet on her wrist and lets Amelia believe what she will.
